81  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is It Serious, I Started To Worry...... on: March 25, 2018, 11:07:43 AM
This issue is common to beginners in the bitcoin industry, And I won't blame you. A lot of us here started just like you. But to tell you this, the price drops are normal and are nothing to be scared or to be anxious of. The price drops would stop in a month or two, then it will rise again, just hold on to your bitcoins and wait.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do We Need Social Media Promotion on: March 25, 2018, 12:33:54 AM
Social media advertisement is a good platform of advertisement since it is cost-efficient and covers a huge amount of tge population. I think it would be a good way of promoting bitcoin because of a lot of benefits but not to the point that it is essential to bitcoin's growth and development. There are other convenient ways of promoting bitcoin that also is cost-efficient.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a mode of payment on: March 24, 2018, 07:48:02 AM
Supposing bitcoin becomes a currency, one could definitely say that bitcoin-based transactions would be faster, efficient, and hassle-free unlike the conventional money transaction we are currently accustomed to. More than being innovative, there are a lot of other benefits from using bitcoin as a mode of payment such as decentralized money remittance therefore no more time consuming stuffs and mkre.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the biggest disadvantage of bitcoin ? on: March 24, 2018, 03:58:08 AM
For me, the biggest downside of bitcoin investment is the fact that the valye is highly unstable making the value fluctuate at very high rates and the price to be very unpredictable. A lot of losses in the bitcoin industry could be creditted to bitcoin's unstable value which is caused by uts high volatility rate. Moreover, the price fluctuations are so high, it could go from 0-100 or 100-0 really quick.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy when market is Red on: March 23, 2018, 11:52:17 AM
I definitely agree to this. This trick is often done by successful traders known as "dip buying" or "discount buying". It is done when the market is red and bitcoin is at its lowest of prices. This way investors could buy bitcoins at the lowest price and you could expect a price increase because of the fact that buying bitcoins have a positive effect on the price.
86  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term vs. short term investing on: March 23, 2018, 10:22:28 AM
For me it is more advantageous to invest on the long-term than swing investing. The profits are much better abd higher when you invest long-term than short-term. Moreover, the short-term investors are often the ones that would sell their investments at the sight of a price drops therefore putting themselves and bitcoin in a disadvantageous state. So it is very optimal for both the investor and bitcoin itself if you would long-term invest.
87  Economy / Economics / Re: Selling Bitcoin = Opportunity loss?! on: March 23, 2018, 08:46:34 AM
This is true at so many levels. If uou sell your bitcoin investments during a price drop you are putting bitcoin and yourself in a very disadvantageous situation. You are putting yourself out of the opportunities for increases, and you are placing bitcoin in a dangerous position where it is hindered of the ability to recover from its losses as well as increases.
88  Economy / Economics / Re: Will you tech me please, What is ICO? on: March 23, 2018, 01:40:15 AM
ICO in accordance to all my knowledges are entities that sell their own renditions od cryptocurrencies even before they became known in the market. With this they could fund their project to further develop it and then it could potentially increase their user base. It's counter intuitive if I do say so myself. But there are also fake ICOs that scams you so beware.
89  Economy / Economics / Re: Is an economy without physical money safe for the poorest? on: March 22, 2018, 12:55:55 AM
Provided that the users have at least good amount of knowledge about digital currency most especially bitcoin itself, there wouldn't be much of a problem even for the homeless. i'm sure that when the future for bitcoin comes it would be a basic necessity for all people to have the technology where they can regulate their virtual money. And I'm sure the government would provide it for the people themselves.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin worth risking your time and money? on: March 22, 2018, 12:15:14 AM
Yes it is. Sure the price drops are aggravating and sometimes demotivating, but if we put into account how many times bitcoin had helped me by providing high profits when I need it, it's hard to give up and sell your investments. Moreover, the fact that bitcoin offers promising future for the currency world makes me want to stay and support it until it happens
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: March 21, 2018, 09:17:29 PM
It is true that bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies out tgere are sometimes used for criminal activities because if the anonymity feature it provides its users as well as its value in the market, but so is conventional currency. We can't say without further investigations that it is indeed cryotocurrencies that are causing the sudden rise in the amount of criminality.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin important on: March 20, 2018, 04:35:55 PM
Bitcoin serves a significant purpose for us that are in need of high profits in a short amount of time. Moreover, Bitcoin also serves a bright future for the revolutionizing of the conventional currency we knew and were accustomed today. Bitcoin is important because it fills a niche that no other existing investment in the market could fill. And that is my reasons for believeing that bitcoin isindded important.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what are the common challenges for bitcoin user? on: March 20, 2018, 01:14:36 PM
The common challenges I face as a bitcoin investor is tge stereotyping of people towards me. They think that because it came from the internet, I'm already an online scammer. They think that because bitcoin's value is unstable, it wouldn't have a future. Apart from this however, the things that makes me scratch my head the most is bitcoin's unstable value. It makes it hard for me to pick a time for me to reap what I earned.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the advantages of having Bitcoin? on: March 19, 2018, 05:40:48 PM
Bitcoin as we all know is one of the most anticipated and most sought out investments in the investment world up to date. The demabd for bitcoins as of now is still comparably high than the existing competitors of bitcoin in the investment world. More than the hype, the amount of profit one can get from investing in bitcoin is not somethimg to laugh at it is very profitable considering the short time you would spend.
95  Economy / Economics / Re: Why decentralized money system is needed on: March 16, 2018, 11:34:54 PM
Decentralized currency offers huge potential not only in the economic standard but political as well. As we all know, most countries are not unified and are still at war with each other. With the introduction of an international currency, there is a chance this long sought-out unification between countries of the world could be a reality since they all would have tp agree to use the international currency.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable on: March 16, 2018, 10:46:06 PM
We all know bitcoin is still young and at its early stages as a currency. The ten years it had existed is nothing compared to how long a lot of modern day currencies have been in. In addition to the fact that its value is speculative. There's no doubt that bitcoin would have a high volatility rate and a very unstable price. It still too early to claim allegations especially with bitcoin that already proven a lot of critics wrong.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trade with alt ? on: March 15, 2018, 09:26:35 AM
There are a few altcoins suitable for trading like Ethereum, Ripple and few others. Bitcoin is also good for trading. Only is that because as of now, trading alts is more popular abd widely used than trading bitcoins. But as what I have said earlier; bitcoin is still a viable coin for trading. Altcoins are as well, just choose the ones that give a  good price curve so you won't have to fear losses.
98  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think cryptocurrencies have the potential to overtake regular currencies? on: March 15, 2018, 12:20:10 AM
It could. As of now, many bitcoin enthusiast would agree to me when I say bitcoin could revolutionize the conventional currency we are using today. The technology behind cryptocurrencies holds a very high potential and a promising future altogether. Therefore making it suitable for changing the nature of fiat money we use today.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is holding bitcoin Greedy? on: March 13, 2018, 11:10:40 PM
Not really. It's the best thing you can do inatead of panic selling actually. People save money. People keep their money, for future use. That I think is not greediness. That is prudence I can confirm. That is a good characteristic of what a good bitcoin investor should be. We need more if of people like you who would rather choose to help bitcoin price get back on its feet firdt before thinking of themselves instead of the people who loses their minds at the sight of a price dip.
100  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese New Year - Effect On Crypto on: March 12, 2018, 10:44:41 PM
A lot of chinese bitcoin enthusiasts or even those who just celebrates Chinese New Year and have invested on cryptocurrency cashed out their tokens amd converted them into fiat to buy things and foods for the chinese new year. Resulting to a drop in value last February. However, since there are more people supporting and actively engaging in the bitcoin industry we didn't felt the impact that much.
