Liverpool were just overly wasteful! They had all the chances in the world to put the tie under their control but, they blew it and Salah was the major culprit if you'd ask me. He's touches were just so horrible, If Salah scored that first chances then the story could all have been different.
I still hold my first place in the pool and now mathematically, all I need to win is for @LTU_btc not to get the exact scores of all remaining 5 fixtures while I don't get up to 3 points from all.
It all started from the very first attack. It was probably the game's biggest chances but his shot was weak, a bit harder and it might have gone in between the legs. I don't blame him, though, it was instinctive and 2/3 times it would have snuck in but thereafter, everything went wide of goal. 5 more games left so yeah I don't see standings change very much unless someone picks a crazy score and it actually hits. GL to you all!

Liverpool banged on the doors but could not crack it open. Out of UCL so have lost not just a parlay but my early season outright, ah well. Not that it mattered. Botafago and Inter Escaldes both also fell in their games, so no insurance either! Let's just go for a single on Granada to avenge their defeat. Can't let United progress, now can we? 100 units at Fairlay on Granada to WIN vs Utd @7.56. Other odds: 7.00 100 units at Fairlay on Dinamo Zagreb to WIN vs Villareal @7.98. Other odds: 7.30 Total Units advantage: 56+68 = 124 Running advantage after 308 bets: +21,115 (+124) All-time cumulative: +58,663 Running units after 306 bets (398W|258L): +10,284 (-100)

Man, we've been creating chance after chance, and Real's just relying on counters but we've not really tested Courtois, almost every shot going wide. Salah, Firmino, Gini even Jota. We really need a goal in the next 5-10 minutes for a grandstand finish but man are Real slowing the game down a lot. Can't bear to watch, it's just trickling away!

Not to be a downer or anything -- I'm as cautious with the good as I am with the bad, when it comes to experts from that part of the political agenda.
Also, don't think he actually proved anything, just found a lot of evidence that contradicts past conclusions/findings from people on his side of the fence.
And hasn't it been old news since at least Silk Road and including data from Chainalysis (which CIA or FBI uses, can't recall) as early as 2016 that Bitcoin's use in illicit activities is just really, really low, and keeps getting lower? Edit: the very same "less than 1%" data from Chainalysis is referenced in this report.
Still pretty interesting though!

Still can't really figure out why the Reds are such clear favourites when the first leg was rather one-sided plus we only grabbed the Villa victory on the nape of its neck.
I got a big bet on them qualifying though, almost 3/1 (also pretty strange to me ha) but they should do this either by winning 2-0 or 3-1, forcing extra time and a penalty. If Real score to, we have to get 5 goals -- a tough call in any game.
Let's see.

Talking about raising an eyebrow - the source isn't the most legit one either, so the views here are for the argument sake only.
Aye, they're a bit better than the general lot, and if it's informed sources being used, then I'm okay to take it at face value, just perhaps there's a lot more to the story than is being let on. Pretty sure FBI/CIA/whomever will have experimented plenty with mixers already to know enough, though so not discounting they'd consider using it. On the other hand, getting rid of these tagged tokens wouldn't be much of an issue since many people would for sure queue up for BTC specially given its latest rally.
Fungibility at its finest.

Not really since the goalkeeper punched the ball from penalty shot in the corner. It was just a point for corner instead of a point for goal. I was waiting for both to score on that game so got hurt by that miss quite bad.
Ah yes, of course. Always so sharp Trofo, always so sharp;) Btway, in today's Chelsea game against Porto the teams scored 21 points in total, (so I propose to collect the eggs into a fist and finally wait for the blackjack). Without deviating from the topic ... under the auspices of blackjack, I would prefer to see "Real and Liverpool" fight tomorrow.
The games are getting pretty close these days, and in all manners too. Chelsea Porto had only one goal, and all 6 card/goal points came from the visitors; don't think I've seen a 21-pointer with just the single goal. Didn't watch but am assuming the yellow came from goal celebrations or fighting for the ball in injury time (Same player who scored and got carded).

Newcastle Jets killed our small parlay already but it would have been a bigger shame had it won since Chelsea anyway fell to Porto in the death. A return of a 5-leg boosted insured parlay including UCL legs, with another big Australian A-league to kick it off? Because it's awesome, that's why! 100 units on Adelaide Utd, Botafago, Inter Club Escaldes, Liverpool, City to WIN @21.96. Other odds: 20.60 Units advantage: 136 Also, realised forgot to adjust win total, so now it's correct: Running advantage after 306 bets: +20,991 (+136) All-time cumulative: +58,539 Running units after 305 bets (398W|257L): +10,384 (-100)

And there is yet another group that is not mentioned often enough but there are people that just want to use bitcoin to buy stuff, they do not want to be investors and they don't want to be traders the only thing that they want is for bitcoin to give them the freedom to buy whatever they want without the government find out and snooping in every single transaction that they make, and I have the feeling that group is going to be a lot bigger than the other two in the future.
I'd like to offer my nod to them too. I know of quite a few as well. They're not exactly what I'd call holders. They definitely have long-term savings but they're more than willing to dip into it to run a Bitcoin-based business or even give it away to newbies every now and then. They tend to be business people themselves, and are quite high on the experimental adoption (among the first to use segwit and then lightning, for example, and almost all run a node). Don't know if that group grows much but they're there quietly minding their own business and strengthening the network in ways that'll never be visible. Sad for us maybe but not for them.

Now the interest part is bookies backing Bayern (@2.95) over PSG (@2.16). We will have an interesting fight tonight Guess you mean the opposite odds as that's what I've been seeing all day too, but it was almost the exact same odds offered on the first leg, PSG closer to 3/1 and Bayern closer to 2/1. Edging closer and closer with every passing hour. Putting my money on a goalscorer instead here. Mbappe is 7/1 to score first. I bet you he's never been hungrier than ever to finally get his team over the finish line... if they win and overcome City, they'll be well worth the final!

Time for another title edit or another thread? Might as well draft a few more threads now OP as I get the feeling we're not done yet even in this week.
All the same, keep it up. I do look forward to these threads to keep my own spirits entertained.
We salute you.

I probably shouldn't be reminding you guys to put in your picks, and hope to catch a few people off-guard with tonight's matches, but since I'm a nice guy;)
I got a bet on Bayern, and Chelsea, but am so tempted to pick PSG again. Last time I parlayed them with Liverpool so it was wasted. Maybe BTTS and a Chelsea -1 handicap might be the way to go but I need odds of 5/1 to make go brrrr;)

$70K this month, $200K this year. No whale with at least $1M worth BTC won't be selling their bag at this moment because bitcoin has not got even close to the limit of its potential. Regarding institutional investments, they keep getting involved. A slight drop will cause a bigger rise as tons of people are waiting for any dip to buy.
As crazy as it sounds right now, that's even a conservative estimate compared to some heavyweight predictions floating around (PlanB at 300k and Bloomberg at 400k ha)! But yeah, $70k would be a nice and convenient figure to aim for this month, and as you say, even the most conservative whale would be waiting for at least 100k before even considering moving BTC out in preparation for liquidation. Exciting times ahead and we're barely in Q2.

Wouldn't be surprised if FBI or anyone in regulations would try to mix coins, since they were the ones questioning fungibility at some point. Not sure anyone cares now at this point. I'd certainly buy tagged coins if they came at a cheaper price. But would be very surprised if they used any of the "commercial" ones that suffer from a chronological path shortcoming that would be easier to breakdown in tracing.

Yeah, that will teach me lessons about tennis. Not easy to judge winners, actually hit 3 unfancied singles and lost this parlay on the first leg (Humbert) to a straight set! A daring bet for today, why not? A tight home win in Australia, another Porto defeat, and Bayern revenge, because the Germans will bite back hard. 100 units on Newcastle Jets, Chelsea and Bayern to WIN @10.79. Other odds: 10.55 Units advantage: 24 Running advantage after 305 bets: +20,855 (+24) All-time cumulative: +58,403 Running units after 304 bets (397W|256L): +10,484 (-100)

Saints down to two first-half goals, they did come back from behind to win in their last game but it's going to be a really tough feat to repeat now with almost 85% of the game gone. A draw's probably more realistic to expect from a fightback even if they score 3 now...
Points-wise, well on track though with 17 points at 76 mins, if the average continues, it's going to be 21..!

Can't say I've used Coinbase OR Gemini, they both aren't able to service me (that could have changed recently especially with Coinbase EU but I've never bothered checking again).
I can, however, speak about PayPal, whom I've been a customer of almost as soon as they were available in my country (circa 2006 IIRC). If you think Coinbase, etc has bad customer support, you will not be happier at PayPal.
Not once in my entire history of being with them did they actually address any of my issues or complaints. Once blocked (which happened frequently due to nature of my work always shifting location), I'd have to wait 3 months or 6 months for it to be auto unblocked. And this is from an account that was fully verified multiple times, never marked for fraud, never had a complaint against etc.
It's not a coincidence at all I moved to Bitcoin about 10 years after that, chiefly because I was urgently in need of a PayPal alternative.

Nice catch OP, have to say I've seen my fair share of old posts but this one really takes the juice on many levels.
Be super interesting to see where these traders are at today, probably also riding high since last year with stock markets hitting ATHs in various bourses but they'd probably be envious of what Bitcoin's done in the same span of time.
Better still, how many of them have gone to the other side;)
