I'm not a big alt coin fan myself but I can help you out with this a bit.

I thought of a funny name, though, if you go with Terracoin as your 3rd currency. Why not BTCLT-bar.tk?  Grin

That is funny! props to you Smiley Ill give credit if that one is used

Who will be coding the system ?
Ill do what i can. and ill have to find someone to do the rest
83  Economy / Services / Re: Help me with faucet idea on: October 11, 2013, 01:06:27 AM
If you are doing an alt-coin faucet, perhaps it should be called something like "altfaucet" "alt-coinfaucet" or something obvious like that.  Are you good with coding though?

i'm novice

You may donate so we can buy a domain and pay for a little promotion

Thank you in advance! Please do not donate more than 0.1 btc without posting the blockchain here so everyone can view it

Hey BTCtalk I got an idea Smiley We all love bitcoin rite? but there are some that want to use XRP or Litecoin
So why not makes a faucet that spits coins out every 12 hrs but you can choose what coin or alt-coin you'd like.
Or if they have all 3 address in there account give them a randomize option so its a surprise.

It's just a rough idea. I want help making a site to do this.. im thinking a (.tk) domain for the time being.
Once the site is functional I would like donations for the faucet. Hopefully we can make a automatic wallet thingy so no admin has to touch the funds.

Adspace will be for sale at 0.1 per month. I dont want to make anything off this. I just remember when i first discovered bitcoin and alt coins it was pretty hard to get.

If you wanna be involved in this project post below and ill pm you when i can.

DO NOT ASK TO DONATE UNTIL SITE IS FUNCTIONAL!
Things i need help figuring out
  • name for site
  • LOGO
**UPDATE**
The 3rd coin for the faucet will be MASTERCOIN!
Please share your opinons on this!

If true, how generous and wonderful! The Bitcoin community thanks you for your gesture. Hopefully n00bs will do the finding and get hooked, rather than veterans doing the finding and bloating their existing two-, three- or greater-figure stash.

i forgot i had them:) So i figure why not do something good.

It would be easier to just make the ASICs use sockets like CPUs.  Then you keep your motherboard and swap the chip.
See thats the kinda reply i like! Good idea! Thanks for contributing

well ... that was the idea from the start ... i told u why it wont happen .. and the "apple" thingie was a example ... duh ...
ahhh but it wasnt the idea i was basing my idea off the 4 pin phoneblok idea. but the user mentioned having a cpu like chip.
which i hope you know has more than 4 pins

it will never happen, apple will never charge u just 50$ so u can mount a better camera on your phone, they will charge u 500$+, for a new phone with better camera
Well this doesnt involve apple in any way? Beside the fact im replying from a mac book

Phone goes to low-battery-usage mode if you aren't using it at the moment. If it would mine while idling then it would eat-up whole battery in no time. Especially that you must have internet connection to submit shares.
Theres a fault for doing it on the phone its self. but using the board and simlar chips still has no fault

Ok theres a new phone concept out called "Phonebloks"  http://www.phonebloks.com/

You can add and remove pieces such as battery,processer,camera... wouldnt the board idea work with modified asic chips?
and a bigger board. then when a new asic comes out you just upgrade the chips on the board.

I really see no reason as to why it wouldnt work.

Anyone got any input or ideas. And is anyone willing to try and out this in action?

Or ever use the phone as a on the go miner???
