781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you deal with high transaction fee on BTC on gambling? on: December 07, 2023, 02:02:35 AM
How do you deal with this problem? Is there any casino that allows no confirmation to deposit? Let’s say I will send my Bitcoin using fee below average and then play while it’s still unconfirmed. I knew that some casino do have instant deposit but I never try depositing much lower fee to the average fee if they will still credit instantly.
I sometimes take advantage of instant deposits offered by a couple of casinos, and the downside is waiting indefinitely because it could take weeks or even a month before the network is back to regularly using low fees. If you always play small, this might be the best option.

The other option I go for is the exchange route. Sometimes, I would directly deposit my BTC on the casino because others have an indirect exchange system where you can withdraw a different altcoin.

Barcelona crumbled so hard in the second half to spoil my lead and almost gave away the lead to my opponent. I'm relieved that we are still tied 4-4 after Man United won against Chelsea. Cheesy

We still have two opposing questions (q9 and q10), so it all comes down to Bellingham's performance and the weekend matches.
783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: December 07, 2023, 12:01:11 AM
I guess i'm the only one leaning on the Orlando Magic +4.5, liking the extra points on this team when they're 9-1 in their last 10. The Cavs will probably win because I always expect the worst on road teams, but I imagine the Magic will find a way to make it competitive due to their form.

Two of the worst team, although the Grizzlies is obviously struggling without Ja Morant, they might give the Pistons another lost here and continue with their losing streak.
I agree that both teams are bad, and it's weird to see the Pistons closing in on even odds when the Grizzlies are getting most of their wins on the road.

Guess all of us lost last night Tongue
Yup, we got unlucky yesterday, and good thing we have a lot of matches scheduled today for a potential bounce back.  Wink

I'm still rolling with a few BTTS bets now that these teams playing today are consistently potent on the offensive side and unlikely to go cold anytime soon when their opponent isn't that good at keeping a clean sheet.

Arsenal with that last minute victory from Declan Rice, who's fastly becoming the difference maker for the team when they deeply need to get a miracle, not many people would have score this coming, as just a very few of the answers were for Arsenal to win by a goal margin, and I'm very sure if the question were about how many goals Luton would score, none of the answers would have been 3 goals+
That goal at the end was clutch from Arsenal, and Luton almost convinced me they got the draw in the bag. The total goals were also surprising, as I thought it'd be a classic 1-2 at best.

At least my Euroleague prediction is already halfway from hitting thanks to Real Madrid's six-point win, and I only need Barcelona to win by four to get an early lead.  Wink

It was the night for the underdogs last night, could we be in for another doubleheaded stunners today too ?
The Bucks game isn't over, but at least we already avoided the double upset since they're already leading by almost 20 points in the fourth quarter.  Cheesy

I'll probably take the Lakers for the next match. Something makes me think they're more desperate than the Suns, and maybe the home advantage could push them further than their usual performance.

Did you see that TSM abandoned their tag? They returned to the name Undying. In general, when I saw TSM, every time I remembered their sponsorship from the FTX crypto exchange. This is ingrained in my memory due to the fact that I lost some of my funds there(
That is unfortunate for the TSM players, but it was inevitable after that FTX issue.

Others hope that TSM might move to a different region due to the last part they mentioned in the tweet, maybe switching to another region (like EG and Alliance). There are a lot of decent teams without an org atm, but securing some form of prize money has become more difficult after they took out the DPC.
788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The worst slot provider ever? on: December 06, 2023, 12:55:19 AM
I've only tried half of the providers listed in the poll and the worst ones for me are Hacksaw and Pragmatic, i'd still play them once in a while it's just that the games coming from them are too grindy, it requires so many spins before it gives something good. I guess it doesn't suit my playstyle because you have to keep playing until the end, and i'm the type that would quickly switch to another game when I have a feeling that the current game I play won't pay out anymore.

I have a bitter betting experience with the Knicks so i'll be on the same side with the Bucks handicap (-4.5). One of the things that worries me about the handicap is the number of threes that the Knicks will attempt because if half of those shots start hitting, they might cover the handicap.

Lakers have won the last 4 games, all this year, so betting agains them is like going against the trend. However, I agree with you about the Suns being the better team so I'd follow.

Last game Suns loss by 3 points, but Booker was out (Beal in).. this we have Booker and Durant which are a good combo so far.
I also like the Suns because the difference is night and day with Booker in the lineup but the Lakers perform the best at their home.

Anyway today are some crazy specials. Luton Town stands zero chance but I feel like there must be one game to lose for Arsenal and it should come soon. Maybe now?
It's unlikely, but I see it hitting if Luton Town shows up as they're decent in getting points at home and it reminds me of Forest last season, where they mostly got their points through home results.

I'll pass up on the specials and just bet on the Wolves match since they're good at hitting the BTTS on most of their matches.

MNF Unders are 13/14 thus far if you are into that...
That's what I had in mind too, but the unders aren't treating me well recently.

Somehow i'm not too annoyed about the loss since the Bengals deserve it with the way they relentlessly scored back whenever the Jaguars tried to march their way down for a TD. That turnover in the second half made me think it was over for the Bengals, but their defense found a way to stop the Jaguars, and it only got worse when Lawrence got injured midway through the drive.
792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Money laundering in crypto casino on: December 05, 2023, 03:13:20 AM
Is there any possibility that crypto casino will be seized by the government just like what happened to mixers in case they failed to screen the laundering activity?
That used to be a problem with some crypto casinos, and now that most of them have rules against money laundering, it shouldn't become a big problem like before unless there's some form of insider that would allow this to happen and bypass the restrictions. It's still possible for casinos to get taken down, but in my view, the chances are much lower than the mixers when they're more than willing to follow and avoid those situations, knowing that more money can be made as long as they keep operating.
793  Economy / Gambling / Re: are bookies fortunejack.com & rollbit.com trustworthy with larger amounts ? on: December 05, 2023, 01:17:25 AM
I don't bet that high in sports betting, but I wouldn't worry as much when those two sportsbooks you mentioned have the reputation to back it up. I'd be more worried about their limits because you might have problems placing that amount in some of their markets. That said, I also recommend their suggestion above and try to open more accounts in other sportsbooks. This way you still have a backup if one of the sportsbooks you regularly use starts to place a cap in some of the markets you take.

I might've switched sides if the handicap for the Pacers was around six or more, and the late announcements only made the odds better for the side of the Celtics, so i'm in the same boat. The Pacers are one of the teams that can score a lot, but at the same time, they give up a lot of points, and the Celtics should abuse that.

The Kings' match is such a toss-up with CJ ready to go for the Pelicans, and it makes me think they're the better play, including the recent head-to-head result that's currently in favor of the Pelicans. If the Kings can push the live odds early in their favor, I might take the extra points with the Pelicans.
795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NFL Sportsbet.io discussion & predications thread rev on: December 04, 2023, 11:21:30 PM
The Chiefs' road loss yesterday against the Packers was surprising as their offense and defense underperformed. I thought it'd be similar to the Raiders match, where they start slow and then turn it up in the second half, but it never happened. The Packers played well and abused the Chiefs' defense that couldn't stop any of their plays.

In today's MNF, i'll be testing my luck on this betbuilder, and I took some of the lowest numbers I could find to boost the odds above even because i'm struggling to find a decent single bet to take for the match.

Sorry about your bet. I guess the home team defended and allowed just this 1 goal, I would probably have taken the same as you, Brighton games tend to be highscoring, I guess this time they wanted to keep a clean sheet.

This is my bet of today. Juve special Smiley
I wasn't expecting the game to finish with only a goal as well, and the unexpected red card was probably the huge factor. It's all good, in the next few hours, I bounced back with a win on my Cowboys bet during the NFL match.

Congrats on winning the Juventus special. Good thing Monza scored during the stoppage time so Juventus had to answer back with another goal.

799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CASHOUT OR NOT???? on: December 01, 2023, 03:51:26 PM
It depends on how much you need the money or how much you value the bet. If I have the same parlay, I would press the cashout button on that ticket when the current payout is already worth close to $500 and it's big enough for most gamblers to be happy. In my view, it's not worth continuing the parlay because it only comes down to the last two legs and only requires one outcome to ruin everything. It might suck when they both hit, but i'd rather play it safe, even if I have to take the hit.
800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why sports betting? on: December 01, 2023, 01:42:55 AM
So, out of curiosity ( don't want to assume), what are the reasons why you fall in love with sports betting?

Moreover, I like to know if you really believe you can win in sports betting in the long run, or you just really think no chance because every game can be win by luck, sports betting is not exemption.
It's because, in sports betting, you're not being weighed down by the house edge and view some matches differently in a way that you don't mostly fall for the odds set by the oddsmakers. I still believe sports bettors can win, but i've already accepted that i'm not one of those bettors because it takes so much dedication to maintain a good betting record and consistently avoid most of the trap matches every season. That last part is still true, luck exists in sports betting, and the good part is that you can somewhat control it by skipping matches.
