781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 26, 2023, 05:55:38 PM
The issue between Sancho and Erik ten Hag is some how getting out of hand because I don't understand why a manager would let this happen up till this very moment. The player in question said he trains very well and the manager is saying otherwise and from what have seen, is like the manager doesn't like the player Sancho and is like Erik ten Hag prefer Antony to Sancho.
With this issue at hand is it right for Sancho to apologize?Because to me I don't see Sancho being at fault here, the best thing is to resolve the issue behind close door, fine Sancho hasn't been in his best form but as a manager you have to take any actions you feel is right on any player who has messed and let it end there and not by suspending the player
or even preventing him from associating with his team mates. I don't think Erik ten Hag is right on this one.

This is another problem I think is holding Manchester United from doing well and if Erik ten Hag doesn't clean up this mess between him and Sancho I think is going to affect the performance of the club. With the way Manchester United are playing I just see some players acting up and I don't wish for the manager to be sacked or anything but eyes are now on him not in a positive way but in a negative way. Knowing Manchester as a club that have great players, the likes of Paul Scholes, Ferdinand and the rest of them, they'll all be questioning the decisions of the manager which is not cool, we all know how they do things, is best they are on his side than against him. So I think if Erik ten Hag and Sancho are in good condition I feel the Manchester United style of play will change for good.
Erik ten Hag is never bad as a manager or he was never bad. Last season we saw Manchester United finish in the top 6 of the points table.

Last season, where they performed well for the entire season and ended the 2022-23 season at the sixth position, I hope that the team did not forget their performance in the 2023-24 season. Everyone can blame the manager for the team's poor performance but this manager has done well with this team in the last season so there is no room to blame the manager here.

As a professional manager, you don't need to point fingers when a player lets the team down except when it is obvious on the pitch that everyone has already seen, Maguire came to my mind and that is why they have benched the ass out of him and always cover up when fingers are pointed towards him, but Erik doesn't want to accept his own mistake, he thinks the players are always his problems, maybe he forgot that proper management is key in guiding players to win a match.

Another problem is misunderstanding with players, there was a time like this when he suspended Rashford for sleeping off and couldn't attended a meeting, that was the excuse I saw online but Erik took things personal anytime players don't met his expectations, he frustrated the playing style of Ronaldo until he left the club and now, there is a new battle of him and Sancho and he has suspended him from all the facilities in the Manchester United, he need to calm down and build a strong relationship to win Premier League and the Champions League otherwise they will only sink like Chelsea.

Quote
The planning that Manchester United did last season may not be working this season due to which they are losing one game after another but they still have time to change their plans and they have enough time to get back to a good place in the English Premier League so that's all about this team.

They said De Gea was the problem but so far, Onana is even the worse, they should try and work him to be the best they wanted. If it was De Gea they desperately wanted him to live, Manchester United would not be in this condition, worst case is 6 place in the ranking but it seems Onana has created more jokes than his performance since his debut in the club, there is more needed from this club to come out brighter.
782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have any DCA plan on casino on: September 26, 2023, 05:35:34 PM
It's a shame that I missed the Rollbit token pump, I would have made a lot of money from this token, but I failed to DCA because we are still at the peak of the bear market, my mind was set on after the halving, before I can start buying some more risky assets like casino tokens, I guess I was wrong.

Now I will like to know any not too old casino that's yet to launch their tokens yet, I think the Rollbit team did very well by handling their tokens with good utility for the holders and investors, what will be the next good casino token?

Is there any reputable casino that have plans to release a token? Which is your favorite casino token that you are looking forward to DCA few $$$the into? Do not advise me about how risky they can be, I understand the risk and I am willing to accept any losses.

I have never been a fan of altcoins talk more of casino tokens, no shade but it doesn't change anything because 50% has been lost from the all time high it was traded and right now, no good exchange listed it despite all the fugazi pump, in addition to that the token is been traded on Ethereum chain which means people with low available funds will end up wasting all their resources into gas fee. I will say people who risked it were lucky but on neutral ground many will have ignored it because it was a token meant for benefit in the casino, it is not known outside the exchange, it was when the pump started other traders rushed in and you know what happen when whales decide to play with the rest of the traders, there is going to be a nice ride of tides in candles.

I wouldn't say people should not go for casino tokens but in every 10 casino tokens that you see on the market, 9 of them will fail and only 1 will succeed, if we go buy example, rollbit is the only successful token that has proven that. However, there were also speculations about the token after they changed the smart contract of RLB, so many people couldn't convert their RLB from the first smart contract to the new contract and that is why the pump was so easy because many couldn't sell, they are speculations and Im not sure if that is valid actually.
783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: September 26, 2023, 05:01:58 PM

Real Madrid certainly has the ambition to secure full points again after losing to Atletico Madrid, Los Blancos efforts to cut points with Barcelona at the top of the standings received a serious challenge from Girona in the eighth week. Yes, Madrid will face Las Palmas in the sixth week first, I think Ancelotti squad can handle it well. It doesn't look like a draw will happen, because Las Palmas is in a bad trend and has only won one win so far.

As one of the clubs that has an impressive record this season in La Liga, Girona journey has not been tested by a stronger squad such as Barcelona, Madrid or Atletico. Ancelotti squad has the opportunity to break Girona positive trend, currently their statistics are almost the same as Barcelona. However, the seventh week match will determine Madrid and Girona steps first, before their meeting takes place on September 30.
Realmadrid are 3rd on the Laliga table, with just a point behind the league leaders, so it would be very easy for them to top the league again if Barcelona carelessly drop any point, and for that to happen they don't have to drop points as well and I believe the game against Las Palmas would be very easy for them based on Las Palmas current form, they are currently 15th on the table and  won only 1 match which was their last match against Granada another weaker team who are in the relegation zone, the rest are 2 draws and 3 losse out of 6 matches.

The season is only 6 weeks gone, it is still fresh to say that there is a leader but the earlier each team gives a big gap, the better for them in the long run because like Real Madrid and Barcelona, I can't call Barcelona great because they preceded Real Madrid with just a single point, not on my record but if we progress to halfway of the league, I might begin to worry but this is nothing as far as there is more weeks round of matches to play.

From Getafe to Almeria, there is going to be a lot of drama from the teams in between the two I just mentioned, none of them has lost less than 3 matches and 5/6 matches have been played, and out of all of them that are underperforming, only Sevilla is registered in the Champions League, they don't have a lot of tasks to make them weaker in this league but they are yet to peak up in their matches, I'm not sure what to call it but this season is a poor beginning in Laliga.

Quote
Realmadrid had an embarrassing defeat against one of their rivals Atletico Madrid and I think Las Palmas are going to secure dearly for their defeat because Madrid are going to be ruthless in grabbing the 3points especially when they're playing against smaller teams like Las Palmas, and the fact that they're playing at home gives them a major advantage.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by embarrassing but it's normal to lose the match and checking their last 5 matches prior to this one, Atletico Madrid has only won 1 match against Real Madrid, drew 1 and lost 3, which means Real Madrid has won them trice, this one they lost is not bad considering that league is just starting, if they won it, it will be an added advantage to get lead in the table but did have been done, we must move forward just the way Alaba said, they let the fans down but we have more task ahead and that is their responsibility to bring championship to Madrid.
784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: September 25, 2023, 09:44:16 PM
I think casino games are 100% dependent on luck. But betting on sports organizations is based on analysis of current data. Therefore, betting on sports organizations is based on knowledge rather than luck. I bet on sports organizations because I don't trust my luck too much. However, I can't say that I always win. Because I always feel that I need a little bit of luck. Sometimes I get lucky and win, sometimes I get unlucky and lose, but I find it more consistent to bet on sporting events.

We should be realistic. When there's a house edge, no one can win consistently using their skills, or at least they will lose in the long run. That's why games are divided into luck-based and skill-based categories. If your game belongs to the luck-based type, it's pretty obvious that you can only win when you are lucky.

The question is, will you risk gambling if that's your only chance? You know, casinos or the house do not rely on luck; they rely on their advantage.

The company aren't fooled to designed a fully functional casino that will continue to allow players to win, they have to lose so that the house will keep running the company, and even before public lunch, this thing is run and tested many times before are been rollout for real business but the advantage of it is that when wager at the right time and it flip to your favour, you will appreciate gambling for real and if it happen that you wager a reasonable amount of money, you will work home with a fortune but I don't think sports betting works like that they are always based of the statistics and available analysis.

In sports betting, if you don't have the skill to analyse and use the available information to bet, you will lose everything before even starting the gambling journey, that is just the plain truth about sports betting. Better to use your skills to make decisions that you know can give you good results, you will likely win before someone that is betting based on luck, they will not even win anything at all if we are been frank.
785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When Gamblers Fail to Read a Casino's Terms and Conditions on: September 25, 2023, 09:30:12 PM
I have read a lot of gambling threads both here on the forum and in other forums. This makes me to draw the conclusion that most gamblers are either too lazy to read the Terms and Conditions (T&C,)or they don't just care about it. The results of which leads to misunderstandings and frustrations, often resulting in negative reviews and complaints that may not accurately represent the casino's practices. It is too bad. I have noticed that when gamblers don't read the T&S of a casino, they :

Anyone familiar with the forum reputation board will understand the benefit of this your thread, many reports have been opened on that board and when you trace the genesis of their problems, it's always because they failed to do the basics, they don't read even the necessary terms and condition, all they do is to accept any conditional warning that appear on their screen without even understanding the message they are trying to pass to them, it's annoying with those pop up notification but it is better to always read them than cry after a casino later.

There are even many instances where casinos send emails and SMS to players if there is a revise in their terms and conditions just so that the customers should know the changes that have occurred in the casino but many are so guilty of trashing it into the dust bin, they don't read them because they see it as a normal message. The only time you see gamblers run to read about those instructions is when they see that there are warnings of withdrawal from their accounts, we should learn to practice reading T&C, not just from casinos even in other legal policies as well.
786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 25, 2023, 09:07:34 PM
Yes 8 different people made this goal new history. But I'm surprised with Sheffield United they are very bad. Kieran Trippier who became the best player he gave three passes that became goals. Newcastle's performance was actually not very good at the beginning of this season. They didn't get much spending funds, so no star players came. This result can certainly make them more confident playing in UCL. After the draw with Milan they will play against PSG.
I think it was a major blow for Sheffield this season and I believe Newcastle's winning record of scoring 8 goals will be very difficult for other teams including Manchester City to break throughout this season. I agree Newcastle will be very motivated from that win, but they have a game against Manchester City for the EFL Cup before the end of the month.

I feel pity for Sheffield, Burnley and Luton Town because I don't understand how they are going to make it out of relegation this season in the Premier League, the three teams have only drawn 1 match out of all the rounds they have played and it's astonishing how the 3 of them top the Championship that made it to the Premier League, I don't think the teams have matured players that can manipulate their ways out of the already established teams here, 8 conceded goals is total discouragement to watch their next match except they have a fixture against the club I love to watch, Newcastle did a nice Christmas with them, I'm not sure how Manchester City is going to deal with these teams.  Grin

So far Newcastle have taken 10 points, but I believe they will probably not repeat the same form as last season by ending the season in the Champions League zone. Many people have doubts about Newcastle, but if they can improve their quality then of course Newcastle can compete for that too.

Whenever you tell people that Haaland has turned the Premier League into the Farmers League, they get upset over a little joke but that is the truth. I don't see any team in that League that has shown any interest in dragging the title with Manchester City, only Liverpool is showing some great results but even with that, it is too early to give much credit, only long term results will determine if they can contest with Manchester City or not, Arsenal is gradually fading out unlike the last season they were hunting Guardiolla back to back.
787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 25, 2023, 08:44:42 PM
There will be a big match for week 2 between Napoli vs Real Madrid and both teams has been met on 2017 twice at that time Real Madrid can win all of the matches and after Spaletti left Napoli still unable to find their shape because in Serie A they still unable to wins 3 times streak and in champion league too Napoli only win with narrow scores against weak team Braga and if we compared to the conditions between these teams i think Real Madrid clearly better than Napoli although they just lose last week from Atletico Madrid but basically Real Madrid performance is more stable than Napoli and regarding this match although Napoli will playing at their home ground but i feel like Real Madrid will be the winner of this match
Before the Napoli vs Real Madrid match takes place, Real Madrid has two La Liga matches scheduled against Las Palmas and Girona. I don't think Real Madrid will have any trouble winning both games, but Ancelotti will likely have to be able to rotate players enough to not get tired against Napoli.

If there is any match that makes me inconvenient this season is that match between Napoli and Real Madrid, I can't stand to watch my homeboy play against my club and now the boy has much determination, and seeing that Real Madrid has always been a record breaker of the Champions League, he will come with a full force to score a goal and win at least a match against Real Madrid in the group stage, he was fuming yesterday for been subbed off in their domestic league, he wants to score goals and that's I fear about him right now, however, I'm still sure that we will exit this group to the next 16 rounds.

Quote
It is very likely that Real Madrid will again get the services of Vinicius in this tough match so it can be hoped that this will improve their attacking game. Napoli are playing at home and might be able to make things difficult for Real Madrid, but things will be different considering the big match is still quite far away. In the last match Real Madrid had difficulty beating Union Berlin, so that might affect their probability of winning against Napoli.

Vinicius didn't show up in their last Laliga match against Atletico Madrid which is likely because of the injury but I'm confident that Ancelotti will make him get some rest while preparing for the Champions League, Girona and Las Palmas wouldn't be a problem for the available players to destroy. Deep down, I want to see how Vinicius and Bellingham are going to play along with Osimhen and Khvicha and it's even likely for Real Madrid to beat Napoli blue black because currently, they are not well in form, I don't think they can do well in the Champions League.
788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: September 25, 2023, 08:12:04 PM

You are right, watching Real Madrid's games shows that Real Madrid lacks good strikers. Although Real Madrid started in a good position this season, now day by day Real Madrid's position is going down. A few days ago, it was seen that Real Madrid was in the number one position with the highest points in the La Liga points table. But Real Madrid has lost two consecutive matches and has now moved to the 3rd place in the La Liga points table. Now, if the coach of Real Madrid can't solve the striker problem quickly, maybe slowly, slowly, Real Madrid will take a position at the bottom of the La Liga points table.
There are many luck factors that play an important role in Real Madrid's winning streak in the previous 5 matches in La Liga. But they really proved to be failures when they met a team that was more solid in terms of play and quality of players.

If there are any luck factors, it would be better you name them so that others will understand the sentiments and how to counter the attack just like the way I'm doing right now, there is no factor than the good midfield that we have right now and that is what has helped Real Madrid over the past 5 matches they played and guess what Ancelotti said after the game, he said he was responsible for the failure for conceding 3 goals from Atletico Madrid which is a normal thing to me as a professional manager, he should have allowed Bellingham stay at the centre midfield instead of left-wing position, also Vinicius is also not fully recover.

Quote
Most people were worried about Real Madrid's defeat yesterday, but their fans' optimism about winning considering their positive results so far was apparently stopped by Atletico Madrid. Ancelotti doesn't need to blame himself for the defeat, but I hope he is brave enough to blame Perez for his selfishness in not bringing in a quality striker during the transfer window. I hope Barcelona can take advantage of any weaknesses Real Madrid has this season to gain points and lead the standings until the end of the season.

I don't think winning is a roller coaster thing to celebrate too soon, it is Real Madrid's turn to lose after winning 5 matches, and a time will come when Barcelona will be casted and blame Xavi for being unfortunate, it's a natural thing for fans to get upset but if you are been reasonable, you will understand better how football works, you can't win every time but a team is supposed to bounce quickly after disappointing the fans, it will quickly make them forget the mistakes they have done in the previous matches. For Real Madrid, they still have lots of energy to prove that this season belongs to them.
789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: September 24, 2023, 09:40:50 PM
In my opinion making cash from gambling is not a good option and the statistical probability that you will win every game at every casino is very low. I think winning or losing every game is completely in your head, so your individual tricks are not there. However, we all have some kind of luck so we should strive for what is possible for us.

If you are gambling to make money, then you are simply broke and looking for a way to use gambling as a means to make money, doing that alone with the emotional financial imbalance can make you do wrong choice in selection and playing, instead of you to apply skill to win, you will b judgemental about your decisions and that's why it's neve good to think that gambling is the best way to make cash at hand.

Secondly, it's your head that gives you good choice of selection, luck is there no doubt, but the beginning of your luck start from what comes out from your head. If your head pick wrong option, you will lose and continue to lose but when you choose with your head and it comes out fine, that's when you can call it luck because using your head to determine what you don't know but have it the way of your expectations is really great, if your head is not good or has zero knowledge about it, you will lose more instead of making more.
790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 24, 2023, 06:37:26 PM
Liverpool continued their winning streak.Liverpool defeated their strong rival West Ham 3-1 at home and increased their points to 16 and continued to follow Manchester City. They took the lead with Mohamed Salah's penalty goal in the early minutes, but Bowen equalized towards the end of the first half.Liverpool increased the pressure in the second half and won with 2 more goals.
In the most important match of the day, there was a goal draw.Arsenal hosted Totthenham at home.4 goals were scored in the match in which Son scored 2 goals and 3 of these 4 goals were scored by Totthenham players. Both teams tried to win but could not win.

If you are not in another league competing, your domestic league should not be a hard task to accomplish, Liverpool has demonstrated that and have deliver, they are the closet team to Manchester City with 2 points differences, but have conceded more which is fair in my on line of judgement. I can for sure say that in the next round of matches, Liverpool will have another 3 cool points after they win Leicester City in the next match but for Manchester City is full of doubt because De Bruyne is gone for Injury holidays and Rodri red card has been decided untill next 3 matches, and that's the main defenders of the team, Wolves might give them heart attack in their next match.

Who will have thought of Tottenham spur will keep up with what Arsenal prepare, I was really surprised as Son opened goal in the match against Arsenal and now they have both become equal in points. Though, don't like how Arsenal has played too much to sit at 6th place, they need ginger and also need to spice up their matches, giving Manchester City 4 is not a good thing, those guys might continue in that momentum until they become unreachable, 18 points from 6 games and 6 wins is really crazy.
791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: September 24, 2023, 05:57:27 PM
In the Europa league so far Liverpool stand as the most stable, consistent and with the almost best of form as they have maintained a clean record from the qualifier up until now. Amongst all the teams in the Europa this season I see them to be the best contender for the league title, although other in the likes of Brighton and others are also doing their best but they are not as good as Liverpool.

You are giving too much credit to Liverpool, I’m not sure why you say they are the most stable but if it was because of the comeback goals they made in the second half, I will say that I'm not impress because who is LASK Linz in the eye of Liverpool, they would have trash them in minutes of the first half but they used that to test LASK defense and work out their chances and took it in the second half until they lead with 3 goals. However, Leverkusen are the one that impress me so far since they finished groups round 1 with 4 goals lead over BK Haken.

Quote
I think this is more like the surest bet for a trophy this season for Liverpool is the can maintain their present form through the league they might be the champions this season. They just need to put in some more efforts and stay consistent with wining and staying at the top of the league table, that way they will stand better chances of winning the league title as compared to others.

This would be the forth time Liverpool will be winning the Europa league title that is if they are able to finally win the league title. I'm trying to think of a team that will be a tough one on Liverpool in the Europa league game but I seem to be finding it difficult as I am yet to see any who really matches Liverpool going my recent records and performance at their respective local leagues

I will still repeat it again, you are given too much hope for Liverpool, didn't Manchester United and Barcelona all here last season, did they made it to final match, I think you understood better because the recent record of Europa League favours more of underrated team in the league. I haven't seen more team that have impressed me like Leverkusen, they were here until the Semi finals before union Berlin took them out and now they are here again, don't be surprised if they make this season personal for the title because thats another tickets for free group in the Champions League next season.
792  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My decision on bitcoin on: September 21, 2023, 05:42:52 PM
I recently created a post asking if I should buy bitcoin now or wait for the dip, and majority of the response I got from the post, advised that I should buy now rather than waiting for the dip due to its volatile nature, and I'm satisfied with this response and I'm willing to bear the risk.
Reason for all these questioning, I have a dream of becoming a long term bitcoin holder but, dreams aren't achieved with words alone, an action is needed for the start up, so I have decided to sell one of my less used phone for the purpose of buying bitcoin.
I'm really eager to purchase my first bitcoin in satoshi.

You can't buy a full bitcoin if you are not gallantly flamboyant with financial status, that's why you will be limited to only Satoshi but buying Satoshi doesn't mean you are not a big, a long mile start from somewhere, you don't have to wait for the price to go dip, there are days it goes down unexpected but you may not have funds available that time, so it's better you do dollar cost average and hold till the next halving, you will make good profits if you have the patience.
793  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Marry a Coin/Project - Practically Example on: September 21, 2023, 03:06:59 PM
~snip~
These kind of acts do really shows that people are really that greedy! We are hoping for more and despite of saying that we do support the project but its impossible to deny that making profit
is what we are really that mainly aiming which its normal. It is really just that people do make out different decisions on a particular time or condition which neither it could be considered
to be a good or bad hit or such action.

You have a point there, many people are holding junk altcoins, and they always say they are supporting the project, but the truth behind it is that they have become too greedy and are paying a pretty heavy price and becoming reluctant holders. Indeed, other than those who are embracing bitcoin as a currency, no one in this market is kind enough to say they are supporting the project. We all have a single goal of making as much profit as possible, we have never intended to support any project. I would be suspicious if someone said they don't care about profits and just want to support the project. Because we all know that this is a financial market and there will be winners and losers.

Euphoria stage is one of the most difficult stage of a holder, the most difficult stage to determine when to sell but they get too much excitement and forget that excitements of the market isn't a forever thing to do, I can hold Bitcoin for long term even if when the market is crashing, it will not bother me but I can't do the same with altcoins, I'm sorry and not offend the altcoin guys but I will never hold any altcoins, the fastest way to make money in crypto with small capital are through altcoins and the fastest way to go broke in crypto is through altcoins too, so it's either you go bitcoin with less risk or go altcoins and get squeeze.

I have never been a fan and I wouldn't discourage, the market is highly saturated with shitcoins and that's why many of them keep coming here but if you check the number of people that make it through altcoins at few, it doesn't worth it but when you try to tell them, they will say haters must hate but no problem about that, we are here to observe another run after halving, they would be suprise that many of these altcoins will not make any run again.
794  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does monitor size affect trading? on: September 21, 2023, 02:46:39 PM
It is not a larger screen, but rather several screens where you can track several information at the same time. It is more like a map that you need to see from several perspectives to get a better understanding.
this type of trading requires experienced traders and not beginners who are trying to learn how trading can be done.
It is for professional and experienced traders who know exactly what they are looking for. They don't let emotion affects their decisions like newbie traders and they focus on some indicators, information they see fit. Unlike newbie traders, who read many useless information, over attach many indicators on their charts that all together affect their thinking about the market and movement of a coin. With newbie traders, more screens, more emotion, more bad decisions.

I don't fancy TV screen of traders, most of them are doing show off with the blue and purple colours just to impress people that they are really making money mean while, they don't have anything to show in their portfolio at the very end of the day. Trading is not by big screen or curve monitor for impression, it is the amount of money you make at the end of the day that matters a lot. Imagine showing curvy big screen and then you have lots of losses on your trading history.

It's good to upgrade your trading desk but I think finding a way to win traded and master them should be utmost priority, if you learnt that quickly and master your own technics and skills, then designed and upgrade can follow because by then, money will be there to enjoy and the live the passionated life you always wanted.
795  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bots... do they work? on: September 20, 2023, 05:03:00 PM
While looking for shortcuts in all cases, I think we should never take shortcuts in trading. It is better to be as self-reliant as possible when it comes to trading. You need to be an experienced trader to operate a trading bot properly though. A new member will not be able to use the trading bot properly even if he wants to. There are financial risks in trading and if we use trading bots our financial risk will increase so it is better to avoid such trading system to avoid financial risk. In the case of trading, if we give ourselves time and try to learn about trading well, then we will know much better about trading. Whether we use trading bots or anything else, we need to be experienced in trading first, only then we can do well in trading.

If we want to say the truth to ourselves, the centralized exchanges especially Kucoin that provide bots services know very well that this is nothing but a scam but they will give customers false hope that they can do more with these exchanges and make more money but the truth is that they can't make anything from trading, instead of using trading bots, I will rather trade using support and resistance line than bots that will not yield anything after 30 days.

There was a review I watched on YouTube about these bots, they are profitable and there was a loss too and the total profits and losses were balanced down, the loss was more than the profits and that beat the objective of a real trader in my opinion, in the bull run they gain more profits than the loss.
796  Economy / Economics / Re: X (formerly Twitter) may be telling people like me to exit the platform on: September 20, 2023, 03:59:35 PM
I believe his style and excuses are not genuine as I wonder if his X is the only social media platform with fake accounts and bots, and has others started charging users for the fight other than from the revenue they generate from ads and other means. His arrogance has cost X a lot and might continue to do so.

As much as I respect the fact that Musk needs ways to monetize the microblogging app, there are some things I won't take. I won't pay for a service that others will offer similarly for free, not when I don't earn a penny from it.

If he makes his deed good, then someone like me will surely excuse myself no matter how little he charges.

My main reason is that I don't earn from the platform and have an alternative to what I get from it. Secondly, this will serve as a protest to dissuade other platform owners from following suit. If this is successful, I'm sure that with time, others will begin to make sure people pay for social media platforms.

What about you? Are you willing to pay for X?

A dead development on arrival, sometimes you need to calm down and enjoy what life brings to the table but I think Elon Musk is overdoing his ambition on Twitter, no doubt that he is trying to recoup the investment capital but charging people to use X is ridiculous and greed. If he plan to do that, he will not only lose the bot's activities but he will also lose ordinary users that do their comment and read their timeline, how can people be paying to verify the account and that is not enough, he can do better.  Undecided

A months now, bloggers and content creators have started to earn money from the platform and I believe nobody did or asked him to implement it, if he really cared about revenue that much, he shouldn't have implemented it in the first place because, with the amount he pay bi-weekly to users on that platform, if ordinary users are to minor fees, it will exceed what they will earn from the micro-blogging platform because I strongly believe that half of users live for alternative, Meta Thread platform is even waiting for him to make mistake in order to steal all his customers to the platform.
797  Economy / Economics / Re: Early Retirement [Pros and Cons] on: September 20, 2023, 03:45:15 PM
this story is the same as what my cousin experienced, he retired early (at the age of around 35 years) now he is around 45 years old but there is an illness he is suffering from and he has to get proper treatment which quite expensive, so he sold some of his valuables and also withdrew his investment in shares.

as long as you can still make money, don't even think about retiring early, I know early retirement is everyone's dream but who knows what will happen next, you have to maintain your grades and productivity so that you stay healthy and respected by people.

I think there is a lesson to be learned here from your cousin's early retirement!

I don't think it is a wise decision when your next plan is not feasible in the sense that it's on probability. Retirement is sweet when you have alternative to what you are currently doing if your investment has really matured to cover future expenditures and health insurance. You can't quit what you do for a living when your investment is yet to mature, its like taking risk when you know that the road is still blurry and to think his age, 35 is still very young to chase dreams and make more money.

I laughed hard when some people in the forum say they would retire if they made some amount of Bitcoin but it seems they forget that wealth accumulation is a continuous process, there is nothing really wrong in having more money if the source is not taking much of your time, the money coming from that place will help you cover some bills. Like your cousin, had it been he didn't quit that his job, who knows the money from his job would have helped me take care of his health and his investment would have continued to grow without touching it.
798  Economy / Economics / Re: How to reduce the price of goods on: September 20, 2023, 11:55:09 AM
I have been thinking and trying to analyze what is really causing the high cost of food in Nigeria, I came to realize that monopoly is the major factors, Nigeria government are the enablers. How can one person be the sole major distributor, government should welcome competition in the business sector, every business person should be allowed to produce.

This is supposed to be a Nigeria local board thread but since you dropped it in economics, nothing bad.

Inflation is the primary reason why the price of goods increase, when the government fails to combat the things that swell inflation number, it will definitely make even the basic things become unaffordable, and the poor man continue to suffer the consequences. Another thing that makes the price of goods too costly is that Nigeria has dollarized her economy, when you ask an average seller why they increased the price of what they sell, they will tell you that the dollar to Naira has increased, meaning the Naira is becoming walking day by day in a country that is independent.  Undecided

Another reason why the price of goods has increased is that Nigerians want luxury goods they cannot produce and then spend millions of dollars to have those goods and products imported back to Nigeria and it is killing the economy because that isn't strengthening the Naira but it keeps falling down every day. I checked Naira to a dollar today at the parallel market and it is now almost #1000 to a dollar, something that was around #380 3 years ago; This is why the price of goods has not been stable in Nigeria.
799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin have grant program ? on: September 20, 2023, 11:43:48 AM
Hello everyone

like most the blockchains do
Does Bitcoin have grant program?

I'm sure if they have it will brings so much traffic

Grant in other blockchains are more like incentives for developers to build on their chain in order to reward them, you build something unique just to impress the teams and then get your share of the pool, nothing more. Bitcoin ecosystem isn't like that because all the new blockchains can mint coins and tokens anyhow they like and give to whoever they want to give, bitcoin isn't like that, there will be 21million BTC which makes it more decentralized and the people that have dedicated their life building from day one were the early birds and they are still here doing the free work to see bitcoin succeed without been rewarded in any form.

There is only one reward in the Bitcoin ecosystem and that is mining, I think lots of people are happy doing that for the community and their pockets, and in return, it makes the chain more decentralized and stable.
800  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paxos recovers its $500,000 'fat finger' Bitcoin transaction fee on: September 19, 2023, 08:48:19 PM
However, if it's an overpaid fee in a transaction, perhaps you made a mistake during the course of a transaction, they may (low chances) return the fees to you for the error.
Whatever tx fee or fee rate attached to your tx goes to the miner, even if you estimated wrongly and overpaid, there is no such return, the fees is what miners use to decide the priority of transactions in the mempool, they can't decide if you willingly overpaid or not. In a tx what returns back to you is change, if there is any. If you are spending a particular utxo, but you are not spending all of it, one of the outputs returns to you as change. Tx fee is simply inputs - outputs, that is what finally goes to the miner.

Just for the record and to prove my point, I hope you believe that miners do consider some transactions where huge fees are return. This is the second time in my life in Bitcoin I have experience this, you can navigate to OP first page and comfirm.

Mistakes are avoidable sometimes but I will really do everything in my power to avoid this because not everyone will reason with you in such kind of difficult situations, that's why concensus rule exit and is been followed by everyone to avoid this kind of things, bull run is also coming, I also hope we don't see more of this.
