81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The next step for the evolution of Altcoins on: May 27, 2017, 11:46:40 AM
What real value do alt coins have? Bitcoin is the storage of value. ETH is the main competitor with every new project being built on it's platform and the EEA giving it a nice foundation, it is also a store of value. The rest of alts don't really have much going for them. The Billionaires are invested in BTC/ETH as stores of value. What alts should be are start-ups that pay dividends to coin holders. This is the progression alts must take as BTC/ETH become the stores of value. You want to invest in a start-up and get monthly or yearly profit depending on how many coins(shares) you hold? Then buy into a company you believe in. Alts will basically become dividend paying shares of a company. So if you own 1% of an alts coins which are set at a cap you get 1% of that companies profit. The company will keep some for themselves while the rest are sold to investors. This is necessary to legitimize AltCoins and make them more than just a gambling game.

Aragon is a new coin offering to build companies on top of its network with the possibility of doing just that building a company and paying dividends while the aragon network handles things like accounting and sets up a court system for borderless decentralized companies to operate on.

There are many other altcoins offering similarly innovative features so its not just bitcoin and ETH but for sure they are the most stable ones.
82  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to the moon on: May 27, 2017, 11:42:17 AM
If the price of bitcoin now, including already in bitcoin prices go to the moon, I think this is the beginning, because I think the bitcoin will reach the price even higher than the current price, so give a smile for the price now.

How about your opinion?

Bitcoin will continue to grow, but it will not skyrocket as the days pass. Bitcoin will grow steadily, it will go slowly but surely. And it will always be the king of all other coins.

I don't know if it will be king of other coins because there are so many good coins out there but I agree it will grow but not necessarily skyrocket. Its actually unhealthy when it pumps hard and fast because that's always when these crashes happen, after a pump.
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: what happened for the market? on: May 27, 2017, 11:39:37 AM
It happens every so often, people panic after a big push upwards and the same graph circulates every time. The point being we could see further falls before seeing it go up again but everyone expects it go to up in the long term.
84  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whether bitcoin able to penetrate the price of 5000 $ on: May 27, 2017, 11:37:23 AM
Right now is the panic moment, and it could fall to 1000$ before again seeing a new all time high but I agree eventually we will see 5k$.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bubble Bursting or Just a Short Term Correction? on: May 27, 2017, 11:35:09 AM
The weak hands will exit and the true believers will remain, you can either call it a bubble burst or a correction but the matter of fact is eventually it will go back up for any coins that have true value.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Stuck with These Alts? on: May 27, 2017, 11:31:07 AM
So I bought some alts a couple of days ago, Ripple, Nem, Decred, Maid. And as the bitcoin bubble has popped, every alt has felt it, down considerable amount in the past couple of days.
So my question to all like me who have invested at the wrong time is, are we not stuck with these alts for long? Because I don't see a climb up so quickly, so either we sell and lose, or we wait for an unknown length of time.
What are you going to do?

Yeah we are bagholders for now, but the market can change quickly it could just as easily drop another 50% as it could double in value. So its your choice to sell at a loss or hold waiting for better times and its not an easy choice to make for any of us.
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: We're reaching $3,000 soon! on: May 27, 2017, 11:24:32 AM
At this pace BTC will hit $5,000 until the end of the year! Every BTC holder must know this: you will own a fortune in a few years!

Is $10,000 reachable? I guess it's clear that it is!  (2-3 years)

Is $25,000 reachable? Why not!   (5-10 years)

Is $50,000 reachable? Harder but not impossible!  (>10 years)
Sure it will. It's only less than $400 before it pass $3k . I'm surprised at how fast the price raised since 2 days ago and honestly I've been monitring the price to withdraw some of my money. Do you think I should do it now or wait til tomorrow for a higher price? Or will it not change?
Right now its better to get more btc its is decreasing now and wait like half a year and boom $5k/btc enjoy the fortune Grin Grin

True that, six months may be optimistic but it will happen at some point. No one is talking about 3k$ anymore since its crashed now but in my opinion nothing has changed from a couple days ago.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoins now, At this price, It Isn't working on: May 27, 2017, 11:22:59 AM
Well after this recent crash the price is good... Now you can buy if you so wish to, whether it keeps going down or goes back up in the short term is anyone's guess.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost my money on: May 27, 2017, 11:20:27 AM
It's unfortunate but it happens especially when margin trading. I hope you recover yourself somehow in the future.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Small fortune, now which country ? on: May 27, 2017, 06:35:11 AM
These days almost all countries are relatively bitcoin friendly. For retiring you wan't a middle income/developing country if you are hoping to watch costs, anywhere in latin america or SE asia is good. You could enjoy a peaceful life with no hassle.
91  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price going below 2k$ on: May 27, 2017, 06:28:28 AM
Drop of 400$ in just two days and it will probably go below 2k$, is that China dumping or something else? Will it cause the mass selling and buying once the bitcoin drops as low as it will? Or will the acceptance of bitcoin in Australia of 1st July recover the price as it was a few days ago?

Just a regular correction, its gone up way too fast in the last week and it will prevent a much bigger selloff in the future by correcting now. Remember bitcoin isn't meant to double in price every day it needs natural growth in both usage and price.
92  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: May 27, 2017, 06:20:21 AM
Bitcoin is either a currency or an asset, it doesn't actually reduce efficiency through which is what would improve the economy of a country. The only way is if a specific country disproportionately has a large amount of bitcoin relative to its population compared to other countries and its price went up then you would at some point see flows of money going to that country and improving the economy. This is however an unlikely scenario.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: ViaBTC tx accelerator !! on: May 27, 2017, 06:14:18 AM
viatbtc can be slow even when they accept your tx because you still have to wait for them to mine their own block, in the worst of case this can be half a day or more but usually you only wait a few hours.
94  Economy / Economics / Re: BITCOIN HALVING? on: May 27, 2017, 06:07:39 AM
Do someone here know about bitcoin halving?
Is there a problem when bitcoin halving hits?
Is it better to buy bitcoin when bitcoin halving come?

Bitcoin halving means there is less bitcoin being actively sold by miners on a daily basis, it reduces the inflation rate, but next the next halving isn't until 2020
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: May 27, 2017, 06:01:12 AM
Gambling with bitcoins is great, but for a newbi try to invest with a bit of bitcoin, even though you'll get great results, take a lesson from every gamble you've done, so you'll have a way to win the gamble.

Gambling is for fun, no one makes money gambling and no one wins except the house this is common knowledge. I can't believe there are people that try to suggest gambling is a good idea.
96  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why are rich countries rich and poor countries poor? on: May 27, 2017, 05:54:46 AM
Its simple rich countries developed technologies and battled corruption early on. The main reason poor countries stay poor is because they are getting robbed by the people running their countries. The technology is there for every country in the world to become developed.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have now 500$ for invest? Where you invest? on: May 27, 2017, 05:43:08 AM
Bitcoin and Ethereum are great but ICO's bring higher potential rewards. The one I'm betting will be most successful is Aragon because they will bring the cryptoworld mainstream through startup companies all over the world.
98  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin hit 3500$ in 2018?  ??? on: May 27, 2017, 05:36:16 AM
It can hit 3500$ already this year, by next year its anyone's guess but for sure it will continue its rise as more and more people are using it but more crucially big funds are taking a huge interest. If a US ETF eventually gets approved 10k$ is easily possible.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you invest in Ethereum longterm? on: May 27, 2017, 05:29:57 AM
ETH is both becoming mainstream through its value in ICO's and by its design it is superior to bitcoin. While I think bitcoin will always have a good place as the first cryptocurrency, ethereum will come out on top in the long term.
100  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Alert when going up again? on: May 27, 2017, 05:23:06 AM
Blockfolio keeps track of your entire portfolio and can be setup to alert you when certain alts reach certain prices. Its a phone app that works on ios or android.
