Lo and Behold, Qatar are Champions of Asia! it has been an incredible journey for them all through the tournament and without no doubt, they fully deserve to win the trophy. They were one of the underdogs coming into the tournament but I became a fan after their first game against Lebanon, and gradually they became my favorite team in the tournament, I've back them in every single match after the first game, as well as to win the trophy with 6x odds  Tongue
7862  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices will continue to fall on: February 01, 2019, 05:33:39 PM
ADVFN opinion, which proves that BTC can fall to the level of $ 2,500. And an analyst recently said that BTC could fall to the level of $ 1,100 if the predictions go well. Source: https://ethereumworldnews.com/crypto-prediction-bitcoin-fall-1100-litecoin-6/

....
What do you think about all those statements ...?

ADVFN is entitled to their opinion, just like every other individual, and opinions doesn't connote reality. Bitcoin has the same chance of reaching $50k as it does have a chance of falling to $1k or below, in the end no one knows what would really happen, neither can anyone not even "ADVFN" can decide what price bitcoin will be in the nearest future, Only the market will decide. The best anyone can do is to make an informed guess, using how they expect the market to react to events and news surrounding market which IMO should be considered as a speculation.

snip

Thanks for the thread and a great month man! February will surely be better...

I could have given it a try but the match is on already, I however already had them on -3.5 for the 1st quarter.

I'm going to see the match, and I'll be looking to make one or two live bets anyways, GSW should be able to continue their impressive winning streak.

Well, another win for you buddy.

Looks like you are luckier when betting on per quarter only, the 2nd q looks not good for the Warriors.

I feel extremely lucky man! considering the warriors finally gets to lose after 11 games and I have stated already initially that GSW are due for a lose, I was taken aback by the 76ers performance in the 3rd quarter and the warriors just couldn't recover.

Will not tail this one, because I'm interested with other game, which is the warriors and the Sixers.

I also got interested in the Golden State Warriors vs 76ers match. GSW are obviously in a terrific form with 11 consecutive wins, but IMO are due for a lose and that might just be the 76ers getting the job done.

Happy New Month To Everyone, Best wishes for the New Month!

Do away with the juice if possible because it's like you are putting yourself into a situation where you allow them to have an edge.

I know you know what I mean, dice have 1% house edge, but with 1.95 odds, there is 5% house edge, although it's not really the term, but it will affect your long term journey, and you cannot just win 51% to be profitable, you need like 60% which is hard considering that OP is now at below 60% but his picks are hitting.

Thanks for the heads up Smiley

Tomorrow's advance pick.

Bucks +2.5 vs Raptors -2.5

Raptors are going to play their first game back at home, still don't have their center playing with them as it's still recovering from injury.
Bucks is also a good team but I think they are not good enough playing on the road, therefore, I'll be backing the Raptors in this game.

My pick Raptors -2.5

Tailed! Let's go get this!
I divided my betting budget for this fixture into two, I used half on the Raptors -1.5 in the 1st Quarter and the other half on the Pick  Wink
I'm not sure if I'll be able to see the match though, or could tune in pretty late.
7865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: January 31, 2019, 05:36:12 AM
Ok it looks like you break that losing streak with the Philadelphia win
I'm also a basketball fan but haven't been active in my online betting this year. Will regularly check your tips next month and see how it goes.
Yes, indeed he break the losing streak with Philly's win but, Another win is most certainly achieved already with  the Trailblazers pick.
We look forward to have you here.

Waiting now for the next game, seems that Op rest for today's game.

OP has updated he's pick several hours ago already, I guess you missed out on that. He's reply was just 2 above yours

Pick Updated - Grin
It seems like another win is going to be added to the bag! Portland Trailblazers currently up by 29 points going in the 4th Quarter, They dictated the game from the very 1st Quarter.

Portland Trailblazers won 132:105
@OP made this pick look ridiculously easy  Shocked
7866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 30, 2019, 10:36:53 PM
Had hot spurs to win but also had liverpool to win and they were disappointments in a draw against a struggling team.

Sorry for your loss mate, I chose to avoid placing bet on the match because I was expecting this, I made the correct prediction though Roll Eyes
I'd predict 1 - 1 draw.
7867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 30, 2019, 09:49:46 PM
Strange indeed with Chelsea losing 4-0 while if I remember correctly last year they were also beaten by Bournemouth. This league is the one with the major surprises happening, Liverpool struggling to win tonight , Chelsea losing and both Manchesters losing it is one of those strange weeks in the Premier League.

It was really crazy midweek and so many surprises, Higuain had his dream debut IMO, so much for the transfer to be completed already. I don't see him performing any better than Morata   Wink
7868  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of bitcoin be like a bubble, how do we react to it on: January 30, 2019, 07:36:25 PM

As predicted from various circles, the price of bitcoin is very high which is worried that it will be like a bubble, one day it will break apart,,

I've seen so many posts about Bitcoin being compared to a bubble that will eventually burst someday, How can anyone tell if that is true or not ? If there is real use.
Bitcoin was once worth $17,000 but for now is worth only ~ $3,400 dollars and It's still considered to be very high or overpriced. What then should be an ideal price for Bitcoin according to them, 10 cent ?
7869  Other / Meta / Re: AWESOME (AND UNDERUSED) FORUM FEATURE! on: January 30, 2019, 07:00:55 PM
Sadly you make yourself part of the issue when you say people are trolling with baseless accusations when they are presenting facts and observable events.

Want to be left out of it then don't be so net negative to the board.

Lol, why do you think everything evolves around you ? I never even thought about you for a second when I made the reply, I have nothing whatsoever against you bud, the fact that I disagree with you on an occasion or two doesn't change that, Get over yourself, really.
7870  Other / Meta / Re: AWESOME (AND UNDERUSED) FORUM FEATURE! on: January 30, 2019, 06:25:34 PM
The ignore feature is worthless.  If I used it every time it's warranted, what would I do for entertainment?

To some extent it's all fun and entertaining, but it does get annoying and irritating with time when you see some folks bring up baseless trolls most especially when you're being brought into the issue.
7871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Bitcoin on: January 30, 2019, 05:14:35 PM
The Bitcoin is the native Coin, and the most important at the moment. But in some Points I don't see the Future in Bitcoin.

So far there is continuous development, I don't see the future of Bitcoin as stake even though there's a huge possibility be of something far better as technology advances.

You were able to highlight some challenges Bitcoin currently faces, these challenges are not unsolvable however it just about a matter of time before reasonable solutions are proposed and implemented. When mobile phone was invented GSM was the peak, then came the option of GPRS, who would have thought we would witness something like 5G eventually ?
Bitcoin is a only a little over 10 years and there have significant update and features different from what it was at first, don't you think things can better ?
7872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 30, 2019, 03:30:46 PM
40 mln euro and only 2 mln a year .It looks like Milan did great deal
Next Milan game will be away against AS Roma
Both teams will like to win
And Piatek is like a dream story .one year ago he  and playing in very poor Polish club
He was not even in Polish under 21 team
His mentality is very strong he has great self confidence

It was a great deal for milan, for a player of 23 years of age. They'd get the best value of the money from him and could still sell him for a huge fortune if the bigger clubs like Real Madrid or Barcelona come calling.

He's started off on a flier, and things can really get better for him.

Snip

Can you just try to read previous posts before coming up with arrant nonsense. You'll never get banned for posting reports, except if it is an on forum giveaway which will result in a temporary ban anyways.

OP was banned for ban evasion, after his first account was banned for plagiarism.

Is this your Alt Account?

You are evading a ban:

This is my old account! He was banned for plagiarism when I didn't know the rules.

My current account - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1095337

Too bad you've got to learn about the rules the hard way. You are no longer allowed to use the forum after a ban.

Edit: @logfiles beat me to it.

Still positive minded despite of the 3 losing streak, we should not get affected by our emotion, either in a winning or losing streak, our emotion should always be stable. So going back to business.

Today's game

Lakers +7.6 vs Philly -7.5

Line open at +6.5 Lakers but move up since Butler is gonna play this game.
Coming from a loss, I think the Sixers will be very aggressive here, we can always count on Embiid to be beast again tonight.

Therefore, I'm very comfortable with my bet today.

Leaning on the Philly sixers -7.5

I only refreshed this thread page for  the last time  as I was a few seconds away from going to bed before Op made his pick, I had to tail this pick with an heavy eye, it paid off!!

We are back on track, now you know what ? Let's keep it that way! Tongue

Did any of you guys bookies offered the pick at an odd better than this ? If yes, which bookies is it ?
7875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 29, 2019, 10:54:44 PM
GOOOL Piatek
Milan lead 1-0 against Napoli on San Siro
just after 14 min of first half

Piatek  2i-0  great goal
San Siro has new God

He's had fantastic match on his debut against a big team, that'd boost his confidence too, I didn't expect him adapt this soon even though I know he's got the qualities.
7876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: January 29, 2019, 10:28:48 PM
As fan of Barca I'm really worried before tomorrow's game. Barca need to win by 3 goals, it will be difficult task, Sevilla is really good team. I didn't understood why Valverde played without Messi and some other important players against such powerful team. But Valverde don't think it was mistake because their priority is La Liga and Champions league. But c'mon, it's an important trophy! Why not to give them rest playing against bottom table teams in LaLiga?

Exactly, it could so easily have been better if it was 1 - 0 defeat in the 1st leg, with the away goal rule in place it will be a tough task to accomplish but I don't doubt this team at the Camp Nou, they could pull yet another come back, If they get an early goal then settle into the game.
7877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 29, 2019, 10:05:55 PM
WoW didn't expect that

COME ON LFC

Man City just blew their chance to put the pressure on Liverpool ahead of their match tomorrow against Leicester city. A win for Liverpool would make it mission impossible for any to catch up with them.
7878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 29, 2019, 07:24:35 PM
Arsenal are facing some injuries issues with their key defenders at the moment and I think Cardiff City might be able to score a few goals against Arsenal today, but I believe Arsenal would try to play more offensively rather than defensively today, so I think Arsenal would still be able to beat Cardiff City today by outscoring them at the end of the match.

Arsenal do have some injury worries with the likes of Konscielny and Bellerin being absent, but mere looking at the starting line up, Arsenal were still able to string a very strong team that should easily win today, most notably Mesut Ozil is also starting match, Ramsey, Iwobi and Xhaka on bench also mean there's quite some qualities that could be called upon from the bench too.
7879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asian Football Cup 2019 Discussion Thread on: January 29, 2019, 05:29:33 PM
but  most likely will go for Qatar to lift the trophy cause it's a happy story and it's a shame if they can't finish it with the trophy  Cheesy

It'll be a great sight to see, but should they fail to lift the trophy I don't think it would change their impressive tournament so far, They should be extremely proud of themselves regardless of the final outcome, but the tales will be more complete if they can win the trophy.
7880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 29, 2019, 04:53:13 PM
I read about Juventus signing ex-barcelona Centre Back, Martin Caceres from Lazio.
He is a replacement for Benatia who left the club. But with Bonucci injured Juve now has one player less in their defensive rotation.

I guess a swift deal for a CB before the end of the transfer window is well on cards then.
