➥ Which style of avatars do you like better... like mine or these ones?

Quote from: the font still needs some work
The avatars that you have made looks way good to me than the other ones. I would love to apply one of those avatars of yours if we are allowed to apply those on our profiles?
782  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot - Crash with the lowest house edge on: February 19, 2024, 06:26:54 PM
The house edge set too low which is why MoneyPot can not offer lucrative affiliate program like others do. In one sense it's better for the players but in another sense they are missing out traffic which they could easily receive for free on their website if they would have an affiliate program.

I like the fact that Moneypot always wants to give as much as they can to their existing players.
Yeah, I highly agree with you, in fact most casinos believe in affiliate programs because those programs help them to get many high roller players but since their own house edge is low so their chance or earning huge money from this business model is also low as compare to others.

It's something helpful for players because when house edge gets higher the players lose more money on a casino but since Moneypot has kept it low that's why most players get chance to win many times. I heard the house edge of Moneypot gets higher sometimes in order to protect their bankroll but still most of the times it will remain as low as 1%, which is a great for players.

I believe that if they get more high roller players then they might afford to run affiliate programs and might be able to invest some funds for advertising purpose but since they aren't getting enough revenue then it makes sense to not relaunch their advertising program right now.
783  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustadice – Next Generation Dice on: February 19, 2024, 05:01:17 PM
I've reached an agreement with Leo Medina to sell bustabit and bustadice. While most of you know him as the operator of MoneyPot, he's worked with me as part of our developer team behind the scenes for several years.
It's a very surprised decision but if that's for the good of players and for the good of those platforms then I don't think anything is wrong with that. Moneypot is known name by the members of Bitcointalk becasue they have run their signature campaign for sometime on this forum a few week ago, I don't know if they are still running it or not but I hope Leo Medina will be able to handle those platforms very well.

It goes without saying that all users including investors are free to withdraw all their money at any time.
That statement is more than enough to convince all those people who invested on their money on the platform and it's also enough to convince the players who want to withdraw their funds. I'm quite sure most of the investors and players won't be withdrawing their money because they expect a lot from the platform.

784  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: February 19, 2024, 04:48:27 PM
I am skeptical if small gamblers are counted as early adopters, as when they are referring to it, they are talking about angel investors and strategic private investors
But noah said in twitter that people who gambled early, weight more the formula they are using to calclulate the airdrops. So, in short early gamblers are getting more for their money.

Although i wouldn't have my hopes up with a huge raise for people who didn't gamble a lot of money back then.
I think they will stick to their commitment and if they said about early adopters then all those members who played on their platform should be considered not only the angel investors or private investors. I'm sure each player who adopted them deserves to get some share of the airdrop.

I know that the ones who played with more cash might get more value from the airdrop but the ones who even played with minimum should also get some share from it. You should not lose hope because if they are truly generous then they will also give share from that airdrop to those users who gambled with less money.
785  Economy / Reputation / Re: Standing Strong Against Unjust Attacks: A Call for Community Support on: February 19, 2024, 04:41:05 PM
I have personally worked on a task of Blackjack.fun and I can surely say that they paid me for my work. That's enough for me to believe that Blackjack.fun is a reliable platform and they value their players and all those members who do some task for them. In fact I wasn't directly working with Blackjack.fun for the project, it was mediated by a third person, but when I contacted them, and when they verified that I have done the work, they paid me for that work. It's a proof that they value all those people who somehow work for them or who use their casino.

I also noticed that the original announcement thread of Blackjack.fun was locked and that's the reason some people bashed them. But, now they came with this thread to clarify that they will comeback to this forum and even start a signature campaign once again which's a pure sign of generosity. I believe they value feedback of Bitcointalk members and they want to have presence on this forum. I'm very sure that they'll get good feedback from the members of this forum because they haven't done anything wrong with anyone and they should not be treated as such.

As a Hero member of this community I think I somehow support them because they paid me for the task and which's enough for me to understand that they aren't unjust people and they really value good work. If they can support those who completes a task for them then I believe they also support their players. I hope they will get good response from other members of the forum as well and that might help them get motivated and return to this forum once again.
786  Economy / Services / Re: 3 Jobs available on: February 19, 2024, 04:21:45 PM
I have created an account at that site with the help of a VPN and account was created without any issue and after creating account I also posted my bid via that VPN IP address. I want to ask that using a VPN  to create account at that site won't cause any issue?
787  Economy / Reputation / Re: Plagiarist DiMarxist is back. No signature ban? on: February 19, 2024, 05:56:06 AM
If such users got a second chance then they should be allowed to improve themselves, improvement doesn't come right away it takes time to improve yourself. Let him do his posting and if he plagiarizes once again then and only then you should report him otherwise I don't think it's worth it to take action against those who were given 2nd chance by Cyrus.

People do learn from their mistakes and once someone learns his/her lesson then that person never repeats it. I have gone to post history of that guy and I don't think that any of his new posts are low in quality. It would be great if you can quote or mention the post that you think does meet the quality standards of this forum?
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About PI Network trend. Is this coin worth holding? on: February 18, 2024, 09:38:58 PM
It is the worst coin and it's a total trash, the ones who are mining it are wasting their time and the ones who already have it are also wasting their time by holding it.

There won't be any liquidity of this coin and no one will get a penny because this coin's main net might not get online anytime.
789  Economy / Services / Re: 3 Jobs available on: February 18, 2024, 08:14:44 PM
THESE ARE NOT MY JOBS. I am just sharing them.
I have noticed that the 2nd job has a budget of 15 ETH and the 3rd one has budget of 2 ETH. How could we know the one who needs those jobs to be done will pay us. workingforbitcoins.com seems like a freelancing platform to me, if I'm not wrong then they won't be paying us. So who is going to pay us?

I'm willing to do those jobs as I'm quite good at excel and I can write quite good crypto content but I don't think that I will get paid if I complete the jobs, however I'm willing to take risk and apply for those jobs and see if I get paid or not.
790  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK SHADY/SCAMMY BEHAVIOUR. WATCH OUT GUYS on: February 18, 2024, 06:32:12 PM
After reading the original thread and almost each post of the 1st page I can surely say that they haven't scammed OP but they really used shady marketing tactics to enticed OP via that mail and that's the reason he deposited money and played on their platform.

I must say that money is not free and OP should learn a lesson that whoever says that you're going to get free money then there is some kind of shady marketing behind that. I won't say that FJ is a scam casino or it did something wrong because most casinos do that especially when someone avails their bonus.

OP, now it's your own choice either to complete your KYC information or to let that $50 of yours sit in their account forever. KYC is in their terms and they can ask for it anytime, but surely the way they force users to do KYC isn't fair.
791  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 Official Partner of Newcastle United Football Club on: February 18, 2024, 03:58:33 PM
Usually, I take more risk when it's free money. I could have waited and withdrawn the money if I wanted. But, I decided to play some games and participate in a contest. I was indeed aggressive. But, I didn't expect a couple of reds in a row when I am placing bets on low odds. I know that nothing is impossible in gambling. Yet, I tried and fucked up. LOL

Usually, I enjoy these games. But, I don't know what got over me and why I placed that much high bet. But never mind, it was free money after all. I don't want to remember that anymore so I don't regret gamble it away.
Talking risk is an important part of a gambler's life but man, even if you got the money for free it was yours and could have withdrawn it to enjoy it. However, if you think that free money isn't worth enjoying and it's good to take risks with it then that's also okay.

Crash games and aviator games are quite fun to play and they are addictive as well. Sometimes on those games we see many red multipliers in a row, I have played a crash game a few months ago and I got at least more than 18 red multipliers consequently.

I won't say that I don't place bets, in fact I also place bets and lose sometimes and sometimes I win but now a days I don't bet on casino games but try my best to bet on sportsbook as that's more convenient for me and the chance of wining is also higher in sports games.
792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first time utilizing the Bitcoin ATM…. on: February 18, 2024, 09:56:50 AM
OP if you have utilized the Bitcoin ATM machine, good for you, but I personally would never prefer a Bitcoin ATM machine to either buy or sell Bitcoin. The main reason for that is I don't really need it because I can easily buy and sell Bitcoin without the need of that ATM machine so why should I worry if I don't use it.

How much you have withdrawn from the ATM, and I'm quite sure that Bitcoin ATM's tend to have way higher fees than traditional ATM's. When I withdraw money from a normal ATM using my debit card I pay far less than 10 cents to cash out from it.
793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the rules for finding wallets on: February 18, 2024, 09:46:00 AM
Like the title says what are the rules. If I miraculously got a private key to a wallet that had Bitcoin in it but was not mine originally then does that mean I now own the wallet like finders keepers and is there any legality issues with this in the usa,uk,canada, south america. Is this more of a morality should you or should you not.
No one miraculously get someone else's Bitcoin key unless he steals it or hacks it from that individual. It's totally illegal to transfer any amount from that wallet because it's not your wallet and you aren't the owner of it.

In most cases when an owner has a Bitcoin wallet they keep the wallet address with them all the time and when someone makes a transaction out of it then the wallet owner can file a theft case against that thief.
If you really want to be safe from legal actions then don't do anything with that wallet.

Can you tell me that how in this physical and practical world someone could get a private key of a Bitcoin wallet miraculously? As far as I know, no miracles take place in technical world unless someone does a shady thing and considers it a miracle.

794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto White Paper on: February 18, 2024, 09:30:48 AM
Do you think Bitcoin has gone against Satoshi Nakamoto’s original intentions and embarked on a non-decentralized path?
No, Bitcoin hasn't gone against Satoshi Nakamoto's original intentions and it's currently still the same Bitcoin it used to be when Satoshi created it. I know you're trying to say that now centralized exchanges are somehow as main way to purchase Bitcoin and something like that, but that doesn't mean that Bitcoin is centralized itself. Those are just exchanges which someone may need to use in order to purchase Bitcoin and by the way it can still be purchased from decentralized exchanges.

Regulators have always been trying to regulate Bitcoin and make it regulated but that's not possible for anyone to do. Now, it's more considered as an asset than a p2p payment system but still it works as a p2p payment system and no one controls it other than the wallet owners. You still don't need any third party's permission to transfer your Bitcoin and that's enough to say that it's still as decentralized as it used to be during the times of Satoshi Nakamoto.
795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is it letting the bank know that you are a BTC Investor? on: February 18, 2024, 09:22:43 AM
Question please: was the official question on me necessary? And was it wrong of me letting her know that I am a BTC investor? My conscience just keep saying "Hello man, you fucked up talking about BTC out there".
Yes, the bank officials question was a valid one, they ask such questions in order to know that why a customer needs to spend a lot of money and they need that information in order to upgrade the accounts. You haven't done anything wrong by letting her know that you're a BTC investor because now everyone especially the educated ones know and understand BTC and they also know that many people invest in it so they won't do anything that would harm your account or anything else.

They only wanted to know such information in order to upgrade your account nothing else. I don't think that they will take any action against you or they will monitor your account. Now they understand that you can be a valuable customer so they won't bother you anytime. In fact, you don't have to worry by thinking that they will consider you wealthy because you invest in Bitcoin, there are many account holders who might invest millions on stocks and who might be customers of that bank, so just chill and relax.
796  Other / Meta / Re: Icopress ' Merit Source Application 🚩 on: February 18, 2024, 01:50:02 AM
I believe, he is already doing this, he follows a lot of users, especially those, who are members of the signature campaigns he manages. But of course with the opportunities if a merit course he would be able to do more, appreciate more quality users and motivate them to to their best here in the forum. I think he has a decent understanding of who deserves merits. And this is exactly the quality that the merit source needs.
Yes, he's a quite good and active guy who gives enough time to this forum and read some good posts of the members that are part of signature campaigns that he manages, not only those members but all the members who make good posts are noticed by him. I think he highly deserves to be a merit source and I believe that once he becomes a merit source, he'll fulfill his responsibilities in the best way possible. i fully support his application and I believe Theymos should also consider his application.

If icopress is made a merit source, you can be very sure that merit distribution will be biased and influenced by icopress' business interests. There is no way that it will not be influenced by their business interests, and it would be naive to think that icopress will take an unbiased approach to merit distribution.
What a way to change your statement from favor of an application to against that application. I don't know what lead you to think that Icopress is no longer fit for a merit source position because to me it seems more like a personal issue rather than a genuine one. As far as I know, Icopress mostly give merits to the good posts only and he's not someone who would favor the ones who are in his best interest.

As a campaign manager he has the right to favor advertisers and deal with them professionally but that doesn't mean that after becoming a merit source he may send merits to the advertisers only so he can please them for his own best interests. That's a totally false statement against a reputed member like Icopress. I highly disagree with you in that regard and I believe that majority of the members will also disagree with you.
797  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 Official Partner of Newcastle United Football Club on: February 17, 2024, 07:16:04 PM
My luck was too bad actually. I placed a 5 Euro bet and my auto cashout was at 1.2x, it was a loss bet and I went to a 40 euro bet and then an 80 euro. These three losses in a row drained my balance.
Man, you followed a weak strategy and that's why you emptied your balance. Trust me Martingale strategy and its variations are the worst out there and I must share that I also lost because of following that strategy. Although, you didn't had a very high multiplier but sometimes our luck really makes us lose and your loss is best example of it.

Btw, you lost your money too fast in a some kind of aggressive way, I recommend you to be more careful next time and especially be careful from that aviator thing that's a monster which sucks out money so badly on the other hand it's a goldmine for lucky ones.
798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Well Prepared For the Bull Market And So Far In Bitcoin Investment. on: February 17, 2024, 07:10:31 PM
I'm very happy to see that you have finally shifted to Electrum wallet and saved your private keys and seed phrase in private locations. You now own your coins because the keys are yours, trust me as long as you don't tell anyone about those keys and seed phrase then you are safe. I wish you best of luck and hope to see you getting more mature as a Bitcoin investor. I also hope that you may have good return from your investment.
799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Escape Debt with Gambling: A Dangerous Cycle on: February 17, 2024, 07:03:32 PM
I have thought about that but considering the financial mess my friend is in now I could not. I have to think about him first rather than the casino as he is married and has two kids. It is not that he is not working both he and his wife are earning a decent amount of salary. The problem started five years back when due to COVID-19 he lost his job and at that time his wife was not working. There are many issues related to this guy who is my friend and some of them cannot be discussed openly in the forum. I appreciate your suggestion, thank you.
In that case you should try to find an ethical way to help your friend who needs money rather than stealing the money from a casino. Man, you should keep in your mind that casinos are also run by people who spend a lot of money on casinos in order to earn from the business model, some of the casinos go bankrupt if they don't get success, if someone exploits those casinos then that person is somehow taking money of those workers who work on that casino. It's some kind of stealing from a casino and giving it to your friend. Your own inner self will always tell you that whatever you have done was not a moral act and you'll feel guilt whenever you remember that you did a crime in order to help out your friend.
800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you beleive in the concept of "Luck"? on: February 17, 2024, 06:54:45 PM
Having a higher level of skill does not make you luckier but it can help you to get better results, as an example lets suppose you like to play Texas Holdem and you receive a pair of pocket Aces, the poker player with a low level of skill will not know how to play their hand correctly and they will not make much money with it, but an expert player can take the same opportunity and earn a huge amount of money out of it, showing that luck does in fact smile to those that are prepared.
Sure, that will help you if the other players of the table are less experienced but if they are also experienced poker players then your luck determines that either you'll win the game or not. Luck is in the cards, if you have pair of aces but none of those aces are shown in cards of the table and one of the other players only has got two hearts and in table also comes up with 3 hearts then that guy will get a royal flush and you'll end up losing even if you have two aces.

It's mostly our luck that determines the result, I do believe that experience and skills are also important to some extent and using of your mind is also important but the thing that makes you a winner is always going to be your luck. The ones who are new at poker will end up losing no matter how lucky they are by nature but they will lose only because they don't understand that how the game works but if they understand everything and are lucky then will win a lot.
