81  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the government really scary? on: June 21, 2018, 12:23:35 PM
In my opinion. It depends on the government itself. It may be determined by what kind of government or how it acts as a government. A country may either be defined by the countrymen or the government.
I think a harmonious communication and organized way of living will likely to happen if two groups will benefit from each other fairly.
If one gets greedy then both parties will explode like bombs.

OK - lets be positive here, and look at a couple of your posts.

Yes! because if you are negative thinking you cannot success and the only things you can say is I quit so, you cannot reach your goal in that way so, being positive thinking is making your future better what you are now.
So - Think positively, improve your English, learn from the forum, and earn your promotion.
I think Bitcoin is the most risky than real investment because bitcoin is digital currency and I think there is no person can control the bitcoin world and its not easy to review  and to see the bitcoin transaction because its digital.
That post is not only written in bad English, but it shows that you haven't even tried to understand the basics of Bitcoin, digital currencies, and crypto. The danger in thatr type of post is that it spreads misunderstanding of Bitcoin, and I think it should have been deleted.

I agree. Be determined to improve yourself and you'll get what you deserve.

Thank boss, I try my best to improve many things in my self specially my capacity to speak in English. Thanks for your advice I really  appreciate this.

Mate, try to avoid using Sir, Boss or any Words like related to that. They don't like it that much.
I came around here with the same attitude and behavior and when I saw a thread about that and changed my perception about that use of respect here. Using such words is not at all wrong but others may have other feelings about it. Sometimes or most of the time is sarcasm.
I will update this post of mine when I searched it.

Edited: I just noticed that The Pharmacist and hilariousetc already pointed that already.

86  Other / Meta / Re: ANATOMY OF SCAMS on: June 17, 2018, 11:29:35 PM
Yeah. That is one great thing to share mate. I have been scammed once and never repeated that stupidity. I will keep an eye on this and great work. I hope many will be guided when it comes to ICOs.
I regret not having background checks before joining ICOs before. It is hard to trust anyone especially when anonymity is a opportunity for everyone here. Better be that observant or suffer the consequences.

Nice topic, well thought out.

I would change the title to ICO scams though.

~snip~

I second to this.  Grin
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin price can be manipulate by the others? on: June 17, 2018, 11:16:09 PM
I think it is not possible.
If a person has less than 1% of the total bitcoin in the circulation, then it is not possible to manipulate the market. But is a group of people holds about 10-30% of the total BTC, then movement can be affected very much.
The fact every user can be a factor will not make make a common mistake at the same time.
Not unless a multi billionaire dumps and buys for his own profits. That will be chaos.

#1 Realize that you don't actually lose anything until you actually sell at a loss.  So you go outside, ride a bike, read a book, resist the urge to check coinmarketcap and just hodl.

This is a great advice for everyone because this is TRUE. HOLD and leave it for a while and distract yourself.
I usually find more things to do to earn.

#2 Come onto bitcointalk and whine and cry and find out what to do with your life.  When no one gives you clarity or direction, panic sell and lose your life savings.

I think it is good to be in a forum to share your thoughts but never cry or whine because you might cause panic selling too.
You can have ask advises for clarity and do not mind FUDs and False news. It can be harder for you.

I always think that losses can be avoided with good decision making. Build yourself with knowledge and face everything with it as a sword.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what price will you panic and start selling coins? on: June 17, 2018, 01:37:48 PM
Panic selling is a parasympathetic behavior wherein you do not know that you are already panicking or if you are aware you can not hold your emotions that longer.
I think it is unpredictable when you will feel this urge to sell your coins.
I sell my coins when I need to and no regrets afterwards. When I spend for primary needs such as foods, I definitely think that it is worth spending for.

Maganda gawa mo kaibigan. Proud kababayan.
Good luck sayo.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is blockchain is a never ending process? on: June 15, 2018, 11:44:31 PM
We could say it that way. Ending process in the sense that market is controlled by investors and once they sold a lot, it will fall greatly and somehow, people will go back to zero and wait again.
Not unless someone throws away millions of btc to be lost forever so that prices will not drop to Zero.

If you are talking about transactions, I think it will have a limit like what happened before with the scaling problem. BTC and other crypto coins are still not adapted worldwide and we can still expect problems in the near future.
92  Economy / Speculation / Re: BIG HOPE FOR BITCOIN on: June 15, 2018, 02:44:36 PM
Do not encourage anyone who's not willing to invest especially if they have no knowledge about cryptocurrencies.
What you call upward and downward is called volatility and that is normal with digital currency. Hope you learn more and please do have cautions in investing especially to alts. There are already popular alts around that seems to be successful already, if you want cheaper, better be a good researcher before investing in them. Not all are true but scam.

95  Economy / Speculation / Re: 800 Days Left before BTC Raise Again on: June 11, 2018, 08:31:50 PM
I doubt it will be take another 800 days as It's very likely with LN being on active development, a lot of services starting to accept bitcoin and more people are being exposed to bitcoin.

A lot of people will come out, talk and predict a price increase/decrease but the sad truth is that no one knows. If you're true a believer in the technology and you're not really in need (like going to starve to death)e, you will hold but If you're just here for the money, the first thing you will do is panic sell.

I agree.
That is why I do not force people to invest, especially those who I know needs money to support their family. I would prefer them to find a job than to suffer dips and let them wait until it rise again and starve to death.
I think those who can hold are those who have enough money on their pockets and could wait and hold their investments for a long time.

Well, 800 days seems to be unreliable to me. Still I think that no one can figure out the market now. Unlike before that patterns are somehow reliable and effective.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin not used in medical billing? on: June 11, 2018, 08:08:25 PM
I support this kind of involvement of technology to health. I was actually waiting for such idea but all we can do is wait until the government settle things out. I think cryptocurrencies are only focused on economics, trading and earning. I am hoping for a broader perception of the fast transactions. It would be really great to see this technology be involved in medical area.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of crypto on: June 11, 2018, 07:44:07 PM
It is unpredictable, becoming more unpredictable and I think with no longer pattern to be observed, investments become more at risk and with a single wrong move, investments could be taken away from the investor himself in a blink of an eye.
But I think, government will still be on its way to have a strong hold on it. I just don't know how investors and average users will stay long with this kind of situation- unpredictable market, too much dips than growth, high fees and regulation, taxes in the future.
I just hope that the innovation of cryptocurrencies have an impact to people and not just the money it brings. Otherwise, it is useless.
98  Economy / Economics / Re: What profit has brought you to bitcoin? on: June 11, 2018, 01:44:13 PM
I was new in the year 2017 and when I first got my first payments in BTC I was already excited to cash it out even though the amount is small. It was about 2,500 dollars per bitcoin by that time and I was also regretful when I did not save much until it doubled and tripled and certainly hit the highest point it can get. Yup, it hurts but still thankful I experienced and encountered that highlight for BTC. It was very unexpected.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why shouldn’t we be concerned? on: June 11, 2018, 12:43:46 PM
Because Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies are naturally volatile. Drastic movements can always be expected since everything moves depending on the total investment.
Being concern is everybody's job but we should all be informed that the nature of cryptocurrencies also involves the movements. It will be up to you if you will be leaving to cut your losses or put up a strong hands until crypto proves something in the society. Be patient man.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Successful ICO Experiences on: June 10, 2018, 11:26:17 PM
I see many people asking for opinions about ICO investments, if they are good, profitable or not and I see many people replying it can be good or not, you must have knowledge to choose a legit ICO, to find out who are the developers...

But I would like to hear successful stories about people who invested in ICOs and made profit. Please, tell what ICOs you invested and how much profit you made, if you liked it and if you still look for this kind of investment.

You are contradicting your own statement man. I could tell you what ICOs me and my resourceful friend are looking at right now but, i strongly suggest you to search for it yourself. Get your own hands dirty. Be more resourceful. If you get used to this actions, then you will surely succeed in the crypto world. But if you always rely on others.you will most likely fail here. So take my advice and do the searching yourself. It ain't for anybody else but kust you. So always give your best with that.

Hope this helps.
He is not contradicting himself, he is asking for people to post about positive experiences with their investment in icos, he is not asking for advice in what ico he should invest, the only thing I do not agree with the op is to reveal how much profits you got out of it because if the profits are big you could become a target for hackers and scammers trying to get your money.

I agree that he is not contradicting himself and just curious I guess how many people got paid ICOs since there are too many false and fake news all over the news. We could not also say how many ICOs are scam and how many people have been scammed and just happened to stay quite and move on about it. Yes people do chase after the culprit but hey, they are just another random people which at some point you put yourself in blame because you trusted them.

I think that is  the reason why he is asking who got lucky in ICOs.

I haven't got into ICOs since they ran away without giving incentives.
I wish I could see some successful ones too.
