81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does Luna( Terra) worth to invest? on: January 29, 2022, 12:58:43 PM
I think luna is a very attractive asset for the long term, if you compare it with Solana, then Luna definitely wins...look at how many times over the past few months Solana has had problems with the network, Luna has no such misfires.
yes you are right, that is one of the advantages of LUNA. that's why terra(luna) is very worth investing in. Among other new networks, Terra has been one of the blockchain networks I have had my eye on for the past few months. the potential of this project is quite large considering the need for smart contracts continues to increase every year. making terra a profitable long term investment.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why people keep "investing" money in shit/memecoins? Genuine question. on: January 28, 2022, 10:20:15 AM
It is something that bugs me till today. Are they mostly newbies trying to find a path to enter cryptouniverse or experienced people who are just gambling to score a moonshot on luck?

This is the "meme" rank on coinmarketcap, there's millions on deflationary tokens with no effort from the "devs" at all. Just copy/paste a code, copy/paste a whitepaper, eventually pay few bucks for a domain and that's it.
Why people fall for that, yet?

everything starts from FOMO, fear of being left behind and not having knowledge in making decisions. in their minds it might be a second chance to make a profit. thought the projects would suffer the same fate as the earlier popular coins, but in reality they were all wrong decisions and cost him a fortune. I myself have been lazy to tell people like that, if one of my friends or family invests in a shit project, I will just watch it without giving any warning.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just saying on: January 28, 2022, 02:05:50 AM
In the future maybe 2025 the next big thing in crypto won't be what we've make lots of money from like the metaverse, Play2earn NFTS, they will be around but won't be the main focus, it might be web3.0 and other that's not even been acknowledged yet, just saying this because some people are already planning to pack many meme coins and other for the future your expectations might not come true

I don't know, no one knows about the future. metaverse, NFT, DeFi or web3.0 which will be popular in the future. too much speculation about what will happen next. One thing I believe in is to buy whatever I think is good and is currently falling. and wait until the next bull, so no matter what's going to be popular, I'll just fill my bag full of coins that I think are good.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING! ETH 2.0 is no more!!! on: January 27, 2022, 01:48:46 PM

Quote
"Henceforth, Eth1 will be known as the "execution layer" and Eth2 will be the "consensus layer." Whereas the execution layer is where all the smart contracts and network rules reside, the consensus layer makes sure all the devices contributing to the network are acting in line with the rules—and penalizing those that don't. Together, the two layers will merge into just plain ol' Ethereum after the consensus layer is ready to replace the current mining system."

so that means there is no new network?. this is just network upgrade by making it 2layer? so that means the speculation about ethereum 2.0 is over. ethereum 2.0 will never be released, and our long wait has been in vain.
85  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Institutional investors changing the Bitcoin price behaviour? on: January 27, 2022, 04:22:11 AM
Will Bitcoin still be a Safe haven when institutional money takes over the majority of the ownership of bitcoins and these people start to manipulate it in the same way that they are manipulating other markets?

Let's discuss.

This is what is feared, but many hope that bitcoin always finds new investors. to me this is like a dilemma, on the one hand we need institutional investors to make the market grow rapidly. on the other hand they have the possibility to manipulate the market.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why alt coins don't go up with bitcoin as much they go down with it? on: January 27, 2022, 02:31:11 AM
Ok I really wanted to understand this behaviour of alt coins when recently during this crash many alt coins were double digits down with bitcoin but when it is recovering a lot of them are hardly even moving. And this is really issue with alt coins why is there such behaviour?

because when it's altcoin/bitcoin down, people will sell it. and when they recover, they prefer a coin that has a higher upside potential, namely bitcoin. this is what keeps altcoins from moving or having little impact when it comes to market recovery. but when everything is normal, altcoins will also increase. and another reason is that at the start of the recovery, the market focus will only be on bitcoin. altcoins will not get the same attention as bitcoin, this is what hinders the recovery of some altcoins.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the highest gas fee you have ever paid? on: January 26, 2022, 10:31:43 AM
42$, that was the last time I used the ethereum network. that transaction was the last transaction I made to sell the ERC20 tokens I held. after that i never invest again in projects that use erc20 network. I prefer to use other networks such as BSC, Solana or Tron. this is better than dealing with unreasonable gas fees.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market is at the most oversold level on: January 26, 2022, 06:27:09 AM
oversold? yes we are currently in this situation. whether it will end, judging from the current chart which is green, maybe many think this situation is over. but I think it's not that easy to conclude. there are many possibilities such as bulltrap, fakesignal or others that can describe the current situation. and if that happens, oversold may continue to occur until the market finds the lowest bottom point later.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: There is fear in the market, isn't it time to buy? on: January 26, 2022, 03:29:02 AM
Now there is a fear of investors in the market. Bitcoin has lost over 50% of its ATH since its recent drop, the fear index hit 13, and even altcoins that have held up well on this downtrend like NEAR, LINK, LUNA, FTM have also lost value. Short positions increase Everyone is in a panic, many fix losses and sell....

Does this mean that we have felt the bottom and there will be a rebound soon? Is it time to buy?

never forget about bulltrap. thought it was already bottoming out, and rebounded for a while. then think the market started rallying again. Thinking like this only often results in losing. for the first time we better watch the news, and wait until it's really good. there are a lot of false signals to enter the market at this time, you can get caught up and wait longer for a return.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tell us about the best altcoin in the current situation. on: January 25, 2022, 03:05:33 PM
The market has been going downhill for some time now. In order to get the best return in such a situation, which altcoin should we invest in that gives us the maximum benefit?

a good coin is a coin with good fundamentals and has a strong community. you can see some big coins that have such criteria. but if talking about the current market, I suggest it is better to wait. investing at this point is a rash choice. the market has not shown a good sign, there could be another sudden decline. instead of buying on a dip, you're stuck in the worst situation. so patience is the best choice.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bull is back? on: January 25, 2022, 12:50:38 PM
I've seen a lot of alts on this day making green wherein seems the bearish is getting weaker. Perhaps if market keep showing the same thing for couple of days bull will gonna take over the market again in my personal opinion, because it's been how many weeks it's red and suddenly most of my favourites alts turn into green and gave me profits this day using scalping strategy.. What do you think guys is this the start of bullrun or just a sign that soon will be another season?

I doubt there are bulls. because the market is currently under pressure, and it is very difficult to recover. we've seen bitcoin down to 35k in just a few days. and followed by other big altcoins like eth, bnb, solana and others. it means the bull trend is not starting anytime soon. for the future maybe we will see market conditions worse than this, so prepare yourself.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Hold is Gold on: January 21, 2022, 02:24:23 AM
I Holded Doge for almost 6 months it doesn’t rise as much was expected,i shift to c98 it’s also on downfall ,cause the father of all the coins BTC is also in dip ,now i am on hold of the c98 and expecting for its Shine,i think luck matters alot in trading not only Good knowledge.

basically Hold it is a good choice, but sometimes times and circumstances are not favorable. so before choosing hold it is better to estimate the situation that will occur and how long it will last. and the way you choose is not right, you only think about hodl without thinking about other factors that can affect it. so make this a lesson for the future, and start analyzing everything before making a decision to hold, especially in the long term.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2022: Bullish or bearish for crypto? on: January 20, 2022, 10:42:58 AM
What do you think? Will 2022 be a bearish or bullish year for crypto? Why do you think it'll be that way? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley

for now I see no trend. sideways market and there is no sign that the market will move. I think new trends can be predicted when there is news. and currently there is no news to make the market move. but despite all that, my prediction is still the same which is most likely this year will be a bear year.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2022 be the year of ETH 2.0? on: January 19, 2022, 08:44:20 AM

Will it mark the end of alternative smart contract platforms for good? Will ETH gas fees decline massively after the upgrade? Or will everything else remain the same? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley
All of results from the upgrade still remain a speculation but im sure that this is not yet tested. Remember the the scalability is not yet fixed and it's still a speculation if ethereum 2.0 will be decreasing the fees a lot.

yes this is just speculation, but one thing is for sure in ethereum 2.0 there will be additional block capacity. this will increase the TPS many times over the current one. for the beginning I'm sure the GAS Fee will not be much different from today, but slowly it will go down by itself. and although this is not a long-term solution for scalability, but for now 2.0 is mandatory for the continuity of ethereum going forward.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do I feel as though I don't have enough knowledge of Crypto? on: January 19, 2022, 04:18:09 AM
My Crypto journey started about 4 years now, but I have been on and off due to fear, unbelieve and complacency. But I fully decided to take it serious towards mid last year. And I must confess, I am loving the experience and my regret is not starting much earlier when I had the opportunity.
I have learnt a couple of things about cryptocurrency from personal research online and also from this forum (btw, this forum has really been helpful). Despite what I think I know, sometimes, I still feel as though I know nothing.
I would really like to know more. If there's anyone willing to help out with where to get a thorough and extensive information about cryptocurrency in general, I will very much appreciate it.
M

Go to Google search and type in the keywords you want to search for. this is the fastest way to find out, a lot of detailed information has been spread on websites. you just have to find it yourself. and sometimes everyone also feels like you, thinking that you already have knowledge but it looks like there are still shortcomings. this is normal, we just need to learn more things.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it good to penalize airdrop hunters? on: January 18, 2022, 06:13:39 AM
Airdrops are a great way to attract people into newly-fond crypto projects. They're basically "free money" for not doing anything in return. Some projects have been widely successful after an airdrop, while others have gone all the way down the drain. There's been a upsurge of airdrop hunters looking to "milk rewards" from the system, effectively dumping all of their coins/tokens on the market for profit. While most projects have been quite flexible in the eligibility for an airdrop, one project decided to take the stand by adopting measures to prevent abuse. Parachain Swap's airdrop has been quite controversial as it only rewarded a small portion of its users. The vast majority of the people weren't rewarded (especially airdrop hunters), resulting in a decline of the token's price.

Do you think it's a good idea to penalize airdrop hunters? Will this do more harm or good to the adoption of crypto/Blockchain tech? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

actually airdrops do not really disturb the ecosystem of a coin. the problem here is that sometimes airdrop hunters cheat, they try to take as much profit as possible from airdrops. this is what gets a project into trouble, when it comes to dealing with such people.

is it worth punishing them? yeah it's really worth it. but the question is how?, finding the perpetrators of fraud is very difficult without a report. punish all airdops participants? it's not a solution, worse it will cause new problems like you said. the level of trust decreases and consequently the token price will fall.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A quick question!! on: January 17, 2022, 12:58:21 PM
Elon Musk influence on Dogecoins seems to have dropped, why ?

Perhaps it could be of the following reasons:

1. Crypto enthusiast are tired of Elon Musk
2. They know that Elon has his own narrative behind for pushing Doge
3. We are already in a bear market
4. Musk don't have any more influence to us, specially after his attack on bitcoin (about the effects of it on the environment)

Or maybe just the combination of any of those mention about. I think it will be good if the market is not going to be influence by anyone, not even the richest person in the world.

I think everything you say is true. the crypto community is tired of it and many of them are starting to distrust Elon Musk anymore. the more narratives he aims for his own sake, the more people think of him badly. sooner or later its influence for the crypto market will disappear completely.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether is centralized, is it worth holding on: January 14, 2022, 01:17:32 PM
no, not worth hold, but still good enough to use. If you want to hold, I recommend using DAI, because stablecoins are more decentralized than tether. tether is only good to use not to hold funds for long, I've had some issues with their users in the past. and I don't want you to be one of them.
99  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you think about owning and selling your content on social media? on: January 12, 2022, 10:01:46 AM
Does this appeal to you?
Please share your thoughts

what kind of content do you mean?
videos, articles, images or whatever it seems pretty good if there is such a platform. Selling social media content is interesting enough, but we have to be aware of a value. Such content basically has no selling point because it is private. so I thought it wouldn't work.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about FRX coins! 1 FRX : 1 TRX... LOL! on: January 11, 2022, 12:01:34 PM
I know little about this project. This project uses smart contracts in the tron network which makes it less popular. and their token sale is very long, even though they have reached softcap. This is what I don't understand, they seem to want to raise a lot of funds before entering the market. and most recently they released a bounty campaign. with the aim of promoting their coins listed on one of the exchanges. when viewed this project is not worth investing in. too many coins circulating from the bounty campaign, and have few fans. this is very detrimental to their early investors. if anyone believes what the development team says 1FRX = 1TRX, I think they are too stupid. even beginners will realize that it is not possible.
