The best alt coins that i can think of are probably Ripple, Litecoin, Ethereum, and Monero. Also now that the market has fallen off a little bit its a great opportunity to join in and start increasing your stock pile of coins.

I don't think the Bitcoin dominance will go as high as it did in the previous cycles. I can actually see it coming down further and further each cycle as the alts slowly wrestle market cap from Bitcoin.

This seems ridiculous. Addicted to crypto. Your also addicted to food, water, electric and your cell phone. Don't let these aholes tell you that crypto is some odd addiction that needs medicine and doctors to solve. This is getting strange now.

You may be able to find some good used equipment and start off that way (low risk). I have been looking at trading for some time and cannot make any sense of it where I would feel comfortable making a living at it. So I would choose mining.

i have observed that terms like "cryptocurrency", "blockchain", and "alts" is not an english word because it is not included in the english dictionary though it is cliche in our cryptoworld, i think it is high time to include it in the dictionary for further acceptance of the public and increase its popularity do you agree?
I agree. As time goes on and cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology is accepted more and more I think you will see these words added to the dictionary. It's very important for the people to understand the lingo before they get involved.

I hold about 200 coins that are worthless POS airdrop coins with 0 value. In that horrible mix are also coins who did 24 hr to swap scams as well.
I then hold Waves, Litecoin, NEO and of course Bitcoin.

For my top 3 cryptos for 2018 I have Bitcoin, Ethereum and IOTA. I think the top ten will remain in tack for the remainder of this year and enjoy most of the gains.

I try to sell my coins when I think they are high and put them into Bitcoin. If you get the timing right you can end up with your original coins + some Bitcoin. I'm attempting to do that over and over again to gain wealth. So far I suck at it. Hopefully I can perfect a strategy over time.

Ben Bernake said the same thing about gold as well. Called it an old relic! IF the FED is telling you something is worthless, bad or scary buy as much as you can. If they tell you its a great thing to do then don't do it. This is an easy one.

As long as you have your private keys stored securely and do not let any one have access to them you should be good. Could you imagine if you could gain access to someones wallet by sending them a coin. Yikes!

Big Daddy is in firm control of the crypto market. Maybe one day this will change but I don't think its wise to fight the trend right now. Be ready to jump off Bitcoin and into alts at the precise moment. Then back on after the super spike.

I have been homeschooling my kids since birth. I'm teaching them office jobs are slavery and we are currently coining, bounty hunting and farming on the side. I was in the system for about 15 years. No way they are getting my kids.

I ask you to please stop participating and sending in your personal documents to participate in airdrops/bounties/ICO's requiring KYC. We have an amazing technology that is being presented to us but under the wrong circumstances can be used against us. If the governments attach us to our blockchain address you will now have every transaction being monitored by the authorities. Even buying a cup of lemon aid from the neighborhood kid will be taxed. This will usher in the next era of enslavement as we will be tax donkeys for the elite.
This is in addition to the fact that once you scan and send your documents online they are forever waiting for the next hacker to come along and assume your identity.
If you don't want to say no to KYC for yourself do it for the rest of us. Sending in documentation entire defeats the purpose of crypto.

I have seen articles where people who have sent in KYC Documents to a scam ICO and had their identity stolen. You have to be very brave to send in documents like that. Then you have to worry about where those documents go to be stored. Identity could be stolen at anytime. No thanks to KYC projects.

This is a great idea for an ICO. If there was a project you could truly trust it may be a good way for the newbie to protect themselves against rookie mistakes. I'm sure we will see this pop up somewhere along the line.

The free market will churn and churn until it finds a balance. I think more time is what is necessary to even out this problem your talking about. Also as the technology becomes stronger the knowledge to enter will become steeper thus slowing things down a bit as well.

I would advise to stay away from DOGE. It is a classic and has its rightful place in crypto history, however I think with all the new opportunities and advancements that have been made that DOGE coins best days are behind it.

I usually sell my alt coins when I get the feeling the market is topping out. In the past I have moved it to Bitcoin however I may attempted to utilize Tether if we have another huge pump that needs to cool off a bit before it can run again. Not 100% sure on Tether though.

I kinda of agree with the long term holds being a legend of sorts. The world seems much more fast paces than it did in say the 90's. We may have to remain more nimble in the future as we become more connected and wired into a great big technological society.

The market has fallen so much I would think the correct answer is to buy at this point. I'm not sure how much downside is really left. I recently went all in on alt coins when the market hit 249 billion. Probably shoulda stayed in Bitcoin for its initial bounce.
