I keep getting this error:

Not sure where the holdup is. I tried in /Biblepay and in /SRC..made sure I was sudo.. linux new to me however.

Delete your banlist, delete your debug.txt.  Then change your .conf to not generate (i.e., #gen=1).  Start, go to wallet repair, hit the Reindex button. It will restart.  Wait, if it gets stuck at 12 hours or less for more than 5 minutes, exit out of Core.  Restart Core, it should take a few more minutes and sync.  Then exit Core one last time, re-enable gen=1 in your .conf file, delete or rename your debug.txt file.

where is situated banlist? 2nd sentence dont understand..... gen=1 delŽed=not use?
why i cant join to exists peerers?

You will use gen=1 but 616 meant to comment it out (ex. #) for the time being...that is how I read it anyway.

https://jesuscoin.network/

Looks like we got competition  Wink
At first I thought the whole thing was an April fools joke.  I felt ill as if I wasted my time reading the whitepaper.  Especially towards the end, my thoughts were if this is real, the lead developer might be going to hell, then I thought, oh this is just a joke to see how many people go to contribute BTC on the ERC-20 page.  After reading it I see the site actually has an Ether token and a crowdsale page.  This is blasphemy.

Anyway, I almost destroyed my points but since this appears to be legit here they are:

Cons about tokenizing "Jesus":
- Using Jesus name to profit from without being actual disciples (similar to megachurch revenue but worse)
- Selling ERC-20 tokens up front as an ICO, with no promise of innovative value: IE a pump n dump scheme
- Claiming owning shares of the coin allows you to "be forgiven of sin" - blasphemy
- Not a grass roots effort - entire sham is an investor fundraiser PR event
- No propensity for any church to use the currency
- Provides no value add to the block chain, no new features
- Does absolutely no giving which is fundamental to picking up the cross
- Use case provides an example of funding a crusade and FAQ says "Not to do that" (contradicting its own use case)
- Wall Street Trader example - this did it for me - You are known by your fruits

They are not even a mosquito on our back.

For a piss take they/he has raised quite a few ether. Just goes to show throw any piece of ICO up with a bit marketing and you can bank.

Yeah, but even if you look at their team, it's just all the disciples of Jesus. It just looks like a joke to me ...
Their whole thing is just visually appealing ..
I truly believe more in this project.

That is truly shocking to me...more so than gross irreverence to Him. I suppose a Dev could throw is own Ether at it to make it look like people would participate...I mean how could someone be so foolish?
Although I suppose when I consider the Olsteen's attendance... preach or offer assured prosperity and they come out of the woodwork.

I think the pool site is still finicky, i was unable to save a letter I wrote. First one worked, the second letter wouldnt save. I also thought at one point you could upvote letters...but maybe im misinterpreting something.
Agree with changing the boolean values for beginners sake. My wife would have no idea what to do, especially with no labels. Would be cool if I could sort on those values as well so unwritten can float to the top. Thanks!

Just in the mean time, copy any text to notepad so you dont lose anything; Cant see a problem with Save though, worked every time for me so far.

As far as boolean, yes, 1 means True or Yes and 0 means false/no.  We will label the values asap.  Rome was not built in a day LOL.

You should be able to sort any web list by any column.  Click it twice if it doesnt work.  The first click is "memory" the second is Sort.

copy that, i did email it to myself. No worries, I wasnt complaining, more just making notes. Maybe it was my browser, I was using Opera. Take your time Dev, experts built the titanic; Proficient built the ark.

Hi Just tried to run the 64bit version and I continuously get the error massage : NSIS Error Integrity check has failed.
I'v tried to download a few times. No success installing the file so far... What can be the problem ? Is there an alternative address to download this file ?"

https://www.reddit.com/r/BiblePay/comments/6umlqq/how_to_mine_biblepay_on_windows/dmbz4xa/

This was happening to me on 1 machine - WIN10 64, tried uninstalling BBP, running CCleaner, etc..
I ended up opening CMD prompt and browsing to the path of the installer and typing it out. After the .exe enter "/NCRC" and it should bypass that error. Some are able to drag the installer into CMD but that would not work for me. Tried dropping the .exe in multiple folders but that wasnt the issue. So.. just CD to the path and "xxxx/xxxx/biblepay.exe /NCRC

Worked for me - showing latest wallet

Anyone else getting this goofy NSIS error on the new installer? (WIN10) adding "/NCRC" to the end of the path in CMD doesnt resolve

POOL FAVOR TO ASK:

The pool is under extreme load, and can barely handle new traffic.

As a stopgap, I ask that everyone upgrade to the newest version of Biblepay-qt (this version was just deployed at midnight last night) version 1.0.2.3.  (If you already have v1.0.2.3 upgrade anyway).

It contains the enhanced miner packet.  (The technical difference is the new version is more efficient on partial work packet communication and communication back-off).  This should alleviate 65% of the pool traffic and give us time to upgrade the server (and or, opensource it and open more pools simultaneously).

I will give 24 hours for pool miners to upgrade, after that, a switch is thrown forcing upgrade to the newest version (The pool has the ability to require the higher version).

Delighted to see BBP listed on coinmarketcap this morning, this will certainly help to attract new interest over time.

I see masternodes/sanctuarys in development toward the end of this year. How many coins are required to run a node?
Thanks for the update.

Here is the link in case anyone missed it:

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/biblepay/

Were #487, so we are on page 5.
The nice thing about starting at the bottom, is we only have one way to go: UP.

Thanks for the notification on wallet upgrading for pool. I'm now upgrading my ubuntu version by re-compiling the new version from github.

And this is really a good news that biblepay listed at coinmarketcap, this is a good start!

Any chance you could post this as a How-To? I have recompiled 3 times on Mint and am still pulling the old wallet. Now the pool mining will not work at all...wallet syncs but I have screwed something up. I was able to move all those coins from that wallet to my master but that short of formatting and starting from scratch, not sure how to make it work.  Thank you for any info- (also..new to linux)

91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What do we think about SALT? on: August 22, 2017, 06:43:29 PM
I entered at 1.50 and have been watching it. To my knowledge they have yet to provide a direction in which I could sell off my Salt to make a profit. Its great that my bag is almost 10x at the moment...not so great if the only place that buys it back is Salt itself. Admittedly, I dont follow the project that much, just saw an opportunity...so anyone feel free to shed some light.

those instructions on the reddit page for installing under linux are awesome. i stumbled through it on my own the first time and now want to upgrade to .9 wallet.
if I go through those instructions in order to recompile, do I have to remove anything or will everything be overwritten? do I have to reinstall the berk. db files?

thanks a ton whoever put those in.

are we really getting wrapped around the axle on whether or not these children are truly orphaned by definition? I can assure you, even with 1 parent, where they reside they are in dire straits and Compassion is legit enough to actually get the funds to the family...which isnt always easy to find in a charity.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BiblePay - New Coin Launch - Official Thread on: August 18, 2017, 02:20:22 AM
Would also be cool if during the month of Nov there is a small pool of additional funds for the children's Christmas gift. My family sponsors a couple children through Compassion already and i know Christmas time / Birthday is a time you can provide more than the monthly allocation. Just thinking out loud.

Great work Dev .. I really see Colossians 3:23 being walked out here.

I would help in any way as well - great purpose for a token amidst the blind materialism and the ICO ruses that are rampant in this space. So many people worried about driving a lambo or whatnot while there are innocent kiddos around us who barely get a 1 meal a day. We need a slack channel.
