7902  Other / Meta / Re: How to protect an account from being hacked? on: April 01, 2016, 04:02:26 AM
I have seen several cases where someone has their bitcointalk.org account hacked and has to prove that they were the original owner.  What is the best thing I can do to protect my account so that if it is hacked, I can prove it is mine?

Things to do to protect your account from being hacked:-

[1] Stake a bitcoin address here

Why?=>Most of trades goes through with process of signed message from bitcoin address that was staked in 3 months or more.So if hacker tries to trade he will be asked for signed message from bitcoin address that you had staked in.

[2] Change password daily and maintain a thread in meta stating reason for password change as security measure

Changing passwords daily will also help and be sure to maintain a thread in meta stating reason for password changes as "Security Measure" with a signed message from bitcoin address staked in.

[3] Open account daily once and keep a check on accounts activities

[4] Always maintain a tight password and not the ones that hacker can easily guess

Along with this also maintain the [1] point.
7903  Economy / Reputation / Re: My list of ignored members on: April 01, 2016, 03:28:35 AM
OP's approach is autistic, pretty much an attention whore, he just puts people on his ignore list without making any checks, No surprise that i am on that list although I have left my campaign for some time, OP, do the forum a favour and take down this redundant list and stop begging people to use it.
I swear, people who make threads like these are just attention whores

I was gonna do a check so i scrolled to the middle of your list and picked two names, those users dont have signatures, as said, this thread/ your list is a waste of time, it would be a shame if anyone takes it seriously, take it down or revise your list

Well it his view .If he thinks that he wants to see posts of only some users let it be.Let him get some peace and some air.If we think that we are good on posts better ignore thisbthread and move on.Getting into his ignore lists doesn't means that others will be feeling the same.

@OP i would say to keep maintaing that list and keep a proper check on posts of your ignored lists users and remove them accordingly if you find some improvement in accuracy and its constructiveness.
7904  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User "Cloud Mining" is now deleting posts warning of his ponzi scam in thread. on: March 31, 2016, 06:42:24 PM
Nice work cryptodevil!.High five for you buddy  Smiley

p.s. I am guessing 90% cryptodevil supporters on this thread will be sig spammers.

So by doing this you just want to hide and don't want others to post what they think about it.Well if you have any problem with users posting in this thread, why not hit "Report" button against posts that users posted here and you think they are sig. spamming.I think mods can pretty well judge who is sig. spammer and who is not .

You are a hypocrite. Following is the proof of your hypocrisy...

You believe both of them are into fractional reserve mining (the term is not fractional mining), but you leave -ve on everyone who stand by or benefited by www.cloudmining.website, while throwing a blind eye to those promoting Bit-X, which clearly shows your intention. Though, your trick is not working anymore, because people have started to realize how corrupted DefaultTrust is...

Well cryptodevil is just sending out warnings because cloud mining is deleting its posts from their self-moderated which always will be seen as shady. If they are so sure of providing legit services and are sure that they are not scamming anyone why are they deleting posts of their users? they can answer that straightaway on threads or can handle via PM .

Well it doesn't relates with bit-x at all.Are they deleting posts or doing some shady activity?

Obviously a DT will red a guy whoever is standing besides a cloud mining site who doesn't have any proof and is deleting posts of users in their self-moderated thread.Cloud mining sites without mining proofs are ultimately PONZIS as they dont reveal up the proof of work that they claiim to be doing in front of their users. So by doing this you are supporting a PONZI which will always paint you red.

Take my advice ,if you or anyone is against cryptodevil against his warning why not posting out proofs about the site that they are legit instead of pointing finger against OP .
7905  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advise a profitable cloud mining service on: March 31, 2016, 06:35:40 PM
Well there are no good cloud mining sites and most of them that seems profitable comes out to be scam.I would better recommend you to buy hashrates from online hash power providers (mining rig rentals or nicehash) and direct it to pool you like to mine. Most of scammers use "cloud mining" so as to hide their shady intentions behind their cloud mining services.

7908  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Is www.cloudmining.website the most stable cloud mining ponzi ? on: March 28, 2016, 07:10:30 PM
We all know that most of the cloud mining operations are actually ponzi. But, ponzi or not www.cloudmining.website has paid consistently for more than a year. I am thinking about investing in it. But, I'd like to have public opinion before...

where are the proofs that they pay for 1 year+ ?
because the site is online for 1 year, dosent mean its all good, could be a trap.

Totally agree with you .Seriously where are mining proofs.Lets take best example of the same type of site which scammed.Scrypt.cc was also a cloud mining site which was there for almost 2years and now is slowly scamming away by saying that account is compromised or was hacked and many users hash rates were stolen.

7914  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best MONEYPOT Apps on: March 28, 2016, 03:10:57 PM
I think Dust Dice is the best in moneypot games .Its UI is very much good and playing is fun which makes it a perfect and my favourite in moneypot games. However talking about selling of dust dice to "HotSwap",well that was really not a good step but who knows, maybe he was in a situation tht he urgently needed money.

Other moneypot games are also nice.I specially like ideas of jackpotracer and dust lottery which is completely different from casinos that we have in nowadays.
7915  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 0.3 btc in a week on: March 28, 2016, 11:59:24 AM
Such high amounts can be earned only through the methods of trading and gambling. Trading requires high volume of bitcoin and gambling needs good luck.

I think Op was asking for fixed income that he can earn by the end of a week.Trading and gambling has a very high risk .As you said all that is needed is luck.Well BTW op also mentioned that he has no btc to gamble and i guess as trading requires high amount of btc trading is also not a way that Op would be trying it out.

7919  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BEGINERS: Some Useful Links To Buy bitcoin for the first time! on: March 27, 2016, 08:28:52 PM
Well list is good but whatever your provided needs verification which takes 1-2 days to verify up documents.Well every exchange takes up that as they had to work under KYC rules .I think this should also be listed here in the thread:-paxful.com.Well fees may be charged a little bit high but its fast.Take a look at it.
7920  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to (seriously) earn Bitcoins for dummies. on: March 27, 2016, 08:17:30 PM
Very good and nice thread .However i think it should have been posted in "Beginners and help" section of forum because that is the only section from which most of newbies start with.Anyway you can move it .

Seriously? Mining and Trading are your ideas for earning Bitcoin for dummies?

I also think that those are not best ideas to earn bitcoin for dummies as some of them maybe completely new about it so it is better to give them time to understand it or provide links in thread regarding some information how mining and trading stuff works. It maybe very risky for dummies if they take a step without knowing anything about it.

I also think that there are couple of points that OP missed like faucet and altcoin faucets or microearning-sites .Also part-time jobs if dummies are capable of doing specified work.
