81  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin the best one to invest in? Or am i too late? :( on: April 29, 2021, 06:38:57 AM
OP if you would buy for long term then I think there isn't a late entry at all.
But some would suggest to wait for the price to drop down and for me if you really want to invest why wait?
What if the price wouldn't drop down and it continue to grow?
Then you would never enter the market?
But DYOR OP it is just my opinion and how I do it.

Well based on our own research everybody was expecting for a bearish trend to come in cryptomarket. Actually for me it is not too late to invest in bitcoin, maybe some sort of being late but not too much because as I've said we are expecting for a bear market and I guess the bullish trend of bitcoin today was enough to justify why is it late to invest however if you have the ability to invest in bitcoin and can afford to avail the bitcoins $54k price then why not right. Maybe some price correction may take place again for some other time.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If I die can someone achieve my btc. on: April 28, 2021, 07:10:53 PM
If you have a guy of your own or you have a girlfriend, he will be able to use your bitcoin if you give him all the bitcoin devices you left in the moment before he dies.  Also, if you leave all your documents in a notebook, then of course someone can recover them.

So what I have realized here was it is bwtter that you have someone that you are trusted like friends and most especially your family memeber that could understand more about bitcoin and cryptocurrency and shared your passwords, the keys or private accounts so even if some unexpected accidents happen the bitcoin that you have earned will be left on someone you loved.

I went to market with my wife to buy things for our new born baby, after my wife selected baby things that Worth thousands and I paid with my btc,the transaction was very easy and faster. When  we returned home ,she asked if you die can I achieved your btc or continued with your account? Because it's very easy and faster in trading and transaction.

I love the thought that we can now enjoy the service of paying your groceries over the counter and without the worries of needing to convert your bitcoin into fiat right.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Musk doesn't tweet Dogecoin, can it still soar? on: April 28, 2021, 04:35:39 PM
I dont think so. because we can see that from the beginning many people thought this doge was a joke. But everything changed when a billionaire who in this case we all know, namely Elon Musk made a tweet which I can say was very shocking because with just one tweet at that time Doge immediately sped away, I felt like I would finish but Elon again made a tweet and along with the tweet, doge until today the price has shot the most, the origin of the meme coin is now starting to be discussed.
But if at that time Elon didn't make a big splash with his tweets I don't think Doge would be what it is today

Doge was already a token, a cryptocurrency before Elon Musk came into picture and shill it on his tweets. However, can't deny that Elon Musk did a huge part to introduce Dogecoin into the community and make a spot on the market.
So technically as of the moment, I do believe that the large part of soaring of Doge was mostly because of Elon Musk. If it isn't about him, I don't think so where Doge was in the market now.
84  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anybody here sell their Gold to buy Bitcoin? on: April 28, 2021, 02:15:03 PM

I personally tend to hold both gold and bitcoin. but honestly, the capital that I use to invest in bitcoin is smaller than the capital for investing in gold, which is about 30% of the total capital I have. I know in crypto even though it gives a big return, it also has a big risk

It is a previlege for having both Gold and Bitcoin at the same time especially today where having or owning a gold was very rare and due to limited supply and high demand of it everyone was dreaming to have gold, well at the same time bitcoin was now serve as a gold or new era where having a bitcoin was also a previlege and a rare opportunity because it does require a person to be able to hodl or to have it the potential to afford on its high price and the ability to sustain it while hodling and the ability to make or generate a profit from it due to become volatile of the market.
85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You won today, but then you will lose often on: April 28, 2021, 07:47:53 AM
I believe that as long as you have the will, You can escape gambling addiction. Escaping gambling addiction isn't a one-day process, This is why taking rehab in a rehabilitation center takes months or even years before you get out. I am an ex gambling addict and I suffered countless losses before I realized to myself that I need to stop.  I take the slow process of removing the addiction into my body, I didn't take the fast process because I know that the effectiveness of it is so low. Being helped by your family member is a great plus in recovering yourself but It is doable even if you do it alone.

I believe that there's a cure for being addicted in gambling and taking meds has nothing to do with it but rather controlling yourself and set limitation on yourself of how long (time) you're supposed to expose yourself in gambling could help. It is not an easy process believe me, it takes time and there is nothing who can help you out this but nothing than yourself and having a self descipline.  And its nice to hear such an inspiring story of a successful  exit from being a gambling addict, it really help a lot.
86  Economy / Speculation / Re: small price correction after this bullrun on: April 28, 2021, 06:49:04 AM
I'm also think something like this one, what happens if the 2017 case is not repeated?? In 2017 institution is not joining, but now is different, Bitcoin stronger than past and so many institutions join with huge money. If they did not sell it what happens?? No huge correction I think

But I have a target and my target at end of this year, I will sell my asset for my real life maybe will huge sell,  no matter what happens next I will not regret my decision

For me the essence of history repeat itself doesn't make sense in my own conclusion especially to the bitcoin market today. Small price corrections is inevitable and yet the bull run wasn't end. But the sudden price correction like what happen after the new ATH of bitcoin from $66k to $49k was indeed a big difference and it is alarming because of the gap but then the bitcoin market shows again the step by step moving of market price from $49k and now to $54k. So this shows that bitcoin was stronger than before, much more appreciated today than before.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: (I have not sold any bitcoins) New words from Elon Musk on: April 27, 2021, 01:41:10 PM
It doesn't matter whether Elon himself sold it or it's his company that has sold it. What matters is that bitcoin has shown again how strong it is and no matter how it has corrected for a few days, there's still a way for it to recover.

He may that he's not the one who actually sold the 10% of their holdings but it's his company which literally he's not the one who pressed the sell order.  Tongue

I was thinking if it doesn't really matter if Elon Musk will not going to sold any bitcoins that he hold. I mean we don't know how much he was hodling since he is not going to trade his bitcoin so does it mean he was planning to hold it for a quite long term maybe. I bet if he was hodling a bitcoin it could be a large number since he can afford to buy as much as he wanted to.

What does it mean? Will bitcoin reach 60k in this week. Please suggest me so I can invest.
Actually I also didn't know what might could be the possible effect of this or what does Elon Musk wanted to happen in bitcoin by deciding not to sold any of his bitcoin. But we just all wanted to see bitcoin grows day by day.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what do you think about the few days deep on: April 27, 2021, 01:02:24 PM
This is the thing that we often face today, when the market is in decline we all feel panic and often resell even though it is experiencing losses, then we must be ready to accept losses if we want to get a big profit because the value of crypto is difficult for us to predict but rest assured for this year the decline only happens temporarily, and all coins must reach a new ATH in the near future.

Honestly speaking the price correction that was obviously and always fluctuating the market can cause also a little confusion to the traders of what should they do next because of being volatile of cryptocurrency. We are all aiming for a high profit that is why every deep of crypto prices was alarming for us. However, as what I have saw the market today, I guess this has nothing to be totally worried about because this month of April was a month of altcoins.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do if Bitcoin hits $1m in the future? on: April 27, 2021, 10:43:13 AM
If Bitcoin manages to climb up to $1 million, then I assume that a lot of the users will be millionaires. There will be hundreds of thousands of users (if not millions) who own a minimum of BTC1 in their wallet. This can have a huge impact on the global economy, because of various factors. The vast majority of these new millionaires will be men in their 20s and 30s. They will be mostly concentrated in the US, former USSR, EU and East Asia. Countries such as India, Bangladesh and Turkey, which have taken a hostile stance towards Bitcoin are going to lose out.

Probably we must be a millionaires if in case bitcoin market value hit $1million. Everyone was waiting and aiming to become a millionaire, maybe not really a millionaire but atleast to achieve their financial freedom at an early age as they can and if through bitcoin this is not possible. But the most question to me was, does I have a bitcoin in my wallet at that moment happen, how I wish it wouldn't happen today, or tomorrow or even before this year ends which I guess a worth of $1million of bitcoin price was too far to be reality at the moment but not possible.
90  Economy / Speculation / Re: How fast do you think will Bitcoin reach $100k? on: April 27, 2021, 08:36:49 AM
Lol, this is so funny statement, what is your reason to say Bitcoin will fall to $25K. Even falling to $50K is difficult, and now you say will fall to half?? Educate yourself about Bitcoin before making any statement. $50K is strong support and Bitcoin will never go below $50K. The worst scenario will fall below $50K but for half is nonsense

Each and everyone of us here in community of cryptocurrenct are entitled with our own opinion and prediction. Respecting other opinion is a must but of course we can't stop commenting to others opinion, and I guess I would commenting on the possible lowest value of bitcoin down to $25000. Well every possibility is possible since bitcoin was a volatile currency but I guess hitting this lowest point at the currenct situation or market standard of bitcoin was doubtful.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you invest if it would also help those in need? on: April 27, 2021, 06:55:16 AM
So the more you transact, the more you can kind of "donate"?

I think it's a great idea, and maybe it could add an integrated thing with staking? Perhaps if you have those rewards, then they could be deposited into the charity account and that distribution that is needed or something.

Additionally, maybe you could work with the Bitcointalk Charity or something.

It is such a good idea for a fund raising drive that may help those who truly in need if there are no hidden agenda by the moderator or the fund raising drive manager. it could really help indeed but as long as the project moderator can present a legitimacy of their project then i wouldn't have any second thought to give a donations either. It is a good deed indeed but however the corruption thought in the people may also be there, it is given to have a second thought especially when money involved.
92  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading futures without knowledge of chart patterns, is gambling not trading on: April 26, 2021, 03:50:46 PM
Any form of investing without having the right knowledge is gambling and you are taking too much risk if you this, this is why many got burn in futures trading because they though they can easily make money here until they got liquidated and almost burn out their total capital.

You can see a lot of good post about their earnings in social media and many newbies are rushing to the market because of that without making their own research, and once they enter in the market they tend to trade using futures, well you can expect the next thing that can happen to them. Always have time to learn, don’t take any shortcuts and just enjoy the process you can be more profitable once you have the right knowledge.

Precisely, that is why it is still and always an ultimatum that whenever you are going to enter any kind of work or job be sure that you have already made yourself a self education about that thing that you are going to enter. A basic knowledge was the most important thing that you need to be able to survived, and in trading reading or knowing about chart patterns was a basic skills that need to know by every trader. Though it is crucial, but this would definitely help you to improve your other skills that required in trading, it will help you prevent from huge loss ahead.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Market Cap: Will it Bounce Back or Become More Bearish? on: April 26, 2021, 03:13:54 PM
the current market situation is very volatile. BTC movements are also very dynamic. You can see how the correction happens quite quickly and it makes a lot of people panic. but afterward, we can see how BTC also readjusts how the market responds.
if too many situations like this happen I'm afraid everyone will be knocked over when the big dump happens. many people think the market situation will recover in a short time as it has happened before.

Bitcoin market show us again the volatility and tricky of the market and I know every bitcoin hodlers are preparing themselves and also preparing their crypto coin to possible selling of their coins when the crushing of bitcoin price continues. But then at the same time bitcoin also shows us the true market playing of bitcoin and suddenly comes back to the $54000 from the last $49000. It made me believe that the dominance of bitcoin in crypto market was not yet over.
94  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It's the easiest to trade when you aren't trading on: April 26, 2021, 01:14:52 PM
Trading can produce higher profits than holding your coins, everyone knows this, the question is if you can actually get hold of those kind of profits? And most people cannot do anything remotely close to that, if you are one of the few that can do it then congratulations but for the rest of the people this is something impossible and should just hold their coins, but unfortunately they let themselves to be lured in by the idea of more profits and then they lose everything in the process.

Of course it is by trading you can generate more profit than holding your coin but the risk in trading was higher than the risk of hodling that cryptocurrency. Trading, investment and holding all comes in price, what I mean is before you can start you need a capital that you are willing to take risk and also the proper management of profit that you may earn along the way. For me, there is no easy on trading, it all comes to a process. A process like investing in yourself by educating yourself by knowledge and skills about trading.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government Taxing Bitcoin? Here's the Answer on: April 26, 2021, 12:09:36 PM

We have nothing to do with the government getting taxes with our bitcoin because in the first place, we should be thankful that they legalize cryptocurrency in a country and not all countries in the world have courage to make it possible. Some countries are still not implementing cryptocurrency that's why they don't understand how it works.

The only problem here is that the fees or taxes are far too high, but what can we do if that's the government's way to benefit to our bitcoin. We just need to accept the fact that the fees in the exchange are really high than having a government that is against to bitcoin. There purpose is for its people's sake and not for the corrupt politicians.

We do really have a fees in more aspects not only in exchange, taxes are necessary so that the government have funds and budget for their project and all of us will surely benefit to that.

Currently I lived in a country where bitcoin wasn't legally adopted nor announced as illegal and prohibiting its people to used or invest it. But if one of the reason why our government will goind to adopt bitcoin is because they wanted to serve a tax to any transactions or even in exchange then I guess there is nothing I can do than to comply of what was been set as regulation or law. Though, i hate the fact that our government will going to have a tax in bitcoin if ever because the tax percentage here in our country was high.
96  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go below $40,000 on: April 26, 2021, 10:46:37 AM

It has finally recovered again, that quick.  Grin

But if the dip continues a while ago, we should really be expecting it to drop up to $40k and even can go as low as the next prices such as $30k and $20k.

Hopefully that this recovery will stay just as it has stayed for those levels that have made its support.

The last time I check the coin market cap bitcoin price was below $50000 well it was $49,700 to be exact. At first it convinced me that bitcoin may now entering the bear market and probably it might goes lower than $45000 but now upon checking the coin market cap bitcoin was already back at $54,000+ so it convinced me too that bitcoin wasn't yet at the bear market. It might be a price correction but to be honest from the ATH of bitcoin this month of April which hits $65000 down to $54000 was a quite a large difference.
97  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does that mean trading is more popular than social media now? on: April 23, 2021, 06:18:17 PM

Yes, that's another reason why it has gotten the attention through social media. A lot of people became engaged to cryptocurrencies because of those influencers and simple people that have found their way to earn and trade online with it.

But there's more to it because only the good and success stories have been shared and once a newbie starts trading, he/she will find the best and the worst experience upon learning it.

I guess it is much better that trading become more popular today than social media because it is much worth it to pay attention and to spend time with, it is a lifetime learning and it is a lifetime skills that everyone can be used to their life than spending whole day scrolling and roaming around everyone's life. Also the mere fact that the crisis we have faced today was really stressed us out, giving other people anxiety and mental disorder so learning trading somehow not that really easy to do but it could really help.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank & Government Crypto on: April 23, 2021, 05:34:13 PM

They are free to do that but that seems not it gives a huge negative impact on Bitcoin.
because no matter what the government and banks doing, Bitcoin still the king among cryptocurrencies. This gonna be optional but I'm expecting that people will still be choosing Bitcoin that these centralized coins. We can keep and store our Bitcoin with no commission and our fullest controlled wallet, not like how it going to happen when using banking institutions.

I never doubt that the government will definitely make their own cryptocurrency since crypto today was being trend and everybody already sees the worth and value of having crypto. Well every country only wanted to improve their economy especially the crisis that the pandemic was brought a lot of economic downfall so considering making their own crypto and implement it to their people to used it will in fact so possible. But to be honest, I do believe that this has nothing to do with bitcoin, bitcoin was already established and valuable.
99  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the world be without poverty on: April 23, 2021, 04:34:28 PM
Lol, a world without poverty, such a beautiful dream. What would we make of that world,,, naahhh, its never going to be possible. The fact that, different or even the same thing means different thing to different people is a limitation to wealth already, as poverty relies in your ideas. Your ability to convert your mind grown thought into value and in turn wealth that would elevate you in the society.
Very few people can do that and as such, the riches of the world will continue to be limited to those who can't. So, poverty isn't going anywhere. What we could wish for is a stable or fair life but that too is likely not to happen.

Personally I was also asking why life was so unfair, I mean why there must be someone who can have a life with the previlege or simply super rich, rich and the lowest was the poor. Dreaming the world without poverty was a total in dream could only be happen because whatever may see life in any aspects and in any angle the economy of the world was designed to have a rich and poor aspects of life. So we as a person could only do was to improve our life, and improve our skills to elevate the aspect of our life.
100  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOLDING VS TAKING PROFITS DURING BULL RUN on: April 22, 2021, 03:10:58 PM

That works only with Bitcoin. The probability that its price will recover is much higher than probability that any other altcoins price will recover also.

You say you buy every deep and hold. How this is different from holding (because you say your strategy is better than "holding or taking profit")? If you sell and rebuy with lower price, then this is different.

Exactly, the effectiveness of profit-taking during bull run was quite effective on bitcoin because the price recovery of bitcoin has a high chance even if we would going to look back the market movement of bitcoin. It has a high recovery movement since the ATH before the year 2020 ends and the bitcoin price steadily become around $50000 - $59000 or much higher up to $64k. In my m case when bull run, I used to hodl and taking profits at the same time, selling other coins I have and hodling the rest.
