Doesn't drywall burn?

That would make a pretty weak safe, no?

Its not a drywall, only gypsum.
... and its more safe and fire resistant than paper wallet.

p.s. ( Dont throw your cube in flame.  Cheesy )

Even if my storage was made of fire proof materials I wouldn't purposely throw it in the fire because why take the risk. It's not worth it just to see whether or not it can withstand the elements.
Better be safe than sorry. I think it's only really meant to add some protection in the event of fire etc.

There is anti fire paint based on acrylic acid, its cheap and easy to apply.

786  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When Receiving a Bitcoin Payment, What Information Is Made Publically Available? on: June 01, 2015, 03:32:43 PM
Yes, you only need BTC address to receive BTC.

Public information about transaction:

- BTC ammount
- sending bitcoin address
- receiving address
- transaction ID
- time of transaction

Fore more info check: blockchain.org

Don't spam. DannyHamilton has summed it up well. You don't need to make a rephrased post which you obviously missed a few things. Please avoid this if you value your account than payment.

So why you spam and say I am spaming.

I just try to be helpful and write short and clear answer.

p.s. (I didnt read DannyHamilton post)

797  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How safe is bitcoin address? on: May 29, 2015, 10:56:17 AM
Hello. How safe is it to input a bitcoin address into a site eg to receive bitcoins you need to give your bitcoin address. Can anyone then empty your account with this address? I use Coinbase address.
Thanks in advance.

Another good thing to do would be to invest in a Trezor hardware wallet.  They are considered to be incredibly secure.   They are around $100, so it just depends on how much BTC you have if it would be worth it to you or not.

I see that some people who use Trezor reporting about malfunctioning.
Better make BIP encrypted paper wallet, and spend that 100$ to buy BTC
