781  Economy / Speculation / Re: Incredible surge happening on BTCE today on: August 03, 2015, 04:56:01 PM

When BTC-e really wants to have a surge we'll be up over the rest of the exchanges prices.  I looked back on bitcoinwisdom and cant see evidence of this atm, the volume has picked up a little though.
782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've been scammed 5.5BTC. What will you do when your Bitcoin get scammed? on: August 03, 2015, 01:50:00 PM
Hello buddies,

It would be sad story if our bitcoin get scammed.  Cry

But it does happen from time to times, as we are all human beings, we are kind of greedy, we all want more bitcoins, and we all want the bitcoin in our wallet growing and growing ...

Then, we may get scammed by some online games, get scammed by gambling, get scammed by some investment programs, get scammed by ponzi schemes...etc., we send them our bitcoin base on their promising promises, but after the payment we'll never get their delivery as return ...  and we may even get scammed by our best friends as well ...

I've been scammed by a ponzi program called Rockwell Partner, I was scammed 5.5 BTC there.
I could do nothing expect shouting everywhere it was a scammer.

What did you do to fight against the scammers when your bitcoin was scammed?

Sorry for lose.  I got scammed by gox for a decent chunk of bitcoin so i know how it feels.  I will say i took into account my money was at high risk though i just thought it would be OK with the information i knew at the time.  Obviously i couldn't have been further wrong.  Now im way more careful.

fortunately I was in autobet and away from the computer, here I could lose a lot 'of bitcoin: D

Next time set your bets to rolls over 90 and you'll be fine.  Good job you weren't rolling for higher amounts of coin but 8 satoshi in the future will be 8 bucks a pop remember. Grin

785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All the bubbles were fake? on: August 03, 2015, 01:25:10 PM

If all the bubbles were "fake" the price would be dead a long time ago.  The fact you can pump/manipulate the bitcoin is another part of its value in a sense.
786  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Future of BTC Poker on: August 03, 2015, 01:23:31 PM
Most likely they do not want to deal with bitcoin or a skin would have been made already. Must be protecting what they have from all being taken out in a sweep the rug movement.

Things keep going this rate poker online will die a slow death.

I'm sorry what are you saying?
I was not suggesting that Ipoker would "adopt" btc poker rooms. I don't even think that works that way. I was saying that betcoing.ag, swc, luckyflop, etc etc, and all those small btc poker rooms could create a common poker network like Ipoker, so all the few players they have would then become a "decent" number of players, and we would all win with that.

I suspect most of the players playing on betcoin.ag, swc, luckyflop etc.....etc.......are all the same group of players.

In other words, if you see 200 players on betcoin, 200 on swc, and 200 on luckyflop........dont be mistaken thinking there are 600 unique people playing btc poker.  More likely its the same core group of 200 playing with an account on each site.

Yeah no doubt this is true to a certain extent, decent players have to multi table to earn more.  Its probably more a ratio like 50-60% though as each site will bring in its own players.
787  Economy / Gambling / Re: CHELSEA VS ARSENAL???????? on: August 03, 2015, 09:32:15 AM
Chelsea doesn't look good at all. They have played 4 pre-season games so far, and none of them Chelsea can win in regulation time.

Yeah and falcao may have got a hair cut but it looks like hes the same and passed his best, hes over powered by premier league centre backs and looks like bambi on the pitch, really strange how quick hes gone down hill.

Mourinho did mention he can make Falcao score and reach his level again last week. I hope he is still confident now.
Otherwise, Chelsea will have to rely on Costa heavily this season.

Yeah he would say this though, he has to to give him a chance.  Falcao's old level was the best striker in the world and scoring every game, good luck with that.

Dam was just about to watch this game but hit a spoiler and i now know arsenal win.  They will be a good bet for the prem this time around very strong team.

Good bet for which side?

Chelsea didn't really care about the results for this match. I expect them to dominate Arsenal during the premier league.

Arsenal i think are looking stronger than before, Chelsea dont seem to have evolved much and if they have problems with diego costa that might cost them competiting for the league.  Man united and man city could perform quite randomly.  Arsenal for the title.

If/when Pokerstars accepts BTC deposits with low/zero fees it will be great for BTC.

Everytime you deposit there now you pay ~3% in fees.

That is not really the problem. Neteller already accepts btc, so you can deposit anywhere with btc. And there are already many poker rooms that accept btc deposits, some of them in the Ipoker network. They don't have tables, or let you have a balance in btc, but I don't think they will do it (actually if they do that would be for btc, but it would be the end for these small rooms lol). They would do it if they thought they were losing some clients to btc poker rooms, but they wont lose clients because you cant play poker for real in btc poker rooms because of the number of players.

So yes we can talk to people and try to make them experience btc poker rooms, but we can't get them to stay without the number of players they need to play the way they like. And that can only be achieved if the btc rooms unite in the same network (that was the main reason why Ipoker was created, because that was the only way to get players from pokerstars etc. It's really just a matter of copying a success story lol).

AFAIK Neteller is about to change the BTC deposit fee to 5%, if you deposit through Neteller on Pokerstars you lose another 3%, 8% for depositing? Hell no.

Also the daily limit is like $375 at this moment, some high stakes players need to deposit/withdraw thousands to hundreds of thousands.

About a year ago I read on twoplustwo that Pokerstars was testing stuff to add BTC deposits etc. Maybe with them being sold to a gambling corporation is the reason why they still not accept it.

Pokerstars is the biggest poker site with the biggest volume, biggest tournaments etc. Them accepting BTC would be huge.

Didn't know about that, I have been depositing a lot recently through neteller. Any reason for them to change the fees ? as they actually have no fees on their ends .

It doesnt happen until september when neteller will start raping people i think.  Best thing would be pokerstars to take bitcoin direct then we can cut out neteller.  It does suck though ive used and like neteller in the past.
793  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can bitcoin casino go bankrupt? on: August 02, 2015, 09:22:25 PM
Hi,

I was always told that regular casino games are rigged so that the casino never loses money.
If the bitcoin casinos are using real random number generation then it is possible for them to
actually go bankrupt no?

Thanks.

Its possible if a very higher roller bets big and the casino gets very unlucky they could go broke.  Most casinos limit the maximum bet to make it mathmaticaly very hard for this to happen.
794  Other / Politics & Society / Re: WW3 is only a matter of time. on: August 02, 2015, 08:59:56 AM
We read it in the news every day.

The world is about due for another war Worldwide. Populations have exploded and Mankind are stepping on each others toes. China is Claiming rights to the Spratly Islands and just about everything near it. The U.S. is still doing battle in Afghanistan,Iraq,Syria. Russia is testing the Limits of All of Europe and it's neighbors Doing Flyovers with Bombers almost everywhere.  The stories are endless and so are the countries ever growing as they get involved.

Is this the fate of Mankind? Is this the way to control the problem of over population?

This is not just a chance of WW3 anymore this is only a Question of when.

I feel like while the super elites have control if we do get a war it will be controlled to where all out chaos and death of the whole of humanity doesn't happen.  Part of me finds it interesting to see what might happen.
795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "We learned that Mark only had one bank account, shared with Mt.Gox's customers" on: August 02, 2015, 08:54:37 AM

Mark probably still blames bitcoin as his lawyers tell him its the right thing to do.  Hopefully we see some justice in all this beyond just a part of the 200k coins coming back to us.
796  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Future of BTC Poker on: August 02, 2015, 08:52:33 AM
Hello, I really enjoy playing poker and after seeing so many rooms "ban" players from some countries etc I decided to try btc poker, the problem is that there aren't many players out there yet. I'm playing on betcoing.ag for now, and it's good compared to the others I tried, but I still can't play in a lot of tables at the same time, and to do that I have to enter in tables with different blinds which can "ruin" a session, and even like that, depending on the time of the day, sometimes I can't play even at 3 tables on the same time.

So my question is:

Why don't btc poker rooms create a poker network like Ipoker?

They would still have their clients and separate accounts etc, but players would all play on the same network. That would really help the btc poker community and it would be good for casinos to, because more players would probably make the change, like I'm trying to do.

I mean if that works for big poker rooms, why can't work for btc poker? I really don't get it.

Creating a network like ipoker could be a great idea, someone will have to be the master at the top though who decides who gets in and who doesn't.  It will create a monopoly in BTC poker for the time being.  It would be nice if the other sites like stars just started accepting BTC its probably only due to USA market they dont.

Lets just hope it doesn't tie up and go to penalties as we all know england cant beat anyone at penalties....  Even cricket style penalties against austrailia we'd lose.

800  Other / Off-topic / How to get traffic to online shop in 2015? on: July 30, 2015, 08:07:22 PM
So i just set up a clothing site, how do i get traffic in 2015?

Last time i needed to get traffic for a site was back in 2007 and i just spammed all over youtube, it worked pretty good actually lol.... im assuming doing that in 2015 is a bad idea or not?

What strategies can i do? really clueless here... i come up with ideas like just replying to potential customers on twitter, this might be a little lame, i really dont know.

Should i just buy google adwords credits?
