I don't completely disagree with Bitzillions that they can't set the fees so low a sudden change in the atmosphere would make it horrible for customers who require speedy confirmations but that was honestly too high of a fee they charged considering. They probably can't predict the fees exactly but chose enough should do just fine and that wasn't close.

While we're complaining about fees we should look at how exchanges charge us. Most exchanges charge ridiculous fees for various currencies while actually paying a fraction of that in the actual transaction.

Hello,
<snip>

I used Bitdice.me a bit back when they accepted CLAM... as I recall there isn't an affiliate system with y'all yet is there?

There sort of is an affiliate system, it just isn't fully automatic (yet). Basically to receive your cut you would have to get in touch with Alex. I've been suggesting to make it automatic and will definitely let people know when it's in place. So yeah, there is.

Fuck, that sounds like a pain in the ass.  Alex is a decent guy though it seems from our past conversations.

I always felt like BitDice.me had a Diceninja feel to it... (no offense intended!)

Very offended now Cheesy

Well I suppose our track record should help? Some huge bets and cashouts have been handled without issues.

EDIT: Yeah, it is a pain in the ass and thats why I've been trying to suggest changing that.

O ya BitDice.me has done a great job thus far.

I've used Bitdice.me a handful of times.  Y'all also handled opening and closing of CLAMS gracefully, which we all from the CLAM community very much appreciate.

Thank you. Also, I reminded Alex once again regarding your concerns about the affiliate system.

What is the minimum investment which can be made in Bitdice? I am not getting invest info on site, or is that feature disabled now?
You can't invest directly on bitdice, direct investment was removed when bitdice did the ICO. you can however buy bitdice token(CSNO), it can be bought on etherdelta/hitbtc. you'll get quarterly dividends for holding CSNO tokens, dividends per token will depend on how much profit bitdice makes.

This.

The old investment system was replaced once the tokens were introduced so now you can't invest directly into the site anymore. However the site has been quite profitable lately which means buying tokens might be worth it.
before I apologize to bitdice and BoXXob, if you want to invest in dice site, you can visit BUSTADICE you can click my signature ,, there you can invest directly at bustadice site ,, now bustadice is getting famous and may be very promising if you invest there

They still have that 10% dilution fee in place right? This is what would turn me off from investing considering only the existing investors will benefit from this.
They lowered it to 1%. lol i prefer holding tokens in my wallet and getting divs. Grin

Well, looks like failed martingale, a huge loss. he/she could be the player who was winning earlier.

I personally like the idea of dividends. As long as BitDice performs well (and gambling sites tend to do so) it should be a great long-term investment.

On other note:

It's been pretty active on the casino lately!

A couple of huge wins from past days:

Wow those are some nice huge wins! bitdice profit keeps going down lol. anyways good to see some high roller action. Cheesy

Look at this, happened few hours ago.

wow, that some nice streak, hope this guy doeesn't take all the bank roll.

I will keep an eye on this rollers, is always nice to see people win tons of coins. For sure is a big pain or the casino, but sometimes people just big win.

The fun fact is: 90% of people who win big, always give the money back to the casino. Lot of people bet without a limit, and that usually end bad because the limit for those is zero. As i say, go big or go home.

There is so many big winners around, I would like to see if any of them really make the profit overall. This is gamblers addicted, although we see them as a winners for overall they are losing, only some that really profit from gambling and this is how gambling site should be. I do not say it is easy to get profit but it is just like big whale love to do this way, it is like just entertaining them

It's hard to say who makes profit overall but if we look at sessions there's plenty of people who have come in and grabbed a huge chunk of profit. Up for speculation whether they will keep their profits but if people walk away, sure they can profit quite well.

maybe offer a better affiliate comission and there is no need to offer money to promote
Youtube video bloggers don't work like that.Their conversion rates are only considered by YouTube add clicks to a certain extent but primarily huge audience/views being the main source of income.Pretty sure they are not very fond of bet affiliate commission and they'd ask money for the word spread among "x" number of the target audience.

Depending on the viewers/subscribers this amount can range from $5k-$50k depending on the artist.

Nice to see some discussion about this.

Alex, Box, this could be the guy who could help promote the site once you have poker available.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9JphseZpFY

He's also been getting into BTC and crypto in general, so that's a plus.  Smiley

And he's not just some random guy in the poker scene...  The dude's the nuts!

I'll forward this, thanks! :-)
792  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 Treasure Chest Is Back! 🎰🎰🎰 on: March 08, 2018, 02:51:44 PM
Interesting fact Alex had posted the entire changes a while back here, take the effort to read it. Not only did he post the changes he also gave a detailed explanation for the changes. Can you please post the screenshot of you being trolled it's hilarious lol, never saw that one coming. Anyway next time get in touch with boxxob he's always around to help you.

I do keep track of this thread and the reports alex makes, but unfortunately your assertion is not true.  He does reference some unspecified changes to combat abuse in the financial report on Feb 26th, but does not say what they are.  Perhaps he posted them somewhere else, if so, it would be helpful if you included a link so others with similar questions and issues could easily find it.

I think everyone can get behind stopping people who abuse the site, other sites have made similar changes, just communicate clearly what's going on.

We're aware of this and once time frees up we're most likely going to make everything a bit more straight forward and bring changes that will make the experience as a whole better for everyone.

I suppose it's time to find another Full Member. I might choose 2 but then I'd have to release someone's spot. Everyone drop your application here and I'll probably choose an user within 1-2 weeks.

On other note I've had to warn some people because some people tend to post in threads that are far from constructive and more or less there just so signature spammers can post on there. This isn't really the sort of coverage we want.
794  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice domain access restored. Please stand-by for more details on: March 07, 2018, 01:39:16 PM
Good news! We've regained access to the domain and they are pointed at our old nameservers again. I still must stress that you cannot trust emails from @primedice for the next day or until we say so.

We're in the process of transferring the domain to a more secure registrar. I will let you know when the site is back and it is safe to play, but hopefully within the next day.
You should make a mandatory password change for everyone who logs back into primedice

Not only that but a way to make sure those who did attempt login on the phishing site could securely login their own account.

Luckily I'm not one of those.
795  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do not log into Primedice.com ! Balances safe but domain registrar compromised. on: March 07, 2018, 12:41:54 PM
This is a very unfortunate thing to happen but I'm glad to see PD was so quick to take action. What I don't understand is why someone would do this with so little to gain...

Hope you get your site up soon, MICRO.

did you get free domain name with hosting when starting the site?

i would move to a new register

I suppose they can switch registrar after the issue is resolved. Till then their hands are tied.

Hello, Micro and Stunna

Is there anyway to transfer a balance from PD to stake or anything like that?

I want play.

Someone asked this before and as far as I know it's not possible yet
796  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 Treasure Chest Is Back! 🎰🎰🎰 on: March 05, 2018, 02:49:38 PM
uh,after some inactivity I logged in to find that not only there are no low level treasure chests
but the faucet is disabled? or does it have some requirements "no money no honey"
as  much as admire admin's sense of humour, would be nice to post some explanation about the changes
the chat is full of trolls and no explanation was given either
I understand in order to get faucet you have to deposit? kinda defeats the purpose of the faucet first place

Yeah, the faucet is currently disabled.

The chest scales based on wager over last 30 days so it is more rewarding the more that is wagered.
It is there move to separate faucet farmers from real players of the site. Also they implement this in order to stop alt accounts from benefiting the faucet and continue to play even without flushing in with their own money.  I know a couple of gambling website had implemented it as well. And from what I know of some gambling website only requires you a one time deposit in order to enable the faucet again, I don't know if BitDice belongs to the group. Also basing it from experience you also need a minimum deposit in order to activate it again.

I see, thank you for the detailed explanation
since I could not get any answer from chat there, maybe hire a couple more mods who would answer
players questions rather than trolling them and branding farmers out of the gates
no idea if the deposit would unlock the faucet or not, maybe will try it out soon

I'm sorry I missed you in chat veleten.  Bitdice has long been one of my favorite sites and kolloh if he is there is very helpful in chat but otherwise it can be hit or miss.  Usually chat is pretty quiet, I'm surprised you were actually trolled.

Bitdice's Treasure Chest (and faucet?) appears to have been overly exploited and so many changes have been made that have not been fully explained or laid out.  For example, right now if I attempt to withdraw I get banned from chat.  It's strange, I can't imagine why those two things should be linked.  I'm hoping it's a bug.  While kolloh has helped me out, polite messages to support have gone unanswered.

Alex has always been honest so I don't think you should have any concerns about playing there, but the social scene is not the same as some other leading sites.

exactly,wry
to me the social aspect of the game is equally,if not more important than just pressing buttons
and it doesn't feel right when the site looks like a troll infested den with no admins answering in the topic either :"(
I never doubted the honesty of the owners-I had many withdrawals go through without any problem
but I wish they took more time to announce things properly
probably busy with the new website layout and redesign and rebranding, but an announcement here about the changes  would have been good

Either me or Kolloh are usually in the chat and we try our best to answer questions. I'm not sure who trolled you. You're right that there's a lot of work being done to bring updates and partly the reason why there's not always an admin to answer questions.

We've been discussing changes and are addressing issues that are brought up. It's just taking time because a lot of things we're planning take a lot of preparation.

To everyone who has questions or concerns regarding BitDice you are always free to PM me here too. I usually notice messages fairly quickly. We're certainly not trying to troll anyone though I can't really speak on behalf of the general population of the chatbox.

Thanks

How long before Sirius will go to exchange?
Any progress we should know?
Anyway what about bounty , can't wait to join the bounty campaign.

Not sure if bounties mentioned before refer to bug bounties and such.

Either way this question is asked pretty much every day. Please just wait for further announcements to get your questions answered.

Also true.

... as I post this from a Windows 10 laptop.

After attempting to sync it on my laptop I decided it is time to put linux on it. Couldn't be happier with my decision...
