781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu turns into privacy coin like Monero or ZCash? on: October 07, 2023, 03:29:38 PM
Why would we need shiba to be private when we already have Monero and 0xMonero? What do they offer that is different or better?

They say that competition is healthy... that's how we break limitations, the desire for constant improvements and progress. And it's good to have an alternative, not to rely only on "one thing".

As for the Shiba Inu and the transition to private money, I haven't noticed that there is much talk about it. Maybe it's just marketing testing for now, polling the public and all that. We have been talking about private coins for years, and many think that they are the future, but for now, they are still far from popular in the "real world", people outside of crypto still don't know much about them. Many people outside crypto are still struggling to understand Bitcoin.
782  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 🤝Referral Program 2.0 | 💸Get $1 500 + 30% from Referrals on: October 07, 2023, 11:50:52 AM
It's not like they would need coders to write cryptographic protocols. Their token seems pretty generic, so it doesn't take brightest minds to come up with something like that when it doesn't really need development anyway as the mechanism for keeping it in the site for dividends is pretty easy concept to understand, even for someone like me.

Tokenomics just have not been clear from the start and they never clarified about their end game plans on burning in the future, so i guess we just have to believe they keep burning for now. They are just not burning meaningful amounts to have any effect on anything.

It's worth noting that the Betfury team still prefers anonymity, but at the same time, they state on their website that there are more than 26 people on their team who are involved in developing the project. I believe that most of them are engaged in the development and support of the Betfury site, not the BFG token. So, I wouldn't expect any improvements in terms of BFG burning or anything else.

I wonder what kind of improvements we can/should expect. The BFG token is still what it was before, and I don't expect any changes. As I remember they are burning just tokens that people lose by playing and from auction, so it's meaningful, but people like to hold it more than spend it, which is understandable.

It's a nice thing that now we have the option to buy/sell BFG tokens on the site.
783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lets discuss Poker on: October 07, 2023, 05:47:54 AM
A lot of talk without much playing... as usual on this forum when it comes to poker. If someone really wants to learn how to play poker, it must be at the poker table! It's easy to master the basics and rules of the game, everyone knows that, but sitting down and playing poker is a completely different story.

And it's not difficult (I don't think it's very expensive either) to try a cheaper cash table, even with a few dollars you can play a table where the blinds are in cents. There are also cheap tournaments. That's how you learn poker, you have to play and feel the game, just talking about it will not take you far.
784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Lady Cried After Losing to Sports Bet. Gambling is Not Your Mate. on: October 06, 2023, 08:18:34 PM
I believe she must have been disappointed with herself for such steps she has taken hence her display but at the same time too I became curious to why she would come public to make such stunt for public consumption. This is what I am yet to understand and I am trying to figure the reasons for this public crying ovation.
Your statement is the fact from the case above, no one will cry in sadness unless he loses a large amount of money due to actions and decisions that she thought would bring victory, but unfortunately she made the wrong decision which could cost him all the money she had bet on gambling.

We will never know why she told everything in public, at least she has given a warning to anyone who doesn't follow the mistakes she made, so for anyone, don't follow in this woman's footsteps and keep gambling with the amount of bets you can afford to lose.

She shared it because she felt the rage... There was nothing left for her but to share her anger with others, and of course her disappointment... but all of that was caused by a gambling loss. In case she won, we wouldn't read this for sure.

Well, it's gambling... we all win & lose all the time. And most of us knows how it feels when we lose a lot of money, and we know that anger & rage toward gambling/gambling game/casino when we lose. More we risk more we feel it, so it's not in vain when we say "gamble just with money you can aford to lose". We all learn that sooner or later... in an easy or hard way.
785  Economy / Gambling / Re: what are the best crypto casinos! on: October 06, 2023, 04:14:11 PM
I do like to look at both review sites and forums. Although I trust review sites less.

What are the chances that these casino are giving each other fake reviews in order to drown out competition or disgruntled bad losers making fake accusations? There really is no quality control when it comes to rating sites. Thats really the main reason why I tend to be wary of rating/review websites. Especially since these rating websites also usually ask for money in return for good reviews which are supposed to look real. I prefer to see what veteran members of communities like Bitcointalk say about those casinos.

But if I see many ratings saying the same thing then the probability is high that there is a real problem.

I think that BTCGosu is totally different story... it's not an ordinary "review & rating" casino, first of all, reviews and ratings come from their own experience, they will not promote something they didn't try and test in various ways. Second, we can add our own reviews and we can rate casinos, so there are BTCGosu ratings and user ratings:

786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying ETH fees? on: October 06, 2023, 09:41:45 AM
...
Having enough Ethereum for transaction fees is recommended, especially during times of high transaction volume and increased Ethereum prices. Purchasing Ethereum during a bull run can be difficult due to the constantly increasing price, including the gas fee. Some cryptocurrencies may experience price increases followed by drops, so it's wise to buy now in preparation for such circumstances.

I am not sure how he bought some tokens on the ETH network without owning some Ethereum in the first place... anyway, if he plans to use his tokens one day, for selling or fun, he will definitely need some ETH if he wishes to move those tokens feely.

As all others advised, since OP decided to go for these tokens he should start buying Ethereum. And if we see some crazy spike with Ethereum transaction fees as before (or maybe even higher) he will need to be prepared for that.
787  Economy / Economics / Re: Women are more economical than men. on: October 06, 2023, 07:45:35 AM
I find it hard to prove such saying that women are more economical than man. First of all a lot depends from a person and how that person was raised. Second, what does "more economical" really means? Women and men have different tasks, different work, different needs. For example while buying food, women will spend less than men, but they both will cook different meals. Men would spend less in building material store. Third, I have never heard that men would spend whole salary on a bag and shoes (emotional purchase). As well as I have never heard that women would buy as huge as possible tv (even if it would fit poorly in the room) just because it is big and bigger than neighbors tv.

Well, you definitely have some good points here... We are raised differently, and we are all unique so we can't generalize this. For sure there are women who are more economical than men and men who don't give a fuck who has bigger "something", there are exceptions everywhere.

In my case, my wife is the one who is more economical than me. More restrained and down-to-earth, so she takes much more care about money and how it's spent. I am happy about that, in marriage it's important that at least one of us has more sense and keeps the house in the right place.
788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Educate yourself to be a frugal gambler on: October 06, 2023, 05:53:11 AM
Play for fun. If you are not playing for fun, you are doing it wrong. Gambling should be done to entertain yourself only, and always remember that gambling is not a sound financial investment. I have witnessed the horrors of people who blow their kids college funds and life savings on gambling at a Casino. Don't be one of these people. Have a daily or weekly gambling budget and learn which games you like and how to play them so that you can actually have much more fun playing them than just winging any game.
You are talking as if it easy to act such.

best to tell those to newly interested in gambling than completely gambler. and most not to be in addicted gambler.

We live and we learn... new fish or oldtimer we always learn new tricks. It's not easy to act in some ways, but if life forces us we will learn to adapt and we will learn to find new ways that will work.

I guess it's hard to combine "frugal and gambling" in one sentence, I think that all comes down to the deposits we make. It's hard to control the urge to play, but we need to find a way to control that urge and to deposit just what we can afford to lose in some period. If we lose we should just wait and not deposit for a week or two, maybe a month. We can be "frugal gamblers" only like that because once we make a deposit and start playing it's hard to play slow.
789  Economy / Gambling / Re: Restricted on casino bonuses on: October 05, 2023, 06:54:58 PM
This isn't anything new. Almost all gambling sites(FIAT and crypto) limit or outright ban players if they keep winning against them especially using all sorts of bonuses in the long-term.

Be realistic. They are businesses who are trying to survive which is why they limit consistent winners. Weird that you didn't mention the casino though.

It's a bit weird he didn't mention the casino name... that would be a totally different story, maybe some of us (if not many) would stop playing there.

Well, I understand that part that some casinos are just businesses that are trying to survive, but it's nice or fair to do this to players who have a winning streak. It's demoralizing for all old & new players who hope for some winning streak... if we know that we will be stoped in those moments we will change the casino right away.
790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Swapping Fee On Atisfy Is Very Cheap. on: October 05, 2023, 05:46:01 PM
It's clearly a shill account.

Opened and thread and most of random accounts with newbie instantly commented (tried, success, and recommended) ~LOL Usually, I skipped this kind of service who are bosting their service by fake experiences.

Good luck

Same here... I use swap services, and the headline attracted me, but after all these newbies commenting I am not feeling safe to open the site, even less to try it. I will definitely skip it, nothing here gives me confidence that this service will work.

We all like "very cheap" swaps, but sometimes it's better to pay a little extra just to be safe.

Can you build free robotic hospitals in every country or every city in the world?

Of course, all that can be done, it can be nice and good for everyone... but then "power" would have no meaning, and slaves would not exist. Damn money and the neverending race for money are making this world worse and worse.

792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Flip or Trade? What’s The Bigger Gamble? on: October 05, 2023, 05:29:33 AM
Regarding the age-old dilemma of flipping or trading, it's like choosing between two exciting games! I think both have their charms, but it depends on your risk tolerance and strategy.

This is well said, it's like choosing between two exciting games, and I can't agree more with that. Fliping coins or choosing any other lucky-based game can be compared with short-term trading, and what's better or more rewarding depends on our taste and preferences along with the strategies we apply. I guess both can be risky if we aim big, but there is excitement even if we chase some small profits over a longer period.

My choice is coin flip and similar gambling games... day trading is definitely not for me.
793  Economy / Gambling / Re: Quick outcome of 100 plinko bet in one second on: October 04, 2023, 06:56:30 PM
Maybe some people like it faster, but we don't get anything with this "trick"... it's Plinko, we should enjoy watching balls going down and waiting for some big hit. If that big hit comes, I wasn't lucky with Plinko in my last plays, but I enjoyed playing it anyway. So this trick is for people who wish to speed things up just for the sake of wagering, I don't see why else would anyone use it.
794  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game-🔴🔴🔴BET RED IN CRASH!🔴🔴🔴 Find More Unique Games! on: October 04, 2023, 03:58:34 PM
I had a bonus of $129 usd deposited with 40x wager requirement...

Well, BC.Game bonus has a lot higher wager requirement... it's "Unlock amount = wager amount * 1% * 20%".  So I am not sure what kind of bonus you got, and what that x40 wager retirement has with BC Casino. I have over $13k for unlocking, and it's going pretty hard for me to do it. Many people don't like this type of bonus, but it is what it is, the casino has the right to offer what they think is good... I guess it's on us players to choose to play here or not, if we choose to play it means we agree with this bonus type.

I hope you will solve your issue... good luck!
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I can't keep up with the High gas fees on: October 04, 2023, 09:58:12 AM
You're right. Once upon a Time there wasn't much choice, you either pay the crazy gas fees on ETH or you forget transacting. But today, there are so many cheap alt to choose from with low gas fees.
But the problem now is, what if,. for example you are buying a token and that token is only on the ETH network? There isn't much choice now, you either pay the high has fees or forget buying the token.

If you really like that token and you see the potential then go for it... I guess that paying high fees now can pay off one day if the token you chose to invest makes some significant rise one day. We all know it's hard to hit a gem among all those projects out there, but I still believe there are gems and some projects definitely have a nice future.
796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to play Poker with bitcoin and altcoins? on: October 04, 2023, 07:47:07 AM
You might want to check Chipstars.bet. They have dedicated poker section which you can play different types of it. It support bitcoin, stablecoins, and some selected altcoins on their platform so you have many choices to choose from.
Thank you, that looks cool! And that's actually what I am looking for. I'll check them later.

I agree, this image looks cool... I am looking for some good poker places as well, and Maverick Games also has poker https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5435912.0. I saw they have some free rolls too, but somehow every time I leave the registration for some other time. I will put both sites on my "to-do" list and I hope to find some free time for this in the near future. Anyway, if you try them share your experience with us.

I wish you the best of luck and maybe we will meet at a poker table.

Get $1 500 + 30% from Referrals
🤝 BetFury Referral Program 2.0 🤝

The headline sounds good. However, if we look at the terms of this new referral program in detail, we will realize that it is designed mainly for those who have a website or page on social networks that can generate huge traffic. For regular users, it seems to be an unpromising task because a user will need either more than 2k active referrals who have reached at least rank 2 or two active referrals (whales) who can reach rank 13 to unlock these $1,5k.

You hit the point Dwyane, for us amateur players there's nothing here... we can't even think about participating in this, who can get so many referrals? And even harder to find 2 whales who will reach rank 13... it's mission impossible for most of us.

Good luck to people who will try to get those $1.5k. But Betfury can do something for us small-time players as well...
798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Ever Made Such Mistake Before, But Won still? on: October 03, 2023, 04:25:19 PM
Well, I made such and similar mistakes before. Misclicking is something normal I guess, especially when we are doing more than one thing... I think that most mistakes were with auto betting settings, when I didn't check my settings before pressing the start button, and a few times I was very lucky with that.

Nice win! Sometimes we can get lucky even by making a mistake! It doesn't happen often, sometimes mistakes cost us, be happy after this victory and be more careful in the future! Good luck!
799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I can't keep up with the High gas fees on: October 03, 2023, 03:04:30 PM
You would really appreciate the fact that these 'high gas fees' are not as high as you think especially when you doing a large volume transaction let say  greater than 1000$ and you are being charged about 12$. But it becomes a concern when you are doing a low value transaction of about $30 and the charges are about 12$.
I think that's where I have a problem.

High fees are the problem... that's why we have some alts and alt-chains. It's nice when we have alternatives, and I am more than happy when I can use some of them. A few years ago we had a period with crazy high fees, since that time I haven't used Ethereum and ETH tokens, and I decided to not pay high fees ever again. Now we can use different chains with really low fees & fast transactions, and that is a great thing... we just need more services to start using them, more options are always better than just one or two.
800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble till old age or not on: October 03, 2023, 07:06:07 AM
I guess some of us will gamble even more in the future... with more free time we will be like those ancients in Vegas who spin slots all day, we will just do that from our personal computers in our homes. If we become wiser we will probably play with lower bets, without much pushing... in old age, it's not smart to push a lot and get too excited I guess, weak hearts will not be able to handle buying bonuses with all-ins. Smiley

When people like doing something they will do it as long as they can/live!
