7821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you buy for money won? on: April 03, 2017, 07:58:29 PM
Nice question, I bought many things I wanted with earning from my bitcoin gambling. More then that I had money to gamble like a pro in some moments when I had more then 2 bitcoins for gambling, that was a good moments. But recently I didn't have some great win on slots like I had before.
7822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Litecoin (The Ultimate Question) on: April 03, 2017, 02:47:08 PM
Both predictions are optimistic and probably non of this two predictions will come true in 2 years from now. Don`t get me wrong I have some litecoins and I would love ltc to cost much more then now, but its impossible. I would be satisfied if ltc come to 30-40 dollars in next couple years.
Btc is something else, but I wonder how OP find this 7500 dollars, from where? Like someone said that price in two years can be just some pump, and after few minutes of that price we can expect big crash.
7823  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: April 03, 2017, 09:14:33 AM
Because in a few years the popularity of bitcoin will become much higher. And if this happens, then we will see a price increase, directly proportional to the growth in demand for the Cryptocurrency.

Looking at the present growth in bitcoin we can easily assume that the future of bitcoin will be even brighter and it will be holding a higher price too and if truly happens then we would regret in future for not investing in bitcoins at the right time and this is that best time to invest in bitcoins.

You can look at the present or at the past, bitcoin is growing back then and now, there is no difference. Of course now when the price is high, everything is on higher level, more shops, more casinos, more sites that accept bitcoins, things are happening for bitcoin. And that is why bitcoin was and is good investment, because even on 2000 dollars for one bitcoin we will see more free space for bitcoin to worth even more then that, so buying and investing in bitcoins is always a good choice for people who are looking where to invest their money.
7824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: April 02, 2017, 07:26:45 PM
20 years from now bitcoin will rule the world probably, because this progress until now and plus 20 more years will be enough for bitcoin to make some miracles in global economy. Some people hear about bitcoins only now, and many more heard but they didn`t involve with bitcoins. I think this times are hard for many people, difference between rich and poor people is bigger then ever, and many people will see salvation in bitcoin or some other altcoin. Thats why this digital revolution will be on highest peak in 20 years from now, bitcoin started something big.
7825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Go to Land Based Casinos? on: April 02, 2017, 04:40:30 PM
Do you gamble at land based casinos?

I gamble just with bitcoins, two years now, and I didn't go to any real casino in that time, except when I was on summer vocation, I was in some little casino club, bit I didn't have good internet there, I don't even have a desire to go in real casino, I have everything from home, and its more expensive to go in real casino to be honest, that's why I prefer online, I can gamble even with small bets. And I dont have expenses for trip to casino and back.
7826  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible for us to hack some gambling sites? on: April 02, 2017, 03:27:21 PM
Funny thing is you are wearing a gambling site signature and avatar while writing this  Undecided

You should close this thread now in my opinion.

Irony or something more? It's very irresponsible from him to do such thing, to ask about hacking casinos but in the same time to promote one online casino.

The owner of gambling site aware about the security, not many people can hack it, if there is one people can hack he wont do it..

Owners needs to secure funds, and they pay big money for that. Hacking casino is not easy, I believe they are more protected then banks probably, and we all saw what is happening with people who try to scam casinos and their owners, usually some mafia people. They are protected, only way to hack casino is from inside, like there was a case with online exchangers.
7827  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Send Bitcoins Without Fees [No Miner Fees] on: April 02, 2017, 06:21:36 AM
I use xapo, or better to say that xapo was my first wallet. In beginning xapo was ideal for me for all low amount transactions, from all the faucets and micro earnings. I still use that wallet for some micro transactions, their android app is also very good, I have it on my phone. All in all xapo is good wallet and they are here for a long time.
7828  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can break above $1,100 again? on: April 01, 2017, 04:10:04 PM
Here we go again, the cycle continues.  Grin Grin Grin

Hopefully this time it's not a trap.

There will be always traps with bitcoin price, do not doubt in that! I see some members here refer on history as a pointer for the future, and I noticed that in summer time prices are going down and recover after summer vocations. That is happening twice while I'm here on forum, so maybe there is truth that we can expect prices to go down again and only after summer to expect rise. Halving was last year, and maybe this price behavior was because of that, I don't know I will follow price movement carefully like I always do.
7829  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: April 01, 2017, 11:51:27 AM
What are the things to do to succeed in trade? What are you doing to make your business bigger?
How can we make more money?

There is no general rule for making your business bigger, and for making more profit. For each business you have specific rules that you need to follow, and only things that connects successful people is their character I think. You need to be smart and well informed about your specific business, you need to have knowledge and to know how to apply that in real life, invest a lot of time and effort and all the profit you make in first couple years put back into your business, no spending for stupid things.
7830  Economy / Exchanges / Re: The Return of Crypotocurrency Withdrawals? on: April 01, 2017, 09:14:17 AM
Huh TWO of the "big three" Chinese bitcoin exchanges Huobi and OKCoin are implementing video verification. Sure, it is so much better that on-site verification. If everything works out well, can we expect bitcoin withdrawals soon?

Probably soon.

And also i don't think that they're that much better than on-site verification. Usually they ask for your ID and you upload it and that's about it. But now they have to ask you for a live stream as well.

Another reason to store your bitcoins offline in a cold wallet.

Or just store it in whatever payment processor the currency you're trading with deals with, instead of holding it on an exchange.

Wait, you have to submit an identification AND do a live stream with them to verify you are who you say? This could be circumvented as well through fake IDs so don't really see the point.

I never heard about video verification until now, is there any existing service that use this sort of verification? I wonder will some people quit Huobi and OKCoin because of this. It will be very interesting to watch how this situation will develop in China, they are one of the first countries that will have some kind of regulations and we will see how will this affect on bitcoin users there, and how they will react on that. This will be a lesson to all of us, who knows will other exchange sites follow the same idea.
7831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is not worth it, right? on: March 31, 2017, 01:16:49 PM
Everything that make you pleasure or entertain you on any way worth the money you pay for that. Gambling is the game and you need to understand that many of us find a pleasure in playing gambling games, so for us its worthy to spend some money on playing few quality rounds of some game, wheatear we won or lose, because we know it's a game, you can't win all the time, but you will come back next time and you will try to be better and win.
7832  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What places do you do your shopping online? on: March 31, 2017, 08:19:42 AM
My girlfriend is using AliExpress for years, and when I need something she order me that. But few games I bought with bitcoins on steam, and couple things here on forum. I also have couple sites here in my country that I use, but they are local and on local language kupindo and limundo.
7833  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying clothes with bitcoins? on: March 30, 2017, 01:05:59 PM
Really, it is a very bad idea to buy clothes with bitcoin because already we are spending our fiat currency in buying the clothes. Bitcoin is a high-valuable asset like gold, don't sell your bitcoin for simple reasons. Bitcoin is a long term investment, so keep them with until the price of bitcoin touches the sky.

Now tell me what kind of reasons merchants needs then to accept bitcoin as payment method? Not just them, why would anyone accept bitcoin when everyone is saving it? All that needs to exist and people should spend bitcoins, in that way economy is growing, there will be more transactions and miners will have profit from that and they will continue to mine. I'm not for saving, except if you earn a lot and you can afford to spend some and save some.
7834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan to accept Bitcoin as payment method. on: March 30, 2017, 09:15:06 AM
By the end of 2016, there were around 4200 Bitcoin-accepting merchants and storefronts in Japan, near quadrupling the total from 2015. Now, with the current progress in Bitcoin regulation made by Japanese authorities, the number of merchants accepting Bitcoin is expected to quintuple to 20000 this year. Indeed, good times for Bitcoin adoption are coming.

And imagine all the people that will come to watch Olympics? No more bothering about currency exchanging, you go to another country and you pay with bitcoins in any restaurant, you can buy something else, what a relief will bitcoin be for people that plan to go there and have bitcoins.
I hope we will see some statistics after Olympics about this topic, how many people will spend some bitcoins in this shops, this will be a test for bitcoin.
7835  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: March 29, 2017, 01:14:31 PM
Let's be honest about buying bitcoins, many of us would love to do that but we are just not in financial position for that. It's good to have couple bitcoins in wallet for future, who knows how far can bitcoin get, that is the best reason to buy and have bitcoins.
7836  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying clothes with bitcoins? on: March 29, 2017, 11:25:13 AM
I don't know why the idea of shopping with bitcoins sounds amazing. However, I searched the websites which uses bitcoins as a payment method, I saw that there are really limited websites. I hope that the number of these web sites will increase, but I'm not sure though If I wanted to spend my btc at all.

It's "amazing" for who wants to resell clothes. Buying with Bitcoins can give the buyers a chance to buy stuff cheaper and sell it more expensive for fiat, next they can convert to BTC again. It's a good deal, but as you said, there isn't many stores online selling clothes for Bitcoins at this moment, this plan won't work well until some big online stores start accepting Bitcoin as payment method.

Mrcash02 talks about profit here, how to make more bitcoins with reselling clothes. And this can work if someone can find quality clothes for cheap and then have good difference when selling it later.
Olcaytu2005 you need to realize that only circulation of bitcoins can make this economy grow, how do you think that merchants will accept bitcoin if no one spends it? Help bitcoin economy, contribute a bit, buy something, don't just save.
7837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling investment is zero sum on: March 29, 2017, 05:23:14 AM
Gambling investment is zero or negative sum, considering the house has to profit.

So why are you guys do bitcoin gambling as an investment instruments? OR merely just for the fun, like going to a physical casino.

Its not always zero or negative sum, did you think about that? And just fun or a little more depends from bankroll in my case, more bigger in this case means more serious gambling. I don't need to go to physical casino when I have all the games on internet and I can play what I wish how much I wish without any bothering.
House always win, and few others, I gamble cause I like it and cause I have good wins from time to time.
7838  Economy / Goods / Re: WTB A car from Europe! on: March 28, 2017, 11:18:54 AM
I bought a car in town by the border, 300km from my place. Car is Citroen C4 from 2006 for 3000 euros, I think I made a good buy, car is in a good shape I need just to register it, car is imported from Netherlands.
Thanks everyone who tried to help, I will lock this thread now.
7839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do miners really think destroying Bitcoin will make them rich? on: March 27, 2017, 02:18:22 PM
~ Pay less fees < Just be patient > They are getting $350 000 daily in higher tx fees according to Trace Mayer.
~ Fire up the old miners and host nodes to have a say
~ Ask developers to change the code to keep them honest or to remove the hold they have over the Bitcoin users.

If this is true what Trace Mayer say that daily fees are 350 000 dollars that is a lot, but how many miners needs to split that amount? Is there any info about that? I could`t find any answer on that in this thread, and in search over internet, almost all is just about hash power.

Miners have invested millions in bitcoin, do you really think they're so stupid to destroy it?

If you are opposed to the miners, you should think twice about your opinions, because miners only want 1 thing.

Miners want bitcoin to be successful, because otherwise they lose millions.

That is logical assumption, and in all this argues in the forum about bitcoin next step I believe that miners will come up wish some good solution in the end. Like you said millions of dollars are in the game, and why would they ruin all that, and all future potential that bitcoin have.
7840  Economy / Economics / Re: Difference of Trading and Investing? on: March 27, 2017, 10:04:38 AM
trading is a form of investing.....among other forms.

This is important part, and answer on OP`s question in headline. This is same topic like what is the difference between investing and gambling, we can apply same answer here, gambling is a form of investing. Giving money and waiting for profit is investing, no matter in what you decide to invest end of story.
