I still don't know if the hype this project is generating really worth it,other thing I want to ask is if the partnership with the likes of IBM has been confirmed because most of these ICOs will use all these partnership to pump the price of their tokens later to find out that there is no real substances behind the news

Explain to me here. What's the difference between IOTA and IOT chain? What does it offer that IOTA doesn't. And most importantly, why would someone invest in IOT chain rather than a more established IOTA, who has had multiple name brand partnerships already.
Many investors who buy IOT speculate that Chinese investors are more likely to support their own coin than IOTA. Just look at the typical behavior of Chinese people: they don't use Facebook, they don't use what's app. Instead, they have developed their own alternatives. Jut like NEO. Basically this can be an huge project backed by Investment funds It's not the shitcoin you see in the market.
