781  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] titanicons.com - Deposits accepted, Withdrawls denied on: August 21, 2021, 08:22:42 PM
I'm so sorry for the OP for being scammed. "Secure deal feature"? You should have checked the site first. The site is never heard of. No reviews from trustpilot. For sure, the sites involved are interconnected with each other and only one scammer is handling it. Too bad, the OP can't get his money back in this case. Even top exchanges like Binance doesn't require minimum deposit of $500. You should have doubt its motive. Expensive lesson learned by the OP.
782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is EOS dead? on: August 20, 2021, 11:46:41 PM
No EOS its not dead, Bullish.com will developed by block.one and could be one of the biggest exchange in the future, also with EOS PowerUp you able to interact with the Network with very small fee.
In the short term, they have EdenOS which already developed and could be one of the greatest decentralized government model.

Maybe, they are not just visible these days. But I believe there are still developments going on. I do like this alt as I used it before in some of my trading, and their fee is really quite cheap and fast. However, the dev team may not be very active in updating the community. Their twitter is still active though - https://twitter.com/EOSIO.
783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a safe haven? on: August 20, 2021, 11:20:43 PM
some say it's safe, some say it's not. depending on the understanding, principles, and interests of each individual. for those who do not like volatility, and consider it very risky, it is certain to stay away from bitcoin, no matter how big the opportunities offered, he will prefer projects in the real world with official regulations from the government. while for those who have a freer spirit, will consider volatility as a good opportunity to make a profit.
safe or not depends on how we manage and determine the best strategy. so we have to put in a lot of effort and keep learning to adapt to the crypto ecosystem full of surprises.
Maybe you are right but the truth is that we can't consider the investment is a safe haven if we know how risky it was. if we just know that Bitcoin will reach $100k 1 or 2 years from now, that is absolutely we can consider it but we won't and that makes it so hard to think that we are totally safe plus the hackers around us.
That is my many had to say that "invest only the money that we can afford to lose" because we can't hide the truth on this from of investment and certainly we can't guarantee any assurance of our ROI.

We can't really tell an investment especially in crypto to be a safe haven. Even if we are talking bitcoin here, still the risk is there. Considering that its price is still very volatile. This is why you will always encounter piece of advice here about investing what you can afford to lose. This market is not a guaranteed one that you can tell to yourself, you will have the same money afterwards.
784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano and xrp the most gainer of the day. on: August 20, 2021, 10:19:17 PM
It is just because of the influence of bitcoin and ethereum. Whenever bitcoin first goes up, ethereum will go with the leader and then the altcoins will also go with the two leaders.
Bitcoin gets $49k as of this time while ethereum is at $3282 and about to get to $3300. In this rush, it is no question that we're on another bull run again and we don't know if it's going to reach $62000 again if it continues and pushes unstoppably.

Indeed! Even top alts like ADA and XRP follow the market trend of BTC. So there's no surprise that other alts are showing good vibes in the market not only ADA and XRP. But if you are a holder of these coins, better follow also their development progress so you know there's something going on with the network. The more you know, the better for you to decide what to do with your investments.
785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ARIVA — Cryptocurrency for travel & tourism payment and reward system. on: August 20, 2021, 09:42:51 PM
Tourism industry is starting to pick up because some countries are now allowing tourists as long as they are following the health protocols mandated by their government. So this project is just in time to take off. However, you need to look for reasons why some old blockchain projects related to tourism sector didn't materialize. And address those loopholes so you can emerge here successfully.
786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - 🔥 🚀 Minereum BSC (MNEB) is now live on Binance Smart Chain 🚀 on: August 20, 2021, 08:40:12 PM
Just discovered MNEB was airdropped to my wallet, But I'm reading there's a scam running on this token:

https://www.bsc.news/post/airdrop-scams-minereum-mneb-and-velochain-velo-land-on-binance-smart-chain

Can anyone here help me confirm if the tokens I received are legitimate ?

Also a huge concern that connecting metamask with the minereum website could lead to funds being stolen, any truth to this Huh
First, check the addresses of the contracts, find the correct address of the contract in this thread or on the official website to make sure that you have the original tokens. Also carefully read the rules for activating the address, it is simply impossible to transfer tokens without activation.

You can read in the previous posts or even checking the very first post of this thread. But to make your life easy, check their link at -

https://bsc.minereum.com/web3/

You will see that their contract address here - https://bscscan.com/address/0xd22202d23fe7de9e3dbe11a2a88f42f4cb9507cf

Also, so far, I haven't lost any funds connecting to their site, because you need to upgrade to either level 2 or 3, to start mining. But only when you upgrade to level 3, you can transfer the tokens that you mined to sell in the market.
787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Nobility Token — Revolutionizing Esports 🎮 on: August 20, 2021, 12:07:11 PM
I thought Mike Sancho is Wentworth Miller of Prison Break at first glance.  Grin Grin

Anyway, E-sports is rapidly growing industry and if they make this right, this will be a very lucrative business to traverse with. Now, the team should know how to explore e-sports in order for them to gain players from the gaming community. Also, they need to offer rewards or contests that will sustain the interest of players. The competition is getting tough remember.
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do whales manipulate the market? on: August 19, 2021, 11:55:34 PM
It's hard to say whales don't manipulate the market, with the large amount of capital they can dictate market prices. But sometimes this is difficult to prove. But if retail investors unite I think whales can be fought, an example that has happened is in GME stocks. Prices continue to soar as small investors band together to fight price manipulation and cause billions of dollars in losses to big companies

The manipulation of price can easily be done with low market cap coins, or those with coins that have very low liquidity. This is why, you can easily see them pump 100x or more and that you should avoid at all cost. As you may end up holding worthless coins. But for high market cap coins like btc, it is hard to manipulate even by whales. It is hard for them to talk with each other and make a move in the market.
789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ban, mission impossible on: August 19, 2021, 10:44:38 PM
If you have access to the Internet and a Bitcoin wallet, you can invest in buying Bitcoin.
But you need fiat to buy Bitcoin, this is part where government could interfere people from buy/sell Bitcoin.
I agree with you. To deposit and withdraw our Bitcoin on exchanges, we need fiats and bank services. If the government bans it, we will have difficulties in depositing and withdraw on the exchanges. Although we can get Bitcoin from bounties and trade it on exchanges, there should be time to convert Bitcoin to fiats. So, actually, we also need the government to allow Bitcoin investment.

In some way, we still do need the government in this picture. Just look at how we convert our btc to fiat, these local crypto exchanges are under the jurisdiction of their respective Central Banks. Unless, you will cash out via p2p but most services available are also asking for kyc documents. No matter what, government will play a role in this crypto adoption, we can't evade them in this scenario.
790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the price of Bitcoin variable and can it stabilize? on: August 19, 2021, 10:07:31 PM
It's no secret that the price of bitcoin often goes up and down like a rollercoaster. Despite being invented since 2008, Bitcoin only really started to take off in 2013. The digital currency started trading that year at around $13.50 per bitcoin. Prices rose in early April 2013. and the ups and downs continue to happen, this is what attracts bitcoin to its fans. If bitcoin became stable maybe bitcoin wouldn't be like it is now

The market movement is basically driven by supply and demand. So even after more than a decade in the market, still we are experiencing the volatility of its price. Stabilizing its value is I believe, still far from horizon. Even crypto experts can just speculate its value, and very rare that they can get it precise market price.
791  Economy / Exchanges / Re: which exchange give you signup bonus? on: August 19, 2021, 01:36:30 PM
Im sure Kucoin, Okex and Binance has sign up bonus if you register to their platform.

It's strange that I didn't receive any sign-up bonus when I created an account with binance years ago and every day I trade I don't see this option to create an account and receive bonuses, my account has been verified for years and even so I didn't receive a sign-up bonus, anyone already received this sign-up bonus when creating an account at binance?

I'm guessing that the sign-up bonus is only for fees or the person will need to trade a certain amount to qualify for a bonus, so I don't see why OP would be too interested in something that he would still have to deposit, then have to trade in a certain volume or value to qualify to withdraw such a bonus

Never had any bonus as well. I don't think there is sign up bonus in Binance and Kucoin. I have both in those exchanges and still actively using them, but never heard that they are giving sign up bonus.

Also, don't be attracted by sign up bonus, because that may be the feature of newly-launched exchange but come to find out they have no to small liquidity only. And it would be hard for you to get out your funds.
792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which tokens have a future? I need 3 of them on: August 18, 2021, 11:13:06 PM
Actually there are many altcoins that have a very bright future in crypto, but if you only need three, then I suggest you recommend ETH, BNB and Uniswap, these altcoins are the top 5 CMC
Uniswap isn't a top 5 altcoin but it is currently on top 11 so that's still a good and considerable top altcoin.
and guaranteed to have huge potential and prospects.  making it the best investment in the future.
I would partly agree and disagree on this. I'm also an investor of Ethereum and I know that we'll be making money from it soon but to say that it's going to be a guaranteed, that can somehow misled small investors that would only look at the pumps and won't consider any dumps.

ETH and BNB have high chance in the market for you to get good profits. The truth is, it is really hard to suggest about potential alts to hold and expect for good returns. We can read a lot of suggestions, but a lot of them also are suggesting coins that they are holding, they are biased on what they suggest here. So it is your responsibility to really scrutinize possible alts that you want to get involved with?
793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Nafty - The big token for the adult industry! on: August 18, 2021, 10:32:27 PM
I don't get it, what you mean by "team fully doxxed" while it just their name and his photos, you did not include any useful links to know them better. Where the others info? like their social media account, their site, etc.
I also see you have some brand ambassador, some of them already have millions of followers? how can we confirm that they are really your brand ambassador? can you show a link where they mention your project?

I think that's the new trend these days, saying that the team is fully doxxed to attract the investors. There is one good answer from the reddit here. And assess for yourself why a lot of projects are saying such statement.

https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/n2u327/what_does_renounced_ownership_and_doxxed_creator/

Also, haven't seen any adult-related project to be successful using blockchain technology. So let us see if this one will indeed be a hit in the market.
794  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin ever go down like 2018-2020 on: August 17, 2021, 11:59:04 PM
I think its very possible and likely probably in the near term. It looks like it is starting to follow the overall stock market in general pretty close. That being said as we approach tapering and some serious US Fed news next week in Jackson Hole there is a potential to see some accelerated selling in the stock market. With so many US institutions now holding BTC when there is a large sell-off in the stock market over the last year, we see the price of BTC also decrease. I hope that I am wrong but I don't doubt the possibility of a retest of the lows from a few months ago sometime between now and Oct.

I want to follow what will happen in the next few weeks and how the situation you laid out here will affect the market. Or the bitcoin market will oppose what should be happening? We know that btc market is full of surprises, it can pull a different turn when nobody expects it to be. Remember, couple of weeks ago, people are speculating that btc will go down even to 20k level. And look at where we are right now, trying to reach 50k again.
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: solana ecosystem coins give 100X on: August 17, 2021, 11:25:27 PM
I have never invested in a solana project directly. but I made quite a fortune from joining the airdrop on a project built on the solana network a few months ago, like Rope. op is lucky enough to profit from those projects, moreover solana is also in hype. although so far I haven't seen the previous project last long, it's still like a pump and dump. or is this just my feeling?

If there is no development afterwards, then high likely that it is just pump and dump coin. Be careful touching this kind of project because the ROI that you are seeing right now may be high, but, for how long? If there will be no actual developments, better get out while you are still in profit. Don't wait too long because you may regret it.
796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Altcoins Have Good Opportunities in the Next Year on: August 16, 2021, 11:19:22 PM

Which altcoin has the greatest chance of emulating Dogecoin's current state, is there any chance that other altcoins could take advantage of this in the future?

If you want something like DogeCoin I don't think will have one that we can accurately predict because Dogecoin is this year's biggest surprise because of Elon, now what we need to ask is what coin will Musk shill, just like he did to DogeCoin, it's not really the coin it's what these influencers next coin to shill, even a coin that is not on the top 10 can make a huge pump in the market.

That's not a very smart approach in my opinion. Hard to rely from popular personality about your next move. For me, I think, I will stick to btc, eth and bnb. With this top coins, I know, they will still be in the market even if we experience price crash. And they have good foundations in terms of development. I am more confident if I am sticking to these coins rather than coins with very uncertain future.
797  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC Go for Another All Time High This Year? on: August 16, 2021, 10:58:38 PM
The ongoing market move seems to be a transition from the bitcoin pumping towards altcoins. This looks like the market is towards a rise through the altcoins for some time period. Major price corrections could take place after this. There is more of the gradual growth moving the price within specific margin. Maybe someone's influence could cause big change in the market, without which there is very less chance for a new ATH this year.

And after the altcoin pump, where do you think those investors are going? Right, they will all move to bitcoin after a hard pump and dump on their favourite altcoin then profits and then switch back to bitcoin again. That's always been. the case for years, so we all know what's coming to us. Maybe by September we will see a huge jump and by November with the taproot release we might see a new all time high this year.

At least reaching $65k is quite possible as compared to other speculations of reaching by $100k. We already saw btc to surpassed the $60k mark so reaching the $65k is not impossible to happen. We need more good news from top companies or other governments showing support towards crypto. Or maybe, it would take only one giant company announcing the acceptance of btc in their system to see another huge pump. Who knows?
798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: End of memecoin season by Vitalik Buterin or not? on: August 15, 2021, 11:11:13 PM
~
It's sad what you see in this cryptocurrency market, someone wakes up and creates altcoin named after a Japanese fish or a dog name and so many people buy the coin making the coin creator become rich
This is going on for a long time and so is the reason some of the project developers are anonymous because they keep on changing with their ideas and they usually copy other source code and launch their own coin and in the end when everything is set and done the developer will be making millions and they move on to the next one.

And gullible investors keep on buying these worthless tokens. These crappy projects will not grow like mushrooms if there are no naive buyers. However, people are patronizing this kind of hype so these "developers" keep on creating crap projects. And then, people are blaming this scamming technique, but what we can do, is to be more cautious with our investments. Because they don't care if you are screwed as they all want is to get more money for their pockets.
799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you recommend staking? on: August 14, 2021, 11:49:57 PM
I was looking at staking my ethereum. The interest rate seems good and I found BlockFi.com which seems to be around 10% (not guaranteed rate though). Is there a risk of losing coins and is staking recommended? For Ethereum, which site pays the highest APR and is the most reliable/safest?

Thanks!
Staking your Ethereum is good imo, the only problem is that the return ain't that much just 10% APY, I would have adviced you to try staking other altcoins on another DeFi platform, the only downside is that DeFi platforms that offer high APY's are usually prone to rug pull or getting hacked and I wouldn't want you to get in the middle of it since DeFi platforms are targeted by hackers recently, stake your eth if your planning to hold for long term you could earn some rewards for doing so.

It is better to stake on an established platform rather than risk your funds to substandard defi offering high APY. A lot of DeFi platforms either exit the game via abandoning their site or owed to hacking (with suspicions of inside job). So it is better to stake your eth in popular platforms like binance or blockfi. They may not give the APY you want but they are considerably trustworthy.
800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][IEO] Sekoapy Exchange - is changing the world with cryptocurrency. on: August 14, 2021, 11:40:50 PM

Now there are many cryptocurrency exchanges, the trading volumes on them are very large, so there is a need for exchanges, since many people earn on the volatility of cryptocurrencies.

Indeed, there are a lot of cryptocurrency exchanges, since they are in demand and a lot of people earn money from trading, that in order to be attractive, the exchange must have good liquidity and useful tools for traders.

Good liquidity is the usual problem of a new exchange in the market. So they need to have good bankroll first to attract new traders.

And looking at the team members, is this a 2-member team only? Would be hard to establish a strong platform here if they are only 2 individuals working on this project. They have a lot to prove that this will not turn to a fly-by-night exchange. Do you know what I mean?
