It seems that they are doing it in order to prevent users to withdraw Bytecoins at a cheaper price and sell at a second exchange at a more expensive price. 10 Confirmation is too much, and what to say for 2000 confirmations!?

Bytecoin Wallet is not a problem. The problem is that many still use old versions that cause problems. That's stubbornness. And then many ask why... From first exchange withdraw to desktop wallet, then to second exchange. Not directly!

I still want to have a faster Bytecoin network, that we have faster synchronization of the blocks in the wallet. However, let's be reasonable. Bytecoin developers work tirelessly. All things are improved and fixed. We need to admit even to developers and ourselves that everything works much faster.

If someone does not agree, let's show us a wallet that works faster and better. Are you aware that for Bitcoin Core, for example, synchronization lasts not for days but for weeks. Try and see for yourself.

Well, then what is the problem here (and as before it was not)? Anonymity. Nothing more and nothing less. Bytecoin is the only fully anonymous altcoin. Are exchanges decentralized? They did not. That's the problem.

We really appreciate your appraisal of Bytecoin Desktop, RedAnt.

Oh, side note. In 22 days, BCN won't receive new tokens anymore. End of mining. I'd like some burning too, but I'm curious to see what's gonna happen then.

Regarding the mining, not sure about 22 days, since mining reward decreases as the maximum emission reaches its top. It is around a little less than a year left.
Important thing to note here is that the mining will continue, and the new blocks will be created. The only thing that changes is that there will be no reward for mining the block and the miners will rely solely on the fee.
I had a look at this:https://countdown.bytecoins.world
So don't know if it's totally wrong somehow.
Anyway, the mining will continue as new blocks are created but no more coins will be given to miners?

The rewards are given out according to a certain curve, and I don't think bytecoins.world reflects that, but they have done a good job anyway.
Regarding the mining, yes, it will continue. The miners won't be given "coinbase" rewards anymore, but they will still have profits from the fee that the users pay when sending the TX.

I have this coin and im fell sad.I do not even know what to do. Or to sell or transfer to another stock exchange and wait for a better time for this coin ?I do not even know what to do. Who is following this coin? is there a future for her? What are the plans for the developers?
I'm not following this coin but I just pass by to see on how many people are aware of the current news.
How many BCN you currently hold? if I'm on your position I'll sell this immediately.
Get your boat now and evacuate while you still have time.

Sell in loss more than 30% (fallen for 2 last days after announce). Why? Better to wait when price recovery and than sell. I think devs will listed BCN to some other exchanges instead of Binance. Bytecoin have a good cap and devs have money for listing. They can list to Huobi I think (and this is a good exchange too).
BCN isn't the one that decide to delist them to Binance but the management of BNB itself.
If BCN devs are going to list it somewhere again, they have a lot of choice.
Huobi is a good choice if they will and I've reading some positive reviews with them.

Thanks for the trust and the advice, terrific

is it a final verdict that binance will delist or is their anything that the community can do to prevent this from happening, i love binance and bcn being their, or can it still be relisted after being delisted.

The negotiations are in the process. We will release the info as soon as the process finishes. Thanks for the patience!

I'm still halfway, after 12 hours, from transferring my BCN to Polo. Longest transaction ever.

Hi, Toshin_Raizen!

Poloniex currently has 600 confirmations on deposit which corresponds to the wait time of around 20 hours.

Could you give us info regarding how close (or far) from turning point for the hardfork to come in effect? You spoke of at least 90%, so knowing approximately the % would help quite a bit. Thanks.

We are still waiting to hear back from our mining pools as they are still in the process of making updates to their software. Once we hear back from them we will have more conclusive numbers to share with the community!

Dynamic fees - how will the transaction fee be calculated and who will regulate it? Do you plan to introduce smart contracts into the system in the future?

The transaction fee will be calculated based upon what the user would like to pay. The higher the fee they will offer the faster their transaction will be processed.

This fee will be regulated by the market. Higher fee, the faster processing of transactions, lower fee, the transaction will be processed slower.

About smart contracts, that is more directly connected with Ether. The Bytecoin team is working on anonymous tokens but this is still a good deal away. As soon as we have an update about it we will share it with the community!
