I found one which was dated back in 2019. Depending on the circumstances of theymos' mood, a name change request could be granted provided you have a good reason. If your reason for wanting a name change is valid, you don't need to be a VIP or Donator to see it become a reality. I remember a case I think from 2019 or 2020. A guy registered an account and for his username he put an email address that contained his real name. That constitutes a valid reason a name change could be granted because you don't want your identity leaked or linked to a forum account. Especially for something as sensitive as crypto.

I'm not agree with it creating accounts, could led us to be red tagged. You are not going to get negative trust for having multiple accounts. There is no rule against it. DT users tag those who misuse their accounts and perform actions they shouldn't. That includes enrolling those accounts in the same signature campaign, meriting your alts from your main account or vice versa, giving yourself fake positive trust, etc. Having fake conversations and talking to yourself should also be a reason people get a negative tag, but I don't think that is the case. There have been cases where you can observe the same person making a post or asking a question and his alt answers. They do it to phish for merits or increase their post count.

Fix: The link to that post can be shown somewhere on the registration page. theymos has already created a link from the page that instructs users to pay the evil fee to the Bitcointalk thread where users can be whitelisted for free in case they were caught up in the mess and have evil on their IP without having done anything wrong. I think that's a good improvement. Let's just hope they understand what they read and know what is being asked of them.

<Snip> All the way on the top, there is a segment called "Special Mentions". It's made up of the best guides and tutorials that I came across on Bitcointalk. Of course, that's my personal opinion and maybe not everyone agrees. I could maybe extend it further, but I don't think I should overdo it.

While multisig was not a thing, a clever enough person could come up with a multi-sig like method at any point. Breaking a bitcoin key into two halves was always possible -- although not quite the same would work. How would it work and who would be the person that breaks the key into two halves, unless you are talking about some software that could do it? If I break the private key into two and give you one half and keep the other for myself, how can you be sure I didn't keep your part as well. Introducing a third person to do if for us can bring additional problems. Now we have another subject who knows the key or could give me or you absolute control if he wanted to.

All this makes me think that the Ukrainian government is also thinking of introducing its own state-regulated centralized coin. Although it's not mentioned in the article, the numbers in the last paragraph seem a bit too high. Assuming that almost 50% of all Ukrainians will use some sort of digital currency in the next 3 years seems to high unless a big chunk of it will include a digitalized government coin.

Will roobet follow in the footsteps of Stake.com or will Wolfbet add a sportsbook? I am not sure what you meant to ask with this question. Maybe you just typed the name of the wrong platform and wanted to say Roobet and not Wolfbet. Wolfbet added a sportsbook before the start of the EURO 2020 championship. I don't know. I saw great potential in Roobet, but the idea of mandatory KYC has turned me off completely. But a nicely configured sportsbook would certainly be a welcome edition to existing users.

Is there a way to check the evil IP database before registering? That might reduce the number of abandoned accounts. Is there a list of banned IP addresses and ranges somewhere? Such information wouldn't be available for the general public, but theymos could probably export it if he wanted to or needed to do it. The admins can see which IPs the users used when registering, what they use when posting, logging in, etc. Even if there was such list, chances are slim that people who have never been on Bitcointalk will check it. Those who have seen the evil fee notifications would be surprised because it's not something you see on other boards.

I still do not know why people are attracted to NFTs, the tokens are used to provide private to the digital art pieces (or anything digital), so there can be many of the digital arts, but only the one valuable is the one that someone has the private key to its token. Not only that, but those individual art pieces that NFTs are, can be found and downloaded for free. I can have it and see it without buying it. Buying it only gives me possession of something that is publicly available. Maybe I can agree on your statement about temporary hype but this temporary thing could go beyond what we expect. If and when that happens and if see the things mprep was talking about happen in the altcoin boards, creating a new sub would make sense. I think there are valid reasons to create a new sub-board for the Lightning Network, but that still hasn't happened (although it seems that might change soon). After that experiment, the admins could consider further expansion. One way to make them aware of how popular NFTs are (if they are), is for someone to compile all the NFT discussions in one thread the way I did with Lightning Network threads. That way everyone can see what numbers we are really talking about.

Well, some people would say that Bitcoin crashed when it feel from $64.000 to $30.000 in terms of fiat value. Others would say it's just a correction for this or that reason. Whichever camp you belong to doesn't matter because as you can see, Bitcointalk is still here. There has been a lot of talk recently about forum activity, but it's not exclusively related to Bitcoin's current value.
For Bitcoin to become totally worthless, the whole system would have to fall apart and allow anyone to steal or spend any coins they like. If that were to happen, there would no longer be a need for Bitcoin it its current vulnerable state, or for the forum for that matter. Maybe an altcoin would then take the throne and the forum's only activity would originate from altcoin discussions.

From the top of my head, I've seen a few threads where certain users has had difficulties registering without triggering it even with IPs allocated by their ISPs. A fresh proxy could probably help in situations like that. They are free and available from many countries around the world. If one location doesn't work, one can always try with a different one, but newbies probably don't know about that. However, that still creates a big number of abandoned accounts. But hopefully that will decrease now as word goes around that there are users who can whitelist legit individuals who got affected by the evil-fee virus. I'm pretty sure the price of "evil" is adjusted when Bitcoin goes up or down in price, just like the Copper Membership. Theymos said more than two years ago that the most expensive evil fee someone has to pay wouldn't cost more than the price of the copper membership.

I believe this topic should be pinned/ featured (like the latest announcement) or at least offered on the blacklisted page itself for blacklisted users. I suggested to theymos to make it a sticky in Beginners and Help, but he doesn't think it's necessary. According to the PM he sent me, he already linked to this thread on the page that asks users to pay the evil fee. If someone wants to check and see how it looks, registering a new account with a free VPN service will probably trigger the evil-fee system for you.

I cant remember either the fees of withdrawal from bitsler was 0.0004 BTC or not but now I have check the withdrawal of bitcoin from bitsler and I have noticed it is just 0.00045000 bitcoin not the amount of 0.0004 bitcoin. So, I think you should update it. Thanks. Actually, Bitsler allows the player to select between two different withdrawal fees. Right now, the low blockchain fees are 0.0003 BTC while withdrawing for a quicker confirmation in mind will require paying 0.0006 BTC. The sum you mentioned, 0.00045 BTC, is the minimum withdrawal amount. It seems to have changed from 0.0004 BTC. I will update to the correct number in the table.

Why does Betja not show the correct time in minute and seconds for live matches? This is something I have noticed with some other crypto sportsbooks as well, but in contrast to them, fiat bookies all have the correct time on screen. At least the ones I am using.
There is one additional things your development team could consider introducing. Sound notifications for important events such as goals, bookings, penalties, etc. I don't think any crypto casino has those and it might make a big difference.

Not sure why you keep bringing God into the discussion. From some of the posts on your banned account I see that you speak Arabic, which would make you a Muslim. Not that it matters, but Islam prohibits gambling. You should know that after you mentioned God at least 10 times. You were also advertising a company known for scamming many people. Stop pretending to be righteous and on the right path.

Judging by the address at the bottom of the page, these products are shipped out of China. When you order it in the EU you will likely be required to pay VAT as well. It's a bit of a letdown that a product meant to store cryptocurrencies doesn't accept crypto as one of its payment methods, but they aren't the only ones. Apparently they only take PayPal and credit cards.

Ma nije uopće stvar love koju treba platiti.
OK, I reduced the maximum to the same price as copper membership, since it doesn't really make sense for copper membership to be cheaper when it includes whitelisting.
In the last 30 days: - 16441 users registered. - 4040 required a fee, and the average required fee among them was 0.00127297 BTC. - 99 paid the fee, and the average fee paid was 0.00116449 BTC.
I'm not necessarily bothered by the number of accounts abandoned due to fees, since many of those will probably be spammers searching for a no-fee IP. The fees actually paid (by people who are presumably not spammers) may be a bit high, though: I feel like it should be about a tenth of that.

You must be a great sports bettor then because when I am betting on sports, I am just losing my wallet quickly. I guess since you don't have that much time, it might not be a bad idea to become a tipster because we have very few legit tipsters in the bitcoin gambling industry and there's always need for more good ones. I have never really considered doing that. I know some people who tried being tipsters and it's all milk and honey when your tips are winning, but as soon as you start losing or end up in a negative streak, your customers start blaming you. Some guys have received threats as well. When I said I don't have that much time, I also meant I don't follow sports as closely as I did in the past and have less interest in analyzing teams and their performances to have the data to be a profitable tipster.
