A news, very hot news regarding Mikey Williams

https://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/mikey-williams-finally-officially-joins-tnt-tropang-giga-signs-two-year-deal-a793-20210426?ref=home_featured_2

Quote
The 6-foot-2 Williams will finally come on board for the franchise after being signed to a two-year max contract.

Team manager Gabby Cui confirmed the deal on Monday.

The signing puts an end to the long standoff between the Tropang Giga and the highly-touted rookie picked No. 4 overall in the last PBA draft.

Under the deal, Williams, 28, will be receiving a total of P5.4 million in the next two years, including a monthly salary of P250,000 in his sophomore season.

Good that they ended up getting him because he can be a huge part of the team now that Ray Parks isn't playing. He might not get the 300,000 monthly salary that he wants, he got a max contract and a higher salary at his 2nd year and not only that, he also got a telecommunication franchise.

Any takeaway from you who are waiting for this news?? Smiley
Good for him though, if he declines this contract, there's probably no other team that would take him in due to that attitude. At least he got into a good team and with that salary, I think he can settle with that amount.
He should be doing good with some of performance bonuses during his stay.

Thank you all for the responses. Anyone know what’s claim password means. I have a small note and says claim password and a real password.
Where that message came from? did you chat on the chat box and someone message you with that? as for the 2FA/Google Authentication. It also has the backup so if you haven't recorded and written the backup.
It's close to impossible to recover it, you should've done that before when you're about to add 2FA on your yobit account.
7943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Market Cap: Will it Bounce Back or Become More Bearish? on: April 26, 2021, 08:32:23 AM
That's not actually a bearish thing for crypto if it just corrected for a week or two. We're even far from being bearish because bitcoin and the market altogether have to correct. What I'm waiting for is that it should be able to get back to $57,000 for it to retrieve back to $60,000 very soon.
But if it will take time, just as it stayed on $47,000 and $49,000. We should expect that it will take time before it goes back to $60,000.

7944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: April is the real alt season on: April 25, 2021, 11:21:25 PM
Not really or not sure, because I saw quite a decline in recent days, even at the beginning when the market was moving down the assets of the people holding major coins lost more than 30%,
April is ending and instead of we see the alt season, we see the season for the red times. It's probably the season that everyone should accumulate and buy more altcoins that they prefer.

so the altseason still doesn't show up if you look at the current market conditions.
What if it already did? because most of the alts have already pumped and this is a correction due to it.
7945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: April 25, 2021, 10:48:40 PM
10 times a year is almost once a month. And as he said it was this year, more than twice a month then. I think it's a pretty responsible approach for a healthy gambling routine.
That's a good approach if someone gambles with that time, he sure knows how to manage his time and his time allocated in gambling.

Most people have only enough money to play a little bit without compromising money they can't afford to lose, so better that they limit their gambling sessions and budget. This way it's possible to have some fun, while not spending too much. The perfect combination!
Sometimes it's the opponent, there are gamblers that are willing to take risk and gamble with the amount more than they afford to lose and at the end, they regret after realization.
7946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: April 25, 2021, 10:17:25 PM
It lies on the parents, who should raise the children in the right direction by pointing out to these younger generations the many risks attach to gambling and pointing to them the right age and the right thinking to gamble, you cannot stop them from gambling they will eventually gamble later or sooner in their life, but once they are disciplined and they know the risk, they will be ok.
The generation today is more of the risk-taker but don't look at how much risk that they should bear. The parents have an important role to guide their children and if a teenager or a kid gets into gambling at a young age.
There's only one idea that we will be having in our minds and that is because their parents didn't guide them well.
7947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB will remain valuable for a long time on: April 25, 2021, 09:52:03 PM
even the rumors say that bnb will beat ETH, i don't know but due to very high fee issues some eth users switch to bsc because it is cheaper.
And I also believe that the price of BNB will survive and even tend to rise in the long term.
You have probably missed seeing the fees right now. Yes, it was an issue before about Ethereum because of the high fees but this time, it's no longer the same
Check the gas fees and see that it had become cheaper this time.
Yes the fees for the Ethereum network transactions are though coming lower but still not comparable with the BSC transactions fees which is way less. I made some Ethereum transaction earlier today that cost me about $5 though I believe that was probably because it was weekend and I will continue to look at this within the week and another thing is, if not for the high Fees, most of those projects wouldn't have moved to Binance smart chain so the network fees have really affected Ethereum and I know BNB will probably continue to provide good services too cos they wouldn't want to be in Ethereums position.
That's the reason why many of the projects have moved to BSC because of the higher fees that Ethereum is asking for. The projects can't wait until it's fixed.
While the new projects, they're wise up to choose BSC for them to keep making their project pay a lesser fee than to adopt the high fee that Ethereum is experiencing, at least for now, ETH's fee had drop a bit.
7948  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there such thing as a “safe strategy”? on: April 25, 2021, 07:27:36 PM
Why would I buy a coin that I don't like and put myself into leverage if I'm not really good at it. I don't intend to be rich with that strategy and if I'll be wanting it, I'll go with the slow process but with more assurance throughout the strategy that I've come up with.
If it's just about a safe strategy, holding is the best option.

With this bull season some people think that leveraged trading can make them rich quickly. Most of them just dive into it without knowing the proper strategies to do it so they just lose in the end when correction happens. This is the reason why some people got liquidated when flash crash happened few days ago. They didn't set their stop-losses and risk more than 10% of their capital. Leveraged trading is not a quick-rich scheme so if you are a newbie I suggest only trade on spot first. Learn the fundamentals of trading, apply it on spot and once you get the proper strategy then you can start applying it on leverage trading.

Holding can't be considered a strategy for me. If you are only holding then you are not a trader but instead, you are an investor.
It's a misunderstanding if that's what they think about this bull run. It looks like it's pumping everything but looks can be deceiving if that's the strategy that they're looking at.
Those investors that are diving without doing research are the ones that are crying at the end after learning that they've wrongly invested to a coin that they've rode through hype.
7949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best Sport to bet on ? on: April 25, 2021, 06:55:42 PM
If a poll is made then of course I am sure that soccer will be the most votes for betting on sportsbooks, football is a very popular sport to play even without the involvement of gambling. Even small children in a village will be more familiar with this sport to play together, but for other sports I think everyone will at least like it in the end but it will at least take more time for them to understand.
I know that football is popular but not for our country although there are some enthusiasts and fans yet it's nothing compared to the fandom of basketball and boxing specifically in our country.
There is no doubt that football is the most popular sport in the world and that's why it's in most sports bookies.
When it comes to world ranking then theres no doubt.

1. Football
2. Tennis
3. American Football
4. Horse Racing
5. Basketball

Source: https://lastwordonsports.com/2020/06/15/most-popular-sports-betting/
Yes, I've seen that list and that made me believed that it's the most popular sport worldwide but too sad that it's not in our country.

^ Definitely right, because any sports to bet on are differ on which country you are.
In our country, football is not that popular sports and basketball and valley ball here are very popular to bet on here. So I think game enthusiasts have their own decision in picking sports to depend on where they are. Nevertheless, probably for now, people prefer to watch online sports games than the actual ones, because still pandemic in our country was not lifted yet.
The other sports are also emerging and we're getting the idea of supporting other sports too. That's why this era is also being open to different sports in our country.

Ethereum fees are starting to open up gaps for us, and that's good news. What are you waiting for? that's when we took advantage of long waits for GAS fees that made us almost give up on what Ethereum was doing with GAS costs. so I think Ethereum has started listening to its holders' complaints. or it may have something to do with Ethereum 2.0.
It's just that the network has been open wide again. This happens even for bitcoin when the network is no longer clogged, the fees are starting to drop.
Now the next thing after this, BSC or ETH, it's now depending to what they're aiming for next. And what I hope for is that the fees for bitcoin will also lessen soon.
7951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fees are so high right now. What's next? on: April 25, 2021, 05:54:17 PM
The fees are really intriguing at this bull run. This also could be the reason why the price of bitcoin has dropped a lot because many transactions have been stuck even with high fees.
But just as the same after the bull run of 2017, the fees have dropped a lot. I think we're going to see cheap fees again if we enter the bear market.
7952  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet, Stake or Sportsbet - Which is best? on: April 25, 2021, 05:38:42 PM
Many of us think about KYC, but if you use gambling to have fun, you do not have to think or verify your account because you do not intend to make money from gambling.
Thinking about it is important because how will you enjoy and have fun if by the time you've decided to withdraw, they're going to ask you for KYC and you don't intend to withdraw and just put a budget for losing? enjoying and gambling has been hackneyed. Because there really are gamblers who make money from it.
First, they only want to enjoy their time in gambling. Second, if they win big money, and they see the KYC is needed to withdraw that money, I guess they will try to verify themselves because that is big money. People's eyes will open so wide when they see big money, and they willing to do KYC while the first time, they do not want to do KYC. You can try by yourself Grin

Yes, I am sure some gamblers make money from that gambling games.
I did try it myself before when I've got asked to do so to withdraw it. Just as enjoying it for fun which has been always been said but when it comes to being asked to comply, you've got no choice but to follow it if you want to take your money with you.

7954  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet, Stake or Sportsbet - Which is best? on: April 24, 2021, 10:37:30 PM
I do not bet on the sports betting site, so I think it will depend on each person to try to use Cloudbet, Stake or Sportbet. Maybe if they can try one by one of that sports betting, they will know the differences as I do not know too much about that. But if that is about playing a regular gambling game such as dice, Plinko, blackjack, mines, crash, wheel, baccarat and else, you can try with Stake.
It's all about sports betting though.

Many of us think about KYC, but if you use gambling to have fun, you do not have to think or verify your account because you do not intend to make money from gambling.

7955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run is over? on: April 24, 2021, 09:33:23 PM
Today the market crashes again  BTC drop down to 48k and back to 50k  im not sure bull run is over and change to bear or not.

but we need to careful
Not yet over. Just after that very huge dip, there will be a lot of people that would think that the bull run is over. Those are less experienced people in cryptocurrencies.
After all of those years that we've seen, they only look to the market as an increasing form of market but don't realize that whether it falls down to $30k, the price is still high and can be said that it's still on the bull run.
I also think the bull run is not over yet. This is quite normal for the market to speed up a little slowly and there are so many corrections in every coin. But this is our chance to invest more and gain profit in the future.
Yes, corrections are happening many times even if we're in the bull run. The bull is still there and confirming that it's gone for real indicates that the market has crashed a lot and would potentially be down more than 50% of the ATH that it just did.
But so far if that's going to be the basis, we're not yet going to see the bearish season that many don't like to see.
7956  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin do the same scenario in 2018 ? on: April 24, 2021, 08:54:44 PM
but should we sell now in this panic ! or should we hold  Undecided
i am a little bit confused

Don't be confused. What's your plan for this market? just get out and never come back or hold for the long term? I chose to hold. There really is a chance that it will be the same as 2018 but this time, we'll be having a higher price if ever bitcoin crashes again.
That's much better than 2018 so if you're worrying about the crash, prepare your cash and buy when it happens.
7957  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there such thing as a “safe strategy”? on: April 24, 2021, 08:21:43 PM
safe strategy you can apply classic strategies that exist today. choose a low-risk coin such as bitcoin buy at the lowest price and hold it until the price has increased, then sell at the high price. it is the most effective strategy today and the safest ever
Simple and very effective strategy but many don't want to listen and follow that strategy because they think that it's a wrong strategy. It's very common to see people buying bitcoin and holding it until the price goes up.
Like its price today that it's down below $50k, this is a good price for somebody to buy bitcoin and wait until its price goes above the buying price and you decide to sell or keep holding.
That strategy doesn't make you rich beyond your wildest dreams, however 150x leveraging on buy for BTT coin will make you super rich!!! Or maybe it will make you lose all your money. I have seen the news of a guy who sold his house and put it on bitcoin at 100x leverage recently, dude killed himself, that is the market we are in right now, people are not after healthy and safe investment strategies, they are after finding that ONE thing where they do it and for the rest of their lives they are so rich that they could live without ever caring about money.

That is not possible unfortunately, sure some people may get lucky and do it but most people can't do it, and that is why most people end up losing more money than they could ever afford. It is not about not knowing what's safe, it is about not wanting to be safe and wanting to take huge risks and end up poor.

It couldn't have been better said, when someone puts their investment in Bitcoin all they have to do is follow the price, and have the peace of mind and patience so as not to panic, because when Bitcoin has very strong corrections or falls, the news is very strong, almost that they say that it will reach zero (0), in these cases we must remember that bitcoin, unlike the Stock Market, usually takes about 3 years to be in trend, of course it is not a metric to follow but if consider, since in the first cycle of Bitcoin the accumulation stage lasted around 2014 to 2017 ...

There is still a great opportunity to enter the market and win by buying, because according to PlanB, this is not the end of the bullish trend, there is still a long way to go and the goal is to reach $ 288k. A nice read here: https://cryptopotato.com/this-was-not-the-top-of-bitcoins-2021-bull-run-according-to-planb/
True, when bitcoin falls, news is coming with negative articles and headlines which creates fear and panic mostly for the newbies. They just go with the flow and anyone who reads that news will be in that situation to think that he should go in a panic.
I hope that $288k is really going to be the peak for this bull run.
7960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Dogecoin still worth to invest? on: April 24, 2021, 02:45:30 PM
Dogecoin has dropped after a huge breakout. Many hk people think that the bull market of Dogecoin is over. But some people think that Dogecoin still has a chance to go up. However, there’re very few information about Dogecoin in most investing forum in hk. It’s because hk people are more keen on investing stocks and bonds. Most people in this forum are professional in investing crypto.
Hk means Hongkong?

Could you tell me whether Dogecoin still worth to invest? Or the bull market of Dogecoin is over?
To give you an idea, Dogecoin holders and investors will tell you it's a yes and still worth to invest and this bull run is not yet over. On the other hand, think of the vice versa.
