His abandoned Melon coin project is a piece of shit too. He doesn't have a great track record.

Agora trade is also going to be a train-wreck.

Have you tried crying about it?

I'm seriously considering investing in this coin now. You've done a better job promoting it than the team. Congratulations.
7822  Other / Meta / Re: Why am i banned ?! on: March 30, 2019, 11:36:35 AM
You had a hell of a run after being banned:

Alright, agree on my ban completly. I regter that i did spam pm. Sorry admins, mods. Finding my ban completly righteous. Going out of this forum as i have no other option

You managed to write 146 posts after this date!

Forum rules is just like a North Korea ...... to a simple new users that wanna talk on crypto tematic

I don't think your history demonstrates that's what you're here to do. Plus, your email address can be found on carding forums -- the less people like you here, the better.

A few more pics from today :

Really nice pics. Without trying to seem racist or nationalist in any way, its always been intriguing to me how some countries absolutely have their shit together, and some do not. For example, Singapore is wedged between Malaysia and Indonesia... Philippines does not have its shit together, but then Japan does... Weird how that works.

I'd like to go back to Singapore, maybe when I get mine own shit together.

Probably they Will not be there when you are poor, but still I also tip Some peeps over there especially when I don’t feel ripped of
Like a cab driver try to overprice me Then i’m a little harder....
Another cab driver Some road much less of the price (still only scratch when compare to EU standards) Then I sometimes tip them big time or people giving other services......
What I do hate is cause your tourist they try to charge you for anything everywhere, philippines speciality was entrance fee @every corner Roll Eyes

Yeah its pretty annoying, I feel you. My only solution is going to less touristy areas... Locals aren't used to trying to over-price people there, and honest people will be honest anywhere you go... But then in local-only areas everybody looks at you everywhere you go... and the beaches aren't as sandy or blue. Its definitely a trade-off of sorts.

One of those cottages on the water goes for about $30/day, according to their price list... but then they see me coming and the price goes up to $80 (!?) ...  Roll Eyes
Yes, it the way it is. You can not do much about it. They want to suck it all LOL

Yep, we've all heard the phrase "a fool and his money are soon parted"... there's certain parts of the world where that works on hyperspeed. I usually have my girlfriend do the talking and negotiating, and I stay out of the picture. She gets mad when I tip a cab driver like an extra $0.40... She says, don't help them, because they won't be there to help you when you are poor.

BTC rocket cancelled, putting the dildo back in the pocket... Bull Market Warning still remains in effect.

The sight is beautiful.

Thanks, here's one more from down the beach. You can see how the locals do it.

Good good morning btw have a good saturday, do something fun

I took your advice ahead of time and headed out to one of Mindanao's beaches, for the first time in a month.

Its a really nice day out but unfortunately the water was brown AF and I felt like I might get some kind of bacterial infection just from looking at it...

Nice green dildo for BTC... 4+% in 24 hours, thats the most I've seen it climb for quite some time. Things are looking good.  😎

@nutildah

Fractional Reserve has always been the point of LN,

According to your weird, unsubstantiated opinion, and possibly franky's, but nobody else.

If you are afraid this topic was made to destroy LN, let me quell your fears, it is already too late for that.
LN (fractional reserve) will continue and evolve , while supplanting the majority of the crypto sphere, only a few coins will stand against it.

A few coins that nobody uses and have no actual real-world adoption. You're not destroying anything. If Lightning is being "destroyed", why does it reach new record levels of usership on a daily basis?

Just go on the record about it: what coin to you is the better coin that will eventually surpass bitcoin? Obviously you're trying to smear bitcoin, just trying to figure out why.
7831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tradesatoshi.com - * Faucet - Free Coins Every Hour * - CryptoCurrency Exchange on: March 30, 2019, 06:22:38 AM
For those just joining this thread:

Trade Satoshi has long been accused of stealing user funds and is now using a new mandatory KYC implementation to steal funds from long-time customers.

DO NOT DEPOSIT YOUR COINS HERE, THEY WILL LIKELY BE LOST FOR GOOD.

Please reference the following scam accusation threads for more information:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1997270.msg50198043#msg50198043
https://www.forexbrokerz.com/brokers/Tradesatoshi-Review

Also it appears the owner of the exchange is named Francesco Alibrandi:

https://www.linkedin.com/company/tradesatoshi
https://suite.endole.co.uk/insight/people/20279371-mr-francesco-alibrandi?page=companies

Apparently the company was dissolved in July 2018.
They are no longer an incorporated business and have no license.

Here are his personal details submitted for the UK incorporation of Trade Satoshi:

https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/officers/0AFQGshE1pkyhddlgkxUiMPxSLo/appointments

In short, the exchange has legal obligation to honor their terms to anybody, and short of suing Alibrandi for theft there is no way to get your money back from Trade Satoshi.

Also one of the LN dev proposals even admits it can be a fractional reserve.
https://www.rene-pickhardt.de/index.html%3Fp=2131.html

I suggest to add another feature to the lightning network which I call a virtual payment channel (or in short VPC) to be described in this article.
Such a virtual payment channel will NOT be backed by the blockchain and thus cannot operate in a trustless manner
Quote
The main one is that to some degree VPCs resembles the fractional reserve banking system

Most clueless LN fanatics like to say LN is still in beta,
well by the time they finally do claim to be out of beta,
it will be a fully functional undeniable fractional reserve system, ie crypo banking 2.0
which has been the intention since day one.

Because if you truly look at LN , it becomes apparent it will not fix the scaling issues,
unless LN Banks form and do the majority of the offchain transactions, and banks always create a fractional reserve scam.

You're quoting a draft from July 2018 for a proposal that never came to be. Seems like the whole point of your thread is simply to FUD Lightning. Nobody has any plans to create these Virtual Payment Channels. You didn't even quote the entirety of the quote:

Quote
While writing down the article I realized there are also some dangers to virtual payment channels. The main one is that to some degree VPCs resembles the fractional reserve banking system even though it is still only credit based on positive money (I think the English language should borrow the German word “Vollgeld-System“). At first I considered dropping the article because the last thing that we need is a cryptocurrency crises similar to the banking crisis that we have been through. However I think when regulated and used properly VPCs will add more benefit than danger to the lightning network. Despite the drawbacks with this article I will still propose this feature.

It was a proposal. Nothing ever came of it. To equate that with there currently being fractional reserve banking in Lightning is low-level deception. What is the point of all this "but what if" conjecturing? What if a critical bug is discovered in the Bitcoin Core code tomorrow? What if the earth gets smashed by a comet? These are also both real concerns we need to be worrying about  Roll Eyes

"However, during an InfoWars broadcast Monday, Jones argued that Jeremy Richman, a Sandy Hook father who died by apparent suicide and had been a plaintiff in a defamation suit against Jones, had potentially been murdered to further build a case against Jones."

Wow, what a POS. Let me guess, his psychosis was caused by chemtrails...

He really found a way to tap in to the anger of white, young, impressionable (and my guess is largely uneducated) Americans, and has probably done more damage than any other media "personality" in the past 10 years. I'm all for freedom of speech but I'm also for him being tarred and feathered and run out of town.

7835  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SYNKCOIN-PLAGIARIZED WHITEPAPER on: March 29, 2019, 06:47:32 PM
Man, these scammers are so unoriginal. Its pretty damn hard for any type of ICO to get funding these days, even harder for those who just copy/paste a failed idea. I wonder if they simply get paid to churn out scams.
7836  Other / Meta / Re: Grant Me Legendary Status on: March 29, 2019, 04:17:24 PM
Here's a famous example:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=126291

1000 merits and 13 activity, lol.

That guy probably tried to hide his activity by deleting them by himself, he has also edited his posts. A scammer or ICO promoter? What is interesting is his wall:

Interestingly, he was a real conspiracy nutter and Alex Jones fanboy. He thought the CIA or FBI would use his comments to arrest him, and that he was already being monitored (not that he was that interesting, just incredibly grouchy all the time), so he deleted his post history, as much as he could. He also had a picture of what appeared to be a small pile of crystal meth shards as his avatar, so, yeah...

I don't trade an I don't plan to do it in the future, and I don't think my words would have more weight or my opinion would count more if I rank up. And if I'm wrong and it does....then the whole forum is f*** up!!!

It does... and it is... yet I still find the system provides some value, some of the time.
7837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: March 29, 2019, 03:44:15 PM
BCC is an excellent coin that tests the ability to works in harsh conditions. Could the blockchain work if it was banned and abandoned? If it can, then it's fine, such a coin has the best decentralization. judging by the blocks explorer BCC still works
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bcc/

garbage always turns to stone, all mountains are dumps of former civilizations. But another question: why buy BCC if works Aion, sib and bcn, which also fell by 99%?

Proof positive that every second on this [flat] Earth a person loses their fuckin mind.

He's a Bitcoin Cash fanboy. I wouldn't expect any less.

Plus he weirdly edited his comment to turn it from subtle garbage into hot garbage. No worry, it will soon be turned to stone.

68$ per day,  that is lot of money to pay to staff.
Much staff everywhere

You're forgetting a few things:

1. Your exchange probably has a staff of 2. There are multiple accounts here belonging to 1 or 2 people maximum.
2. Your exchange traditionally raked in the majority of its profits from hefty withdrawal fees.
3. With your new KYC stunt, conveniently keeping user balances who didn't have to supply you with ID info before and don't want to now (and for good reason) you have a newfound source of income. Keeping user balances from those who _did_ upload their documents because you determined it didn't match the information they provided when they signed up is even more "free money" for you...

How much money do you want to stop the scam?
I want my reputation back

You can post a topic in the Scam Accusation or Reputation section if you want, state your case, and ask the community to intervene on your behalf. Or you could just start up another account, write 21 posts with it, and you'll be back to exactly where you are now, minus the red trust.
7839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano on: March 29, 2019, 12:47:47 PM
All these comments are talking about what a great coin it is... But why is it great? Why should people use it when there's literally hundreds of other worthy competitors to choose from?

Cardano reached new highs in this year. Read more in this technical analysis article:

https://coincodex.com/article/3325/cardano-price-analysis-ada-reaches-new-2019-high/

So did most coins. At _almost_ 7 cents its still far below the 50 cents I bought it at and 38 cents I sold it at. Let's perform our checkup on their blockchain to see if there's any more adoption, shall we?

https://cardanoexplorer.com/

Well I'll be damned, its up to about 3 transactions per minute, which is almost a sixth of Dogecoin. Good going guys.

***ATTENTION***

Con man alert!

This guy will sell bCash scam shitcoin to you saying that that is Bitcoin.

Still calling it Bitcoin Core I see... Jesus H. Ver... the man has no shame.

For "fun" I read a news story about what I thought was bitcoin at news.bitcoin.com... They ALWAYS put BCH in front of BTC, whether they are just casually mentioning it in a news article, showing the prices in their ticker, or on their "buy" page... the default option is... you guessed it! BCH!

Its not called BitcoinCash.com FFS.

Meanwhile the average BCH block size is 70k! Not 700k. Not 7,000k. 70! Nobody is using his shitcoin, ergo who gives a shit how big its blocks are. What bcash and sv freaks just don't get is that nobody wants to use a coin piloted by a charlatan.
