781  Economy / Economics / Re: You don't earn money only from others, but also when you avoid spending your own on: July 25, 2022, 12:12:35 PM
I was guilty of that before during my early days of being a crypto addict. In 2018, that was the biggest money I’ve ever made. I have achieved 7 figures in Philippine peso that time thanks to crypto despite the bear market. But the problem is that I have spent too much on pleasure like travel, unnecessary expenses, etc., for 2 years.

I was too complacent back then. I traveled to 5 countries (7 times overseas) and multiple times in various locals, renting a condo unit, etc., while my balance is draining instead of earning more (I only earned less after being a self-made millionaire).

Until in 2020, I am almost broke again but I’ve learned my lesson, started from scratched and claw until I finally have my second breakthrough. I could have accumulated a good amount for my future but one day of being careless, my wallets are hacked and $12k was vanished in thin air.

But because of my determination and willing to learn from my mistakes, I have managed to slowly got back up again and recovering what I have lost. I still have long ways to go, but I am in a much better place than I was before thanks to the multiple crypto opportunities as a KOL and ambassador myself.
782  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Bitcoin still remains the leading cryptocurrency in the world. on: July 25, 2022, 11:59:54 AM
It’s the granddaddy of all the cryptos! The first born crypto and then “variants” a.k.a. altcoins such as Ethereum, XRP, DOGE, etc., developed and keep growing further, then expanded into NFTs, DeFi, metaverse, etc.

No one can control Bitcoin anymore even the founder himself. It is being developed and deployed one time and nobody can control it anymore. Not banks, government, etc. Bans don’t work either.
783  Local / Pilipinas / Re: BSP governor not keen on banning crypto in the Philippines on: July 23, 2022, 01:30:23 PM
Sa pansamantala okay din na hindi niya balak na i-ban ang crypto pero habang binabasa ko yung article, sa tingin ko ay may negative connotation sa kanya ang crypto. Dahil sabi nga niya

Quote
... “what social good” does Bitcoin achieve...

So, sa palagay ko ay makaka apekto ito kung may magpupush na i-ban ang Binance at mapwersa sila na desisyunan ito.

Quote
The biggest crypto exchange in the world, Binance, is also eyeing to secure a virtual asset provider (VASP) license in the country. Although a think tank – Infrawatch – is trying to block this from happening, with the group even penning a letter to the BSP and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to ban the exchange from operating.

About this one naman, it was clear that the DTI has no jurisdiction to ban Binance dahil wala pang formal regulations itong BSP. At since hindi siya interested na i-ban at regulate ang cryptocurrency, so it's most likely that the Binance ban hindi talaga mangyari.

Hmmm....
784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or Gold Investment? on: July 22, 2022, 01:44:48 PM
To me both look good, investing in gold first or BTC later, but I'm confused by the current market conditions especially in terms of ROI, who is the fastest to move on?

Now this reminds me of something Grin

I've never tried investing in gold. I may not even having plans to invest in gold because I am more into investing towards cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. This is the only crypto I have right now that I am doing DCA (dollar-cost averaging).

If my wallet isn't hacked back then, I could have still hold a decent amount of Ethereum where I've bought it below $200.

785  Local / Pilipinas / BSP governor not keen on banning crypto in the Philippines on: July 22, 2022, 11:19:59 AM
Source: https://bitpinas.com/regulation/bsp-governor-no-plans-to-ban-crypto-but-what-social-good/

Kaka publish lang ito sa BitPinas mga kababayan kong cryptonians. Anung stand nyu dito sa statement ni BSP governor Felipe Medalla? So not only he isn't keen on regulating it, but also when it comes to banning.

Sa akin kasi guys parang neutral stance itong statement dahil neither he support or against it kasi ni acknowledge nya na walang control itong government natin kahit mag impose pa yan ng ban.

I'll be waiting your comments regarding this one guys. Salamat sa lahat.
786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: News about the Merge pushed ETH to $1,400 on: July 21, 2022, 12:54:58 PM
It even pushed to almost $1,600 before it pulled back slightly. I don’t know maybe because of Tesla has sold 75% of their “diamond hands” to correct the market a bit. But of course recently there’s a news that ETH 2.0 or what we call as consensus layer will be delayed again. There are so many factors to consider right now regarding the recent movement of the crypto market. And there are uncertainties on what will happen to the ETH’s ecosystem when it transitions from PoW to PoS.
787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold your bag when you can on: July 21, 2022, 12:50:55 PM
A couple of days ago all I have seen are a lot of threads where people ask questions about the possibility of Bitcoin going down to $1 or coming to an end because they are panicked that Bitcoin may not experience another surge in price due to how the market downtrend a lot in just a few days ago. Are you wondering the reason behind this sudden surge in the price?

It's because "CCP tanks protecting banks because the Bank of China (Henan branch) declared that people's savings in their branch are now investment products and can't be withdrawn."

The world we are living in is far from perfect and issues like this where the institutions and FEDs take advantage of the people will always happen. This will make people realize the purpose of BTC and before that happen hold your bag when you can.
Always remember, not your key not your coin.

Yeah I am proud of holding my Bitcoin right now as I am doing DCA (dollar cost averaging) every month. I am in a profit for the BTC I’ve bought for June and July. But for May, I am still at a loss because I bought it when the price was more than $30k. I just simply stored it in a hardware wallet and not in a centralized exchange or wallet.
788  Economy / Economics / Re: Avoid loan apps, a word of advice. on: July 21, 2022, 12:41:14 PM
The last time I have ever used a loan app was sometime in 2015 or 2016. However, their customer service was very terrible and one of the worst that I have ever experienced. Although I have paid my dues in full, I don’t want to experience  with that loan app again. And I don’t need to loan anyway for something since I am in good hands and doesn’t spend more on useless expenses.
789  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: julerz12 scammer on: July 20, 2022, 03:35:58 PM
julerz12,

Hallo everybody @julerz12 he is scammer, scam TVG bounty
And PUGG, UCF,Squid coin etc.
When i ask a question, then he will banned her bounty group, and official telegram group. Everyone don't trust him

Based on your trust rating, you are the one who is a cheater and a proven liar due to multiple alts. Ever since I have joined julerz12's bounty programs, I've already acknowledged the risks because no matter what happens to the project, it's not his fault because he's just into bounty management. The projects are the one that should be shouldering the blame. He is just honest to all of the participants whether if the project is successful or not, especially token distribution in which most of the time he uses escrow.

julerz12 knows what he's doing especially as my fellow kababayan. One of the most trusted bounty managers I have ever worked with since the very first campaign that I have participated under him. I stand with julerz12.
790  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which crypto Youtuber called the top at 60-69k and told they would sell? on: July 20, 2022, 02:13:42 PM
I do not follow any Youtuber who is more into predicting prices rather than being realistic, so I wouldn't mind who. Back then, I didn't have any Bitcoin as I only have ETH and some notable crypto assets before my wallets got hacked. So whatever happens to Bitcoin, I do not take advice from those influencers and gurus who are just hyping and predicting about the price of Bitcoin or altcoins without any promises or guarantees at all.
791  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why it's so hard to rank-up? on: July 18, 2022, 04:31:06 PM
Like in all aspects of life, success is not a straight line. There are no shortcuts to success. It's not something that's handed to you on a silver platter, but rather earn it.

There's no easy journey to it. When you begin your journey, it's like you're in a dark tunnel which you may get lost due to uncertainties, obstacles, trials, difficulties, etc., and even experiencing the worst of the worst that may tempt you the most to give up on your goal. It's up to you if you want to keep going or not.

So when it comes to ranking up, you must be willing to grind without any expectations or get something in return like merits, etc. You can't please everybody here. Not everyone will merit your high quality or helpful post. Treat rank and merits as bonus perks or blessings instead. What matters is that when you've finally built your reputation and keep learning from your mistakes and getting better, eventually you'll get there.

Before we're all becoming high-ranked members, we're also like you before who started from scratch. But we grinded, keep giving value to the community without expecting anything in return. Be passionate on what you do. There's always opportunity within the opportunity, if you know how to discover it.

Hope this helps you a bit and good luck!
792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin standard book. Download it for Free! on: July 18, 2022, 04:18:32 PM
I could have got my hands on this book for free during the Token 2049 event in Hongkong years ago but I have missed the opportunity since they only have limited copies to give out back then.

I don't know man but personally I don't want to download it unless you've got an official permission from the author himself and not from a third party. It's a huge risk for sharing free download link like this book without a confirmed permission or being authorized by the author. Once that author officially authorize you for that, then it's good. But if not, you could be in trouble in the future once the author finds out.
793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin - a joke or a way to make money? on: July 17, 2022, 08:01:14 PM
It really depends on how you view it right now. Each one of us has our own perspective regarding DOGE. There are some who are thinking it as funny and useless, but there are others who are thinking it as an opportunity to make money by trading. My second cousin from US was trading DOGE actually because he was intrigued by it. He had a specific target for a low price to buy and then sell it high and waiting for it to go down again to his preferred low price.

If I hadn't sold my 36,000 DOGE back then, I could have pocketed big time during the Elon hype days lol.
794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Countries have banned Bitcoin; Do you believe is because of criminal activities on: July 17, 2022, 07:54:50 PM
Mostly likely they outright banned Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies because they don't have control and custody of our transaction as it has the capability of sending big amounts without borders or middlemen to approve or reject it. Even if these countries have banned Bitcoin and criminalize those who owned it, there are still some who are finding ways to trade it anonymously and just converting it via P2P process.

Governments can only regulate these cryptos, but they cannot control how much we send or receive.
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is yours thought about SLP( Smooth Love Potion) ? on: July 16, 2022, 06:53:25 PM
This topic should be moved to the Altcoin Discussion thread since we're talking about an altcoin called SLP.

I'm sorry to say but I think it's kinda impossible right now for SLP to recover and may break its previous all-time high. With the declining number of players & trading volume of SLP and AXS, I can say that the hype already died.

Yes the hype was real back then during the time Axie was red hot. This is what I have predicted all along. The more players who have entered the game, the lesser the rewards we get that forced the devs to keep cutting our rewards as their pool cannot be sustained for long.

Now we're just treating Axie Infinity like the other traditional games which is for fun (but of course Axie NFTs, SLP and AXS as bonus perks that has the edge over the other non-NFT games in terms of ownership, custody, etc).
796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUD Has Finally Taken Its Toll on Me on: July 16, 2022, 03:28:18 PM
Well dude, your money your choice. No matter which advice did you get even from the so-called gurus and coaches out there, the final decision will always be yours. I know how it feels because you want to ensure your future.

But of course, everything in life has risks. You can't succeed without taking risks, and that is a reality. Nothing is easy here especially Bitcoin due to its uncertainty in its price movement.

As for me I already took my fear out and started doing dollar-cost averaging (DCA) with Bitcoin since May 2022. I'll continue to do this every month as long I have extra "not beer" money to spare.
797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin recover even if it fell to one dollar? on: July 15, 2022, 01:48:18 PM
How low would Bitcoin have to fall before it was no longer recoverable?

Price, in my opinion, would not dictate this. It would have to be something that would destroy the foundation and system on which it is built.

what you say?

Realistically it would be unlikely for us to see Bitcoin going down to that amount again. It will eventually stay for a very long time despite the uncertainty and volatility swings from here and there.

I am pretty sure that there is a strong support wall already for those who are praying to buy Bitcoin that low.
798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon tweet again that he is supporting Crypto against Fiat on: July 15, 2022, 01:42:00 PM
Just in case Elon is tweeting something bullish again about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, I don’t think the growth of the price will be the same as before. During that time when Elon Musk was so bullish about Bitcoin, Dogecoin, etc., it was in super hype mode which influenced a lot to buy Bitcoin while the price is so high.

Sad to say that this experience won’t happen again even if by means of various billionaires tweeting positively about buying Bitcoin.
799  Economy / Services / Re: Seeking for an employer thats willing to pay me per article in btc. on: July 14, 2022, 11:56:28 AM
OP I think you should try putting yourself first in the employer’s shoes. If an employer is looking for a writer, then he must add specific requirements like the years of experience, sample of work, resume or CV, etc. Of course, the employer would only choose which of these applicants would stand out from the rest.

And when it comes to article writing, one criteria that the employer is looking in your sample is no other than grammar. Most of the employers are looking for writers who are so fluent in their English grammar. So make sure that your article’s grammar has no or very minimal errors.

And also another suggestion is that you have a LinkedIn profile that includes your background, experience, work samples, endorsements/recommendations, etc.

Believe me. If you take time to make a resume/CV that includes background, experience, etc., along with your well-presented work samples, you’ll have higher chances in getting accepted by the clients.
800  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: P2P transaction cheating techniques. on: July 14, 2022, 11:41:25 AM
I would never deal with users who are below 97% rate in Binance P2P. Anyone below than that is already a concern for me that would either give me a lot of headaches due to delays, possible scam, etc. This is why in Binance P2P, I am sticking to those buyers or sellers with at least 97% and above rate to be safe. So far, I have not been scammed in Binance P2P thanks to their strict escrow system.
