783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins on: January 13, 2018, 07:06:17 PM
This guy has lost 103 bitcoins he mined back in 2011 and then lost his wallet dat file similar to what I have done but wow this guy must be gutted the amount of money he has lost compared to me

His Address    166BuLPWHUjqoqiYp5rGE3B5r5AmqgHpoL    Final Balance   103.20832384 BTC

So many people have the same problem and I wonder just how much Bitcoin is stuck not being able to be used Sad

He says "I used to mine Bitcoin back in 2011 and I lost my wallet.dat file (through several stupid moves on my part). It's got approx 103 BTC in it, anyone is welcome to it, I've given up trying."

WOw! imagine of I can get all the Bitcoins, I will be a great millionaire here in our country. And I will try to recover that Bitcoins.
784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Laptop Stolen with Bitcoin Wallet on: January 13, 2018, 06:27:41 PM
My laptop got stolen a few hours ago. It had all my data including bitcoin too.
Fortunately I had the seeds with me and I have now installed Electrum on my work machine and recovered the wallet with those keys.
It also asked for a password and I have gone with a new one. The wallet is still Synchronizing.

Now my question is, are my bitcoins safe now? Do I need to do anything else? The stolen laptop has the electrum in it, what else should I do to make sure that my bitcoins are secure?

Just pray that the one who took your laptop does not understand any about crypto. But I hope that you have something that would still access your account.
785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why invest in bitcoin on: January 13, 2018, 04:59:23 PM
why invest in bitcoin when u can invest in real stocks market?
The reason why you need to invest in bitcoin is the income that you could get if you invest on it. Furthermore, we all know that bitcoin is a good investment for long term and it is because of the price on online market. You can also invest in stock market but I will still invest in bitcoin than investing on real stock market.

Yes, It will do you a lot in the future when you invest for the long run. It will make you rich without you knowing and probably will make you power! Thank you because of crypto Im rich!
786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Can We Make Sure Bitcoin Never Ends? on: January 13, 2018, 01:05:48 PM
We can never make sure bitcoin never ends. But we can try by spreading the benefits that it can provide to our current society especially the blockchain technology. Every little thing helps in it's continuity.

Yeah, but somehow people tend to believe that the role of Bitcoin is just making a lot of people rich in just a short while.
787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Bitcoin discussion .... on: January 13, 2018, 12:51:57 PM
Warren Buffet decides not to join the crypto community because he said once that he will never invest on something that he does not understand in.
788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't there more women in Bitcoin? on: January 13, 2018, 12:26:21 PM
As I know, there are many women that are joining the crypto currency community here in our country. But still men are in a majority.
789  Other / Off-topic / Re: Everybody is joining.. on: January 13, 2018, 10:44:27 AM

790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My way. on: January 13, 2018, 10:02:19 AM
The technology of BTC took me to it. And its worth holding me back.
In my country, many people have become billionaires thanks to BTC, ETH, ...

That is absolutely true. Here in our country also many people went from poor to absolute Millionaires! Now, I have to catch off with them.
791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm late! on: January 13, 2018, 09:29:40 AM

793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will die if this is not sorted out on: January 13, 2018, 07:11:10 AM
Bitcoin and other crypto coins will die a slow death if they do not sort out the high transaction fees and the stuffed up slow arsed networks. People will just get fed up with it in the end  Angry

Well, people tend to go with the flow with our community, it will always depend on the people if they want to invest in crypto, well this way they can get to a max profit by just investing to a coin, so does they care about the fee anymore?
794  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pinakamurang fee on: January 12, 2018, 01:25:49 PM
actualy mura na yang nag mahal lng yan dahil sa price ng bitcoin kya wag na tayo mag reklamo kasi pag wala miner d mapapa bilis process ng send natin ng fund kikitain din natin yan eh subra subra pa.
795  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Beside of coin.ph any suggestion as digital wallet? on: January 09, 2018, 10:30:54 AM
Since nag sstart palang po ako may masssugest po ba kayong digital wallet beside of coin.ph? Thankyou po:)

bro ito tandaan mo coins.ph ay hnd maganda for storing bitcoin good for exchange lng yan for fiat so pag gusto mo mag store ng btc you can make account in blockchain or find some wallet that using privatekeys para secure or use nanoledger.

798  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's the biggest problem with EXCHANGES right now? on: January 05, 2018, 04:58:53 PM
What do you think is the biggest problem/what's lacking with current crypto exchanges? There are quite a few of them, they're making hundreds of thousands a day and yet I can't help but notice some things like...

-> Terrible, inexistant support (on most)
-> Verification takes weeks
-> Reliability (uptime) sucks

Personally what I'd like to see most is an exchange with FLAT FEES. Wtf why are all percentage based? With stocks you usually pay like $5-$10 per order. Here you end up paying hundreds if you trade bigger amounts.

So... what's yours?

the verification is not the problem of exchange its from the blockchain and miner.
most is the support and the server lag of the exchange i will be better if the upgrade there server so we can trade smooth.
799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: January 05, 2018, 04:55:16 PM
Bitcoins are sometimes said to be a great investment, while others claim the digital currency is one of the best ways to send or spend money online. It’s true that there are a lot of benefits that come with using Bitcoins, but what are some of the Bitcoin disadvantages?
Here are some:
1.Exposure to Bitcoin-Specific Scams and Fraud. ...
2.Black Market Activity May Damage Reputation and Usefulness. ...
3.Susceptible to High Price Volatility. ...
4.No Chargebacks or Refunds. ...
5.Potential to Be Replaced by Superior Cryptocurrency.

but all of that disadvantage is more in fiat money bitcoin is less more in fraud and less in crime unlike fiat thiers  alot of crime involving and bitcoin is more secure dan our fiat aslong we  have the privates keys of our wallet .
Kailangan e monitor mo palagi ang gpu if good working palagi ,provide some good ventilation dapat nd ma initan ang gpu ng mining rig mo.
