So, did anybody look at what specifically causes IE to blow up in such spectacular fashion?

Something really screwy happens, as I cannot even open Microsoft Word after such blow up (it also blows up) until I restart the computer.

IIRC, the AMD drivers limit you to 8 GPU cores. People could previously use 4 dual-GPU cards, as that added up to 8, but could not add a 5th card. I've heard of people running 6 single-GPU cards, or up to 4 dual-GPU cards with no issues. You should be fine.

Cool, thank you. Good to know.

Would there be any driver issues running three 7990 cards (six GPUs total) under Windows 7?

I keep reading mentions that over five GPUs on a single box are causing problems. But I have not seen details; anybody go a link?

Thanks.
84  Economy / Service Discussion / How to communicate with Mt. Gox? on: April 19, 2013, 06:31:05 PM
How does anyone communicate with Mt.Gox Bitcoin Exchange?

Whenever I am trying to send an email to MtGox, I get it bounced back with the following message:

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:
     aml@mtgox.com
Technical details of permanent failure:
Message rejected by Google Groups. Please visit http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=188131 to review our Bulk Email Senders Guidelines.

There is a support button on the site, when I click on it I get a window that says “Hello, we're going to find you a support agent to chat with...” and nothing happens...

Lethn,

First, try unchecking all the CPU Affinity boxes, before starting the miner.
Is there anything else running on the computer?

I switched to a different miner, and got a block within minutes, then another. Weird.

Hello, a question from a newbie.

I have setup a couple of computers with GPUs to mine Bitcoins on testnet.

I am getting over 300 Mhash/s combined rate.

If my calculations are correct at the current testnet difficulty below 43, I should be getting over 35 hundred testnet Bitcons a day; I am getting nothing. Do I understand the difficulty correctly? Could somebody please check my math?

How long does it normally take to mine testnent Bitcoins?

Perhaps something is wrong with my setup, though I get no errors.

The following thread indicates that solo mining has been broken in the bitcoin client after version 0.3.21.

Is this information still current? 0.3.21 sounds like an awfully old version to use. I am on v0.8.1 right now.

Thank you.
