More promotions coming soon, we run a lot of promos outside of Bitcointalk but I'll see what we can do in adding some more forum specific ones.

Those outside the forum can definitely feel the various promos available. For those who are here are still in the assessment of what you can do.
I am curious about the boss, is there a difference between them outside the forum and those in the forum in terms of promos?

To all, the OP is active and reads regularly and the OP is trying to answer everything that can be answered.
Please ask about what you want to discuss here that has to do with the Shuffle.
782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More secure ways of storing bitcoin? on: October 23, 2023, 08:59:36 AM
How do institutional investors store and protect their Bitcoin assets?
Institutional investors, such as hedge funds and corporations, have different ways of storing and protecting their Bitcoin assets than typical user wallets.

Based on articles shared under the OP most of them institutional investors choose a place to store crypto in the most places that are not a recommendation, for me it is not a safe choice even though it is a centralized exchange, it is likely to get a guarantee fee when hacking occurs.

In the article, Binance research shows a graph that refers to the survey results of 76 respondents.
Of the 4 storage of funds, the highest graph is in the exchange.

My knowledge is still lacking, but choosing to save in famous exchanges like binance is only easy, actually very dangerous.
783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin were a physical currency. on: October 23, 2023, 07:01:13 AM
I'm new here and don't know much about bitcointalk forums. But I thought about Bitcoin for a while. At one point I wondered what it would be like if Bitcoin was a physical currency instead of a digital currency. It would not have gained so much popularity, and its price would not have increased so much. If it were a physical currency, it would be very difficult to buy, how would you buy? And had to go to different stores to sell or buy. How difficult it would have been then. Are you thinking about this?

If Bitcoin is physical and can be touched like fiat currency, then Bitcoin is not an electronic payment system.

The value may be the same as fiat currency and has the potential to be used as a fake at any time outside the rules, such as counterfeiting paper currency. When that happens, it will be difficult for you to get it if you don't trust the currency counterfeiting group.
At another point, Bitcoin is no longer the best hedge if Bitcoin is anything like physical currency.

In real life, have you ever thought about what if your idolized fiat currency became an electronic payment system that you could use as an investment asset?
Just live your life according to reality, bro.
784  Economy / Reputation / Re: "Bitcointalk" is part of my family living life & my "Baby birthday celebration" on: October 22, 2023, 09:54:35 AM
The decision to delete about 7 photos because the suggestions given by some members are good because we don't know what will happen with different motives. Congrats. May you and your family be successful and blessed.

AFAIK that the Bitcointalk.org forum becomes a space to make money with a signature campaign and other campaigns that can help get additional income.
If someone asks income from the forum is enough to support the needs of one family. What is your answer.

I got the first bitcoin because of the forum and I was very happy. Bitcoin that I got is still stored without me the slightest touch.
Happy that I feel there is one question, what if the forum admin does not extend the domain or whatever its type that makes people unable to continue the forum activities.
Not about what if the signature campaign is deleted like The Spectical Chymist question.

786  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [General] Bitcoin Wallets - Which, what, why? on: October 22, 2023, 08:22:50 AM
Can someone explain the basics of how to get started with Bitcoin for newcomers? What are the key steps, and what advice would you give to someone just entering the world of cryptocurrency investment?

Download a wallet or buy a wallet to store Bitcoin.
The downloaded wallet is called a software wallet. Wallets purchased to store Bitcoin are called physically touchable hardware wallets.

Once you get a wallet, create an address to be able to send and receive Bitcoin. The address that comes from the wallet, has a key called a seed phrase.
Save the seed phrase in a safe place and make sure it is not connected to the internet.
Learn how to use the wallet (software and hardware).
The wallet used to store Bitcoin, I recommend an open source one and some other important things.

The Toon Army squad is feasting on goals at St. James' Park. 4-0 temporary score and the match is almost over.
Yesterday I doubted the 3-0 prediction and preferred a draw prediction based on head to head. Hudgson's troops failed to bring home points as predicted by a draw from my analysis.

The Chelsea and Arsenal line ups have appeared.
I want to quote what was asked by sportsbet.io, will the gunners spread the red signature all over London?[1]

shuffle.com which I am promoting you can use the link from my signature room for you to bet on sportsbooks.
Op, to have a good gaming experience, do your own research.

My honest answer, choose a site that has the best reputation and has been operating for a long time, like some of the recommendations here. The guarantee I don't know is whether it will lead to fraud, but most of them are very active there without complaints of fraud.
789  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Apakah Bitcoin Akan Sepopuler Ini Jika Satoshi Masih Ada? on: October 21, 2023, 07:33:01 AM

Setahu saya Bitcoin itu justru merupakan decentralized digital currency yang mana tidak ada pengaturan terpusat dari pemerintah/institusi keuangan manapun pada Bitcoin dan ini yang menjadi keunikannya tersendiri di awal kemunculannya;

A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution.

790  Other / Meta / Re: Post/Thread Writing With AI - For Faster Signature Campaign Rewards - Easy & Fun on: October 21, 2023, 07:02:13 AM
To make forum life more easy and modern, posts and threads writing with AI ( Artificial Intelligence ) could be nice gift for all forum users. AI using in Bitcointalk forum can be also real life saver, when you need to make more posts/threads to receive the signature campaign awards.

What you think ?

AI is more fun and could be a real lifesaver? I'm guessing you weren't drunk when you created the topic.

AI intelligence cannot save a person from stupidity. AI intelligence cannot make someone intelligent because a person's brain is very slow.
AI only creates a high percentage of lies in real terms. Do some research if you don't believe it.
People who rely on AI do not have brains that function to think. People who rely on AI are people who fail to be human.

The thought of using AI to create posts and correct false/spamful realities is completely unjustifiable to me.
Forum activity will be sterile if users don't have stupid thoughts like you. Don't be offended because your age and mine based on the year of account registration are only slightly different.

The difference between me and you in viewing things may be far. You are not ready to be a complete human, while I am very happy to be a human who tries to always use my brain to think about what I can do to improve something without needing AI help. Why? because AI was created by the same type of creature as me, namely humans.

Do you know what I'm thinking?
Read it again and you will find my thoughts.
791  Other / Meta / Re: As A Bitcointalk Member on: October 20, 2023, 10:13:40 AM
What have they done to own that title?
Is it that they have contributed much on this Forum? What have they done or how can we tell what they have done?

I respect people who I consider useful for my progress and perhaps for the progress of many other users through the knowledge they have. It doesn't matter what the rank is and doesn't care about the title attached to it.

I haven't done anything that stands out while I've been on the forum other than conveying what I know through posts. I also don't know what the specific purpose of contributing to the forum is because I just obey the rules and try to always be someone who learns from those whose characters I like.
When I am alone in silence without any noise in front of the computer, I often ask the question of what contribution I will make, but I can't find it because almost everything has been done by other people.

The battle of words in my mind continues regarding the matter of contribution with the question of whether it could be because I was here late.
The answer I found was not true and it was a form of blaming the situation.
My initial conclusion is as in the paragraph above. I will honor them in the hope that others can get the same from me someday.
792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Need Satoshi? on: October 20, 2023, 08:50:45 AM
We still need him if he really wants to return to the bitcoin community and continue to grow it. He is the one who created bitcoin, we should respect him, and never say we don't need him.

For those who don't hope for Satoshi's return, that's not to disrespect his masterpiece. The legacy left by Satohoshi must be maintained from generation to generation.
The way to honor Satoshi for his creation of Bitcoin which is a solution to a pretty good system is to convey to everyone about the advantages and uses of Bitcoin that are worth conveying.

I agree with the pool that they don't expect Satoshi to return because for me let Satoshi be a figure that no one knows so that he becomes the person who contributed most to the greatness of the Bitcoin system in modern financial technology.

The appearance of fake Satohosi in various rooms made me panic because I was still very young here, but I didn't easily believe that he was the hero.
793  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What wallet would you recommend? on: October 20, 2023, 08:05:26 AM
-snip-
Hi, and thank you for your response and the information in this post.
I looked at the website with the hardware wallets, and I found interesting (functionnality & where it is coming from) 3 of them:
- the Trezor safe 3
- the SecuX W20
- the D'cent biometric wallet
For all of them it is indicated that are available on Amazon, so does that mean that Amazon is a certified reseller? Or should I still purchase one of them from the manufacturer's website?
They have different parameters with which I do not quite know what to do, so which one do you think would be a good fit for me as a noob?

Amazon is one place to buy among several other places to buy available. Incidentally, in the table listing thebitcoinhole.com, the owner of the website includes Amazon as a place to buy and in my opinion the inclusion of Amazon is only to show the price of the product, not a recommendation.

Each country has different resellers and it is best to buy from official Trezor resellers or other hardware companies. As for Trezor, they also have an official reseller https://trezor.io/resellers.
As I come from Indonesia, on the website https://trezor.io/resellers there is a good place for me to buy products from Trezor called N Crypt as authorized resellers.

I learned this from my local senior who is very experienced in this field.

So, I think buying products from official resellers is safer and highly recommended.
794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? Selling all or not on: October 19, 2023, 11:53:46 AM
✂️
Everyone is holdle bitcoin in the bear market and planning to sell in the bull market, now, when finally, the bull market  comes should I sell all my bitcoins and prepare to accumulate from afresh in the next bear market again? or should I keep some percentage to continue the accumulation?

More than 70% of the assets I hold I will sell — I will most likely do so if the price reaches more than the previous ATH. If the market is only bullish and does not reach the previous ATH price, I will cancel my planned selling plan to continue accumulation and wait for the new ATH.
For me, selling bitcoins is too easy for me to do but accumulating bitcoins is quite difficult, just like resisting the temptation to hold in a market full of FUD.

When I was able to hold on strongly until the price reached a new ATH, I felt I had received an award certificate of extraordinary value because the target to get to the final goal was full of challenges, unlike how other people see someone's success, meaning people might see the path taken as very smooth. but it is not.
795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you leave gambling if your future wife/husband tells you to do this ? on: October 19, 2023, 10:34:06 AM
Will you leave gambling if your future wife/husband tells you to do this ?

Stop gambling not because of other people, but because of your own desires. Stopping gambling because of other people's causes, for me is still good because a ban can have a positive impact. What's unfortunate is that you can never stop despite strong encouragement from other people.
So, there is no specific answer in answering your question because it all depends on each individual.
If the question were reversed, what would you answer?
796  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 Official Partner of Newcastle United Football Club on: October 19, 2023, 09:35:50 AM
Liverpool vs Everton - Another 12:30pm Saturday kick off for Klopp’s men, he will not be happy. I will be attending the game with my brother, my 2nd game this season. I’m expecting us to get back to winning ways after being robbed at Spurs and denied a win by a battling Brighton team in the last 2 games. Prediction 2-0 LFC.

2-0 the most likely score in the Merseyside derby. Victory for Liverpool is the first option in betting. Liverpool are good and Everton are not so good.

Newcastle vs C Palace - sportsbet.io sponsored Newcastle are getting back to the form of last season. No way Hodgson’s men take anything back to London. Prediction 3-0 Toon.

3-0 is too big a score even though Newcastle has returned to a good game. I might dare to predict Newcastle to win with a score of no more than 2.
Hodgson's team could give Newcastle a surprise because from head to head, a draw might be repeated.

Chelsea vs Arsenal - This game could throw up a surprise, clearly Arsenal are in much better form, on paper a far superior team but this is a London Derby. The home crowd will be fired up, I think Chelsea can get a positive result. Prediction Draw.

Yes. I agree that the result of the London derby will be a draw.
Your assessment of Arsenal's game is not wrong. Chelsea is on the rise. So Arsenal must be careful. Stamford Bridge could provide sterility for Odegaard and his friends.
797  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What wallet would you recommend? on: October 19, 2023, 09:08:59 AM
Hi,
I will be a new miner soon and as I am documenting myself, I did not find anything about what wallet would be best to use, or where I could find wallets to use, OK?

To see a list of wallets that you want to use.
1. https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet?step=1
2. 17 Software Wallets
3. 46 Hardware Wallets

I have accounts at cripto.com, and shakepay, and they have their wallets, so should I use those, or are there other alternatives.

Don't use the wallet I underlined and any type of wallet that is not clear even though I don't know about the wallet you are referring to. A good wallet choice that you can use is a wallet that you can control the seed phrase yourself without any gaps for the dev in the series of seed phrase words generated from the wallet.

Electrum is my answer to software wallets and also uses hardware wallets.

799  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stainless steel or Titanium on: October 18, 2023, 12:09:42 PM
Better stainless steel. Better round metal to use.

Trying to write seed phrase in materials such as stainless steel is not wrong because we have created stronger security. But is not a laminated paper that can also function well to write Seed Phrase because we have backups that are stored in several places that are not connected to the internet if there is still the intention to sell Bitcoin when the time has come.
800  Other / Meta / Re: *Restarted* Post history review offer on: October 18, 2023, 10:41:55 AM
You don't need anybody's permission to send them a PM.  If you're using PMs to promote something or whatever, those might get reported but you don't need to feel timid just because someone has a higher rank than you or has been here longer.  Ideally we should be helping each other, and that's kind of tough when there appears to be a hierarchy, power structure, or the like that inhibits communication.

TL;DR: Feel free to PM me, any of you.

Fear that has turned into courage. This happened after getting an extraordinary input for me to look into myself closer so that my confidence increased because he asked to review my post. During this time I do it very often routinely on the local board and find many positive things.

I had thought carefully about various advice that I would never find the location of the shortcomings if I did not have the courage to ask people to do it because I only had two eyes and it turned out to be true for positive things.

So, I have thrown away that fear and ventured to things that can bring my self-change. It turned out that the wisdom was quite large because all the input was valuable even though initially scared asking people to visit the profile and ask to review a post like fear of my mother when he was scolded and ignored because the level of confidence was not ready.

Just like I responded to this, courage was 70%, the rest was fear and over time I would continue to try to decrease.
