83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Other ways of earning on: September 08, 2017, 10:18:30 PM
Trading on crypo exchange could be a form of earning...

there are several undervalued altcoins or token that have a promising future and are still little priced...

so if you buy some now, in near future they could rise their price and so you can sell them and earn bitcoins
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: September 08, 2017, 10:07:36 PM
yes maybe  Shocked

but you should admit that among ICO, altcoin, hard fork, soft fork, POS, POW, and so on.... there is a lot of understanding arond cryptos. and this could really create a little confusion among medium people...

85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: September 08, 2017, 10:01:22 PM

The critical point is that Bitcoin is a complex technology and many and many people, even after more than eight years following its release, still don’t understand it.

They don’t understand its mechanism and nor implications on a political or social level.

Many people are also confused as to why the price of bitcoin fluctuates.

This confusion causes people to be immediately turned off or intimidated to the point of rejecting bitcoin altogether.

Even Warren Buffett famously advised never to invest in anything that we don’t understand.

So IMHO the point is to evangelize people to understand better bitcoin, only with this solution bitcoin will be widely spread throughout the world and in all the social states of the population
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: September 08, 2017, 09:52:37 PM

uhmmm ... Understanding of Bitcoin’s mechanics makes even smart people feel dumb!!! Trust me!

Try for example to explain to medium Joe what weird shit is happening out there, with the fork of bitcoin and the creation from nothing of a mutated clone of itself called Bitcoin Cash.

greed of people will do the rest?Huh

uhmmm maybe yes, but the people who are betting their money on cryptocurrency aren’t really understanding in what they are putting their money.... IMHO they are nostalgic of dawn of the internet era and of the early 1990 tech bubble... hoping that it will repeat itself with Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the rest of the cryptocurrency.

But the spirit of early 1990 may not console investors facing losses they can’t even understand.

When events like last hard fork remind people just how little they comprehend when it comes to how Bitcoin actually works, Bitcoin doesn’t have a lot to fall back on

87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: September 08, 2017, 09:21:33 PM
Unfortunately bitcoin is still little known among ordinary people, that is, among those people who do not know much about computer science, and that using PCs just for facebook and email ... many still tie bitcoin to dark web, delinquency and hackers who ask for ransom...

there is still a long way to go unfortunately...

One solution for China Exchange could be a decentralized exchange... or not? Built on top of NEo???

90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Minexcoin - A new era of payments (ICO closed!) on: August 15, 2017, 03:56:15 PM
Hello MinexCoin Community!

We cannot launch at exchange until we are absolutely sure that all coins are fully distributed among the ICO investors, Bounty participants and testers.

We must ensure that each participant of ICO, Bounty or testing received their coins. Whilst being interested in launching to the exchange as much as you are, we also cannot tolerate any kind of discrimination of even one single participant of Bounty or ICO campaigns. This is because after we launch in the exchange, participants who have already received their coins will find themselves in a much more advantageous situation than those whose applications have not been processed for various reasons.

There is an option for over-the-counter exchange and private offers under Marketplace topic in Bitcointalk or any other forums for those who have received their coins here. You can try these in case you do not have will or opportunity to wait until the exchange launch.

So does this mean we HAVE to withdraw our Bounty/ICO coins from your web portal? I was just planning on leaving them on the portal until we hit the exchanges, and then moving them to the exchange directly (even though it may take a while as it will still have to be approved manually). Not too worried about being 'disadvantaged' by doing so.

The transfer of coin from the portal it takes a while, so in my point of view the best choice is to request the transfer and have the total control of your coin... so you can immediately send those to an exchange and not lost the right moment

Yesterday I've made a request for my bounty coin

How much time does it takes before I can see the coin in my wallet??

What the name of coin?
Can u tell me please

Are just suppositions.

There is still nothing like this at the moment.

94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hearing of a new coin to replace Ethereum on: June 19, 2017, 08:16:13 PM
But if there will be a fusion between two major coins, instead of replacement?

Why we can't consider in next future that, for example, Bitcoin and Ethereum will do a fusion and make one new strongest and smartest platform??

The two devs team will work together to unify the strongest part of the two coin....

fantasy?Huh may be

no bad idea....

There are actually too many coins around, too many platforms that could promise good but which are little known or supported ...

The single user often fails to stay behind all of them and is likely to underestimate the coin that could promise good, choosing to invest instead in one that has no future or worse then turns out to be a scam

It would be nice that the best developers would join in to give the good old bitcoin a nice renewal and new lifeblood ...

But for now I know it's just utopia
95  Economy / Speculation / Re: This could be the bitcoin bears nightmare! on: December 09, 2014, 03:53:08 PM
About the real intrinsic value of 1 BTC, the question is:

How Much Money Is There on Earth?

considering the M3 aggregate, that includes physical money, paper bills, metal coins, checking accounts, savings accounts, institutional money market funds and long term deposits, the answer is $75 trillion, at today 2014. (source: http://gizmodo.com/5995301/how-much-money-is-there-on-earth)

We all know that the total number of bitcoin can never exceed 21,000,000.

So if we do de math, assuming (very) hypothetically that all the money of the world will be converted in BTC, we will have

75,000,000,000,000 /
            21,000,000 =
____________________
$ 3,571,428  for  BTC

1 BTC = 3,5 million dollar!!!!

We all know that 1 BTC = 100,000,000 base units, friendly called "satoshis". This means that 1 satoshi =  $ 0,0357

I know, this is a very asymptotic scenario that never come true, but if we assume that only 10% of the total money supply will be converted in Bitcoin, we should have realistically:

1BTC = $ 357,142

I know, these calculations are very simplistic and do not include all the many factors that exist in determining the value of the exchange rate between two currencies, but I think they make, simply, the idea of the value that bitcoin might have if his concept becomes widespread capillary and in a stable manner worldwide.

My 2 cent,  Wink
