No bet means no gamble.
When mining bitcoins there is no bet or stake. Instead, a mathematical problem is solved and this earns a monetary reward.
Isn't the bet your electricity? but i don't think mining is gambling

You can make money through work (referrals, advertisement). It is good if you don't want to spend money.

Not with the price going up/down by $50 a day.

Guys, stop posting to this thread. Can mods please look into this.
Why? What's wrong with the thread? They are not giving any ripples starting June 1. How do you know?

It sounds like maybe mining isn't the way to go. Kazimir, how would you recommend buying Bitcoins for investment purposes? coinbase.com?
Online wallets like coinbase is not recommended to fetch your roi . Cold storage is the way to go. Yes, that's right. Online wallets can't be guaranteed to stay safe.

I must point out that in the case of a launch of an EMP weapon from a boat in the Gulf of Mexico, there would be no immediate traceback to the perp
So, they can track missile launches on the other side of the planet, but not in their own back yard? The key word here is boat. If a missile is launched from mainland North Korea, it'd be pretty obvious that the missile belongs to North Korea. But a boat in the Gulf of Mexico could belong to anyone. It could be North Korea. Or maybe China, or Russia, or literally any other country that owns both boats and missiles. That's why submarines are such a critical part of nuclear strategy: they can go almost anywhere in the world without being detected and then fire their missiles without anyone knowing which country was responsible. Actually I would not be so quick to believe that a boat in the Gulf of Mexico, large enough to launch an EMP device able to have a significant effect would not be tracked. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Over-the-horizon_radar![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fupload.wikimedia.org%2Fwikipedia%2Fcommons%2F0%2F0c%2FRothr_range.jpg&t=663&c=2-qbrr2YKpUBEQ) There is a reason why the drug smugglers are using these now: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.darkgovernment.com%2Fnews%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2008%2F09%2Fdrug-smuggling-submarine.jpg&t=663&c=0C5ldyhQ2R24gA) This is very true, I agree.

Very interesting idea! I've never seen a casino where you can win product keys before. You should allow free spins to test (no prize of course).
