7821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's happening to bitcoin ? on: November 05, 2016, 03:31:54 AM
Cloud mining are already a fraud investment from a long time ago, but the users just realize after he is already running for some years ago, I just think about ROI in the cloud mining site that's just like bullshit, totally a lot of people are just got long for reaching their ROI and totally this just working for payback his capital.
And the doubt of the massive users of the cloudmining site appears at they are not able for paying their users.

Too risky give your amount into the other's hand in this day.
7822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reports of China Banning Bitcoin Are Greatly Exaggerated on: November 05, 2016, 12:51:16 AM
On November 3 the Bitcoin price took a dive from a high of US$745 to a low of $675 with news of China circling the internet. A so-called report from the publication Bloomberg had other media outlets assume that China was planning on curbing Bitcoin use in the near future. However, the reports have remained unconfirmed, and many believe the headline was fictitious.

https://news.bitcoin.com/reports-china-bitcoin-exaggerated/
Nope, but I just caught it about the rumors yesterday, Somehow the people are overly given any feedback for that news.
7823  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which btc service with card withdrawal option to choose? on: November 05, 2016, 12:26:27 AM
Hi everyone! I’m a newbie here and need your help. I’m from Europe and I’m looking for a reliable bitcoin service with a convenient card withdrawal option. I’ve read a lot of reviews and made my own little research of services’ popularity by the Traffic Overview
Engagement. So here’s a list of the today (4 Nov. 2016) most popular services, which offer card solutions for Europe :
1. Xapo (1.80M)
2. Cryptopay (296.60K)
3. Spectrocoin (203.90K)
4. Coinsbank - former btc-x (168.20K)
5. Wirex - former e-coin (147.10K)
Xapo seems to be really popular, but maybe it’s because of the business solution option. Which one will you suggest and why. Looking forward to your advices.

The xapo's performance are decreased, looks a lot of their users are get restricted by him. -1

Cryptopay, even if need a verification but i ever heard some great experienced with them. +1

Spectro -1 Avoid them, like above me said.

Coinsbank I guess this also one of the reliable place. +1

Wirex, i don't ever having any things or exp about them.
7824  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin.com vs Bitcoin.org? on: November 05, 2016, 12:02:35 AM
Bitcoin.com was started by Roger Ver, when Bitcoin XT failed and people were accusing Bitcoin.org of censorship. Theymos made it clear that Bitcoin XT were seen as a Alt coin and a direct competitor to Bitcoin. Why would you allow people to promote a competitor product on your platform?

Just imagine if say, Mercedes-Benz created a forum for their users to discuss Mercedes-Benz and then supporters of Ford came onto the site to promote Ford. Would you allow that? So a group of the Gavin supporters fell for the censorship excuses and they joined up with Bitcoin.com.

Now Roger Ver is using that platform to promote his gambling and mining schemes and such, and a small percentage of users are still using the site. So now that Bitcoin XT failed, Roger Ver jumped onto the next implementation, called Bitcoin Unlimited, which is also a direct competitor of Bitcoin Core. < Anyone seeing the pattern here? >

If you cannot take Bitcoin Core, then you have to settle for the competitor to grab a percentage of the market.

So if the site is advertising ponzi schemes is a scam, right?

I always used the dot org site, don't knew it have a dot com, thanks for all the info.
I don't think so, mostly the ads are fully auto-generated and i don't think someone are installing the ads for manually in their site.
It's not true but if you're finding about the documentary or some article for the sites are related or supporting about the scam advertisement and you need feeling suspicious with that.
7825  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes in trading that lead to loss of money on: November 04, 2016, 06:34:16 AM
If you buy all in and then the price keeps dropping, you will lose a lot of money. I buy in stages so I'm not all in at one time. Same idea for selling because if the price keeps rising, you want to be able to keep selling.

Another mistake is panic buying and panic selling. It's better to set up sell orders and buy orders based on a plan rather than just selling and buying on emotion.
Are can't for mixing your doubled post into the one kind of post, this seems like just a spam. and will be the good essay for me.
7826  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Multiply my btc on: November 04, 2016, 06:15:05 AM
Avoid cloud mining sites, as when i was newbie i was scammed with them, turns out most of mining sites are very tricky, so whatever you will decide, be careful before invensting
Other than cloud mining, the list to avoid when we are considering to multiply our bitcoins is really very big. But, I'm afraid we are having very little options to multiply our bitcoins.

Honestly I'm not trying to multiply my bitcoins after experienced many scams attempts. I just earn bitcoin and save them. My bitcoins are not working for me to grow themselves.

The fact is there is no way to multiply bitcoins if we are depending on others to let that happen as majority of them would be scammers and will disappear in future so the only way I can see to multiply them is through trading, it may bring loss for you but you will surely not get scammed in it.
better to withdraw the coins or Bitcoins you are not trading.
I guess this is will be useful for everyone, make your own schedule and you can be starting for write about the date of send back your amount on your offline wallet. I try this and really give me more guarantee for the security of my amount.

7828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where can we keep track of block halvings? on: November 04, 2016, 02:27:12 AM
Is there a point that it will become to unprofitable to mine in order to actually get any value of Bitcoins so no more Bitcoins will be coming out?
Mining after many halving or even when all bitcoin get mined can still remain profitable due to high fees associated with every bitcoin transaction as well as by that time price per bitcoin may be thousands of dollar so even few satoshi fee may count like 100$ or more.

Correct, the price gets suitable with the distribution, the basic things on the economic. in this time block at 12.5 and the price are $700 and the upcoming block the bitcoin will towards 6.25 caused by halving, the price will eventually equal with the previous block doubled price.
7829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach people to download software wallets? on: November 04, 2016, 02:09:13 AM

How to avoid seeing this phenomena? it's like no matter how this is repeated, they never listen.

You got the clue, they never listen and it means having a harsh mind, so what are you doing if you already try for teach them about using the soft wallet (offline) and he does not listen to you? For those people are listening to the others suggestion, it's no need any special way for teaching them. it's not about need but for taking concern or nothing.
So what are you doing if they are never listening to you, just give them an evidence.
7830  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Have you seen the news about this mining farm? on: November 04, 2016, 12:50:00 AM
Just using the ASIC miner s9 with 14TH/s and will consuming 1475 watt. this a new generation of the mining tools.

https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/5aoskg/bitmains_new_xinjiang_computing_center_to_be/
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1668798.msg16758689#msg16758689

My calculations were based on the S9, but I thought its power consumption is 1375, not 1475 watt...
Okay, nice correcting and thanks.

Hmm... according to Peter Todd this farm would be as much as 75% of world's hashing power: https://twitter.com/petertoddbtc/status/793877455639498752

And Bitmain confirmed they are involved: https://twitter.com/BITMAINtech/status/794072384483442688

So, this is real...
But, it's too far from word of the completion and bitmain just having little shares on the planned facility?
I thought the miner are so rich. Thanks for this one also.
7831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Your Zcash mining cost? on: November 03, 2016, 11:49:11 PM
I think that it is better to go to move from that type of eeaning site online mining because mining isnt profitable anymore and it will not be soon i think.

look like its is for someones..for all who have old eqipment that they got investment back long time ago Wink
The difficult are not like bitcoin, it's so easy and about the old equipment are enough for getting some profit for mining zcash. if you are talking about the mining cost of zcash and that's not like mining bitcoin and really undemanding. I using two 750ti for mine this coin and although i just got a little Hs/s but it's not like your think. although just give a little money for me.  Tongue
7832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My first ICO and why I chose ICONOMI (ICN) on: November 03, 2016, 11:37:13 PM

real good..i am sure iconomi can invest in LEOcoin and make big profit for customers real fast!
What the fuck about your fuckin scam coin, oh god how this one is never feeling bored for promoting their fraud, give him a bright bounty.

For OP nice word, and for me personally and already mentioned in your essay about the clear planning of the future are make the complete structure of the project and I got another interesting word from your essay like this one.

Quote
Thats it, simple, no new “revolutionary” techonology, no disruption of markets (altought they claim at some point that it will disrupt the asset management industry, but i believe this is just considered a good marketing strategy in the virtual currency world) just a smart use of the ethereum network to bring something new for a huge industry that has historically been very opened to advances in techonology.
7833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: zcash wallet on: November 03, 2016, 02:09:27 PM
The domain names look good, but if this is about the online wallet I should for saying never trust with them, totally 1 offline will worth rather than using over 10 online. honestly, you can set this name with high amount. Grin
7834  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin related job on: November 03, 2016, 08:21:12 AM
hello. I'm looking for a job which the payment is bitcoin. I joined signature campaign, but I was banned. then I looked for the other signature campaign, but I found no spot available for new participants.
thank you.
You need to care much about your post quality in every signature campaign you will join. So you need to improve your posting quality before you start applying for new signature campaign to get accepted. Quality of post always matter than quantity in all signature campaigns.
actually I can translate English to Indonesian, but I'm not so good. I can edit videos, but I can't upload it because my connection is not so fast.
thank you.
You can check service announcement thread under altcoin section where new altcoin usually require their ANN thread get translated in different languages you can try your luck there.

If you don't have fast connnection how you gonna deliver edited videos to your client or even how you be able to download videos from client. You need to think about upgrading your internet connection to start video editing service.
Your suggestion are already enough for him but the main point of this he is lack of the effort for doing anything are suitable with their self, this not blame but the correct things are he need more try for searching about the correct job for their self.
7835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitmain's new Xinjiang computing center to be completed this December. 140,000kw on: November 03, 2016, 08:06:57 AM
I Googled Xinjiang and got this, " Xinjiang, an autonomous territory in northwest China, is a vast region of deserts and mountains. It's home to many ethnic minority groups, including the Turkic Uyghur people. The ancient Silk Road trade route linking China and the Middle East passed through Xinjiang, a legacy that can be seen in the traditional open-air bazaars of its oasis cities, Hotan and Kashgar. "

A lot of interesting non-related words pop up there. < Highlighted in bold >

I was just wondering why they would chose a desert for a mining farm? A huge mining farm needs cooling and a desert will need even more cooling? It gets pretty cold at night and I see the geographical map shows high mountains?

Anyone have more info?
Exactly you get the right point, and how must in the Xinjiang. but there is no more are giving the another explanation about the placing of a computing center in the Xinjiang desert. According to the geographic of the Xinjiang, it's looks like so crap for building the computing center in there. The desert is so hot at the daylight and pretty cold at night. There is no more info about that, we are just able for waiting about the fact of that.
7836  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Understanding the Chinese Yuan’s Influence on the Bitcoin Price on: November 03, 2016, 02:19:32 AM
Gone through article and i also agree on few of the events like brexit and current yuan devaluation have played a significant role in price pump. Basically bitcoin is becoming a way for citizens of all developing countries to keep them in safer side from devaluation of their local currency.
Just a little devaluation, it's having a role in the price pump but not giving a lot of the contribution for that, and i should believe other factors are giving more about the price pump. it's can but everyone will not for tasting the effect for a little devaluation.
7837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: thoughts on ZCoin on: November 03, 2016, 01:36:28 AM
Title says it all, 3..2..1... discussion go! Throw in arguments! Is Zerocoin legit, why or why not. Is it a serious competitor to ZCash?
I remember the good old days of crypto that Zerocoin would become an amazingly big coin, with an intense amount of hype.. however I believe Zcash formerly was called Zcoin. The site of zero coin.com also redirects to zcash... Im not entirely sure of this situation; even though these both have groundbreaking technology I am curious whether XZC has the support behind them needed to compete vs ZCash
Are you believe if zcash and zcoin are same? No, I don't. in my opinions, it's very different in my mind.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/zcoin/
this is so far from becoming a serious competitor for zcash, in fact, you can buy a lot of zcoin just with 1 on your zcash. for my personally zcoin is not more than ant for zcash.
7838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitmain's new Xinjiang computing center to be completed this December. 140,000kw on: November 03, 2016, 01:20:24 AM
I doubt that they will use S9's. My guess is to gear up for their next antminer 10?.
From most of the post i've read the s9 breaks down a lot so why invest in a new facility with a poor miner.
Exactly if the antminer 10 generation will coming, but for use S9 it's just more on the personal assumption because it's the latest antminer in this time.

Yes, you're right.
7839  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Have you seen the news about this mining farm? on: November 03, 2016, 12:56:11 AM
They are stating it would be ready by next month so I guess that its almost build. Anyways, can someone more familiar with the current ASICs try to estimate what would be their hash power? My best guess is about 150 PH, which is ~15% of the world's hashrate...
Just using the ASIC miner s9 with 14TH/s and will consuming 1475 watt. this a new generation of the mining tools.

How much mining power this can bring will be main question as well as i don't think this one mining farm can centralize mining power but this will add up more hashing power coming from china.

Images on twitter post showing really huge farms, but couldn't get info regarding total hashpower they will be adding to bitcoin mining.
If that is true, this will be a huge farm in this year over 1000 s9.
https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/5aoskg/bitmains_new_xinjiang_computing_center_to_be/

Quote
For Antminer S9 batch 19 it is 13.5 TH/s @ 1455W.

Their new facility would then produce 140000/1.455×13.5 = 1,298,969 TH/s

According to blockchain.info, current totalt Bitcoin network hash is 1,550,714 TH/s.

So Bitmains new facility would be at 1,298,969/1,550,714x100 = 83.77% of current network hash rate.

Or 1,298,969/(1,550,714+1,298,969)x100 = 45.58% of total network hash rate if they launched today.
