7801  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam alert : Exrates exchange is stealing money don’t deposit on: February 20, 2020, 03:12:42 AM
Is there anyone know any coinfirm that i can contact to get my money

Firstly I am sorry about you getting scammed. You are not the first and you will not be the last person to be scammed but I really hoped you had researched about them before you sent your funds to them.

Just to let you know coinsbit, p2pb2b, exrates and whitebit are all scam exchanges that are connected with the same group of scammers that have one Ukrainian super-scammer called Valerii Solodovnyk as a common link.

In the case of exrates exchange, there is something you can do. Exrates is owned by: DexTechnologies OÜ which is registered in Estonia and has the company number as: 14499374

Estonian law, rules, regulations and policies apply to them therefore report them to the Estonian authorities.

1) Firstly, report them for tax evasion because they have filed micro accounts for their previous tax returns yet they claim to trade over $1 billion every day. For a company that claims to trade over $365 billion a year they have not paid any tax so when the Estonian authorities hear that they did not receive potential tens of millions of USD$ I am sure they will take a look fast:

2) Second, report them to the Estonian authorities for what they did to you by scamming your crypto. Give them as much detail as possible: cybercrime@politsei.ee

That should hopefully shut down their trash fake exchange website.
7802  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: IOTA: Snake oil insecurity with a centralized kill switch to shut off your money on: February 20, 2020, 02:44:02 AM
Any crypto having a kill switch is rather far-fetched. Why did they have it in the first place? Any centralised project can have a lot of things their way or unconventional but when I read about the whole project going off-line for those two days or so it shows exactly why IOTA should and any other centralised crypto should be avoided unless they show exactly what cards they are holding.

Back in January 2018 this project had a market capital of over $14 billion but IOTA now has just $770 million market capital and it is dropping fast. Here is yet another of many mismanaged projects that had too much talk and not enough action and development therefore it fell from massive all time highs to a fraction of that.

7803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: February 20, 2020, 02:12:21 AM
I will go for Tyson Fury to knock out Deontay Wilder  Grin

Fury was hardly back in shape after a long stint out away from the sport and he won that match on a points decision but was robbed by pathetic scorecard politics. Everybody knows Fury won that fight.

This time with the correct period for training and that first bout under his belt I would say Wilder will be knocked out by rounds 4, 5 or 6 and not by TKO, I would not be surprised to see he on the floor out for the count.
7804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright: A Very Wrong Person on: February 19, 2020, 11:26:30 PM
He is a clown and nothing more. Keep it simple
I cannot argue with that

For me its gonna be good if we can prove his claim is totally void and this will save Bitcoin's reputation for those who really doesnt know the truth.
Careful with this line of thinking. The onus is not on us or anybody else to prove his claim is void. The burden of proof is on him to substantiate his claims, and to date he has presented exactly zero solid evidence that he is Satoshi. He can't even sign a message, which is the lowest amount of evidence needed to even begin to discuss his claims.

If I claim right now that I am Satoshi, then I will have made just as compelling an argument with just as much evidence as CSW has. We don't have to prove his claim is void because it is void until he proves otherwise.

If CSW wants to live in a fantasy world, let him.  That's his right and it doesn't matter if part of that fantasy is that he created bitcoin.
It does matter, though, when he commits identity theft and co-opts Satoshi's name and reputation to run a scam. It's obviously bad for the newbies who don't know any better and get ripped off, but it's also bad for bitcoin. It sullies our reputation, it presents a bad image to the wider public, it turns off honest users, traders, merchants, and it hinders growth and adoption. If he wants to live in a fantasy world, then be my guest, but when his delusions spill over and start affecting others, he needs to be shut down at every opportunity.
The onus is definitely on him to prove his claims but he cannot provide even one iota of evidence. That has been the regular pattern on his part all along.

As long as he keep destroying the reputation that Bitcoin has and keeps claiming to be Satoshi he continues down the road of deception. Bitcoin does not need him but he living off the Satoshi and Bitcoin name.

Does anybody know the real reasons why he split from BCH, Wu and Ver to start his own SV?

How on earth could users believe the things the OP is saying? Effectively they asking for control of your BTC to gamble. If the gamble pays off they will happily take their commission and if it fails and your funds become less in value than when they first gambled, you lose. Either way they win because they take 5% commission in advance and then hope for the best when gambling with your funds so they can take more from you.

It is not a ponzi scheme because that definition does not fit but it is a dangerous gamble when you allow an anonymous person to take control of your crypto funds and gamble using an alleged top-secret algorithm that nobody before this thread was created had ever heard of before and even still it has no name.

Ridiculous

Thanks, JollyGood for pointing to this. Archived this topic
they talk about big numbers and that seems tempting. What if we do not talk about 100BTC, why not 1000 BTC or million? then 2% seems pretty attractive.
evidence like graph image of balance history, or some numbers in Pastebin it's more fun than reality.

Bliq is not a ponzi scheme, we invest our customers bitcoins using a unique algorithm trades can be verified by the users directly in their own accounts.

this seems so risky to me, "you will invest someone's money". You can't lose anything, your "customer" can lose his money.

If you have win-win trading combination, why you need someone's money? Why don't invest your money and take all profit for yourself?

Yes unfortunately the thread never really took off, it seems to be buried under the others. You can go ahead and start the threads, I will respond to them  Wink

Regarding the water, I think Egypt and Ethiopia have resolved their differences but it will only be temporary - something will happen between them based around the dam, I am fairly sure of that but maybe beyond 2020. The interesting take about Tibet and the need for India to have access to parts of its water from that plateau is very interesting though.

And vegetarianism, well vegans are definitely the in thing at the moment but not sure if that means vegetarians are on their way out.

Are you now claiming to be a charity as well? You claim you want to prevent users from getting liquidated on Bitmex and want them to avoid losing all their Bitcoins in a pump and dump or ICO?

Are you saying you really care about users that much? I do not believe you.

And it makes no surprise to find you stating my reaction confuses you. As long as you remain anonymous and expect users to hand over their crypto for you to gamble you will probably continue to remain confused.

You are not trustworthy there all users are advised to avoid falling for your trap.

Feel free to use your top-secret 50% ROI making algorithm to make those massive returns for yourself instead of making them for others - that makes more sense right?
Why not do both? Why not allow people to profit from it? Why not prevent users from getting liquidated on Bitmex? Or lose all their bitcoins in P&D or other shit/altcoin ICO?

Your reaction confuses me, but your great points also lead to important answers that might interest future customers, Thanks!

I am waiting for the $0.50 mark to come soon. I hope it does not fall $0.50 after it breaches that amount.

After that milestone it has to be the $1 mark - let us see how things develop for XRP.

XRP Might Hit $0.50 Mark As Whale Moves Over $25 Million Worth Of XRP

The crypto market is performing exceptionally well with all the significant cryptocurrencies gaining within the past 24 hours. Ethereum has gained over 2.79%, XRP has managed to get a 3.55% boost, and at 7.5%, Tezos is also performing well. As for the Bitcoins, they are trading above $10,000 at the moment.

Walls of text have never impressed me, the art of deflection is an old tactic. I never claimed you control Deribit yet that is the first line of your objection?

Instead of you listing what you claim you have or what you claim to offer, let us look at this from a different perspective:

- You do not have a website
- You do not have Terms/Conditions
- You do not have a Privacy Policy
- You do not have a list of your advisers, investors, coders
- You hide behind anonymity, you have not listed your real name
- You have no LLC/LTD
- You do not have a legal structure in place that states in which jurisdiction users who want to sue can go ahead and do it

You are not trustworthy - simple

Your promotional material is somewhat laughable because of the spelling errors

Your Telegram is operated using a bot

Your alleged screenshots of trading cannot be trusted, any 5 year old with 1 week worth of play time with photoshop could probably drum up something better than what you claim to be facts.

The whole premise of your work is based on the notion that you have some secret algorithm that makes phenomenal amounts of money. No, I do not believe it but even if everything else you say about trading/gambling with crypto that belongs to other people is true, then what cannot be denied is that you do not and will not use your commission to help reimburse those users that lost vast sums of money as a result of your algorithm causing them mass losses.

Again, I re-iterate, you are not trustworthy. I do not believe your claims and I do not trust you directly because of your claims therefore I left appropriate negative trust and advised others to keep well away from allowing you to gamble with their funds.

Feel free to use your top-secret 50% ROI making algorithm to make those massive returns for yourself instead of making them for others - that makes more sense right? And since you make so much money anyway you should be happy that you do not need the 5% upfront management fee you charge too  Roll Eyes

Hi JollGood,

What part of the post seems to be a Scam to you, and how could we even scam people out of their hard earned bitcoins, as we never touch them and they always stay in Deribit (think Binance, Bitmex) user's account?
We do not control Deribit.
As for the website, it is not a priority yet as we deemed enough to advertise here and other social medias instead. Very few thread in the Marketplace > Service forum has any website.

Tell me, how should we prove our legitimacy as the below doesn't seem to be enough:
1- We provide trade history (800+) : https://pastebin.com/9KAsWRVH & https://imgur.com/a/QN8LvlU
2- We provide balance history : https://imgur.com/a/Yx6Lpaq
3- We never take custody of our customers' bitcoins
4- We provide a free month trial (So all can first assess of the suitability of the strategy before investing more important amounts of bitcoins)
5- We have an active telegram group with active and satisfied users : https://t.me/joinchat/GntMzksCVjB182IDe1wHyg
6- We have videos describing both how the bot works, and videos of it running on a customer account:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-jE5KZr_uA
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2as3ISqwtfU
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2U4FUTJQgk
7-
Hi!You refer 100BTC
After one month, 100BTC will become about 104BTC
out of the 4BTC profits, will charge 30% of it (1.2 BTC), out of which, 20% will be paid to the referrer (1.2*0.2 = 0.24)
Would that claim be as incredible if the example used by OP was 1BTC instead of 100BTC?

Please let me know whether that answers your concerns.
I'd be happy to hear how to make the post sounds more legitimate to you.

Thanks!
7812  Economy / Reputation / Re: JollyGood undeservedly post me red trust on: February 19, 2020, 02:00:07 PM
I had to unIGNORE the imbecile to read exactly what he was writing in this thread with my name in the title.... and yes, just as I thought he is a complete and utter imbecile still spouting the same rubbish.

When I left negative trust for him I was the first so it showed -1 but now I see he has -5 and he has nobody to blame but himself.

Was it worth it for this imbecile buying the copper membership only to get caught out and tagged so quickly? No

In response to the title, I deservedly gave you red trust and so did the other users.

I'm not the official part of Coinsbit.
Seems like the contrary being more plausible otherwise you would be describing yourself as an unofficial part of coinsbit

I use Coinsbit exchange for long time and very satisfied.
Whatever... but that comment alone deserves a red tag.

He think that Coinsbit scam.
Many people know that any exchange that shows inflated trading volumes and selectively scams users is  a scam (including anything that is owned or operated or controlled by Ukrainian scammer Valerii Solodovnyk)

So what, in his opinion - if I do not agree with him, then I need to put a red trust???
No that is not a compulsory action on my part but when I see shills I have to call them out - I am sure you understand.

This is madness!
If you say so but you can always pop over to the cryptotalk forum and join the other shills and losers, please feel free to leave the forum here even after you paid for your copper membership and sign up there without making any payment.

He behaves like a child who was given a felt-tip pen and he paints everything around.
I never had that accusation thrown at me before but thank you, I will add it to my resumé  Grin

I didn’t have an account on this forum before. I decided to create and name it in honor of the protection of my favorite exchange. I see nothing wrong with that.
Your user account does not contain the coinsbit, whitebit, p2pb2b or anything Ukrainian scammer Valerii Solodovnyk related but since you created this account in honour of the protection of your favourite exchange it needs to be pointed out you never posted in their official thread even once

But the fact that a crowd of baboons attacked me and gave me a negative reputation.
If you think this forum is full of baboons then jump ship and go over to the cryptotalk and post there, thank you.

You are very cruel on newcomers.
Not at all. Newcomers are very much welcomed here. We all were newcomers here at one time and we received help and guidance of senior members but shills and scammers (newbie or otherwise) have no place in this fantastic forum.

Moreover, it’s very disappointing that there are racists on the forum.
As mentioned earlier, feel free to abandon ship here and swim along to cryptotalk to join people that have the same mindset as yours. Thank you.

Thank you for your attention!
Why are you so desperate to get your message out here in the forum? If you plan is so good go and invest your own money in it and you can reap the 50% ROI benefits for yourself because of that unique top-secret algorithm that you claim you operate  Roll Eyes

Sooner or a later a scam accusation thread will be started listing the accusations  -I can see that coming for sure.

EDIT: after noticing there is no website, there is no information as to who bliq claim to be and they have no website, no information about anything except alleged screenshots of their work and highly suspicious activity here I have no alternative but to tag. Just because no scam has been highlighted yet does not mean a scam has not or will not take place and because I would never trust the OP (or his trash propositions or believe his alleged ROI) means that a tag is valid.

Hi!You refer 100BTC

Alarm bells ringing and warning lights flashing because of that statement - appropriate feedback left for the OP.

Everybody should avoid this project like the plague, it has scam written all over it.

I am not foo familiar with the issues and background politics but what several news media outlets and online chats show is that the current government was beaten in the election that took place days ago in Delhi and that was the first election of any standing that took place after the controversial law was introduced. If that is a sign of things to come then maybe they will not be too successful at the next general election and that is saying something considering the current Prime Minister and his party won by a landslide in the 2019 elections.

New CAB shows that ruling part clearly hates Muslims and wanted to build vote banks by saying Hindustan and Hindus.

Now NRC becomes more hot topic and it looks Indian government is going to take Census and verify their identity of each and every people sooner. What the funny fact is they don't accept Aadhar (national ID of every Indian) and Passport to prove that they are Indians. Roll Eyes
7817  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Quantam: How Long Before Computers Crack Private Keys on: February 18, 2020, 04:08:02 PM
When to adapt is a valid question because as you mentioned moving too late would mean Bitcoin holders are in trouble and moving early or without consensus will have its own problems. Eventually all forms of technology will adapt and an example is quantum computing. If Bitcoin adapts to become quantum resistant then no doubt other form of computing will emerge and then Bitcoin will adapt, the cycle will continue.

Maybe a couple of decades from now, in the end it might be a case of Bitcoin not having a way to protect itself and it simply becomes overpowered by the threats that emerge - who knows.

Bitcoin and altcoins need to adapt to any perceived threat before they can cause any harm therefore need to be prepared for any and every eventuality.

Yes, definitely. The question is when should bitcoin adapt, and that is a balancing act.

Move too late, and people won't have sufficient time to move their coins to quantum-safe addresses.

Move too early, and there will be chaos as a) there isn't a consensus on exactly what is the best quantum-safe cryptography to move to, and b) as QCs are still widely considered a future rather than current threat, the inevitable disagreements about whether or not to burn coins that don't move could erupt into civil war, or if not that then people would at least separate into opposing camps and begin to become entrenched in their opinions.

It's a difficult situation, but I am an amateur with only a superficial understanding of the various possibilities, and fortunately the people who have to make the decisions here are far smarter and more knowledgeable than I am. I may have little faith in politicians, but I have considerably more faith in bitcoin devs.
