This project is such a blatant scam.  So glad the price keeps dumping.

don't see how it is a blatant scam? can you explain why?

Do you really think a small anonymous team is going to be able to hook up with a major debit card provider?  And how are they going to handle instant payments/debits?  This is no small feat from a technical perspective, just look at ETN and Graft as examples.  And their whitepaper is totally lacking in real information.  Who is "Phil Reynolds"?  His last name wasn't even listed on the bitcointalk thread initially IIRC, it was added later.  Is there any way to verify his name?  Why not post a link to his LinkedIn page or something?

If I were going to design a scam coin it would look very similar to this.  So far the market agrees with me.  Just look at the trades and volume on Trade Ogre.  Every day more XPP is dumped than could possibly have been mined and with almost every sale the price drops further.  The bulk of volume has to be coming from the pre-mine.  Of course the team could easily refute this by publishing the view keys.

83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] GRAFT - Universal Payment Processing Network on: July 16, 2018, 11:05:46 PM
goaterder show sells constant at just over 4million GRFT the past week. There are no big or distributed sell orders constituting 3 million. This is Bear Shit.
The bear market is killing it all to be honest & fair enough. It's all about that shit BTC.
We're kinda " centralized " to BTC, anything ab to BTC, bad to all cryto, i'm waiting for day zero we get rid of such domination.

a bear market?
look at the growth of the masari coin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2159114.0!
it is already 0.58 dollars! growth comes with the fall!

it all depends on the team and the coin!
the coin count is simply a deception of people who bought coins through ICO and miners ...
and therefore the price falls !!!
the project is shit and deception!

You exaggerate, we can't say Graft is shit and deception Shocked It was not supposed to be in an exchange now, it has been listed by these exchanges... the plan was: working on the product AND exchange later! The team is working hard on their project, we can be happy to see a project like that!
Graft is very ambitions and it's just the beginning of a long and ambitions roadmap... I think we can't speak about "shit" for a recent project which has already a Verifone certification, different mobiles apps, etc. They are doing all these things without caring being on an exchange for the moment Smiley

if the project is real, as you say, it works productively, then such a project shows the growth of dividends!
this is the law!
you will argue here !?
when a good job does the quotes on the stock exchange go down?
If the project only imitates the work - its value falls!

so projects like masari show growth when the bitcoin falls! there the team really works!
two projects with the same power of my farms give the same result in dollars
almost the same capacity and the same volume of trading ...
but one project grows and the other, "where the team works" - falls !?

I'm sorry for people who believed in the graft!

Go shill your shit Masari coin somewhere else.  I hope you didn't buy MSR when it was $2.

What happened to the Cryptopia promise to have it on the exchange by the end of last week?
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN][MANO] Masternode Foundation [Pre-Sale][Bounties] on: July 16, 2018, 11:02:51 PM
FFS, now we have a shit coin whose only purpose is not only just to scam masternodes but it's in the name.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DERO: DAG + Cryptonote + Bulletproofs + SSL + POW + Smart Contracts on: July 16, 2018, 11:00:08 PM
To CaptDero,
It is sad to know two core members will leave.
Will you continue to develop DERO by you own?

Serena and mojo were not developers, they were community managers. There are still 3 devs.

Prove it.

So what was Mojo's role if not dev?

Dero Technology: External Developer's Review

Call out to developers of cryptocurrency and blockchain projects to review the Dero Atlantis source code and cryptography.

Venue: https://discord.gg/GmDgjkD
Start Date: 20 July 2018
Start Time: 05:00 UTC
Duration: Ongoing
Instructions: On entry, please notify the moderators/DCAB members that you would like access to the Source Code AMA. You may be required to provide verification that you are a core developer of a cryptocurrency/blockchain project. No personal data is needed. You are encouraged to request for entry at your earliest convenience before or on 20 July 2018.

We are excited to announce that Dero is ready for it's external audit and review of it's technology, and we are inviting core developers of cryptocurrency and blockchain projects to be a part of the process! If you are a cryptography expert, academic researchers not involved to any cryptocurrency or blockchain project, you are also welcome to request for access but you will be required to prove your identity, background and/or prior work.

Dero is an exciting new project that combines the powerful privacy features of the Cryptonote protocol with the fast transactional speeds from the Directed Acyclic Graph protocol. Rewritten from the ground up in Golang, Dero is also the first blockchain to have complete SSL in the P2P layer.

Among it's other features at the time of writing:

the zero-knowledge proof protocol Bulletproofs Ring Signature; and
75 transactions per second on native blockchain.
There are many more features to be added in the future, but the scope of this session will solely be for the purposes of reviewing the unique implementation of the network and cryptography. We fully welcome your questions and candor during the session and hope that it would be a productive event for everyone.

The session will be take place in a private channel in our Discord chatroom, and the session will be archived and made available to the public domain for the cryptocurrency/blockchain community. Do not re-distribute the version of source code received. A publicly available version of the source code will be released at a later date.

From members of the Dero Community Advisory Board (DCAB)

hahahhahahahah
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POW][XPP] PrivatePay - Secure and Private | Payment Ecosystem | Revolusion on: July 16, 2018, 04:00:36 PM
Does anyone know the current circulating supply of PrivatePay?
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POW][XPP] PrivatePay - Secure and Private | Payment Ecosystem | Revolusion on: July 15, 2018, 09:03:30 PM
This is not a legit project.  The market seems to agree so far given that the market cap of this coin is literally in the bottom 0.1% of all coins.

The 10% premine is almost worthless, especially given that they won't be able to sell it without collapsing the price even more.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POW][XPP] PrivatePay - Secure and Private | Payment Ecosystem | Revolusion on: July 15, 2018, 09:00:58 PM
10% PREMINE?HuhHuhHuh??
ARE YOU JOKING???
Project dead already!

Don't bother with this, it's literally a copy of Masari with no new additions whatsoever.

It also doesn't have much of a roadmap except for "Our Mission" in the OP which is not only vague but it's also a pretty silly analogy in itself. Because, if "Jilian" has spent a lot of time mining and accumulating the coin, she definitely knows how to exchange them to FIAT, it's not really rocket science. The "actual" roadmap is also pretty vague and somewhat unrealistic.

One of the members of the "core" team said that Whitepaper is "really wanted by many" and "I will let the guys draft one out" as if it is a mundane piece that contains a bunch of buzzwords and gibberish. Well, let me tell you, if you're looking for real investors who know what they are doing, then you better draft an impeccable whitepaper and make sure to cover every aspect of your future plans or else it'll look amateurish and forced.

The "core" team introduction is laughable. If you want to be a legal entity (you said you do), listing common names like Andrew, Jake, and Jessica without actually linking to any profile from a reputable site is just as good as me saying Michael Jordan is my dad.

You have tackled one of the most impossible things in crypto and that's the introduction of ATM's alongside with >your debit cards. In order for anyone to believe in that story, you will have to deliver a well-written whitepaper, links to core team's profiles, a comprehensive roadmap, and much more.

Given that you failed to deliver all of those by now, it's safe to assume you're playing around that 10% premine and waiting for a listing or two in order to exit like dozens of other similar coins did.

Have fun.

I love how all of a sudden an "impeccable" whitepaper and real, full names become of paramount importance to some people. Oh, and only for some coins. Did Bitcoin have a whitepaper? Do you know who Nakamoto is? Then why is it relevant now?

Judge them on whether or not they're delivering what they promise, not their Microsoft Word skills.

Bitcoin did have a whitepaper.  Perhaps you should educate yourself before displaying your ignorance.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners on: July 12, 2018, 07:22:26 PM
Another possible bug:  If I set a managed miner's algo to "unspecified/multi" using Cast XMR it is still sending the --algo command line parameter of the last algo I was using, therefore I can't override it with a different algo using the command line option of the managed miner's configuration.  You really need to add Cryptonight-Fast as an algorithm choice.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners on: July 12, 2018, 07:03:21 PM
The profit display for a user-defined coin does not work when the coin algo is set to "unspecified/multi".

I tried a test using these numbers:

Difficulty: 100,000,000
Block Reward: 10
Value in BTC: 1

Hash rate:  12.5 kh

Profit per day:  $0.00016

That makes no sense.   If I change to some specific algo the profit calc works.  In both cases the algo on the managed miner was set to "unspecified/multi".  This isn't a big problem but it does seem to be a bug unless I'm overlooking something.

Need to add Cryptonight-Fast as an algorithm.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners on: July 10, 2018, 03:32:41 PM
Could you please change the "update remote" right-click option to be available on the group level at all times?  Would be much more convenient than having to update each miner individually.  Right now it appears to be available only if all miners are enabled and out of date.  If even one miner is disabled or offline the option is not available.

My 1.6.2 is fine, same hash rate as 1.6.1.  Try playing with intensity.

I assume you're aware of the BitTube fork and PoW change, hope it's in the next release.

Karma has a funny way of biting people in the ass.

I almost feel sorry for such losers.   Almost.

Serena Fox sure as hell ain't her real name.

Still waiting for team information... not to mention source code.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DERO: DAG + Cryptonote + Bulletproofs + SSL + POW + Smart Contracts on: June 26, 2018, 08:52:58 PM
Everyone knows there is no such supportive team as DERO in crypto world.

Yeah, just look at their "support" for hobbyist/GPU miners.

Geezus man.
