7921  Other / Meta / Re: MERIT on: April 24, 2018, 11:18:49 AM
It seems to me that merit is not at present a useful instrument for regulating this forum. Merit became a subject for sale. No one gives merit, just like that.
I do get merits from merit sources "just like that".

Quote
There are only a few cases when someone sent the merit of someone just like that.
Many not few.

Quote
I have repeatedly witnessed how people wrote good themes, great and having a good meaning, topics which conducted a good analysis of coins, but unfortunately no one has given for such topics merits.
What is meritable and what is not is subjective.

Quote
I have request one thing opinion, that such themes can be create only for order to you the credited for this subject previously purchased you merit.
Need a new keyboard? Dont ask me for me.

Quote
1. Give merit to people who create threads and topics are becoming popular. If the topic has 10 pages of comments - then to add 5 merits.
So spam mega threads with useless pages full of bullshit are going to be merited and not small worthwhile discussions?

Quote
2. If a member has more than 100 activity on the forum is to enroll him 10 merits. More than 200 activity, give 100 merits.
Free merits = faster ranking up for shitposters. Roll Eyes Considering its coming from the bottomfeeder shitposters mouth. Grin Grin

Quote
I don't see any other options at the moment.
Open your eyes.

Quote
Or buy merit. Personally, I am against such practices. It seems to me that the system of merit, unfortunately made this forum for many people commercial enterprise.
Such cases are tagged by DT.

Quote
We need new ideas to solve this problem, because I repeat that there are no other ways to increase their rank, in addition to buying merit at the moment.
The mission of merit is thus accomplished.
7922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you play online casino? if Yes... on: April 24, 2018, 11:11:00 AM
Ok, So more games is you thing, and thats also one of the advantages at the new crypto casinos, they have all classic NETENT etc Slots + the games that are made only for crypto casinos

More games in a casino is just another way of saying more ways to lose money with more fancier names to make you feel good. Grin

Yeah, I do. Since, I'm now an occassional gambler, I do set a day in a month in which I'll visit a land-based casino. Unfortunately due to my busy schedule, I sometimes forget about it then realizes at the later part. So given the situation I tend to play online even at work just to relieve my stress and to create a diversion so that I could step away from work.

Wow so visiting a land-based casino for you is like going to an amusement park? I am worried that you might be on the verge of losing your work if you continue to play online like this. Distractions are not good in any work and then your boss will come up to you with the "You're fired" statement.

Still you should control your habits of gambling and not let it take over you.
7923  Economy / Reputation / Re: I never expected this on: April 23, 2018, 12:33:01 PM
Hi, I'm not a liar . And never led a fraudulent activity .About you I heard only good reviews , and the fact that you are faithful cryptologist , so please fix this error

The "error" is deep-seated inside your brain. Only you can fix it. The "Error" is you bought this account - did you not? Tell us the truth if you are a good person : where did you get this account from? You bought it or not?

If you claim to be the real owner this account despite the long posting gap then please sign a message from an old address that you would control from this account. Then post it here and people will verify it for you.

Lets see what you have to say.
7924  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what advice? on: April 23, 2018, 12:27:54 PM
It is better not to invest in any coins until you understand how the market works. Yes, you will never learn all the things in details, but you should get some knowledge first.

If they have a good idea that the coin is having a decent module and a whitepaper which is not fake along with a team which is worth working on an idea then they can try their hand at trading. Who know it may end up as the next Ethereum. Backing away will not work in crypto - one needs to start taking risks and if you cant handle risks then you are dead in trading.

Yes it is good question Patience is the key of success and it is also depend on the time to exit in the market but when if you have the best time to holding and also best time to sell it with the good price and earn good profit,

Shut up shitposters.
7925  Other / Meta / Re: Merit sources should be increase in no. on: April 23, 2018, 12:23:53 PM
I wonder if it would not be a good idea if everyone, depending on their rank, would receive several merits per month to give away.
Receiving merits like that would mean those people wouuld rank up as well if we follow the same mechanics that sMerit for non-merit source members was given on creation.

Quote
This would certainly increase the amount of merit distributed and everyone would feel fairer.
It will technically make the system null and void because then merit awarding wold have lesser role.

Quote
For sure it would be good for new users who can't reward posts they like because they don't have merits.
The newbies are supposed to learn more and not act immediately.

Quote
I think that these are lost merits and only wasted time because someone will have to dig up these posts again one time and evaluate them to award them with merits. Which could be already done if a newbie has few merits to give each month.
Most people here dont think such. Except shitposter "Great project Sir" gang.
7926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Criteria of a good gambler on: April 23, 2018, 12:16:12 PM
In my opinion a good gambler is one who knows his limits and strengths. I have seen  players playing for low profit games just because they are more experienced with it. And that limit thing is important to ensure that you do not end in debt because of this habit.

Gambling is not a game where you can define a limit or a strength. It happens in games like football and tennis and not rolling dice obviously. If someone is more experienced in some game they will tend to play that game more and more and even better for the casino if thats some EV- game : the person will continue to lose and lose which is the ultimate business making strategy of the casino.

Nobody ensures about being in debt. Most of them enter into the debt phase very soon after they are on a losing streak.
7927  Other / Meta / Re: Account hacked Theymos and Cyrus please help me recover my account on: April 22, 2018, 09:39:43 AM
Have you send a PM to Cyrus? or to theymos about this and follow the given template? See this link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0

I've seen that it was around January when it was compromised and his activity was on April 2 (quite recent though), just send a PM to both of them. Well, there could still be a little chance to regain your account but yeah they might have a chance to see it here. Nonetheless, it's better to move on and/or make this account your main one.

Yeah i already sent him a pm about it and yes i already knew that he tried to access my account on april 2 but he can't since it is locked (forum's feature to prevent the hacker to use my account).

P.S. please don't say what i already said in the post? Thanks for the help

Well good thing that TheWinnerBro aka ProGamerJojo serial scumbag collateral scammer cant use that account. That guy tried to steal your account and then use it as well. Obviously he was looking forward to join some signature campaigns are get paid - typical Indian scumbags.

@lightpulsar07 hope you get back you account. Recovery of account are taking a lot of time these days so you might have to wait (quite long).
7928  Economy / Reputation / Re: I never expected this on: April 22, 2018, 09:28:34 AM
Get off your high horse mate, yes the lad made a blunderbust of himself but everyone makes a mistake or two and I mean EVERYONE. And everyone is redeemable.

Did you check the reason why the OP got negative trust? Do you even care to read before you post or simply prefer to shitpost your way through so that you get paid for your signature? Suggest you to check the reference left on the OP's trust page by The Pharmacist before daring to comment again.

No. In the internet nobody is redeemable. Once a criminal Always a criminal. No mercy for the sinners.
7929  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade is more a lucky thing or skill on: April 22, 2018, 09:24:23 AM
In my opinion, the effectiveness of day-to-day transactions depends a great deal on analytical skills, judgment, and experience. Sometimes, luck is just a part, it is always present in any type of business. . But it does not guarantee success and efficiency for day trading.

Some crypto are always increasing or decreasing. Though I dont have that much experience in day trading I think the basis is that day traders would buy different types of altcoins and look to sell them as soon as possible on the smallest pump. If they have any insider news then they will take advantage of that but the timing is crucial. Being one minute late there can cost you a lifetime which is why its risky. More of luck-dependent.

Greater analytical skills would be needed in long term trading. The ability to analyze the market and understand the risk in long term.
7930  Other / Meta / Re: What a heroic act should i do to get 100 merits on: April 22, 2018, 09:18:22 AM
Hello people. How you like merit system on btt? I think it's quite effective to prevent a lot of spam accounts of bounty hunters, but because it's new i think it's need some fixes and rebalance. Especially what should do the regullar member to get amazingly 100 merits!? What's your opinion about that?

You people are going to make me throw up. Everyday since merit was started we have a new thread asking about "how to get merit" in an new way in a new fashion but basically the same thing over and over again - nonstop.

Simply forget that "Merit" named "something" ever happened to this forum and continue shitposting like you used to do - then one day you will understand the real reason why you came here and only then will you understand what merit is.
7931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The consequences of gambling on: April 22, 2018, 09:04:57 AM
the consequences of playing gambling are huge and must accept what will happen to yourself, because gambling is a very big risk and can be legal too, because gambling is prohibited by the state and religion as well. then it is better to be avoided than to have to deal with the same law

Look mate, let me get this straight and simple for you. Everyone who has gambled knows the risk and the bad effects of gambling. But do they care? Do the smokers care for their lung cancer? They dont - they will continue with their vices because its what gives them pleasure. When their minds before too full of these vices they cant stop doing them.

They wont listen to religion, laws or their family.
7932  Economy / Reputation / Re: I never expected this on: April 21, 2018, 10:52:19 AM
starting from wanting to try a way but actually very wrong and fatal, is there any way to release Red trust from my account, if there is no way to release it then I will accept it  Undecided

So before you started on the bounty campaign did you not read the rules? Read that specific rule that every user reads but due to optical illusion of some sort or blind spot, misses out "multiple accounts not allowed"?

Using multiple accounts you are cheating the company that hired you for bounty and other members who are participating in the bounty - like a thief who only cares about their own good.

No amount of whining will ever get you "redeemed" so to speak. Once a criminal - always a criminal. Live with that.

Dont even bother to create an alt account. Just go away from this forum and before doing so care to lock this thread please?
7933  Other / Meta / Re: Upper cap for posts to prevent people wasting their merits in famous topics ? on: April 21, 2018, 10:44:08 AM
Do you feel is it right to keep on meriting on our God Mr. Satoshi Nakamotto's OLD posts ? But I feel, people are wasting their merits by not considering young bitcoiner's QUALITY posts.
Yound bitcoiner's make "quality" posts? Did the world just turn upside down??

The restriction on newbies is to learn about crypto and comprehend properly before they start commenting and making posts about the same. Now the possible sources of waste can be two, namely:
1. Merit Sources - young bitcoiners need not worry about them wasting their merits because they will get refilled every month.
2. sMerit Holding Members (like me) - They are reluctant to merit posts like these - simply because "young bitcoiners" cant do anything to add to discussions but shitpost all the way.

Quote
One good example here must be (other than Satohis's post), Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns. People love to merit it.
Green with envy? Roll Eyes Merit is given to helpful posts. There are many other examples of it. You are nobody to question that.

Quote
In some perspective, I do find the people who all meriting it like they all want their name to be displayed along with some famous topics.
Wouldn't you if you were also in the same place?
Quote
If it is not good, is there any way to stop this ?
Irrelevant.
Quote
Why not put some upper cap for merits for each and every post ? I mean one post may have only some certain amount of merits.
Or disabling the merit button for a post after some time period (after few weeks) will be a solution here ?
Not likely to happen.
7934  Other / Meta / Re: Merit for newbie. on: April 21, 2018, 10:36:03 AM
Disagree with you, ilcapitano. You are a shitposter as well AFAIC.

Quote
If members don't qualified enought to compose high-quality threads (at least in terms of written-English), they will never earn merits.
You did not read the post that I made. Your English is broken vomitted 3rd world piece of scummy half-pooped from rectum shit. Dont expect to get any merits by licking my ass like this. I wont budge.

Quote
Next step after skilled enough to make high-qualitied written-English threads, they should move their attentions to contents (in order to make real constructives ones).
What exactly do you mean by "skilled"? You need to be skilled to make posts? I think this forum is the only one in the universe which needs "skills" to post according to shitposters like you. On other forums its always a friendly chitchat going on. And the only ones to blame is the shitposters.

Quote
Only (or mostly) constructive, helpful, high-qualitied threads can get merits.
Merits sources have become resistant to these methods of pseudo-merit begging. Just stop it.

On another note I think this user is an alt of another person whom I have defamed a posts back. Trying to lick my ass, huh piece of shit.
7935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambler's way on: April 21, 2018, 10:20:27 AM
Beating the house with a good strategy is definitely possible at least in my opinion. Gambling house always win is because they have the edge comparing to the player and you need to have ample capital for whatever strategy you have to let you have the advantage over the house.

You need to learn how to write better shitposts than these dude. You denied the statement of the first line in the second line. Are you out of your mind?

You can never beat the house in gambling. Thats how the casinos make money. They lure people to come and play making them hope for big wins but in the reality its a trap for people to play and lose their money because the house always wins - mathematically.
7936  Other / Meta / Re: Signature campaigns need more merit? on: April 21, 2018, 10:17:53 AM
I see various says that merits are only for the people with good english. I do not think this forum grammer session. But after some people comes with the grammer advice and saying they cannot survive without good english here.
Being good in English does not always mean that the post is going to be merited. Again writing a post in bad English may make the merit sources look away in search of other posts to merit. Merit was never intended to be the English-lesson pressure on members. We have the local boards and local merit sources for that.

Quote
I have worked in some International customer care center but people Australia, US and UK not having proper sense of english as well since they are native speaker but newbie and people from various countries giving some decent english but why they cannot survive mate.
It is not a matter of survival here. You can "survive" here with bad English and zero merits.

Quote
If you are good at the blockchain and domain knowledge you can assist with your post. Nothing else needed. Merits has been shared to you if any other like your post nothing else.
Like is not equal to Merit. This is not faceache, twatter or instahater (which are the modern online cancer)
7937  Other / Meta / Re: Signature campaigns need more merit? on: April 20, 2018, 11:08:53 AM
Not all signature campaign  need merit ,  some bounty accept newbie and jr member

Yeah and you are a confirmed classical shitposter who does not care about the level of shiposts that occur in this forum and is only interested in ranking up their account.

Quote
.. but if you want more stakes you should active in forum or work hard for the merit ..
How do you work hard for merits? I have heard people work hard for money work hard for a job but hard for a merit? Does it include pulling the legs of some "specific people" or being an asslicker? - please enlighten me. (On the contrary no need to because I am sure you will never reply to this thread)
7938  Economy / Reputation / Re: This just too much!!! Tried to defend myself and The Pharmacist painted me red! on: April 20, 2018, 11:04:37 AM

I logged today to check what's new on BTT to find that I have even more negative trust.

I see that The Pharmacist tagged me for: "This user is childish and dishonest, as evidenced by his written thoughts on merit and his posts whining about negative feedback left by hilarious. Not to be trusted on bitcointalk". Which is totally not true and fabricated.
The fact that you are dragging this and not thinking logically is a show of your childish behavior. So, no, The Pharmacist is correct here.

Quote
Funny since I'm a very trustworthy person and I thought that negative trust is for scammers and thieves.
Not being a thief does not mean that you are "trustworthy". Roll Eyes

Quote
Only one post, one mistake and my senior member account, I've worked for so long and hard, now is totally worthless and pointless to continue. I've never stolen, cheated or did something bad in my entire life but here I am untrusted, childish, dishonest, shitposter and should be banned.
If you are a cry-baby who cant control their tears on getting negged on a forum, you need a "human" brain implanted in your empty cranial cavity from the nearest hospital.

Quote
Why? Because I dare to defend myself?

One post I was not concentrating on and a silly mistake with avatar despite I have added a merit rule to my signature and never traded or got one merit in exchange from somebody. Who never makes mistakes?
Because you are nagging people thinking of your benefits only. Merit trading is not allowed.

Quote
The Pharmacist act like all I do is spamming, when I actually make good quality posts and I got even few merits lately despite my red trust. Few high-rank members evaluated my posts and they told me that I am writing a good quality content and advised me to open more topics to get merits faster. Nobody told me that I am a spammer or shitposter but now I am tagged for shitposting. Not true, just not true.
Spamming has nothing to do with trading merits.

Snipping the rest of the post because its irrelevant. Go have a breath of fresh air from outside which you have been missing for "5 years" while on this forum. It will help you clear your mind.
7939  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When will the bull market start? on: April 20, 2018, 10:55:34 AM
You can clearly see that in the market in the past few days are very active moves. The market is showing signs of strong recovery, the price of bitcoin is constantly increasing this has made the market more exciting, many altcoin are pumping strong. At this time I believe you have been able to turn around and join in the investment market.

Lets see how long the bull run goes. Last time was not long and it dumped prematurely. Hoping bitcoin to cross 15k by the end of this month if the bull run is here to stay. Otherwise a safe bet would be consider 10k USD as the mark where dumping starts. I am curious to know what news pumped the market again. Because when negative FUD appears it appears in bulk and people think of every bad thing happening.

Positive FUD is rare and comes in small chunks. Cheesy
7940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are There Any Regulations for Bitcoin Casinos? on: April 20, 2018, 10:49:58 AM
That's will happens if bitcoin was strictly prohibited in the country it depends upon on the situation in bitcoin into a country.
Yeah, we all know that bitcoin is a decentralized technology coin and nobody could stop on the technology.
If a country has no law in cryptos also gambling has not prohibited or casino who used bitcoin for gambling.
Just like here our country we have freely used bitcoin here so we are not prohibited to do gambling.

The legality of bitcoin and gambling should be considered separately. While in some countries bitcoin transactions are illegal already, gambling is illegal in many countries. So considering the overlap between the two we can see that some countries will fall in the section where both bitcoin and gambling is legal.

Again bitcoin gives pseudo-anonymity and thus gamblers feel safer betting with crypto than fiat. Safer in the sense that they are less likely to be caught be others.
