Discord is better to manage chat, content, and announcement. I know Discord has same problems with impersonators but it is better than Telegram if we compare the structure and features of two platforms.
Scammers are indeed a huge problem for Telegram currently. Hardly a day goes by when someone doesn't offer me "the deal of a lifetime" if I send them (ok, mostly "her" using a sexy pic) a few thousand dollars in BTC up front. You have to be really careful with whom you chat and also in the groups who answers you and how legitimate the answer is. Yeah tell me about it. The other day there was this guy bragging in my DMs about how much % he was making in his "scam" investment site... ugh. He's blocked now of course but you kinda resent Telegram now having a "Report user" button like all other social media platforms. Hey there, yeah, we decided to delete the group since honestly speaking, it was too much work for too little return. The month before the old affiliate program was shut down, all affiliates were paid including that which is making the accusations.
Our affiliate program has been shut down for the second month now so, what exactly is "the previous month".
There are no pending affiliates' earnings or payments, all were paid and cleared before the program was taken offline. Can you show some proof that affiliates were paid? That would really be appreciated. @efialtis Did they pay all the commissions they owe you as part of the affiliate program? I am asking because of my Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos thread. The question about importing users and by proxy the affiliates is a complicated one. As I stated above the old platform is that "old" is a traditional casino platform meant for operations in fiat currencies. With our new platform, by design, it is built to operate with crypto and the option to scale and support other technologies in the future. Many people are asking why can't you "just" or "must" transfer the old users to the new platform. Unfortunately, the real world doesn't work like that. There are technical complications and incompatibilities with the technologies used for both platforms. According to our analysis and estimation, it's not worthwhile trying to modify the new platform to bend and become backward compatible with the old platform. The cost and efforts of doing that were not worth taking such actions. Moreover, the new affiliate system is wager-based. meaning, you get paid in real time based on the amount the user you referred waggers (win or lose) while the old platform is based on revenue share, with monthly payouts. These are two very different things. The most important of the factors are, there are just a handful of affiliates with active players under them. This is analogous to building an expensive bridge for one time use. We understand some people may not be happy about this but for progress to occur, sometimes, hard decisions have to be made and one has been made. Unacceptable - anyone with at least some industry knowledge & experience will agree. This is an unprofessional business move, full stop - not just that, it is also theft.
