81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do we really need stable coin? on: August 02, 2020, 08:17:10 PM
think if we should look back in 4 years back in cryptocurrency industry, crypto do very well to be stable in the price value, but is very difficult this days to see crypto that's actually valueable, not until we started seen stable coins in the crypto market but there's no change in the value, Do you think we need stable coins?
As has been repeatedly mentioned on this cryptocurrency forum, this is a way to leave the zone of influence of financial regulators. It goes without saying that you need a stable equivalent to fiat currency.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VISA reveals plans to offer Ripple (XRP) pmts & Ripple launches beta for XRP-bas on: August 02, 2020, 08:13:45 PM
All these new Ripple rats trying as much as possible to pitch Ripples to newbies at all cost is fishy to me, Ripple this, Ripple that. I have been reading this type of stories about Ripple since day one. The issue with Ripple is not the tech but the centralization nature of their tokens which people frown at, and i think it is too late to correct this
Well, will it be necessary to sell them to someone? They will sell as usual to the most greedy and at high prices. That's why such news is probably released.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from centralized wallets on: August 02, 2020, 08:08:10 PM
I am glad that we have many DEX wallets now, people can easily avoid those shady centralized wallets. Coinbase was better before, but right now , they become not important to me. The support experience is horrible in Coinbase, KYC is another drawback in centralized wallets! I am using Ledger and other DEX Wallets only, and now I feel safer than before!
quite right, even for small amounts, it is better to use a secure storage method. As the saying goes, "whoever cares about himself, God protects him"
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New investors are too impatience on: August 01, 2020, 07:55:25 PM
The vast majority of new crypto investors that I am aware of are anxious and restless these days. Gone are the days when early crypto investors  invest in coins and watch it develop over time, newbies and new investors are too in hurry to make money and many turned crypto investment into life jobs.
The benefits of an investment is called returns which takes years to accomplish so its never going to be easy for those looking for short term ROI and yet fundraising like IEO still brings short term profit for smart investors,i think almost all new crypto investors lacks patience
It's good that you tell a true story and warn people of mistakes. But the one who has to learn will certainly make a mistake and draw a conclusion from it. It rarely happens that people learn from the mistakes of others.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: August 01, 2020, 07:52:01 PM
Why do people still fall victims to obvious scams? Especially on twitter people are still sending bitcoin to traders, no one is a perfect trader, do not send bitcoin or other coins to people to trade for you, its stupid and foolish idea

Today a bitcoin trader on twitter exit scam and delete all traces off social media, i heard its about 53bitcoin, here is the link to the news

https://coinnewstelegraph.com/bitmex-bitcoin-fund-manager-exit-scams-before-christmas/

Pls stop, there is no such thing as easy money, its either you learn or you quit or else you will keep losing money

86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO WhitePaper Matter Most? on: August 01, 2020, 07:48:12 PM
White paper is just a beautiful legend, a fairy tale that, if it does come true, is either not as written, or does not live up to expectations, or does not come true at all. Choosing a project for investment taking into account only white paper is like marrying a bride only because of her beautiful appearance
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still sleeping? on: August 01, 2020, 07:42:47 PM
Why are you so sure that there will be a repeat of 2017 this year? Too much waiting this season
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Defi hypes is it a bubble or real indicator of market rebound on: July 31, 2020, 08:34:42 PM
But most of these projects accept bitcoin and other valuable cryptocurrencies to pay for their services. I think DeFi is the next step in the crypto industry
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Think before joining any campaign on: July 31, 2020, 08:23:28 PM
Everything is so simple and clumsy. They didn't even bother to make a quality signature for the subscription company. And the design was done in Paint, probably.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The success of IEO is Exchange on: July 31, 2020, 08:18:04 PM
The success of ICO lies in the hand of huge partnership support, huge investors and trust but since scammers canes around ICO trust was ruined but now what we have left is IEO, and I will keep repeating myself over and over for new projects that the success of an IEO is top exchanges, no matter how good your use case is, if you choose p2pb2b or vindax over Okex or binance just have it at the back of your mind that failure awaits you with 80% chance over 100%
You are partially right. It all depends on the project and on the people who are working on it. In principle, it is enough to get acquainted with the idea of the project and with the development team to understand whether it is worth investing. IEO may end like ICO
91  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Too Many Altcoins! on: July 30, 2020, 08:15:27 PM
Do you ever wonder why there are many altcoins today? I was just thinking that since the main objective of cryptocurrency is to ease payment. Why would people create so much altcoins when people can only use bitcoin as a payment gateway? Are the founders of every altcoins creating their token for money?
Well, because if you just ask what would you give to bitcoins or satoshi, then no one will give, but if you offer to change bitcoin for an altcoin paper candy wrapper and convincingly tell the legend, then people will believe and change
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop kill project? on: July 27, 2020, 08:30:44 PM
I dont know what you think guys but i think airdrop and bounty kill the project let say after the project finish the ico all the bounty and airdrop hnter sell their coin/token , this make te price go low.Since all of bounty and airdrp hunter did not care about the project.
You're wrong. Here, as they say, "in skillful hands and the penis balalaika (Russian musical instrument)." Bounty is just a tool for presenting your project to the world. And who uses it how it is already a personal matter for everyone
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Gas fees too high on: July 27, 2020, 08:26:27 PM
This post is just to complain, i remember in the past - a year ago - a 10 Gwei Gas price would have your transaction confirmed in few minutes. Now it takes days... Average Gas is now 30-40 Gwei.
We recently paid 5$ on a contract with 10 Gwei Gas price, it has taken almost a week and the transaction still not confirmed, meaning can be rejected !
At least in bitcoin it's all transactions, and it does not pretend to be a chain for deploying or interacting with contracts!
This is the price for using smart contracts. It remains to be glad that they do not take a commission for requesting the balance on the account wallet

95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: UTRUST on: July 27, 2020, 08:20:38 PM
Utrust integrated with THEE Gallery to provide possibility to buy incredible artworks from  world-renowned artists with BTC, ETH, UTK, and other digital currencies https://twitter.com/UTRUST/status/1286670260628852737
And here's the news recently came out on July 22

https://elrond.com/blog/elrond-payments-will-be-available-for-4-7-million-online-stores-in-180-countries-via-utrust

https://twitter.com/UTRUST/status/1285905582986330113?s=20
Yes, I have read about the news, Utrust's development team is working well, they continue to get new potential partnerships that will strengthen their projects. I hope the UTK token can reach the ATH price again.
OKEX today is naughty and dabbles with the price. From ~ $ 0.085 to $ 0.06 and back to ~ $ 0.085.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Bad Exchanges on: July 26, 2020, 09:05:25 PM
Vindax and LAtoken have no real volume and that makes any project that already launched on those exchange will actually become the zero value token as there was no demand and people will never try to use these crap exchange sites again after they have a very bad experience with these sites.

I have heard horror stories about LAtoken, but haven't heard much about Vindax.  In the Reddit there is even a sub-forum covering the LAtoken scams. Even here in Bitcointalk, you can find dozens of threads dealing with various scams perpetrated by that exchange. But a lot of people continue to use this exchange, attracted by the low fees and the large number of IEOs using that platform.
I have not heard of these exchanges. But thanks to this discussion, I'll be in the know. By the way, I wonder what he knows about Cryptopia? how are they doing there, probably full (  )(  )
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which are your top 5 coins for HODL? on: July 26, 2020, 08:59:29 PM
If you are using the HODL strategy, then there is no point in choosing a currency. Keep in BTC. In my opinion, this is the surest and safest way.
why did you say if there was no point in choosing another coin? not the other one can also give us an advantage in the future I mean top altcoins
I meant that if you HODL for too long, then what's the difference in what to keep your assets. Although, if you look at everything globally and from the perspective of 2017, then the most profitable way at the moment would be to enter Bitcoin with its forks

99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust USDT? on: July 24, 2020, 09:03:37 PM
It's seems lot of transaction was made with USDT as like Eth, so Usdt had a good support. My opinion of usdt is it will good for transaction and it won't be better option for long term investment.

For me, in my opinion,I think usdt has really helped a lot of us trader, especially when you are fortunate to know that the bear market is coming, you can quickly sell your coins to usdt and that will help save the value of your asset till when you gain the trust of the market to convert, so far I trust usdt.

To gain more profit, you should hold usdt without any panic. Panic selling will be the worst option will be chosen by new traders to save their money. But it's not true, holding is better option.
Bro, in 1991 the whole country ceased to exist, and with it its bank "Sberbank" ceased to exist together with the accounts of depositors who kept money there) And you assure everyone that some kind of surrogate from a private "shop" is safe
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: UTRUST on: July 24, 2020, 08:55:56 PM
Why are the latest news and price increases so badly discussed? Https: //twitter.com/UTRUST/status/1281226605231108097? S = 20 News, of course, is already 9 days, but someone should revive the branch
does it affect the price I think not, this is the true FOMO happening among other altcoins that started at the whale pump
so quickly take advantage and then leave
And what do you think, to which side-chapels the price will be raised? $ 0.1 is by no means a chapel of dreams. Of course, everyone would like to repeat January 2018, is it possible
