781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We dont own enough bitcoin on: January 05, 2024, 12:11:17 PM
We will never have enough if we go with this type of ideals. There are people who are obsessed with collecting bitcoin. But don't let this go in your heads. The maximum we can do is collect every few coins once the price goes down but there is obviously a limit to this.

Investing in Bitcoin should be kept as a hobby or a side hustle. Not something to obsess over qne and crack your heads with it. There are many modes of investment and Bitcoin buying is only one of them.
782  Local / India / Re: How does Indian crypto exchange survive? on: January 04, 2024, 03:30:46 PM
The industry will never die out, that is the power of decentralization. Because of government's mismanaged policies they industry is suffering but we have to be hopeful that the future turnout will be different.

I dont know how the exchanges are managing but they have stopped appearing on News media of business channels and this means their costings are more than the earnings. From this you can assume that they are barely scraping to be alive and attempting to move other countries or shut down eventually.

Their mouthpiece was attempting to create a lobby with the Indian crypto users, but it will take time for the government to wake from their sleep.
783  Local / Mining (India) / Re: How well people here in india knows about Mining on: January 04, 2024, 03:26:53 PM
To be honest, my knowledge on mining is low but I know what stuff is involved, how it works and how one can start mining on their own. Its just that I never wish to do that because in my calculation the cost exceeds the returns at least in this country.

Here electricity costs are big and the average temperature is hot and humid meaning a higher cooling cost too. Plus getting ASICs here means they need to come from foreign - no company makes them here from scratch.
784  Economy / Economics / Re: The Jim Cramer affect on Bitcoin.... on: January 04, 2024, 03:23:00 PM
You can also compare them to that space psycho who makes trucks and launches satellites in order to connect human brains with what no and other bullshit. Whatever they say about crypto leads to pumps but they dont sustain and drop soon after, so dont follow them either.

In other words, dont follow anybody as financial advice expect your own self. If you see someone making big comments about something, assume that they are personally involved in it and you should steer clear.

At the current up and down position of crypto, anything can happen so keep both types of orders open and just wait and watch.
785  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ JacksClub.io ✨ Daily Contest with Amazing Prices | VIP Rewards | Free Faucet on: January 04, 2024, 03:16:16 PM
Jackclub.io owners please note that is a serious chat spam problem on your site. Getting a decent answer to a question is literally impossible on the chat which usually has some players who are experienced enough to solve simpler issues before the player has to move to the live support or email support system.

I see that there is a rainbot thing happening and active users are getting rained on, which is the point of the spam happening there.

You guys need to do something about it. Legit players are literally at the mercy of these spammers. Cheesy

Oh and this was the 1st post after the new year on this thread, so Happy Belated New Year!
786  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: January 04, 2024, 03:12:49 PM
Sorry but I'm just so skeptical on streamers who are winning an unbelievable win because our country is full of streamers that are fraud on their casino streams, just for the sake of promoting.
There are a number of youtube channels on gambling, you can find them out easily by some searching, I dont want to give them backlinks from this site.

If you go through their videos, they are often found with the "Specials" of the slot games and jackpots or big hands in blackjack and and so on. These are only 1% of their entire gaming videoclips and not the entire thing.

It is similar in these streams, they run these games for hours and on and hence the randomness kicks in at one point and gives them some big win.

I also hate streamers, but since stake started them, everyone else has to do it. Roll Eyes
787  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Coinunited.io - No withdrawal on: January 04, 2024, 03:04:49 PM
With so many trusted exchanges out there, why go for an obscure one with fake testimonials and crap written all over them?

Close to 2000$ is no small amount indeed it is quite a large sum when converted to common currencies of the Eastern part of the world.

I still dont see how they created some images of their name on certain public places as per as their website. However the legitimacy of the site is a concern and since the withdrawals are pending for quite a long time, this is a red flag indeed.

Try to use some other exchange that they local German community uses. You should find your local country mates in the local section.
788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's role in financial development on: January 03, 2024, 03:35:57 PM
There is an unspoken rule that you should invest in cryptocurrency the money you are willing to lose. And do not forget that investing in bitcoin is a long-term investment, it will not bring you a huge profit tomorrow.
I think we are not promoting this line much in the recent times, but it is an age old correct thing to do. Crypto has gain popularity and acceptance in increasing numbers and we tend to forget that it is a volatile asset and often outlawed in many countries, investing in which may lead to a unsolvable position in future.

Although investing in crypto is for the future, it on its own will not lead to financial development. For that OP needs to work on their general conditions, education, place of living and then think about bitcoin. Fiat is always the more important thing here and bitcoin comes secondary. Once livelihood and work is set up properly, they can start investing in crypto.
789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the tension make you take risk that are sometimes worth it? on: January 03, 2024, 03:25:19 PM
Gambling comes from the greed of humans and while games are going on tension builds up. One leads to another and the losses will lead to more tension - so its a vicious cycle indeed.

But the tension will not guarantee that you will win the next bet. Instead you are running the same odds and will likely lose again. While this might not be fun for some, a few addicted gamblers fake this as fun to cover up their shame.

Hence it is never worth taking a risk unless you have some skill on the game or you have some insider news. Usually both of these are a big no, so the safest way is not to gamble.
790  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 03, 2024, 03:22:14 PM
I think that makes it so much more fun and I have a chance to win it is the reason why I keep on staying here as well. I get that not everyone may feel the same way, but I do feel that way and I think it is the greatest feeling in the world. That possibility equals to such a huge win.
I guess you want to keep trying your luck on the lottery game because the randomness of the number of tickets is giving you hope. However I prefer keeping the lottery option turned off and instead I collect the Reward points in its place.

I find it better that way because once the RPs are accumulated at one point I can convert them all to satoshis. Consider if I have taken lottery tickets in their place, I would have wasted those over months and never actually won anything.

I would not discourage you from trying the lottery on and on, but do give this a thought.
791  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Is Bitcoin mining a profitable business? on: January 03, 2024, 03:17:50 PM
Consider the following factors:
1. Number of ASICs - the more you have them the better cumulative hashpower
2. Electricity costs - less is better.
3. Maintenance costs - less is better.
4. Cooling costs - less is better.

Now as a solo miner, you need to have a hashpower to be able to counter the combined hashpower of the all the miners in the world to be able to generate enough coins to either ROI and break-even or profit beyond break even point.

You can do the math yourself, I am not an expert in mining, but after 2013, mining on your own or even on a pool will cost you more than you can make.
792  Local / India / Re: do you want to learn about bitcoin from gary gensler? on: January 02, 2024, 03:08:50 PM
I would not discourage you from making summaries, because for that you need to understand the topic - that decoding process is important to get something in your head - a vital step in learning processes.

However I am skeptical about any media personnel about crypto or investing in general. I would rather verify with my own eyes and ears before putting my money in.

Procrastination is bad and to overcome this you need to find your passion - just doing something for the sake of doing it leads to a unfruitful outcome. Find something you love to do and you will not procrastinate at all.
793  Economy / Economics / Re: How influential is crypto worldwide? on: January 02, 2024, 03:05:08 PM
How long they have been running is one thing to consider when comparing like @Upgrade00 mentioned.

Moreover there are lot of differences between stocks and crypto. These are two different asset classes and its another apples vs oranges comparison here.

These companies are also assumed to have their own ownership of crypto which they may not show off to the public. Whatever be the statistics, I would play it same and get the best of both worlds. You need all types of assets in your folio to make it diverse enough to cover bad times.
794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Type of gambling and Intelligence on: January 02, 2024, 02:58:58 PM
I don’t think there is a connection between the game and intelligence) I think any game is more about skills and understanding the rules of the game, first of all, the better a person knows them and understands how his opponent plays, then he will play better accordingly.
He wont play better, he will have a better understanding of the rules, but knowing them does not give the player any sort of edge over the casino.

Whether poker players and all have higher intelligence? No, they are skilled but if they were so intelligent, they would be doing something else and working on something huge than sit on a table with cards.

However those who regularly play games like slots, I tend to have a feel that they are somewhat getting demented with time. Though I might be completely wrong.
795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos and gamblers are struggling with high tx fees.? on: January 02, 2024, 02:56:26 PM
players can just switch to using other crypto with a lower tx fees to prolong and sustain their gambling habit,....
The gambling habit is what drives the roadblocks away. Many sites have learnt how to cope up with increased fees. They will pre-credit your account from their wallet with a 1% fee - more money for them obviously.

In either case, altcoins exist to come to rescue for the addicted gamblers during such times and casinos rarely see much drop in traffic as the increased fees start becoming consistent over a week or so.

It is not another example of how addictive gambling can be.
796  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Weak or wise? on: January 02, 2024, 02:53:56 PM
In my opinion, a trader that has mastered his emotions to not stir him or her into being too greedy in search for all the profits in the market, works by his or her analysis and is satisfied with a given number on the chats to find an exit, that trader is a wise trader. Have that about you and all you need is a little consistency in your profit making and you would do well as a trader.
Being able to control the emotion to pass over the bad times is what makes the difference. The time when panic selling is occurring it is common to lose cool and step in the same direction as others are doing. But you could be in much greater future profits if you were to buy at the low considering it is bitcoin and that the price is now discounted for.

Quote
You don’t need or have to get a whole lot from a particular trade, not all the profits in the market are worth risking. You could easily run into lose and in most cases, it becomes more difficult to get out when a previously established profit margin starts diminishing. It tolls with your emotions.
It is not wrong to feel bad when the red market starts. But knowing that it is a part of a cycle, you can keep yourself from not swaying and be able to get over it.

Being wise here is tough and takes practice. Definitely not for everyone - those who cannot practice these things should avoid trading.

798  Local / India / Re: Shadow Ban on Crypto Exchanges on: January 01, 2024, 01:10:40 PM
Government database is not very secure. There are cases where someone stole data from government database and sold it to other companies.
That's my major concern and the only way around it is if exchanges have some kind of usage access requirements for the government.
Be assured that your data is probably already on the internet, so you have nothing to hide. The government's data leak is very common in India and recent events have made it very clear.

So whether giving KYC data to an exchange is safe or not? Chances are they already have that data and are only cross checking if you are telling the truth.

As long as you are law abiding citizen and are getting the crypto from clean sources, you should be fine. However this is a crude way of saying it.
799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying and Losing My First Bitcoin on: January 01, 2024, 01:01:06 PM
I have mostly earned bitcoin but I have lost some when I ran a lending business and it did hurt but eventually time healed those wounds.

I am currently using the bitcoin to invest in some casinos that have bankroll investment and am very enthusiastic about the returns. Dont be disheartened by some losses on HYIP sites, learn from then and dont repeat the same mistake. Instead make sure to increase your total in the coming years.

With increased mainstream coverage of crypto we are going to see great highs, so be prepared and the best time to start that is now.
800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling and religious restrictions on: January 01, 2024, 12:58:02 PM
Religion has been created by humans to control the humans itself and to keep them in a civilized manner - reduce the sins/bad things and allow a "central powerful figure" to idolize.

These things are not really logical in the world of science but faith can go forward with many good things, but its a personal choice.

With these things in mind, I think the religious control over people to control their sinful actions are gradually being lifted and that is why people gambling even more. Here crypto is not a factor, its just money in another form. If someone wishes to gamble, they can and its their own choice.
