781  Economy / Gambling / Re: are bookies fortunejack.com & rollbit.com trustworthy with larger amounts ? on: December 05, 2023, 01:17:25 AM
I don't bet that high in sports betting, but I wouldn't worry as much when those two sportsbooks you mentioned have the reputation to back it up. I'd be more worried about their limits because you might have problems placing that amount in some of their markets. That said, I also recommend their suggestion above and try to open more accounts in other sportsbooks. This way you still have a backup if one of the sportsbooks you regularly use starts to place a cap in some of the markets you take.

I might've switched sides if the handicap for the Pacers was around six or more, and the late announcements only made the odds better for the side of the Celtics, so i'm in the same boat. The Pacers are one of the teams that can score a lot, but at the same time, they give up a lot of points, and the Celtics should abuse that.

The Kings' match is such a toss-up with CJ ready to go for the Pelicans, and it makes me think they're the better play, including the recent head-to-head result that's currently in favor of the Pelicans. If the Kings can push the live odds early in their favor, I might take the extra points with the Pelicans.

The Chiefs' road loss yesterday against the Packers was surprising as their offense and defense underperformed. I thought it'd be similar to the Raiders match, where they start slow and then turn it up in the second half, but it never happened. The Packers played well and abused the Chiefs' defense that couldn't stop any of their plays.

In today's MNF, i'll be testing my luck on this betbuilder, and I took some of the lowest numbers I could find to boost the odds above even because i'm struggling to find a decent single bet to take for the match.

Sorry about your bet. I guess the home team defended and allowed just this 1 goal, I would probably have taken the same as you, Brighton games tend to be highscoring, I guess this time they wanted to keep a clean sheet.

This is my bet of today. Juve special Smiley
I wasn't expecting the game to finish with only a goal as well, and the unexpected red card was probably the huge factor. It's all good, in the next few hours, I bounced back with a win on my Cowboys bet during the NFL match.

Congrats on winning the Juventus special. Good thing Monza scored during the stoppage time so Juventus had to answer back with another goal.

It depends on how much you need the money or how much you value the bet. If I have the same parlay, I would press the cashout button on that ticket when the current payout is already worth close to $500 and it's big enough for most gamblers to be happy. In my view, it's not worth continuing the parlay because it only comes down to the last two legs and only requires one outcome to ruin everything. It might suck when they both hit, but i'd rather play it safe, even if I have to take the hit.
788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why sports betting? on: December 01, 2023, 01:42:55 AM
So, out of curiosity ( don't want to assume), what are the reasons why you fall in love with sports betting?

Moreover, I like to know if you really believe you can win in sports betting in the long run, or you just really think no chance because every game can be win by luck, sports betting is not exemption.
It's because, in sports betting, you're not being weighed down by the house edge and view some matches differently in a way that you don't mostly fall for the odds set by the oddsmakers. I still believe sports bettors can win, but i've already accepted that i'm not one of those bettors because it takes so much dedication to maintain a good betting record and consistently avoid most of the trap matches every season. That last part is still true, luck exists in sports betting, and the good part is that you can somewhat control it by skipping matches.

cowboys have allowed only 60 points this season in their 5 games at home
Seattle away arent a scoring maching either so i think seattle team total under 18.5 points might be a good play Smiley
That and the Cowboys team total over 28.5 points is the solid play for this week's TNF. I still think the Cowboys will steamroll the Seahawks and win by a lot, but i'd take the less sweaty alternative.

They haven't gone below 30 points at home and looking at the Seahawks' road results, they'd probably let the Cowboys hit the over when they allowed other teams like the Ravens and Lions that many points.

That's another point down for me after the UECL and UEL matches and with only two different answers remaining while trailing three points, it's probably safe to say that my losing streak continues. Congrats to notblox on the early win and extending your streak to seven.

My schedule is so rough i'm up against another top team next week.  Lips sealed

Back to normal football. Normal luck?
That would be the best-case scenario, but I assume it could still go on until the weekend when some teams are playing two matches this week.

I got another over ticket, and it'll be for the Brighton vs. AEK Athens match, as these two already had a lot of goals(2-3) in the last meeting. Brighton is consistent at conceding goals, so BTTS shouldn't be an issue and AEK Athens needs a win to hold Brighton from securing one of the two playoff spots.

I finally got rid of Botman with my free transfer for this gw. Net negative effect and returns for Botman on my team. Got Trippier once again — hopefully he gets to cook as we approach midway to the season.
I did the same, I wanted to keep him but there were too many players sitting out on my squad and I think i'm missing out on some points if I don't make a change anytime soon.

I replaced him with Zinchenko as I still have a bit of extra left we'll see if it's worth the investment.
793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risking 1% in Gambling on: November 30, 2023, 03:00:56 AM
Do you guys also follow a similar strategy like gambling with 1% or 2% on each game?
Unfortunately, I rarely follow this strategy, because i've mentioned in some of my older posts that I would always go bigger whenever I see profitable opportunities through promotions and contests that I know would give me a slightly risk-free profit.

Plus, I make sure to go slightly above the casino's minimum withdrawal because it sometimes bothers me that I have some money lying around in my casino account, and the safest way to get that money out of the site is to make another deposit and play with the highest win probability to clear the deposit rollover.

@ralle14 The PSG match really punished alot of others bets as I have seen so many crying solely about this match yesterday.
Today it was Bayern Munich's turn with a goal less draw.
Actually there were alot of draw matches today which I didn't expect happening. Luckily for Real Madrid they scored in the final few minutes of their match against Napoli.
Your Manchester United match I saw them leading 3-1 after half-time but then believe it ended in a 3-3 draw.
In the last ten minutes of that Bayern Munich match, Copenhagen almost gave it away but they're lucky that the refs didn't give the penalty.

I slightly expected some of the dogs would show up when the other favorites already locked their playoff spot, but still, it's wild to see this many draws(5/8).

Yeah, my over ticket became sweat-free thanks to Man United scoring early and forcing Galatasaray to chase.  Cheesy

795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 30, 2023, 12:15:57 AM
However, someone attempted a 3 on the last possession of the Heat, and luckily it just bounce, so woah, big relieved for me.  Grin
I also saw that desperate final shot and we're lucky it didn't go in because it could've been a backdoor cover.

It's tempting to go for the bigger favorites like the Nuggets, Magic, or Lakers but i'm still scarred from what happened the other day. I switched my pick to the Suns since they've been on a good streak and should extend it even further if nothing goes wrong.

PSG was underwhelming yesterday. I thought they could get one back after they went down 0-1 and Newcastle almost got away with a win if it weren't for that penalty in the final few minutes.

Speaking of the Napoli and Real Madrid match it's also the MOTD, but I guess the market is back to being bugged on my end since the only specials I see are for the Real Sociedad vs. RB Salzburg match. I would've jumped on Real Sociedad if they were playing for something bigger aside from securing the top seed.

Looking forward to the Galatasaray vs. Man United match and i'm expecting to see these two try to outscore each other again.

I'm back to my usual shaky start, currently down 0-2 against the division leader(notblox), but still doable if I can get something going in the second half.

Anyone who have NO to Vinicius scoring has an advantage since Real Madrid have confirmed that Vinicius Jr will be ruled out for at least two months with a hamstring injury.. (This has actually been confirmed on 18 Nov)
I chose no on Vinicius to score, but unfortunately, we both have the same answer so it evens out.  Grin
799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not this guy on: November 29, 2023, 02:04:49 AM
There is some certain amount of money that you will lose and you will be so pissed and probably quit, but not this guy.

I've get to know that not all gamblers need to be a responsible gambler, some knows, they are not hypnotized by gambling, they are fully awake and they still choose to be a reckless gambler.
Maybe that gambler is raking in a lot of money through his job, and that's why he's not worried about the money he spends on casinos. There are always different kinds of gamblers you'll meet along the way and it's why casinos always have warnings somewhere on their site or advertisements about gambling addiction. And you can't always expect most gamblers to behave in the same way as you or like a responsible gambler since it's always easy to form an addiction.

The Vikings on the other hand blew it last night for the MNF match losing to the Bears 12-10.
Not sure how they managed to lose as Jefferson was back in the lineup for last nights game.
Glad I missed it because from the score line it seemed like a boring match with only a couple of TDs.
True, the game was so slow and ugly that it started to become a defensive game. It's always a quick punt, and it's frustrating to watch the Vikings' offense because whenever Dobbs throws the ball, there's always a bigger chance that it'll get caught by the Bears' defense for an interception. The Bears had their fair share of turnovers as well, but it didn't have a big impact since the Vikings were consistently struggling to get 10 yards.
