I get 20 mh with sjs 1070 (oc'ed) with -i 32. 375.95

net is higher now, so your are getting the same profit as the 15mh hahs for the 1070, so it's pointless ot mine

but i see a greater price on those chinese exchange, but you will have problem getting the fund out of there thta's why the price is higher...
Yup I sent .1 btc to a Chinese exchange ... I never got it back. It just goes to show one where to exchange.

I have never had any problems with eastern exchanges, rules can be a bit different than on western ones though. In this case there is a minimum withdrawal of 0.02 btc, shouldn't be a real problem for average miner.

I donated 0.05 btc to pallas after releasing updated opensource version of xcn, I find it really hard to donate another 0.05 for a small speedup.

It's not a small speedup. The opensource miner doesn't work on windows. My miner is around 40% faster than DJM34's (& catia) 2 year old miner on windows. A 750ti should be able to do 6MHASH with oc. A 970 should do 11500 with oc. a 1060 should do 13MHASH with oc. and 1070 19MHASH ++ with oc

Went and tested some old miners with 970. Couldn't find djm7, djm6 gives 9100-9400, djm5 is the the best coil whine test I have seen so far.

Overclocking gets you closer to 10000, overclocking+tdp limit to 60-70 range gives 80-90% of performance with much lower power consumption. I just can't see +40% here.

Your thoughts on xcn network?

Just some thoughts,

You can control whole that network and you still chose to sell subscriptions? Why is that?

Cryptonite sp-mod #1 is ready
Solomining works?

yes. Should work. Pallas fixed solomining in his fork.

How is your cpu usage with multiple gpu's?

xcn difficulty retargets really slowly. 1gh has been down for about 24h, when nethash was 2.6GH difficulty was 217000, now when net has recovered back to 3.36GH diff is 194000 and going down.

Makes really hard to estimate earnings but lately it has been ~30xcn/ 10MH/ hour just like oldschoolgamer wrote on pallas xcn thread.

Suprnova's estimations are way off but not by 4x.

edit: 3.54GH diff 191000
edit2: 4.32GH diff 189000
edit3: 4.41GH diff 188000
edit4: 3.21GH diff 188000???
edit 5: 5.28GH diff 192000
787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v9.1 on: December 10, 2016, 09:47:43 AM
8.0, 9.0, 9.1 all working perfectly here, no problems whatsoever. SSL, under/over clocking/volting, connection, windows 7/10 just works.

I don't have rx series cards though, seems to me that they would be the best cards to test this strange behaviour.

788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best PSU for R9 390 series on: December 08, 2016, 01:52:15 AM
For reference, the R9 390 is a R9 290 with slightly faster memory and an updated BIOS - my "bigrig" with 3x R9 290s using a modded TheStilt "undervolt+tighten up timings+turn off some of the ROPs" bios goes through a little over 1000 watts at the wall with the cards clocked at 1100/1250 on ETH mining (reference cards stock clocks 947/1250).

QuintLeo,

Your volts?

Bensam, your analysis, where did this huge nvidia equihash go?
790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best PSU for R9 390 series on: December 08, 2016, 01:03:44 AM
How much power it can be saved with bios modded? And how it'll affect the hash power? (Let's saying if one card consume 120w)

Well it depends, 100% if you shut down your rig  Roll Eyes.

290/ 390(x) can be whatever you want it to be. Powersaver? sure, it can do 270. Compute monster? No problem, how many watts?

If you want to find those very best settings you need to go gpu by gpu. It takes 'some' time, add different algos and miners and you are so lost.
Start with those basic settings and do some google if you want to know more.

'oldschoolgamer', you do understand this has been mineable for 900 days?

PS. sp_ is that you? ))

No need to buy psu's, your settings are way off. I just wanted to do stress test with some lunatic settings.

You on nix or windows?

Windows 10 64bits

Stop that dual mining.

Install gpu-z and msi afterburner.

Download hawaiireader.

On gpu-z, extract your bios.

On hawaiireader, open that bios and look what those dpm clocks are. Use those dpm 2-7 core + mem 1500.

Do some more powersaving with afterburner.

Do some serious powersaving with bios modding.

1060w at the wall, how long do I need to run this?  Cool

edit: 29 eth + 435 dcr if someone is interested.

1060 for how many cards?

Looking at your .bat it is not your psu. I will try to mine for you anyway.

Try to lower that intensity.
797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best PSU for R9 390 series on: December 07, 2016, 09:50:37 PM
i made the test in 2 Rigs

each one has the same conf. (6 x r9 390 - 2 x 1000W PSU)

TOTAL:
12 x r9 390 - 4000W

Ok, give me your .bat file, one 3x390 ready with power meter.
this is my .bat file:
Code:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
ZecMiner64.exe -zpool eu1-zcash.flypool.org:3333 -zwal t1LRjjpNF791MJ9XScnUnqxhAaL5EbeCmjt.RIG04 -zpsw x -i 8 -mport -3347 -fanmin 70

And your core/mem/power settings?

1000w gold psu should easily feed 3x390 everything default.

thats not correct friend..

Sometimes a R9 goes to 400W 3x400 = 1200W

If you use dual mining ETH + DECRED for example, unfortuny this happen.. (on stock)

You are right, forgot someone could be dualmining.

Give me one example where 1000w can't feed 3x390, launch config. I will try it right away.

i tryed here with zcash v8 (works)

the problem on my rigs with psu is when i use this:

Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred_Siacoin_Lbry AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v7.3
6 x r9 390 (powercolor)
2x 1000W gold plus PSU

tryed on 2 rigs

1 - Work for 4 hours than reset
2 - Reset after 20 minutes (and i thought the psu was broken, but is wasa not)

So you have two 3x390 rigs? Or two 6x390? Or one 6x390 rig powered by 2x1000w psu?
