IMHO segwit has nothing to offer Litecoin which has not gone to full transaction capacity other than being a test project for the bitcoin network . The segwit hype might work for ltc and result in a temporary bubble but I wouldn't count on it.

That's not money you go round throwing around but I would buy 5grand worth of bitcoins for holding and $500 for Ethereum then $500 would go into an ICO project and the rest I would keep it off the crypto chain.

Holding btc is a decent way to earn extra money but its not a guarantee that you will reap what you sowed. I would rather diversify my investment into altcoins as well to avoid losing everything at once.

Afaik we can say bitcoin is in both worlds of being a currency and stock

Afaik if war broke out one of the military tactics used will need to disrupt communication of the enemy which means the enemy won't have access to the bitcoin network to cut them off from doing any business.

books will give you very good experience and remember, best investor and trader is active reader.
I agree you will need to read lots of books and trading forum threads here, probably trading scams too to avoid been swindled and at the end of the day experience is the best teacher. And you need to keep up with Current affairs affecting cryptocurrencies politically and economically. |

As long as the media does not put much effort to educate the general public we shall not be seeing increased usage and as long as the central banks don't see a cut from the crypto or have control of it, it will remain a dark horse with not much people getting to use or know about it.
