783  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P SCAMMER. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: January 07, 2016, 04:41:43 PM
I didn't read all of the thread, just sometimes read the last few pages.

Anyways, fwiw, I bought a coin from MasterP in April (i dismissed the details and destroyed the boxing) but I do distinctly remember it being sent from Canada.

I also bought 2 bitcoin from him in September and paid to a Canadian interac email account.
784  Economy / Reputation / Re: Skype hacked -- DO NOT TALK TO ME ON SKYPE on: January 07, 2016, 12:20:36 AM
I made a duplicate thread in Scam Accusations just to get it more exposure (noone really checks reputation board that much).

Should we be deleting posts that could potentially stop someone from getting scammed?
785  Economy / Reputation / Skype hacked -- DO NOT TALK TO ME ON SKYPE on: January 06, 2016, 11:40:37 PM

I'm requesting Default trust members to temporarily give me red trust with the caption Skype account (dogedigital) compromised -- Do not trade with on Skype

789  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Looking to purchase a dark green trust legendary member account. on: January 02, 2016, 05:42:52 PM
Users take out loans against their accounts all the time here and when those loans are defaulted on, the lenders take those accounts and sell them to cover their losses. Not everyone who purchases an account is out to scam people. I have purchased accounts purely for future advertising purposes and to help lenders recoup their losses, nothing more. I also run contests, and purchase from users in the marketplace on a regular basis and TRY to do as much good as I can in the forum community. But Sellers of accounts should never sell to someone who is a known scammer either. Just my opinion!

We understand that but the OP needs a Hero with green trusts, WHY? it does seem really suspicious. he could have just ask for a Hero without the green trusts.

I hear what you're saying, my reply was simply to you saying  "name ONE good example", just saying that not ALL people who buy an account are out to scam. Not vouching for the this particular buyer requesting a green trust account. HAPPY NEW YEAR everybody!

But in your particular case, your account is pretty transparent with people knowing that trust given before a certain date do not properly belong to you whereas OP is trying to pass it off like all previous trust is.
790  Economy / Gambling / Re: Simple Crypto Gaming. Simple cryptographic gambling for easy money! [free bits!] on: January 02, 2016, 03:52:13 PM
There's a difference between having possession of the coins (which app owners do not) and having access to it through interactions.

When one makes a deposit from Moneypot to an app page, the coins are still on Moneypot's side.  They are not in the App owner's hands.  In this sense, they are not able to simply *steal* the funds that are deposited.

This however, does not mean that you only have to trust MoneyPot.  This warning is in effect, because there are actions that can be made on the app owners side that can be used to ultimately move these funds to their side through malicious or deceptive coding.  In this sense, they could move your funds from the app page into their own hands.  This of course would lead to blacklisting and we'd do all we could to stop them from moving the coins out but there is always the risk that it could happen.

This is why I believe it is best to only deposit into an app what you plan to directly play with and then once finished to always cash out back to the MoneyPot side.
791  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: MINECRAFT BITCOIN CASINO - PARTNERSHIP on: December 30, 2015, 10:05:12 PM
There's a very high chance that this is a scam.

When asked, OP has no knowledge of provable fairness and/or anything really at all relating to a casino.

OP only kept pointing to his website which only boasts pictures of Ollan Island in Minecraft and brief player descriptions of casino games.

He claims that he is the owner and part programmer (the rest of the programmers are his friends whom 'you can totally trust') but knows nothing about hashes or Bitcoin nodes.

I should have been tipped off right away when the first PM's and skype conversation started with "How much bitcoin can you give me", "check our website, you can trust us bro", and "casinos only make money".

Oh and when asked what his income model was, he got offended and couldn't answer (which is a red flag seeing how having a good one is the only way you'd ever try and make your product/service a sell to a potential investor).
792  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker videos and literature on: December 30, 2015, 08:13:45 PM
Glad to hear you're accepting Bitcoin.

As for video content and quality, I think i'll wait a bit more before viewing any.

I'm not sure how much you guys review your videos, but the first video I opened was Kuhn89's PLO video.  Right away he flatted a 3-bet out of the small blind with UTG raiser still to act with AKT2 (Huh?).  There wasn't really any strategic information contained in the video either from what I watched.  He talked about position slightly (which countered his very first hand) and bankroll management (while still choosing to run it twice).

I just think these are the type of videos that are counter productive to actually learning proper strategy and playing optimally.

Buying accounts are not against the rules.

I believe buying trust is.

Is it specific to Sharpdice?  Have you tried accessing another Moneypot site and had success?

Also please look into getting an SSL certificate so MoneyPot can verify your domain.

Free SSL can be had here (https://letsencrypt.org/)

Unfortunately, that Is not the case. You will be betting less and getting less back. If you lose 99 on a draw and then bet 1 on a redraw, it is as if you forefited the 99 bits as a 'stand'.

Thanks for pointing that out! I will contact my dev team to look into this.

In your case, if you win, you will get 1 back, with a net win of 0.

Hmm I see. In that case, I would suggest you to clarify in the OP and also on your game page that the "redraw" bet should be >= the "draw" bet. Good luck to your new site. Smiley
Thank You!

Smiley

Nice site. Smiley

It might make sense to put a brief description on the site.  A '?' box that pops up might work if you're looking to keep a minimal design.

Also, just to be clear, a 'redraw' is just a 3:1 bet that the next card is a spade and that the ace of spade only returns the same as any other spade?

MoneyPot also handles the faucet.  All you need to do is register a Google captcha and initiate the captcha secret on the owner page.
797  Economy / Gambling / Re: Simple Crypto Gaming. Simple cryptographic gambling for easy money! on: December 30, 2015, 05:20:25 PM
JPR, that is not at all what the message implies.

App Owners DO NOT have the ability to steal your coins once deposited.

Furthermore, they DO NOT have any possession at all to coins that are deposited.

The warning has more to do with the fact that MoneyPot is not responsible for actions placed within the site itself.  Moneypot can not control which actions are placed or verify that the site will do what they state they are going to do.

As for ownership of the funds themselves, they will always be on MoneyPot side.  Even if the site disappears, you are still able to withdraw your coins back to Moneypot through their app page in MoneyPot.

With the limited time super low house edge on most bets, this promotion allows for +EV betting Smiley.

Take advantage!

Version 1.0 is on its last days.

To celebrate a new chapter, I'll be doing mimicking freerolls of average bets placed for users actively playing.

Example:  If you bet 100 bits at >50 multiple times, I will bet 100 bits at >50 as well and if you win, I will transfer the winnings to your account.

Good luck all Cheesy
800  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P POSSIBLE SCAM. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: December 29, 2015, 04:53:47 PM
This might help matters a bit.

*The real master P*, if you are the real masterp can you please PM me the email account that is connected to your bank account that I sent money to for the transaction that took place here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1180592)?

Edit; An email from that address might actually be better sent to dogedigital@gmail.com as I don't believe masterp's email address has been compromised.

If his computer was in fact compromised, this wont tell us anything.

What about showing the transaction from the online banking for this transaction?  I don't imagine his banking account would be compromised and the real masterp should only have access to it.
