It seems to me that merit is not at present a useful instrument for regulating this forum. Merit became a subject for sale. No one gives merit, just like that. I do get merits from merit sources "just like that". There are only a few cases when someone sent the merit of someone just like that.

I have repeatedly witnessed how people wrote good themes, great and having a good meaning, topics which conducted a good analysis of coins, but unfortunately no one has given for such topics merits. What is meritable and what is not is subjective. I have request one thing opinion, that such themes can be create only for order to you the credited for this subject previously purchased you merit. Need a new keyboard? Dont ask me for me. 1. Give merit to people who create threads and topics are becoming popular. If the topic has 10 pages of comments - then to add 5 merits.
So spam mega threads with useless pages full of bullshit are going to be merited and not small worthwhile discussions? 2. If a member has more than 100 activity on the forum is to enroll him 10 merits. More than 200 activity, give 100 merits.
Free merits = faster ranking up for shitposters.  Considering its coming from the bottomfeeder shitposters mouth.  I don't see any other options at the moment. Open your eyes. Or buy merit. Personally, I am against such practices. It seems to me that the system of merit, unfortunately made this forum for many people commercial enterprise. Such cases are tagged by DT. It is better not to invest in any coins until you understand how the market works. Yes, you will never learn all the things in details, but you should get some knowledge first.
If they have a good idea that the coin is having a decent module and a whitepaper which is not fake along with a team which is worth working on an idea then they can try their hand at trading. Who know it may end up as the next Ethereum. Backing away will not work in crypto - one needs to start taking risks and if you cant handle risks then you are dead in trading. I wonder if it would not be a good idea if everyone, depending on their rank, would receive several merits per month to give away. Receiving merits like that would mean those people wouuld rank up as well if we follow the same mechanics that sMerit for non-merit source members was given on creation. This would certainly increase the amount of merit distributed and everyone would feel fairer. It will technically make the system null and void because then merit awarding wold have lesser role. For sure it would be good for new users who can't reward posts they like because they don't have merits. The newbies are supposed to learn more and not act immediately. I think that these are lost merits and only wasted time because someone will have to dig up these posts again one time and evaluate them to award them with merits. Which could be already done if a newbie has few merits to give each month. Most people here dont think such. Except shitposter "Great project Sir" gang. |

In my opinion a good gambler is one who knows his limits and strengths. I have seen players playing for low profit games just because they are more experienced with it. And that limit thing is important to ensure that you do not end in debt because of this habit.
Gambling is not a game where you can define a limit or a strength. It happens in games like football and tennis and not rolling dice obviously. If someone is more experienced in some game they will tend to play that game more and more and even better for the casino if thats some EV- game : the person will continue to lose and lose which is the ultimate business making strategy of the casino. In my opinion, the effectiveness of day-to-day transactions depends a great deal on analytical skills, judgment, and experience. Sometimes, luck is just a part, it is always present in any type of business. . But it does not guarantee success and efficiency for day trading.
Some crypto are always increasing or decreasing. Though I dont have that much experience in day trading I think the basis is that day traders would buy different types of altcoins and look to sell them as soon as possible on the smallest pump. If they have any insider news then they will take advantage of that but the timing is crucial. Being one minute late there can cost you a lifetime which is why its risky. More of luck-dependent. Greater analytical skills would be needed in long term trading. The ability to analyze the market and understand the risk in long term. |

Merit Sources - young bitcoiners need not worry about them wasting their merits because they will get refilled every month. 2. sMerit Holding Members (like me) - They are reluctant to merit posts like these - simply because "young bitcoiners" cant do anything to add to discussions but shitpost all the way. Green with envy? Merit is given to helpful posts. There are many other examples of it. You are nobody to question that. In some perspective, I do find the people who all meriting it like they all want their name to be displayed along with some famous topics. Wouldn't you if you were also in the same place? If it is not good, is there any way to stop this ? Irrelevant. Why not put some upper cap for merits for each and every post ? I mean one post may have only some certain amount of merits.

Gambling house always win is because they have the edge comparing to the player and you need to have ample capital for whatever strategy you have to let you have the advantage over the house. I see various says that merits are only for the people with good english. I do not think this forum grammer session. But after some people comes with the grammer advice and saying they cannot survive without good english here. Being good in English does not always mean that the post is going to be merited. Again writing a post in bad English may make the merit sources look away in search of other posts to merit. Merit was never intended to be the English-lesson pressure on members. We have the local boards and local merit sources for that. I have worked in some International customer care center but people Australia, US and UK not having proper sense of english as well since they are native speaker but newbie and people from various countries giving some decent english but why they cannot survive mate. You can clearly see that in the market in the past few days are very active moves. Yeah, we all know that bitcoin is a decentralized technology coin and nobody could stop on the technology.
If a country has no law in cryptos also gambling has not prohibited or casino who used bitcoin for gambling.
Just like here our country we have freely used bitcoin here so we are not prohibited to do gambling.
The legality of bitcoin and gambling should be considered separately. While in some countries bitcoin transactions are illegal already, gambling is illegal in many countries. So considering the overlap between the two we can see that some countries will fall in the section where both bitcoin and gambling is legal. Again bitcoin gives pseudo-anonymity and thus gamblers feel safer betting with crypto than fiat. Safer in the sense that they are less likely to be caught be others. |
