Anyone Visited Scrypt Asic International?

They say that there is a Scrypt ASIC coming.   I wonder what size die that they are using?  what is the size of the chip technology in nm.  can anyone answer that?

You may or you will?  Smiley

They have quite a variety of currencies covered...

I will,  But I said may, because I don't know how to see who entered the referral.  So, I depend on private messages  If you don't Send me a pm on here right after my referral count increases, then I cant know who to send coin to.

If there is a way to see which user entered the Referral Link on Cryptsy,  then Let me know here.

Take a look at this as well

I've seen this as well, but I am not too worried about it.  In fact, it may be a sign of quality code, just that the execution engine is running a little behind.

Also,  Seriously...  put my referral in!   (see link above).   Also pm me when you do it.

Thanks!

Yeah,  It is slow sometimes.. It really needs to get faster.  it takes me 3 tries sometimes to do something...  I am starting to not like it, just because it is slow.

Also, Someone added me as a referrer.   Is there anyway that I can see who it was?

Why is hashcows mining csc?

Wow, this is crazy!

i'm not sure if I like it yet.

Add me as your referral because If you do, I may send you some Alt Coins...

Why fix the difficulty? It is fine.  Give it another few months to settle out and then when the block reward is constant and small, the coin will stabalize. Let it run its course.  Then this coin can be used for any kind of programmatic testing to anyone's heart's content.  I personally don't mind waiting for transactions to go through now.

%% Edit.

So that was my first thought, but then I realized say later down the road, someone may just for spite dump a lot of hashpower at this just to lock the chain up.

So, I do have some problems with my klondikes...  Sometimes one or two will freeze up and go to 0.0000 hashrate.

I have two K-16's that sometimes freeze up, and then upon restart, will not work, until they have been placed outside in the freezing cold for a while until they get very cold.  Then they will run fine for a day or two, then freeze up.

Also, I have 2 K-16's that will just simply just throw a bunch of hardware errors, no matter what I do. I'm going to check voltages soon.
89  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: November 11, 2013, 02:56:12 PM

Mine did that once when I was in the process of setting them up.  Power cycling fixed the problem and I haven't had it happen again.  They can be a pain getting to run some times.  Any time I stop mining on them I have to power cycle and reconnect the fans or I just get connection errors.

Chad

Yep, any time a unit just spits HW errors upon starting, I disconnect its power cable and let it sit for a couple minutes.  When I reconnect it (and dis/reconnect fan), it hashes just fine.  This can be done without restarting cgminer, so if you have other units, they can hash away during the waiting period.  It probably happens 5-10% of the time, but only at the outset of a mining session; long mining uptime is key to minimizing this extra effort.

Cycling the power and reconnecting the fans as well as doing all this after restarting cgminer doesn't work for me.

I have 7 on a machine, maybe there is a driver limit to how many I can connect?  I'm going to try and just plug up the ones that have 100% hardware errors...

So, are the bitcoin transaction fees (or a precentage of them) paid to the miners?  and if so,  how does this work in detail?
91  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: November 11, 2013, 04:18:32 AM
SO, what would be the cause of the K16 only putting out hardware errors?

I have a couple like that.  Any ideas?

"%s%i:%d went idle before work was sent"

I am seeing a lot of this message and was wondering if it would be worth it to recompile with better parameters, if the hash rate would be affected.

Basically the way that I understand it, is that the pending work buffers on the klondike were empty when new work was sent to the Klondike.  So essentially the K16 was either busy working on the last work sent, or was sitting idle waiting for new work.
93  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike K16 build - USB and power connections on: November 10, 2013, 05:09:13 AM
Hmmm....   So, I wonder if that will help out my hash rate.

I also am wondering if there is a limit on how many K16's that I am able to hook up to a computer.
94  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike K16 build - USB and power connections on: November 10, 2013, 12:30:42 AM
I set up Using cgminer 3.7.2 on windows, and am connected to the Eligius Pool.  everything is working fine for me, but I do get a lot of went idle before work was sent messages.  I also made a .conf file and am using the cgminer-nogpu.exe
95  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: K16 Klondike not getting optimal speeds on: November 09, 2013, 08:39:47 AM
what does "went idle before work was sent" mean?
96  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike K16 build - USB and power connections on: November 09, 2013, 06:35:09 AM
So the Fan connector needs to have the little flanges facing away from the heatsink.  It doesn't look like it hurts anything to hook it up backwards.

BTW, the DIY KIT is very professional and it is QUALITY, and so much attention to detail.  Fans are silent, Thermal grease is just the right amount in a syringe,  there is a PCI Y power cable that hooks to each board and a extension that goes to the power supply.
97  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike K16 build - USB and power connections on: November 09, 2013, 03:38:11 AM
what about the Fan Connector, which way does it go on the pins, or does it matter?

I am confused as to why I cannot find this simple information...   Is this listed somewhere?

98  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike K16 build - USB and power connections on: November 09, 2013, 02:42:05 AM
Yes, I think that you are right... I've attached the heatsink with the short screws and spring, and placed the washer between the spring and PCB.  I wonder how much to torque?

SO, now I am in need of setting up a cgminer .conf file.
99  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: November 09, 2013, 02:03:49 AM
can anyone answer my questions here:

What are the springs and the white washers for?

What is a valid cgminer .conf file for these k16's and what does the parameters mean?

Ok, so I am lost as to what the Spring and the white washer is for?   Any build pics or videos?
