7883  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: November 24, 2016, 12:24:52 AM
If you are looking for a more decentralized way of storing value, in which you have real control over your own money, in my opinion Bitcoin is a good choice. In addition, there is not much complication to use it, and the adoption of the currency increases every day.
Absolutely, none other than. Bitcoin is the most promising type of investment so far as the world is moving and we are going digital in the future. It's for everyone to invest because there's no restriction and no hassle requirements as long as you have the knowledge about bitcoin and you have cash you are good to go.
7884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 23, 2016, 12:02:52 PM
This game between Cleveland Cavaliers v Portland Trail Blazers will be close game. Any team which will be the winner is going to have narrow margin to win. Portland Trail Blazers are capable to turn the table that is what stops me to go for mainline. Under 218.5 points @1.80 odds is of what alternative I didn't find for the game.
I don't trust the Blazers to compete with the Cavaliers, they just lose Aminu which is a good scoring and in rebounding as well. I don't know but lately, the Blazers are not winning games like they used to before. I will stay away from this games as anything can happen.

I will try to look for better match up where I can see there's an advantage, too early to bet now, we need to have patience.

7892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: November 17, 2016, 04:02:29 AM
I actually never felt this one, but I play when betting sports gambling, and it is a ball sport. I am very happy to bet on every match, and guess what, I've won a gamble like this in a long time. Well, maybe at that time I was very lucky, but it may happen once in a lifetime  Smiley
Actually, there are many people choose to gamble as a way to have a stable income. I believe that you must be a very wise man because you said that you had won many games on sportbetting. If you can continue to manage yourself to win more and more bet, i think it is not hard to make gambling become profitable in long term
Even if you are able to somehow become one of the few persons that are long term winners, gambling provides anything but a stable income, some months you are going to do great while in others you will be barely getting by.

Those long term winners you are saying that gets stable income are the ones who have bigger bankroll. Because they have their very own big capital as they gamble.

They have more chance to have a lot of tries as they gamble and it is going to be in their advantage. And I disagree with what you are saying that, gambling provides stable income.
I did not say that gambling could make you a stable income, my whole post indicated the opposite, and how much capital you have has no relevance when it comes to winning or losing.
The possibility is always there, some people can make gambling as there stable source of income, but I think they can be counted compared to the total number of losers in gambling in this world. Gambling is all about chances so it's possible.
7893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: November 17, 2016, 03:51:23 AM
In my case, it's the opposite. I didn't get rich from gambling and just lost 3BTC in the process. I just gamble with faucets money I get from websites and just max bet it and hope it wins something big someday. Well, that would probably be a long shot.

hmm.. interesting.. Cen you tell us from which faucets you earn 3BTC? To eran so much it for sure is long process.. or maybe you hold this amount from the times when faucety giving away 1BTC per each claim?
But it is not bad if you lost money only from faucets. Actually, they are there to lern how work Bitcoin. For sure it was a good lesson for you ..
many people who lost their bitcoin just because of gambling, but they are not just looking for fortune in gambling, perhaps most of them only have a hobby of gambling. if they lose in gambling it is a natural thing, and if they get rich from gambling, it is a bonus for them. honestly, I know the gambler who has a lot of money today. I always try to follow his directions, but it never works

I also tried to follow sport betting and they have been proven to win and profit overall. But end up i also lost for either of them. So it is still best to control your destiny and if you are really good, you may profit from poker or sport betting.
Your passion plays a vital rule in gambling, a sports enthusiast should focus in sports betting, in that way you have a good chance of winning as you are not lazy in finding ways to win, like analyzing your bets and that will make you a good sports handicapper.
7894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 17, 2016, 03:42:14 AM
I am kinda pissed about how the Timberwolves lose in their games this season all of them are close games, well not exactly , they always blow off their league when the 2nd Half Begins. The 3rd Qtr is always crucial to there game as they always lack the push on both offense and defense. If they wake up I am sure that their will be a lot of Wins this season.
You can tell that they lack of experience and they do not have a good bench to step up when in times the starters were taking a rest, a smart bettor would always bet them in the first half as most of the time they are underdog so you will get vale betting on first half.
7895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: November 16, 2016, 08:58:24 AM
I think yes bitcoin is the future money. Currently it is getting spike in acceptance - which is important for the prices to rise and traders to invest more in it. Gradually more merchants will accept the coin and it will be used by maximum number of people with all types of articles. So yes the future of money is here folks Grin
It could be but with less chances, maybe there is a limitation for online currency only but in real world it's most likely not to happen, people are still comfortable in using paper money or cash as their legal currency as they believe what the government made. It's of course easy to use and no internet required to transact.
7896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: November 16, 2016, 08:52:17 AM
To play gambling in a smart way just remember do not bet all your money in one bet because if that bet lose then you will not have a chance to recover that loss. So bet wise and do not be greedy you should control yourself when to stop. Most people just keep betting even they are winning already and they will end up losing after the end of the day.
In simply word you need a bankroll management , not a yolo bet right?
Set your daily winning and losing limit if you are a regular gambler.
That is the smartest action you can do in gambling , but i dont think people agree with this opinion as a lot of people think that gambling itself is not a smart action.
The first thing you have to determine is why you are gambling, if you gamble for fun then you make sure you will enjoy the time you allotted in your gambling session, the longer you gamble the more you are entertain, however if it's for the money going all in or yolo is good if you are confident with your bets.
7897  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: November 16, 2016, 08:17:43 AM
Bitcoin is more safe you cannot get robbed as a example, you can always have it with you if you have your phone with you.
Another thing is that you can pay with it all over the globe no transfer to fiat.

I agree you cannot get robbed by someone with cash this is the problem, you are much safer with the bitcoin plus it has more functions too.

indeed, i am agree that bitcoin can not be robbed but for now, i think having a cash is really important too beside we have bitcoin, because cash is still familiar with all people in every country and for bitcoin, there are just a few country that will know bitcoin. but it will not happen if bitcoin is know by every country and every people is using bitcoin, then maybe having bitcoin is a must that we should do.

Yeah both cash and bitc9ins are important it's just for me when it comes to investment I prefer bitc9ins because it's online all you have to do is to have an internet and a smartphone or laptop to do it. And it's more safer.
Maybe you have not experience losing your bitcoin online that's why you concluded that it's safer, in my point of view this two have different purpose, cash has inflation but bitcoin fights inflation but if we see which has the bigger risk, it should be bitcoin.
7898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: November 16, 2016, 08:02:35 AM
no i do not thing that bitcoin can help poor countries because the poor countries have no facilities available to them, they cannot even trade bitcoin because they even cannot afford internet and cannot having good amount of money to buy bitcoin.
poor countries doesn't mean their people can't afford anything, inside poor countries also having classes such as high class(rich),middle class, and the poor
and even if the people can't even afford a computer and an internet, government can just make a computer + internet access for commercial in there, only if the government want to put an effort
they can afford stuff, but you bring up another very interesting point. there are different classes. it would be interesting to talk about which class uses bitcoin, which could benefit from it the most.
In poor countries people lacks education and I mean majority of them, I live in 3rd world country and the unemployment rate is very high here, so with the advent of bitcoin I hope it can help them somehow but the big problem is you need to be literate to be able to understand the concept of bitcoin.

Sometimes people focus just on problems, we need to focus on solutions, like how we can use bitcoin to have a better life? How can we introduce this do more people?

How we can create an local community that accept bitcoin and how it can be an solution to have a better life?
Good suggestions leads to better solution, it's actually hard to promote bitcoin to people who are not living in an online world. Please take consideration that bitcoin is not supported by the government and when people know that they will be skeptical about bitcoin.
7899  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: November 16, 2016, 07:53:58 AM
Montlhy Gold/Bitcoin Performance Comparison

Gold -2.42% (last 30 days according to goldprice.org)
BTC +11.75% (last 30 days according to bitcoinwisdom.com)

Isn't it nice?
Dude you are only looking at the 30 days performance, for sure if you will try to consider the performance for maybe at least 5 years you can tell that gold is way better as an investment if you look for consistent profit. For 30 days gold is -2.42% but it can happen to bitcoin even in one day.

Try to see the big picture I believe.
7900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: November 15, 2016, 02:31:57 PM
For me, the right thing to do is to invest. Gambling brings exposure to high risks, and unless you do it for fun, it would not be advisable.
Absolutely the best solution is to invest, you have to do that if you are aiming for profit. The question is just something like "would you like to have fun or to make money?"..

Invest to make money and gamble to have fun, simple as that.

I am seeing investment is a good solution to those addicted gamblers and if they cannot attain to keep on gambling then better shift into investing.

And there's a lot of investments that they can choose to like trading and bankroll casino's and it depends on how they can see it profitable.

But for me, it is better to invest first and when they already got profit then gamble just a little portion of it.
I wish they have that kind of thinking, the fact that they are addicted in gambling, they have not thought of it in the first place. So it's hard for them to shift interest.
