7821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: February 18, 2020, 02:34:57 PM
I was stating something else

Can we get through a page of this thread without seeing posts from attention seekers promoting their own agenda?
Yes you can but it takes your time at the beginning.

Ignore users who don't want to see their past and coming posts in the DASH topic. You must do it manually and the forum can not help you to finish it automatically.
7822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]HoweyCoins: the only BitcoinTalk-endorsed ICO - GUARANTEED PROFIT on: February 18, 2020, 02:32:43 PM
Yes there will be an airdrop. From what we know it will be on a scale that has never been done before so please put your seatbelt on and buckle up because it will be one memorable rollercoaster !

Hi,
Are you planning to do airdrop?
7823  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: COINSBIT.IO SCAM EXCHANGE + PONZI SCHEME !!! on: February 18, 2020, 02:26:40 PM
Well, I would have responded to this comment earlier but I only noticed it when nutildah quoted it. I suppose because it was buried under walls of nonsense text that was why I never found it.

With all the millions Ukrainian scammer Valerii Solodovnyk has scammed with his p2pb2b coinsit whitebit and other trash exchanges - is this the best he can come up with? Using a sock-puppet that is different to all the others because it does not pump the dead p2pb2b and coinsbit threads but instead posts in other threads?

You are added to my IGNORE list, just as you deserve  Grin

No need to bring Jollygood threads. Firstly, no one takes this boy seriously, and secondly, he has some kind of unhealthy attitude to these projects.
As far as I know, he worked earlier in one of them and he did poorly his job for which he was fired (and insulted in his heart)

If you have any serious arguments, go ahead. So far, the above is not convincing and a healthy btt user will say that the boys from DT again fill themselves with merit.
7824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright: A Very Wrong Person on: February 18, 2020, 02:05:09 PM
Nothing is "Wright" with him (see what I did there? LOL)
That sounds just about right  Grin

~snip~
but i am sure that if you could find lawyers and they could assure you that such legal procedures could lead to successfully jail him or at the very least prevent him from continuing his scam then people would donate a lot of money to the cause.
You might be on to something very important there about donations being made towards a fund for lawyers but nothing he spouts will really be enough to get him jailed because he even though he falsely claims to be Satoshi it is hardly the biggest fraud in the world.

Haha, Satoshi Nakamoto is a banker. Sounds very credible for sure... and pastor Shocked. Pastor only for the Devil, preaching his scammy Altcoin.
How about i proclaim myself as a God and demand you stop breathing my air because I invented it, or I'll sue you.
Your pastor for the devil comment made me laugh out but what about the other comment he left under the banker statement, that is just as weird as anything else he has written: My opinions are my own  Grin

I think it would be great to finally send him to court to end all of this nonsense topic about this person.
We need to end his act as Satoshi Nakamoto so that the new one's in crypto wouldn't believe his words.
That would be an ideal scenario but is there both a consensus and a will between community members to take any sort of action which might put an end to Wright and his nonsense?

I think we should let him be in his "fantasy" land, people like Craig is a pathological liar so no matter what people do, he will won't back down or simply admit his lying.

For sure, majority really knows what personality Craig has and won't simply believed those exorbitant claims, like he is Satoshi. Maybe those beginners might, but they will soon realised their mistakes and move away from him.
I see no problem with him living his fantasy but it is just to protect newbies from the web of lies and deceit that a serial liar such as Wright might spin them that concerns me.

Faketoshi is the real Asshole on the crypto-currency industry. He have been trying to highlight himself by claim himself as satoshi nakamoto. And the fucker created a shitcoin called BSV, the most interesting JOKE is he claim it real bitcoin. I never believe any of his claim nor I follow him. For get popularity he made fork of BCH instead of create new coin. Better just ignore this liar, he deserve punishment actually. But who care since it's not very easy.
He and his one time friend Ver were involved in setting up BCH with Wu but then went their own ways leaving Ver/Wu with BCH and creating SV with involvement from Calvin Ayre. So does that set a precedent for whenever Wright does not like something he will keep jumping ship and keep forking and keep creating another real Bitcoin just he stated with BCH then SV?

How many years has he been insisting on this fairy tale that he Is satoshi nakamoto? Answer: he has been in this for many years. If he has been in this fairy tale for many years and until today he has never been able to prove anything he says and was still able to separate the community with his poison, it is clear that he is a very mentally disturbed person and in my opinion the only way to end his fantasy world Is if everyone ignores him
You are probably right about him being a mentally disturbed person but would ignoring him actually have any impact on him ending his fantasy? I doubt it because he is too far gone and living in his own little bubble where he knows he is lying but is trying to ride the wave of deception for as long as possible. Maybe the real Satoshi (whoever that is) has been giggling away at that since the first allegation was made years ago.

Yeah, I'm not sure he could be compelled by a court of law to prove that he has a pseudonym.  I would think if the government was interested in that, it would be the IRS and they probably would be looking into it.  I don't think it's worth any sort of fundraising effort, plus I think it goes against the privacy that bitcoin stands for.  If CSW wants to live in a fantasy world, let him.  That's his right and it doesn't matter if part of that fantasy is that he created bitcoin.

I don't know much about the man, to be honest.  He's not really a lawyer, is he?
Well this taken from his website, he claims to be:

Creator of Bitcoin – Satoshi Nakamoto.
Eternal student & researcher. nChain Chief Scientist. Lawyer, banker, economist, pastor, coder, investor, mathematician, stats & world curious.

He also adds an interesting comment immediately after it though: My opinions are my own

He claims to be many things but maybe an observation would conclude he is the antithesis of whatever he claims
7825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Craig Wright: A Very Wrong Person on: February 18, 2020, 02:05:43 AM
The man is delusional. The things he put on his website are laughable: https://craigwright.net/

Creator of Bitcoin – Satoshi Nakamoto.
Eternal student & researcher. nChain Chief Scientist. Lawyer, banker, economist, pastor, coder, investor, mathematician, stats & world curious.
My opinions are my own.

Do you think it might be worth starting a fundraising round with a view to take him to Court to prove he is Satoshi or he should withdraw that statement Creator of Bitcoin – Satoshi Nakamoto as stated on his website?

Or do you think we should all just let him be so he can live in his own fantasy world and be happy/deluded at the same time?
7826  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: COINSBIT.IO SCAM EXCHANGE + PONZI SCHEME !!! on: February 18, 2020, 01:06:18 AM

You do know you will not get a reply right? No bonafide source or reference will be provided.

As far as you know, huh. Please cite your sources and/or references because this claim sounds like a steeming pile of dogshit to me.
7827  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: Citizenship Amendment Bill and NRC - Good or bad for India? on: February 18, 2020, 12:43:58 AM
From what I have read and seen regarding this subject, it is a highly contentious issue in India. So many people of all ages and religions are demonstrating in many cities against this bill by protesting peacefully by arranging sit ins.

I'm sure, this topic needs no further explanation as it is a hot topic right now everywhere! Even though it is not related to cryptos but I am sure want to know what people are thinking. I am listening to different opinions from different people about it - some are saying it will disturb the normal course of life in India and some people are saying it will be great for the future of India.

Please speak out your thoughts on it! Whatever your take on it, don't miss the reason!
7828  Other / Meta / Re: How to do private giveaways on: February 17, 2020, 10:20:37 PM
This will be an excellent feature for those that might need another way to drum up publicity for their name/brand.

I'm not sure that anyone will ask to set up this sort of giveaway, but I wanted to mention the possibility. If more than a few people ask me to set these up, I'll probably make it so that anyone can set them up themselves.
7829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: English Premier League Season: 2019/2020 on: February 17, 2020, 09:57:29 PM
RESULT: Chelsea 0-2 Manchester United

Here is the EPL table as it currently stands If Manchester City fail in their appeal against the two year European competition ban then whoever finishes 5th will replace them for the 4th European Champions League spot. The Europa league spots will start on 6th position:

7830  Other / Meta / Re: No threats to inflict bodily harm, death threats. on: February 17, 2020, 08:59:12 PM
Going a step further it might have been better for the OP to simply ask for complete clarification in the same thread the alleged threat was made in or just to send a PM asking for an explanation. Starting a thread without taking one of those steps seems somewhat inappropriate and unnecessary in my opinion.

There might be more to this than meets the eye and it might be stemming from the time the OP was (according to some) seen to be keen to want to participate in the BestChange campaign whereas others including myself were highly cautious. I cannot say for certain if comments made around that time are still dragging on but it just might be the reason behind what it going on now: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5217470.0

I also think YOSHIE did not threaten the OP but what is important is to factor in how the OP felt reading the post and also how if a threat was made it probably would have been more explicit rather than innuendo.

I do not think that YOSHIE threatened you with anything.
I don't think so either, just based on the wording of that post.  Honestly, I have no idea how to interpret that--but if that was a reply to my question, I wouldn't take it as any sort of threat.  I might be puzzled as to what he meant and might even ask for clarification, but I wouldn't see it as mean-spirited and certainly wouldn't report it.

But that's just me.  Since it's such an odd response and is open to whatever interpretation you give it, I can see how it might be perceived as malicious.  The language barrier on this forum doesn't help matters either.

probably just bad English.
That's what I was thinking.  If he really wanted to be threatening, I'm sure he could make it clearer.
7831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: English Premier League Season: 2019/2020 on: February 17, 2020, 08:34:14 PM
Both teams are giving the ball away too easily. Hopefully things will improve and the game will get better.

Just watching right now, 0-0 but only 14 minutes played. Man Utd possibly playing the better at the moment.
7832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: English Premier League Season: 2019/2020 on: February 17, 2020, 08:07:32 PM
Just one EPL game this evening

Chelsea vs Manchester United (8pm kick-off)
7833  Other / Meta / Re: No threats to inflict bodily harm, death threats. on: February 17, 2020, 08:05:56 PM
I am glad to see the accusation withdrawn, there is nothing of substance to add further except I hope the matter ends here.
7834  Other / Meta / Re: wrongly assigned thread on: February 17, 2020, 07:55:08 PM
Well I would like to expand on this post.

If the OP can loan me a test amount of 0.01 BTC then add it to the trading bots only to receive the original 0.1 BTC for himself and to send me the stipulated 50% ROI - then maybe I or others could consider vouching for it or simply taking at face value the claims of ROI being made.

How about this for a test; you invest your own money on my behalf, say 0.1BTC.  Once "my" investment reaches an ROI 48.7% you can send me my proceeds, minus any fees or commissions you want to charge, and of course, minus the original 0.1BTC you "loaned" to me.  If you are so confident about your bot's ability to be profitable, then neither of us are risking anything.  You get to prove me wrong, and prove to the world that your bot is legit.

Deal?

Oh, one last question; does this bot work by using API's that are as secure as bitcoin private keys?

Last time I clicked the faucet link it did not open, not sure why but anyhow congratulations.

Keep the good news rolling  Wink

FreeBitcoins.com Bitsler faucet is now operational, huge thank you to the Bitsler team that was super responsive & wonderful.

We have a general public faucet (anyone can use with no restrictions), an affiliate faucet (for new players that register under our link) and an affiliate VIP faucet (for our affiliates with wagered amounts.)

7836  Other / Meta / Re: wrongly assigned thread on: February 17, 2020, 03:41:32 PM
I checked the thread, the returns being promised are a joke. I might make a scam accusation thread later this evening unless somebody beats me to it.

Even if it is not a scam as in a send-your-crypto-to-me-and-I-will-steal-it manner but instead promises 50% ROI - then it is a scam.
7837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: February 17, 2020, 08:50:26 AM
There are no signs that ETH will be heading towards the all time high of around $1500 any time soon. There is movement in the market but not enough to show that level of support just yet.

Up we go as bitcoin never fails to amaze us so far this year. Last year ETH only manage to rise $300+ but I believe it will break to at least $500 this year.
$500 will be much lower than the All time high of Ethereum, at which so many investors bought the coin, has not exited and still stucked at this price. Will the 2.0 upgrade of Ethereum be released this year and help to bring the price of ETH taking off to $1000 at least?

I did not buy at the all time high so honestly $500 is more than double the current price and is a very profitable price to take profit for me.
7838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: English Premier League Season: 2019/2020 on: February 16, 2020, 07:27:31 PM
RESULT: Arsenal 4-0 Newcastle

That game between Aston Villa and Tottenham could have gone either way but Tottenham got the win. Arsenal might be on an upward trend now but there is a long time to go before the end of the season.

It was bold backing Aston Villa to come out with the victory, but they performed very well and made a good account for themselves, who have gotten a point at least from the match, but mistakes are very easily punished and that's what happened.
Arsenal face Newcastle and ironically, both teams are level on number of points after equal number of games played. Hopefully, they can put the home struggles they experienced under Emery further behind them and put up a good performance in front of their home crowd.
7839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: English Premier League Season: 2019/2020 on: February 16, 2020, 03:57:51 PM

7840  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Bravenge Project, Fake Members on: February 16, 2020, 03:02:11 PM
The production line of these scammers goes on and on, looks like it will not slow down so we need to keep highlighting and exposing as many of these scams and scammers as we can.

The reason scammers keep doing it is because even if they manage to get one victim to part with their crypto it will allow the scammers to recoup the money they spent on the hosting and creation of their tatty website.
