They keep money of a lot of people on hold with no prior warning demanding selfies from them. Support is unresponsive. Money is locked up for days and weeks. No word fro them on the situation.

Stop using Kraken!

Ok, what?  This is a service that "demands a selfie"?  As in, they want to see a picture of you?  What does this service do?  I'm confused.

They want id-picture for whatever reason. Their explanation is fraud-prevention which doesn't make sense. I smell fish here. Talking about kraken-exchange.
782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop using Kraken on: August 10, 2014, 08:04:57 AM
never had any problem with them, stop fudding

go check the thread. Don't deposit fiat! They going to lock up your money and demanding a selfie with no prior warning. Support gone silent. Just giving you a heads up so you can avoid having money locked up for weeks or months maybe and a lot of hassle with their support. Don't let them give you the runaround.

Sorry for the 17 Un sell last night; some of us don't hold hundreds or thousands of the and need to pay the bills from time to time.

haha. Now i don't know what to say.
Generally i prefer waiting for a green candle instead of putting out a red one myself because you get more for it and doesn't hurt price. 17 doesn't matter though.
Look, 100 was bought just now at marketlevel for 0.42 btc - if the guy would have dumped he would have gotten something like 0.35 for it. It is quite a difference. Dumping gives you not so good price.

I was the one who bought 100 at Cryptsy - I already sold those at coinbroker for 0.445 btc

oh look. Not enough uno at coinbroker. I'll get an account there too.

edit: they have low fees too! (0,1%)

(off topic - wtf is LTC's problem?)

trolling and hyped up shitcoins that draw money to them. It'll rise again.

i traded small volumes on kraken and was thinking about moving more trading there but now they want a selfie from me. I won't produce that. Kraken loses me as a customer since i can not even trade 100Euro anymore without DNA and fingerprint sending to them. Sad, indeed. I think they interpret the laws a bit wrong. Can't imagine that selfie is mandatory by law. We are only trading numbers. I don't need to produce a selfie to trade some numbers.

Also their explanation of precausion of fraud is phony at best. Good luck with that buisiness. I hope kraken reviews their practices on that.

With higher fees + selfie kraken is not a place anymore where i want to do trades.

thank you dumpers for giving away your profits so early and so low.
This action is hilarious.
Uno below 0.004 is SOLD OUT - it is hard to get a decent amount below 0.005 and they still need to dump. I think there is quite a few pathologic dumpers around. They only learned that - it's all they can. *press sell button* , *dump* lol

good to get rid of them

uno below 0.004:

actually if you want to buy just 10 you have to pay 0.0044

keep dumping to the low 3s ... lol

just because you don't see the buysupport doesn't mean it is not there. Wicked, yes. But we can only have people on board who can interpret specs correctly. There is no sellpressure in Uno now. N.O.N.E.
Keep dumping.

i think cryptsy-withdrawals-issue is a plot to crank up transactions in the uno-network and make it look better in that regard

always look on the bright side  Wink

talked enough bullshit now. See you later Wink

bittrex-wallet status 'delayed'

got network-problems? my own wallet is syncing fine though.

cryptsy problems again ...  Roll Eyes

i am from withdrawing 10 uno down to sub 1 ... we'll see if they send me less then 0.1 this time ... wow, just wow.

ah, yes, guys and don't store your coins at exchange in case you haven't been told  Tongue

edit: and before i forget: don't store your coins at exchange and don't store your coins at exchange but above all never store too many coins at exchange. I hope you get the message not to store coins at exchange. Alright?

Also, the uno from the uran wallet ran right into the wallet right below. What is up with that?

that's an interesting find. Can we recall why we were so sure it is cryptsy? uVNVNZCFyarRNDQ4rGwF34gTki4RvvXyTy is a new wallet though.

is that also a vanity wallet?  maybe someone is a VNV Nation fan?   Cheesy

these are coincidences. Nothing to see here ... lol ... everything is normal...

i love this trading-action at cryptsy btw. just pure beauty. So cristal clear cup forming. Buysupport is first class, guys. Just magic.

if you want to have an article on coindesk you need to make them a bagholder. Everybody knows that.
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- The Riddle of the Twin Brothers - Who Were, Are and Will Rule the World! on: August 08, 2014, 09:35:28 AM

Exchanges will be forced to follow government regulations and those that don't will be raided and shut down in a day.

And once mandatory ID law is passed nobody will sell to you and risk a felony when they can easily sell legally.

It won't be as easy as you think given. Bitcoin is designed to be centralized and NOT anonymous.  You're used to dealing with anonymous and decentralized cash so you need to start thinking differently which is the reason I think most people don't quite get yet just how oppressive this tech is and how there will be no way around it once it reaches critical mass and the proper laws are passed.

Every transaction will be tracked in the blockchain and nobody is gonna risk prison given their sale to you can always be tracked and inspected for foul play.  That's simply too much risk for most people to ever deal with.

Like I said, enjoy paper cash while you still can, once it's gone it's never coming back.

and buy ixcoin now or what? Cheesy

honestly you are tripping a bit too hard because bitcoin is private money we can still trade it person to person. Exchanges are not needed especially not in bigger cities and if papercash goes down we trade with metal. Pretty simple. If they ban metal after they inflate cash they will have mayor problems staying in power.

Vlad, i respect you but you are tripping a notch too hard.

It'll take them 3 generations minimum to get everyone in crypto especially since the surveilance becomes so obvious so early in the game. If i tell my friends how much surveilance they want in crypto they are not going to touch it.

I find it far more likely crypto is regulated to death and fades since average Joe will refuse to get involved. People will live off their own garden and not use money at all.
796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins - Which are the best? on: August 08, 2014, 09:32:03 AM
For ~ $30 or 0.05 BTC, you can buy 10+ Unobtanium.  Relatively low risk and high potential.

+1
Uno still under the radar by most. You want to be in the coin before it is up 10x

what makes uno different is the low sellpressure since it has close to no inflation. Also very fair coin with no premine and good distribution. Very good fundamentals.
797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- The Riddle of the Twin Brothers - Who Were, Are and Will Rule the World! on: August 08, 2014, 09:25:53 AM
all of a sudden all exchanges want selfies with id from me. It's just not going to happen.

That's only the beginning.  Soon you'll need a government selfie plus biometrics just to access your wallet.

So much for Bitcoin is anonymous.  Ahahahaaa

And I personally think they'll eventually do some sort of DNA ID system but I could be wrong about that.  And you'll eventually have what I call, one single "Life-Wallet" which you are born with and die with and nobody else can ever access it, which will hold all of your currency, salaries, assets, etc., which is why a DNA ID system makes perfect sense.

So much for Bitcoin is decentralized.  Hahahaaaa.

And all these idiot "experts", like Andreas Antonopoulos, think people are simply not gonna do it.  They'll just go to a different coin or fork Bitcoin or simply refuse and go on without compliance.

To that notion - all I have to say is:   Hahahaaaa.

Observe how nobody is fighting the current creeping regulation, especially not the fat cat experts:  on taxes, exchanges demanding identification, etc.  That's exactly how it's gonna be - all the experts are gonna keep quiet cause they're gonna be even fatter by then and they'll swiftly slip into the "sublime status-quo slipstream", like the phoney, ignorant, doublespeak frauds they have always been.

Enjoy the final death throws of paper fiat - the last bastion of freedom for the serfs.

well, i can only speak for myself, but it is not going to happen. If i need to i'll stand next to a btc-atm and sell and buy in person. They can honstly suck their selfies. Exchanges demanding that won't have any buisiness. They will be replaced in a day.

interesting thread but i want to vote more than once.

At least Speotnik didn't want to kill aurora and asks people what drugs they buy with btc on the forum or wants to lead a shitcoin-cleanup while creating shitcoins himself. lol

stage 3
100,000,000 people wishing to buy a store of value crypto with no inflation, un-possible?

stage 2
the crypto believers
100,000 people buying 100g UNO = 10,000 UNO
10,000 people buying 1kg UNO = 10,000 UNO
1,000 people buying 10kg UNO = 10,000 UNO
100 people buying 100kg+ UNO = 10,000 UNO <<--- coming very soon

stage 1
the visionaries buying all they dare <<-- you all are here

you forgot the whales in your roadmap. once things pick up speed dominoeffects could be caused. High volatility can happen. Don't forget to put a small/medium-sized sellwall every 100% gains to not let them freak out too much Wink

We should avoid crazy spikes to keep the danger of a crash low. We've been through that twice now with uno. Let's get it right this time. Bagholders need to supply the market when it is rising violently. At least a little bit. The bigger your bag the higher your responsibility.

Bagholders need to find the right measure. Don't choke the rally but also don't let it spike so crazy. Talking about territorry north of 30$

well, we'll see how it goes. Could still take a while for things to get rolling.
