This is the thing people need to understand, localbitcoins in most cases is faster than anything and the older players in the game that used it for years have built trust relations you will never achieve with a platform
And features? What features do I need? I want to exchange my coins for fiat, that's what I want and I couldn't care one bit about margins, defi, investment or any other crap and I will always choose the one that has worked flawlessly for years.
Sometimes I think a lot of the people here have never truly delved into the Bitcoin economy. They've never used a wallet properly. Never actually bought or sold anything for Bitcoin. Just speculated and traded on CEXs. That's why it doesn't make sense to them. And they've drank up the CEX or defi kool-aid about "easier cheaper faster 100%APY". So using actual p2p and interacting with other people, other Bitcoin traders? They can't imagine it.

As you can see for all outcomes odds are bigger on Stake, it means the juice is way smaller on Stake than on sportsbet, contrary to what you say. ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) Sportsbet I notice has just more or less the same odds as Stake, I guess because the providers are the same,,, but you generally see Stake put it up a little bit more on an equal basis BUT Sportsbet has a lot more boosts so if you use that the odds become better. Parlays are also for sure bigger on Sportsbet because you can add more legs and get 10%++ boosts plus free insurance from 5 legs and above. I believe they both, like many others, use Pinnacle as the odds provider. Where you bet and how you bet definitely affects which bookie you'd end up using. As Saint-loup points out, Sportsbet juice is a bit higher than most others who use Pinnacle. What I can tell is, Nitrogen is on the extreme end (highest juice) and Stake and FortuneJack are on the lower end, with Sportsbet in the middle. But as leea-1334 notes, the other bonuses at Sportsbet more than outweigh the juice: - I'm almost always betting only with boosts - the random super boosts daily are 20% or more - you get 2% more PER leg of a 5+ accumulator. And since my style relies heavily on longshot bets and accas, Sportsbet squeezes out a lot of value for me. For really longshot ML bets, nothing beats Fairlay though. It's p2p so no juice (except the small commission which is negligible once you wager enough). For example, using the same market Azerbaijan vs Serbia that Saint-loup uses, the odds right now are: 8.8 at Sportsbet: https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/soccer/international/wc-qualification-uefa/azerbaijan-serbia-605883daeb843ead81e3f4b99.0 at Stake: https://stake.com/sports/soccer/international/wc-qualification-uefa/41854145-azerbaijan-serbia10.23 after commissions at Fairlay: https://fairlay.com/market/azerbaijan-vs-serbia/?referral=2130e697-c138-436a-a753-de8ca2436301With a Boost, Sportbet odds become 9.34 (roughly 6.5% boosts). Taking an underdog at SuperBoost is really incredible value at Sportsbet =) So on Fairlay, that's a whopping 14% difference... and the gap in value gets even bigger as the odds climb. Which is why I almost solely choose Fairlay for really big underdogs like this. I'd regularly get 25/1 if betting against City last season, whereas Pinnacle would give max 20/1.

Oh that was such a sweet win last night, especially since all our HT wins hit by 1-0 goals;) Blackjack special (21/1 on total cards, goals, corners in a selected match of the day) almost hit last night too, check it out if you're a Sportsbet player! So we won last night without insurance, shall we do another small one, with insurance. WC and a mix of exotic lower league footie? 100 units at Sportsbet on Slovenia, Russia, MC Alger, Centenary Stormers, Solihull Moors @14.12. Other odds: 13.58 Units advantage: 54 Running advantage after 284 bets: +19,251 (+54) All-time cumulative: +56,798 Running units after 283 bets (394W|239L): +9,439 (+1385)

@icopress don't worry about it man, I can totally understand the letdown, I thought it was a win too when I checked this morning and counted. Still, a push is nice, and as jeremypwr says, this time the gods ruled against us (and it's still a push, not money lost, we'll be back!). SB have went out of their way before to award bets they didn't need to (they paid out Biden way earlier than most books AND paid out City EPL winner outrights weeks ago, e.g.), this bet voided probably even automatically because of the general rule and I've seen plenty of voided bets that worked in my favour before (postponed matches usually). Those are fair points too. Don't get me wrong - I'd love to see a win as well: (for 0.29 BTC profit!) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftalkimg.com%2Fimages%2F2023%2F11%2F16%2FFM5Xv.png&t=663&c=Jw02OL0KmDgZDw) I just wouldn't be surprised if normal soccer rules were the reason they stated for grading it as a void. Phew. You've just inspired me to up my Blackjack wagers. I actually bet the highest on our first loss haha;)

Most people didn't pay attention about the other topic tho so everyone continued to talk here ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) If someone is continuing to post without reading this post and yours then we should question about his posting motivations (aka spam). Yes but I think there would be less confusion if buwaytress could update the title because UEFA EURO 2021 doesn't exist (its right name is UEFA EURO 2020), moreover the current phase is not the qualification phase anymore, all the 24 teams have already been qualified, we are now just waiting the final tournament that will be held at the beginning of June (Friday 11). There is no confusion... this thread title clearly says EURO so I don't know why the confusion =) However, you are right, I have renamed the Thread as EURO 2020 as the name had been retained (thanks). Nevertheless, OP has been updated but here are the full fixtures also = https://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Download/competitions/EURO/02/64/21/93/2642193_DOWNLOAD.pdfI will now politely ask people to please post in the right thread.

^Woo! Thanks for the bump AND the update. I actually bet on Segunda every now and then meself, and there, it can get a bit heavier than La Liga itself -- since they don't generally have the same propensity of tiki taka that league's gotten used to over the past 10 years. P.S. If you are on Club Talk, there's a tab called Specials that'll update with every new special, including Blackjack! Keep an eye on it often;) P.P.S. There is also a Super Boost on the same match;)

The USD will lose 30% to inflation due to the amount printed for covid. This is very likely a low number. As it will compound over time. I am 64. Movies in a movie theatre sat matinee a double header 2 movies a few cartoons and a race clip if your ticket number's last digit matched the winner of the race you got a toy boys got models girls got dolls. This went on in the 1960's I must have went to 35 or 40 matinees back then. 50 cents ! For this deal. now 1 movie with no race ,no cartoons is 9 dollars for a matinee Gasoline 19 cents. now 2.99 in New Jersey New mustang car 2900. 10 Models to select from $27,155 - $72,900 from this website. https://www.ford.com/cars/mustang/models/my point is natural inflation in 55 years did those numbers. I'm a Gen X, literally the very last year of the understood Gen X timerange, straddling the time as analogue moved over to digital so I was actually lucky enough to still experience almost everything you'd mention (Southeast Asia so we maybe lagged behind for a while). Dad took me to matinees, and I remember our tickets were 2 units of our currency but it would include roasted sunflower seeds or steamed chickpeas (whichever you preferred) so I watched Rambo and Die Hard with a full stomach. Then you'd go for a coffee and streetfood that cost the exact same amount. 2 units or 50 "cents" for the coffee and 1.50 for a bowl of noodles with mince and roast meat. I remember this very well. Today, that same 2 units can't get even half a bowl of the same noodles. And the cheapest movie ticket now without frills is 15 units. You can get half price if you watch old releases. And countries neighbouring us have it much worse. Dollar was also 2.50 pegged for the longest time until the late 1990s... it's steadily grown to almost 4.50 now in the last 2 decades. So not only are we putting up with inflation, the US dollar is being overvalued more and more every year. And all that in 20-30 years. While min wage has only doubled since my parents first paycheque in 1970s to the 2000s. Impossible for many people to see nothing but a dead end with national fiat. People with privilege used to be able to open US dollar accounts at banks or even buy gold, but now it's Bitcoin that doesn't need privilege and access.

Fun experiment and yeah I remember that one, which makes $10 million Bitcoin impossible to imagine in 2010. But we're seeing steady growth in total wealth every year, so $10 million then equals to about $20 million Bitcoin today -- still impossible but it makes the $1 million Bitcoin "projection" all the more "plausible with every passing decade.
Plus we're getting USD pumped into infinity so who knows?

What a crappy parlay that turned out to be, ha ha! Let's go for halt time leads instead across friendlies and AFCON, sprinkled in with some exotic leagues in Americas and Africa. Because hey, odds are odds for favs;) 100 units at Sportsbet on HT wins from Egypt, Algeria, Ecuador, FC Hradec, Enyimba @14.85. Other odds: 13.98 Units advantage: 113 Running advantage after 283 bets: +19,197 (+113) All-time cumulative: +56,744 Running units after 282 bets (393W|239L): +8,054 (-100)

Can anyone explain Why people are use localbtc If there is so high fees and service %? What rational Reason You need that service so badly that You pay highest money for money?
Haven't you read all the answers provided in countless threads before? I sell at Localbitcoins regularly enough, not so much in euros but in a southeast asian local currency. Why? How does sells that send you bank transfers within 1 minute sound like (we have a variety of instant cash transfer methods). I can definitely sell at a higher price than market too, I just need to be patient. And it's still cheaper for most people to buy from me at my price than if using an exchange with higher spreads. It makes sense if people trust traders with years of feedback more than exchanges, plus the protection of escrow and arbitration -- for those not just ready to make the plunge into non-custodial p2p like bisq.

Not many surprises tonight in the end. Armenia did win against the more fancied Iceland but the odds weren't too far apart. I had my hopes up for a while with Georgia leading at halftime and Faroe Islands ahead also for all of 11 minutes haha.
Did think Italy would score a few and let in one, had a "3-1" correct score but it doesn't look like a goal apiece is happening with under 10 mins left.
Good games still, not bad entertainment.

Thanks for the lowdown on stats. Always interesting to see two teams come up against each other when they both seemingly play the same style. Romania can't possibly want to play against a technically superior team so they might learn a lesson from Georgia against Spain earlier, who sat back and soaked up the good passing to break it down with a bit of aggressiveness. Then again, Germany isn't exactly afraid of physical game either. My Blackjack loaded!

Nice thread my man. Im pretty sure only European website offer this kind of odds boost. I played on asian website, but it's because easier to bet and the handicap is much more familiar. I bet daily as well with combo 3 bets. Total odds mostly around 10-11 with bet of 1$. So far i still score more than 100$ profits.
Thank you, I hope you get a lot of fun from it! I like to point out that I'm not a tipster at all, but love a good bet with loads of value and everything you see I put is just better value either from boosted odds, or just really great deals at p2p (fairlay), freebet value, insurance, etc. Asian websites I've stopped using for years but they did use to give really high odds on certain handicap markets but forget those -- crypto bookies like Sportsbet and Fairlay (p2p) are incredible AND Asian handicaps are very common now. Hope you caught today's Georgia HT win that was something like 30/1!

Think about it this way. Bitcoin is pegged to dollar in almost everywhere, even in other countries we hear about how much dollars bitcoin became, not pounds, not euros, not something else, it is always dollars.
So that means dollars per bitcoin will always be the thing we calculate it for, let's say you live in a nation and dollar became more valuable because your nation lost value, Turkey had that very recently from what I read, and that means even at the same dollar level your money now worths more in that fiat, but we still do not say bitcoin went up do we? That is why dollar will always have an impact on bitcoin price for sure because it's pegged to it. Plus dollars printed last year and this year combined makes dollar less valuable if you ask me, and that is why I think it is obvious that people are optimistic about the future of bitcoin since dollar will keep losing value with inflation.
That is not true though, I trade in at least 1 country and Bitcoin is in the value of the local currency there (currently in 6-figure territory since January 2021!). And I know for certain people have been talking about it in the local currency too -- same as price of gold and oil, it's a very local context. People in UK see it in pounds too, so you're at least a little wrong there. But anyway, not arguing about dollar as a universal peg or currency of value. Just thinking it might be time people eventually think of a more universal alternative. Bitcoin seems pretty cool;)

I think we need to investigate @buwaytress and @igehhh ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) To have completely same picks when you are picking ML + points spread.... Either they are taking picks from same source or I guess just very good at predicting NCAA. Than we have @JanpriX who went against the herd as much as possible on every single game. Now we just need to convince Steve to get us another last MM hurah, maybe tennis this time around for entirely selfish reasons ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) igehhh I told you you need to spread your copybetting away from me! hahaha. But yeah, after coming so close and making 11 in the penultimate MM, I'm feeling all the power coming from this one but damn igehh I have to share it with you if I turn out to be right hahaha! I maybe need to bet on basketball more often now huh! @slaman29: Good luck to you too, have you ever won MM? @JanpriX Did you get inspired by underdog-mania?? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) @rdbase: Pleased for you. This was a super thread and may it live on long after MM. Maybe something else takes it place? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

France ahead with Dembele goal, and then that unfortunate own goal. They should go on to win this comfortably judging from how the match is going. Then again, they were also leading in their first match against Ukraine and that ended up 1-1! Yes, Malta surprised me in this game, but I was still waiting for Slovakia to score the winning goal. But I was even more surprised by Luxembourg, who was able to beat Ireland on the road, this is perhaps the biggest sensation for me. Luxembourg, of course, has started to play a little better lately, but to beat the Irish at their home is of course a great feat for Luxembourg.
Like I said, Malta winning this would have been the biggest upset but Lux now holds the biggest head of them all so far. Like Cnut says however, if we're using odds then Turkey beating Netherlands which had slightly higher odds as Luxembourg winning against Ireland takes the cake. Malta drawing, probably at par though.
