81  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What about an association between cash and cryptos? on: September 17, 2018, 05:10:06 AM
People always associate cryptos and fiat since they always see this a great rivalry hence a threat to each other.

But I don't get it why OP narrate it like it's the same when in fact it's too far to differentiate.

Both are dematerialized currencies which directly contains their own value and serve freely accessible transactions. They both protect their users’ independence and privacy.

That's obviously false. Do you really think that the electronic cash we currently use (the banking system) is secure and offers a high level of privacy? Governments force banks to cooperate with them and share our sensitive data.

Nah, I think government will just force them through if the bank had reported that there is certain people that have suspicious transaction activity and it should be handed to AMLC, but if not, our personal informations won't be disclose to anyone.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We'll continue to crash until we do this! on: September 17, 2018, 03:56:19 AM
Not all old coin is just worthless. Like bitcoin and many other coins. Some coins are good to hold because of its unique features, and the others are just a product of some FOMO pump and dump.

Bitcoin is different story here, even it's old it's the one that dominant of all cryptos.

What OP is talking about is those ico coins that later become shit as the community abandoned it and the real usage became useless. Everyday, there's new token that's being created and people use it as escape goat to their financial status so as long as we doesn't have a strong regulation otherwise we will be flooded by shitcoins.

It's hard to say we should do this or that as some people doesn't care anyway. Dumping became a habit.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's going on with crypto? on: September 16, 2018, 09:06:48 AM
This happens almost every year, crypto prices dip in the hole. And just like everybody say big daddy is playing again. Let's just wait what will happen this coming 4th quarter. Hopefully this market will recover.

Most likely that's the scenario and if you go against those big whales, you definitely screwed up and leave an empty pocket. Why don't we just buy now and enjoy the profit afterward?

I'm betting that when bitcoin is up again in $10k, I'll seeing posts that they're waiting for bitcoin to go below in $10k so they can buy. But the thing is, the opportunity is all on our faces right now and it's up to us whether we grab it.
84  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ✅✅Beginner's info about PUMP AND DUMP - How to recognize🔴 on: September 16, 2018, 08:16:57 AM
Your article isn't just for a beginner but to everyone that planning to join those signal groups and all important infos are well point out.

Just to add some, signal groups also use telegram channel for their group. Their " mooning " is always scheduled at their comfortable time and 12 hours before the pump they advise their participants what coin they'll pump and what exchange sites to be use. And you're right as they pump those coins that are already shit nor dead.

It's just sad that their victims were left hanging on the top while they're all enjoying the profit.
85  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mistakenly send BTC to BCD wallet (bitcoin diamond) on: September 16, 2018, 07:33:31 AM
Hello Guys,

I am new here, i just want to ask you folks.
I mistakenly sent BTC to BCD wallet, is that possible to retrieved my BTC from BCD wallet?

 Sad Sad Sad

Anyone ever experienced the same thing with me?

Luckily, I still didn't as I always made sure that I'm clicking the right address. I just wonder what exchange site or wallet did you use as I know that there's a pop up notification in which address. Plus you can differentiate what is a bitcoin address from bitcoin diamond address.

For example.
btc address
36msBbE9Hg9zT2ziYDYXBRMdcE9JV1uAdE

bitcoin gold
AV5zS2jdx6aLFPwXLY1EfUUQ9X6dKdYP59

bitcoin cash
qzm0jtw5nj8a4wk6kx0pkm7nexz6nrhsyq7rfuqa7r

AFAIK, bitcoin address usually starts in number 1 and 3.
It's better if you post the transaction hash so we can know if it succeeded or not. But I bet, not.
86  Economy / Economics / Re: The Reason For Creating a New Cryptocurrency? on: September 15, 2018, 06:27:29 AM
I like to example that social media. Facebook, twitter, instagram. We all know that these are the most famous and most used social media in the whole world. But when we look at the past. There are some first social media that was created. Like friendster and etc. They made a new social media because of exclusivity. Every people needs a new way of doing something.

The reason why friendster had gone to lime light is because it's lack of features that people needed to every day lives and so when facebook came into the picture it took over the social media and become no. 1.

But in the case of crypto currency, since people see that there's an opportunity to make money they think that this will be a great idea to make. Just create a coin and make it look a legit one and raise a crowdsale then plan an exit scam.

Older altcoins are really good but with the booming of icos and lack of regulation, altcoins getting shit every day.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Power Consumption on: September 15, 2018, 03:12:21 AM
owh, sure. many ways to create environmentally friendly mining, I think using solar power, waste power, hydropower will create a good mining and save more on electricity costs.

some cities in the England have used hydropower for mining.
Bitcoin mining with solar power may be less effective, but if you use hydropower it can be maximized, then is it true that in the UK it has been mining using waste, water and solar power, can I find a link about the news?

How come it will be less effective? As far as I know, using solar power is consistent as having a regular electricity. It may be less effective if your solar panel didn't get enough charge as it may affect the consistency in mining. But if you live in a tropical country wherein the temperature usually get in 40°C, this will be enough to charge the solar panel that can be use in household.

Yet still it will always depend on classification of solar panel.

This isn't far to happen as we've seen icos that using blockchain to store data and avoid counterfeiting. So having bitcoin as payment in hospital is the thing we should look up to since we know how bitcoin revolutionize the payment system.

Just to add, Japan is now accepting bitcoin in their beauty clinics, since Bitflyer took a huge step.

89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTO IS NOT RULED BY PEOPLE ANYMORE on: September 14, 2018, 08:01:28 AM
i will wait until this end off year, i have positif think about crypto if ETF decision in this end of september bring new fresh money to market, holding some cheap token/coin like pundi x, storiqa and tron if you have less money and sell in november or december.
indeed, if etf is agreed, surely the price of all altcoins including bitcoin will go to the moon,
and bitcoin should not need it to go up

And you still hope for the ETF to get approve? I suggest, don't as you're just having this false hope after all.

BTC @100k USD newYear '19
For sure! or not?

Man, be realistic nor idealistic. We're just in $6500 and bitcoin is having its hard time to recover and even surpassing $10k is hard. So, your $100k is too absurd and you should be waking up now.

What do you reckon?
Shall we jsut take profits and leave now even if we lost 80% of gains but still in profit. Or shall we wait and risk to loose all?

FUCK!

This is a win or lose situation for everyone and for me there's no turning back.
The market had been fucked by many times but still rocks!   Cool
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to buy BTC in Canada on: September 14, 2018, 06:33:44 AM
Are there ANY Canadian exchanges that let you do this? Buying BTC with a credit card should NOT be this complicated. Somebody, please help!!!

Kindly use Coinbase, you can use either credit or debit card and you can buy with minimum of $150 or €150 per week. Though there will be a flat fee of $3.99 but it's still reasonable since you don't need to transfer again to your wallet.

Also, you can look at Coinmama, however the fee is insanely high than the others.

No it's not necessary. This is why the moderators are keeping their eyes in newbies as they always spam the forum by posting their social media reports plus their low quality posts. It's really sucking the forum, isn't it?

I'm glad that you think the other way, seems like you are  rare from newbies. Please keep that attitude.
92  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Next Rated Project on: September 14, 2018, 04:25:53 AM
How does one spot the next rated project??? the project may  still be undervalued at the momment but have a promising future. I cannot but always imagine if there is any performance metrics one can utilize in knowing which can eventually become which.... Thank You
There is no such thing.
You can do your personal ratings, some news website can do their ratings, its all only words not facts because its often impossible or extremely hard to attain knowledge that will allow you to do such rating. In most cases you dont have access to company/project insider info which would only tell you in reality that its worth it or not. Most that come out of companies/projects are marketing=lies.

Personally, I won't trust ratings since I've seen some icos that have high ratings but turned out scam then had my realization that ratings is just fooling us yet they earn nice money.

Nowadays, it's hard to spot a good one and with it look for a variable and rational product that can be a use to sustain the project. Also clear your mind from investing from too much hype icos. For an instance, if you can take a break for a while in icos, then do so.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how can i convert my tokens instead of buying and selling? on: September 12, 2018, 09:02:09 AM
is there a way to convert your tokens instead of buying and selling on an exchange constantly? i want instant liquidity.

Use bancor protocol, it have an instant liquidity and of course even it's a decentralized exchange it's made to maintain a high liquidity.

So first of, know if your coins are listed on bancor and if it's, make a deposit. Once you click the sell/buy button it will automatically process your transaction like you won't be needing to wait for your orders to be filled.

Go and create your account here.

94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dump, Dump, DUmp, what is future? on: September 12, 2018, 07:43:08 AM
This decline is very painful, where the average lot of people save ETH after bitcoin. If this stays like this, I am sure that the ETH will be abandoned by investors, and price will continue to fall.

Not really because the one who will leave are the one that noobs and don't have any real idea how the crypto space runs so even a minor or major correction they easily keep off their tails. And as they say, only the one who understands well the crypto will stay and get highly rewarded later on.

So yeah dump all your coins and surely you guys will certainly buying again when the price surge again. Definitely, buying high, selling low.
95  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you manage to get more followers on Twitter? on: September 12, 2018, 06:31:58 AM

Thank you for sharing sir, i also experienced difficulties to grow my followers,
so the key is be the first to break some great news, depends on what follower we want to get, if crypto so we must post something related to crypto ?
and the second key is using proper hastags, could you give me some example please ?

I'm not sure if this will help you, but what I did before is use the hashtag #followforfollowback100% when I'm tweeting nor retweet and surprisingly, I got a lot of followers that of course I immediately follow them back.
I also follow some icos, then follow their followers and got a good result.

Don't try to use bots as it can be easily detected.

is there any example specifically hastags do you use when posting some related crypto topic ?

I'll just use the crypto terminologies, nothing more specific nor special hashtags.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: What's Crypto innovation for you? on: September 12, 2018, 05:47:03 AM

How do you welcome the crypto innovation? How can you describe your experience here?

Using cryptos is quite overwhelming for me, since bitcoin boomed it revolutionize on how we do payments, no need to pay for taxes if you do remittance overseas plus hassle free payment system.

Though, its volatility is what hinders for someone to embrace bitcoin and afraid that in a second, they'll loss their investment but if they look bitcoin in more deeper way, they'll see that volatility isn't the one that hold it back but it rather the one that will give them a more decent profit.
97  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anyone give me some tips for sell bitcoin. on: September 12, 2018, 04:05:10 AM
Our Government ban bitcoin. A few years ago our country's central bank has been prohibited from buying and selling Bitcoin. I'm a Bounty Hunter and I've earned some Bitcoin and Ether all year round. I need money, so I want to sell my bitcoin. Then I can solve my financial problems.

How to sell my Bitcoin?

You can always sell here on Bitcointalk in Marketplace in Currency Exchange. A lot of people do that. But be sure to see person's trade history and Trust. Also i would highly recommend to use forum's ESCROW service. It might be a bit more expensive, but it’s always worth a risk.

Yeah, have an escrow service is definitely you must do. Since your government prohibits the use of bitcoin I assume they also banned the exchange sites or any related things about bitcoin, even you google it you can't find anything.

We have a lot of trusted escrow in the forum, feel free to post in service section and when you already find a buyer just hit a PM to our escrows. Don't worry about getting scammed, our escrows won't risk their name just for money, it's a small thing for them.Grin
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jobless No More on: September 11, 2018, 07:56:34 AM
~

When everyone knows about cryptocurrencies activities I think no more jobless people out there.

First of all, introducing crypto currency won't help people to be financially stable, and advising them just do bounty and they'll be fine. Then we will see a lot of noobs flock here and spam the forum with their mind boggling question, how do we earn here? and many more senseless questions.

If this kind of attitude will spread, this forum will be nothing and let's see if you can still earn.
Honestly, you better grow up and get yourself some real job, trust me.
99  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Difficulties (ups and downs) faced in trading? on: September 11, 2018, 06:31:43 AM
Before you start trading, better to know what do you prefer, short, mid or long term trading so you'll know what coin to buy. Hence, don't expect that return will be quick and anticipate rough roads along the way.

I would rather advice to invest altcoin and hold it for a couple of months. The cryptocurrency price for this year is not good to perform a day or short trading. Most of the time price move down and it takes several weeks to pump up with just a little amount of increase.

If you're a beginner, it's better to focus in buying more bitcoin and less than altcoins as the movement of altcoins are inconsistent and just living in hype nevertheless don't trust those hype.
100  Economy / Economics / Re: important point on: September 11, 2018, 05:30:32 AM
Yes, it's possible because bitcoin does have a positive impact on our economy, especially for the poor, but the bad impact is that money laundering is very easy, it will harm the country.
I think if bitcoin is received in every country it's a very good thing, and I believe that bitcoin, in particular, can reduce poverty when many people invest in bitcoin. But that can all happen if every country receives bitcoin.

Seriously? Poor people can't invest in bitcoin since obviously they're poor and don't mind to buy and they'll just focus on providing their daily needs. And do you think those people even heard the word bitcoin. Don't get me wrong, I'm not judging them but let's just realistic.

Adopting bitcoin doesn't have counter effect in our economy nor helping paying the debts since bitcoin isn't a legal tender so no matter what bitcoin position in the market it won't change any single thing.
