781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum May Surpass Bitcoin’s Market Cap in the Next 10 Years on: December 21, 2020, 12:03:06 PM
There's no stopping Ethereum now Eth 2.0 is coming and they are still developing many new investors are coming into the market, they are picking the most progressive coin in the market and Bitcoin and Ethereum is the most progressive coin in the market, but many investors are now looking in Ethereum and make it as equal to Bitcoin in their portfolio distribution.
782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $WAVES to hit $10 price soon? on: December 20, 2020, 02:10:01 PM

About the price:

Waves was at $2 in October but at the time of this post, it is at $7.6. The recent high was at $8.7.

What are your opinions on $WAVES in the short, mid and long term?

It's one of the best performing coin in the market, all the others are struggling but Waves is steadily climbing there's a big possibility that like Bitcoin Waves will also set it's new all time high, it's attainable it will reach $20 next year if bull run continues to be the trend in the market.
783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price in 2020. on: December 19, 2020, 04:03:42 PM
Ethereum price is doing great from its old price when 2020 was starting, even though they did not reach their new all-time high before the closing of the year, at least the price is much better than 2019, and there is so many great news coming in Ethereum community, they will record their new all-time soon and it will not be long.
784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins will reach all time high on 2021 on: December 19, 2020, 03:34:14 PM
It's only applicable to old altcoins, altcoins that have proven their potential in the market over the years, and those that have a strong community to support them in times of bull run, I also have a short list of altcoins that will also have their all-time high these years, the most number of altcoins are between 10 to 30.
785  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought BTC at 23.5K$ on: December 18, 2020, 10:14:32 PM
By seeing the increasing in price rapidly I invested in bitcoin. Was it the perfect time? What is the prediction of price for now with reason?!

If it's additional to what you've had it's ok provided that Bitcoin is not going through a correction period much lower than when you purchased it,
I hope what happened to those who bought in the 2017 all time high will not happen to you, but I guess there's no stopping for Bitcoin to skyrocket because of the many development.
786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Email address exposure in spreadsheet on: December 18, 2020, 11:30:52 AM
Addition to email address exposure, some managers ask to fill country you are from in joining google form and later expose that in spreadsheet. What is that for? Is this a "short" KYC ? While email is often enough to connect person to his deeds, exposing his country will greatly deanonymize him. Ever see confusing lines in bounty joining form - skip it. You identity cost more than a chance to earn.

I'm ok with email because you can always create emails specifically for that campaign but asking more for your nationality or anything related to your personal info is not good if you are not a fan of KYC don't join this campaign that will compromise your sensitive details, but on a legit project, I will have to cross the bridge when I get there.
787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you take loan(s) to invest in crypto? on: December 18, 2020, 10:53:47 AM
If you are a regular Twitter user and happen to follow a bunch of influencers or investors, there are high chances that you will have gone through some of the tweets claiming someone has borrowed a loan from bank to just invest into crypto. If not yet, check it here. Well, this is one really  interesting topic so I though why not discuss here.

What do you think of taking loan(s) to invest in crypto? What's your input? Have any of you done this already? Isn't this crazy?

It depends on the situation and the time, timing is very important, if you take a loan on the month of August with maturity in the month of February and you invest it right away in Cryptocurrency and you are still holding it until now, if you sell it now then you are in a huge profit, but this is not always a case, because there's always volatility in the market.

789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The DeFi Red Flags on: December 12, 2020, 11:30:43 PM

4. Poor and/or plagiarised whitepaper
This one is a no-brainer. From copied whitepaper content, blog news these guys copy content from successful projects and gleefully slam it on their whitepaper. Many times they are successful with this ruse.

5. Audits
I have made it a point of duty to always check if any DeFi project I associate with has an audit with a reputable and well-known firm. Audits simply mean if there actually is a real project and whether such tokens exist.

Final Thoughts
Never take my word as gospel. Some DeFi can still exit scam or rug pull even after fulfilling these conditions. Remember: ALWAYS DYOR

Number 4 and number 5 is very important I have seen a lot of DeFi projects reported because of these two things Poor and/or plagiarised whitepaper and  Audits, getting audited is very important because this is a smart contract-based project, it should be checked if there are loopholes on the project and the smart contract will be used as intended to be.
790  Economy / Economics / Re: Sweden Explores Moving to a Digital Currency on: December 12, 2020, 04:13:01 PM

Countries like Sweden spend a lot in public amenities and if those expenses are on a blockchain, the possibility of inefficiency and corruption will become lower still. I wish more governments around the world could take care of people the same way.

Sweden is a good model they have a well-placed system that can make implementing digital currency much easier, they could become a good model for those who like to launch a digital currency but like OP said it will become a direct competitor of Bitcoin but it will also promote Cryptocurrency usage.
791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pain of bounty hunters on: December 12, 2020, 03:30:06 PM
Bounty hunter have some painful thing in this space. The hunter hunt many project but most of the project are scam and most of the project token are not listed any exchanger. So,the hunter don’t get proper profit. Many project give low reward. That was the panful matter for the bounty hunter.

Unfortunately, this is something that we have to live as a bounty hunter it's hard to be perfect, finding a project that will turn out to be gold I have a lot of shit tokens in my wallets but I just keep on moving and keep on finding the right project to promote its part of the game either you quit or you move on and accept the situation.
792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptopia Claim without KYC on: December 12, 2020, 03:01:07 PM
Many of us signed up for Cryptopia knowing there was no need for kyc. Identification was only required if fiat was trade.
Why are id documents required for any account now, even if they have no fiat currency?
Once they have verified via email, control questions, user and password, that I am the legitimate owner of an account that does not contain fiat money, why ask me for more documents?

I'm glad that I got all my coins out there before the bad events now there is no more retrieve and I don't have to go through KYC I don't trust Cryptopia anymore, I have done KYC on other exchange but not with an exchange under liquidation because they will soon be out of existence.
793  Economy / Economics / Re: Cause of Covid Vaccine and it's Value on: December 12, 2020, 02:26:55 PM
To reduce the spread of the covid 19 virus, we need a vaccine, and now there are some vaccines ready to be released on the market this coming year 2021.

In my country there are some barangays/places to be vaccinated first. The question is, is it safe? What will be the effect on the person being injected?

You can trace the fear of people to its possible effect. There are people interviewed who really do not want to get vaccinated out of fear. Even me, I have doubt on this vaccine after what happened to the Dengvaxia vaccine which caused the deaths of some children's here in our country.

Aside from the possible negative or positive effect of this covid vaccine, we need to consider also the value of it.

We have no choice but to get vaccinated or get infected and die from CoVid, it's bitter to swallow but we have to take it, they have spent a lot of times and spent a lot of money just to come out a vaccine because this is the only solution we have right now because we can never be sure if we are going to be fine if we get infected with CoVid.
794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 10, 2020, 02:53:28 PM
I am very concern on Logan he is not a fighter on Mayweather's caliber, Floyd can inflict punishment on him but he cannot harm Mayweather because of his skill, he can dodge punches counter punches and Logan is not a professional fighter to keep up with Mayweather skills of course people do not want a stage fights like WWE although an exhibition fight they have to show that they are fighting.
795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ]: Boxing - Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev on: December 10, 2020, 01:38:11 PM

Nah, I believe that Joshua will win, but not with a KO.
As more realistic tactic I see running-around that Joshua used in the second Ruiz game. Pulev is old.

I will bet Joshua to win with a unanimous decision!

Joshua has a huge edge from all angle but he should knock Pulev out, Pulev is old he was knock out by Klitscko when they fought it should be easy for Joshua to knock Pulev out so he will have an impressive win going for the much awaited Fury encounter since Fury just come out from a very impressive knock out win against Wilder.
796  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Primedice = Prison for your money on: December 10, 2020, 12:09:36 PM
They probably just want to check if you're not from a restricted jurisdiction and whether you're not already a wanted criminal laundering money through their website.

If that is the case, OP should have a valid reason why he deposit and made a withdrawal without doing anything, OP should know that every withdrawal and deposit are being tracked for validity and it's a big warning sign if do that, no reputable gambling site will let you do that, because they do not want to become a tool for money laundering, they will be included in trouble in case.
797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Could Hit $1 This Year on: December 09, 2020, 03:54:19 AM
XRP at $1 – XRP’s Bullish Trend to Begin
Ripple, a platform that aims to provide seamless, hassle-free, and low-cost cross border payments, has recorded its growth on many blockchain entities. The native token of Ripple, XRP is also expected to have a bull run with a price possibly touching $1.

XRP gains 7% against USD
Digital asset XRP has taken the crypto market by storm. With an impressive 7.40% increase in the last 24 hours, XRP is currently trading at $0.483125.

The Altcoin is holding the Market capital of $21,899,173,284 with $16,252,703,967 trading volume.

I find so funny that people are shilling XRP to go through $10 or even more this year when it is having a hard time to make it in the $1 level, if before the snapshot it did not reach $1 or even more I don't think it will reach this year, their biggest airdrop cannot even help to make it past $1 so what will make it reach that price?
798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone who have worked or currently working in casino? on: December 09, 2020, 03:11:24 AM
It's like you are inviting them to betray their employer and their source of income, if they hater their employer they will do so if they love their work they are unlikely to expose it, and if you are going to ask for their advice on how not to lose they will answer in their favor if there is money coming in from your bet they will have a bonus.
799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Adaptability is very important on: December 09, 2020, 12:13:02 AM
Be it a newbie, expert or professional bitcoin and crypto currency trader or crypto currency investor with adequate skills; you definitely need to understand how to adapt to market situations.

What does adaptability entails? Adaptability teaches you and lets you know when to switch from "sell at resistance" to "buying the breakouts of resistance" within split seconds. Know this and be at an advantage especially during price correction that occurs during bull run of prices.

If you are an active trader you need to learn this, if you are a long term holder you can just check the market to see if you are doing fine as a long term holder, learning to do a shift is very important this is how we make profit timing is very important and insight of course and it also depends on what coins you are holding for short term and long term.
