7821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Running latest core but node doesn't show up on node check on: January 08, 2016, 05:23:27 PM
In order to accept incoming connections you need to configure your firewalls to allow connections to port 8333. You are still running a full node and contributing, just not as much as you could if you accept incoming connections.
7822  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: About earning BTC, mBTC on: January 08, 2016, 04:16:34 PM
Bitcoin is money, you can get it by doing anything that also gets you any fiat money. This includes selling stuff and doing work.
7823  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: January 08, 2016, 04:14:38 PM

7824  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Bitonic has sold over 200 000 bitcoins. Today Puzzle part II! on: January 08, 2016, 03:21:36 PM

bitonic.nl is establishment of Netherlands.the posters name in reddit is BitcoinNL look at picture.

like Jantsen said
Like Yesterday,even this contest was won by an address which doesn't have any past transaction history.Shady.
https://blockchain.info/address/1JhZWqKYQ2cxWhb4WJMKipA5LmxszpUrfP

winner adress of first puzzle had no transaction history like this.

so S.U.P ? are we working for nothing ? :S

What really adds on to it is,I believe the contest is advertised on this forum and unfortunately nobody from the forum is solving the puzzle but somebody else.@OP is it like the puzzle is advertised elsewhere from this forum that we're unaware of ?
It is also on reddit and their website
7825  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: January 08, 2016, 01:30:03 PM
I'm rebooting the server so any previous tokens will no longer work.
7826  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: January 08, 2016, 03:14:49 AM
There is a new update to the project!!

I have released a new version on Github and also live on the website. This new version has improvements to the queue system so it doesn't fail as it used to.

There is now a tokening system for the queue. When you submit a lookup request you will receive a token. You can then leave the page and browse as you wish. You can return later and enter the token to see your results. The only caveat is that results are kept for only 24 hours after the request was submitted.
7827  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: January 08, 2016, 01:06:12 AM
It's a joke to me. Quality has absolutely nothing to do with quantity in these means. A post can be great and 5 words long.

--snip--

No it's not. Remove that from the bot. I'm not in a signature campaign and never been. My post quality is completely average and normal, not poor.
Yes I know quantity is a poor judge of quality, but it is the best way to judge it objectively and in a bot. Otherwise it would be too complex.

I will not remove this as people have requested that it be there. It is also an important part of account sales, the buyer wants to know whether the account has good posting quality and whether it is worth paying more for it or not. While imperfect, it gives a general idea of how good a poster you are. If you answer with only a few words for a majority of your posts, then it probably isn't a good sign that you are a good poster.
7828  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: January 08, 2016, 12:51:13 AM
Is this a joke? Accounts shouldn't be sold. I'm completely against it for too many reasons.
No, it is not a joke. Accounts are sold here, deal with it.

Explain this shit to me -_-

Post Quality: Poor
Means exactly that. My bot looked at your post history and found that more than 50% of your posts had less than 75 characters in non-quoted text. This is what is considered poor quality. The whole thing is spelled out in the OP, which you clearly didn't read.

This is a cool tool.  One time I did not have to wait at all and another I had 26 in que ahead of me.  How is quality of posts determined?
I'm working on the queue thing right now.

Post quality is determined by the ratio of the number posts with more than 75 characters in non-quoted text and the number of posts with less than 75 characters in non-quoted text. You can read the whole algorithm which explains things pretty clearly in the OP.
7829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Desperate Help Required on: January 08, 2016, 12:46:54 AM
I'm hoping that the balance of my wallet will correct itself once I've unfortunately had to download the entire blockchain again.

This is a farce having to do this again though just because core didn't shut down properly.
It isn't downloading the whole blockchain again, it is putting everything it has already downloaded into databases so it can find where everything is. Shutting it down improperly screws up this database because it doesn't close properly. Part of it has to do with LevelDB being stupid about not closing properly.
7830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Desperate Help Required on: January 08, 2016, 12:16:38 AM
Ok this is a good sign right?

I just clicked receiving addresses (balance is still 0)

But the 1 receiving address I give a shit about is stored -

So when it's all synced balances should be restored to what they were?

I hope

The address I'm anxious not to lose - https://blockchain.info/address/1ehxS6fvLjYEr12D7Kj4Us6HxYyXpixmX
Yes, all of the Bitcoin stored in that wallet should be absolutely fine and you will see the balance once it is restored. However, because you have restored it from a backup, you may not have all of the addresses that you used in the past. If you used less than 100 addresses since you backed up your wallet, then you should be fine. If you did though, then you should restore the original wallet that you backed up when you restored this backup. Otherwise you will be losing Bitcoin. Currently, if you request another address, you should get the same one you had previously.
7831  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: January 08, 2016, 12:11:54 AM
I tested this tool in the past and it was nice. I recently remembered this after checking my bitcointalk bookmarks and tried it again only to see that my inquiry is 18 in the queue.
I test it now (2 days later) with different account id and I am still 18th in the queue this time. Is it stuck? It doesn't seem to move at all.
That will be fixed very soon. I am about to release a new version with tokens and a better queuing system that doesn't break like the current one does.
7832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Desperate Help Required on: January 07, 2016, 11:29:32 PM
There is nothing wrong. What happened was that you closed Bitcoin Core without allow it to go through its closing procedures. This corrupted the database the keeps track of the blockchain. This will always happen with an unclean shutdown. All of the blocks that you downloaded are still on the disk, all of your Bitcoin is still safe. All it is doing is indexing the blocks back into its database which will take a long time depending on your CPU and hard drive. You don't have to do anything, just let it do its thing and don't close the program. Once it is finished, the bar will go away and it will be fully synced and tt should should show your balance properly, if it doesn't then you have a problem.
7833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Get transactions from bitcoin core or bitcoind on: January 07, 2016, 03:49:35 AM
Well, the macro workaround is not valid for me.

I just downloaded a library for delphi (indy) which have a httpclient. I set the values like this:

  lParamList.Add('method=getnewaddress');
  lParamList.Add('params=[0]');
  lParamList.Add('id=test');

  PostExample := lHTTP.Post('http://myuser:mypassword@localhost:8332/', lparamlist);

And i got this:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/1999/REC-html401-19991224/loose.dtd">
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE>Error</TITLE>
<META HTTP-EQUIV='Content-Type' CONTENT='text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1'>
</HEAD>
<BODY><H1>401 Unauthorized.</H1></BODY>
</HTML>

User and password are exactly like in the bitcoin.conf file. I feel im very close

Do you have rpcallowip in bitcoin.conf to allow your ip address (including 127.0.0.1)?
7834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Get transactions from bitcoin core or bitcoind on: January 06, 2016, 11:28:28 PM
Yes, I have the bitcoin.conf with those values. I did not received an specific error; i said i was unable since i do not know how i could connect my program to a rcp port in delphi. I searched the web for many days and i dont found nothing about it: yes, i deeply searched and nothing! I have good experience with TCP/IP connections (i designed a server-client program some years ago) but i never worked with RCP before.
It just uses HTTP Post requests to port 8333 and uses JSON formatted results.

What about the main question? Is possible to export the .csv files from the bitcoind?
No, however you could also automate what you are doing manually with a macro. Just get some macro program and you can use that to automatically do everything you do by hand since it just records and executes mouse moves, clicks, and keyboard typing.
7835  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Suggestion: Button that check/uncheck "send this transaction anonymously" on: January 06, 2016, 11:08:54 PM
If you want 'anonymity', you have to use Tor like everyone else.
Tor does not help with this. He is talking about anonymity regarding the addresses. Right now, it is possible to trace addresses and link them together to follow the transaction chain. What he wants is to have something that breaks this chain so that it becomes very very difficult to actually follow and know that you are following the same person's transactions.
7836  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: beginners be very carefull on: January 06, 2016, 08:46:25 PM
oke, thenks thanks.., so when i go into that wallet and choose IMPORT/EXPORT....

then I can see my private key?

And when i see my private key, that is the moment that I alone must see this?
in other words: dangerous, secret and so on?
Yes. It can be dangerous if there are Bitcoin's associated with that private key. Exposing your private key makes it possible for people to steal it which can lead to them stealing your Bitcoin. If you have no reason to look up your private key, then don't do it.
7837  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: January 06, 2016, 08:43:39 PM
I can wait all day but never got results. Why? I used android phone and pc but nothing..
There are problems with the queuing system that I can't fix. Just wait until it is after midnight eastern time to try again. The server restarts itself and this clears the queue. Hopefully this problem will be fixed when I finish making it work with tokens.

service problem. Contact blockchain.info's customer support.
7839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Get transactions from bitcoin core or bitcoind on: January 06, 2016, 08:38:23 PM
You can use the command line and RPC commands getaddressesbyaccount and listtransactions to get the addresses and transactions respectively.

I know it can be done, but i dont have idea how  Huh Using testnet? I try connecting to the daemon with json-rpc but i was unable.
There are not a shortcut to generate the .csv files from the commandline?
I have the feeling that the solutions is very easy but im missing something.
What was the error that it gave you? Do you have daemon=1, rpcuser, and rpcpassword set in the bitcoin.conf file? If you don't you will need that to allow Bitcoin Core to run the daemon stuff.
7840  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: beginners be very carefull on: January 06, 2016, 08:36:46 PM
whow

here i got a code, that is called "identification"
and it has 8 characters and/or digits and then a division mark (like this: "-")
then 4 characters and/or digits and then a division mark (like this: "-")
then 4 characters and/or digits and then a division mark (like this: "-")
then 4 characters and/or digits and then a division mark (like this: "-")
then 12 characters and/or digits

is this the private key or public key?

by the way, I'm using the blockchain.info wallet, I think
Neither, that is the blockchain.info wallet identifier. You need to go into that wallet and go to the Import/Export tab to be able to see and export the private keys.
