Getting a bunch of these in debug.log... GetSpork::Unknown Spork -1866429697 CheckBlock() : skipping transaction locking checks CheckBlock() : skipping masternode payment checks What does that mean? Because its not detecting masternodes?

When will release a new wallet. I am want run masternode and i go sleep. 6:30 am Making Windows wallet now. can you get source up on github so linux users can start compiling? +1 It would be nice to get to start compiling...

yeah all my last few blocks have been orphans...had been working fine until recently...is the updated wallet out yet?
That's why I'm asking about reindex... instead of re-downloading the whole blockchain I figure a reindex might work Or the updated wallet would be good if it helps with the constant orphans
|
|
|
how come ./crave-qt -reindex seems to do nothing?
-rescan works... but how do we reindex, besides having to delete and download whole blockchain again?

Do you want to make an Adrenaline node too?
We want nodes for freedom !!

fud was actually coined in the 1920's and most certainly means fear uncertainty and doubt which are the most powerfull market forces that one can use to create a desired situation more info on the histry of these tactics can be found here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fear,_uncertainty_and_doubt know i had to look it up once so i wouldnt sound stupid i thought it meant fucked up disinformation lol which it does in some aspect FUD is a very powerful tool , used alot for manipulation. Governments have been over thrown by it,lol check out operation ajax. I thought they were a football team... you learn something new every day If you look closely its actually DUF spelled backwards.. pertaining to DUFF beer from the Simpsons.

earlier c-cex crossed 100K sat mark ,now its time for bittrex to cross it.
c-cex is kind of irrelevant... that site is dying and not much volume on most coins there. But, try to arbitrage if you can I guess.
|
|
|
c-cex is practically cleaned out. hit a high of 112500 SAT. There is only 188 CRAVE left for sale on C-CEX lol.
There is no volume on C-Cex. You should take Bittrex in consideration or you are just speculating to scam the dummies? yeah but if somebody was willing to buy 1000 crave at 110k-ish sat..then there is good room for some possible arb. +1 arbitrage

Strength comes in numbers. The more people using tor & setting up nodes, the more difficult it will be for them to control majority of nodes. So the more coins we have on Tor, the better !! Besides, in the hackernews article you provided this was stated: Researcher said the flaw actually lies in the I2P software that’s bundled with the Operating System.

POS aww damn, I hate POS. Maybe this coin will change my mind but I still don't like the fact that no money is going in (POW) but money is coming out (POS).
You still have to run a computer to do POS, plus people will be burning CRAVE for BLUR for darkmarket purchases... POW is dead, limited and doesn't scale - centralized to corps only.

Will there be a guide/instructions on how to set up a masternode.. is it similar to another coin that has them?

if dev solve problem with pos 2.0 it can be higher value that all other pos coins using 2.0
what problem with pos 2.0? there is no problem with pos 2.0 don't create a problem when there is no problem... the orphans I think he's referring to this problem :I'm working on trying to solve the annoying Coin Control bug once and for all, I've also experienced it and it is kind of unsettling, if you split lots of blocks at once or do it from the RPC console, the wallet seems to kind of get "out of sync" with itself and takes a bit to "catch up" and show the right balance info etc. So for now, avoid splitting lots of blocks at one time. The guys who are experienced "stakers" know this is kind of an important feature to have, so its a high priority fix to get in now. In which case it isn't really a PoS 2.0 problem..

|
|
Happy to report that so far after my last re-sync no more orphans lately. Not sure why it was so bad before...

discussing thing's in the thread is not the same as posting dates in the OP.
man your a douche... trying to make fud out of whatever little scraps you can piece together in your head lol it's like your praying they take off just so you can say I told you so... sociopathic much?
Well look at the positive, he's just helping to create cheaper prices so smart investors can accumulate more!

re synced the blockchain before work tonight and came home to NO ORPHANS!! thanks to whomever suggested it great stuff Keep an eye on it, eventually you might get more. Seems I have to keep re-syncing and the problem goes away for awhile but then returns sometimes. Dev is supposedly working on some kind o fix.

any news from the masternodes ?
Still waiting, I think. Won't be too long. I mentioned earlier I'm rolling in a patch to help with the orphan problem some cravers have experienced. So this update will be a protocol switch like a hardfork, which means everyone will have to update their wallets by a certain point in time. I was going to make that 2 weeks, but with the orphan patch I'm making it 4 days / by Monday in case exchange people or others aren't around over the weekend. Sounds like he's rolling in a patch first. I hope for the patch, because I too see tons of orphans! Masternodes might be in a day or two?
